Esme P.O.V

Letting out a sigh, Esme started making a plan. To avoid the Cullen family, she would have to get her investments in order. The call to Jenks was only the start. Thankfully she had the idea to put her money in her name only and therefore could easily block Carlisle from seeing any of her information. Another thing she would have to do is talk to the Denali family (as she and Bella were occupying their home).

Checking in on Bella, she found that the brunette was still asleep. Bella had kicked the blanket off her legs and was halfway off the couch, cuddling a pillow to her chest. Esme found the sight cute and went to adjust the blanket, moving it back over the girl's legs.

Slowly, Esme shifted her arms under Bella and moved her back onto the couch, tucking her in. Moving back to the phone, she typed in Tanya's number and waited for an answer.

"Hello? Tanya? Yes, this is Esme, lovely to hear you, dear."

"I wanted to talk to you and your sisters for a moment if that's okay?" Esme heard a confirmation.

"Great. Thank you for your time. See you soon dear."

Esme sighed thinking back to the white space she and Bella woke up in. Scrunching her nose in thought she decided to test something.

"Stats," Esme said, confidently.

The caramelette heard and ding and saw a screen pop up.

Name: Esmeralda "Esme" Platt

Esme narrowed her eyes and thought back to some of the games Emmet played.

"Upgrades," Esme said, waiting.

Another ding was heard and the screen changed.

Esme looked at the unallocated points and decided to wait for Bella to wake up. She knew that they should plan out the points together so they can come up with a training plan.

Her thought process was interrupted by a floating notification. Looking towards it she read it aloud.

"Denali arrival countdown? Four minutes and thirteen seconds."

Esme tilted her head up in acknowledgment.

Tanya P.O.V

Looking at her sisters she nodded, indicating a meeting was needed between the three. Irina and Kate looked at her seriously, sensing this was going to be interesting.

"Esme said she is currently in our Denali home with a guest and that she wanted to meet up to talk. She wanted to know if it was okay if she stayed in our home for a while."

Kate and Irina looked at each other and decided to mention an incident that happened while the eldest was hunting.

"Well..." Kate started, "Carlisle called earlier and we think it may have to do with this."

Tanya tilted her head in confusion and motioned for both to continue.

"Esme sent Carlisle divorce papers and a restraining order. Edward and he called in a panic and asked if we had seen her. Rosalie also texted me sounding amused and said the same thing." Irina said, sounding serious.

Tanya put her head on her hand in thought, humming. Looking back at the other two vampires she nodded, showing she had made a decision.

"Carlisle did something unforgivable, and it seems our theory of them not being mates is true. Judging by Esme's tone and the situation I think it's best we neglect to mention hearing from her until we get the full story."

All of them nodded in unison, a rare moment for all three to agree on one thing. Kate spoke once again, stating what all were thinking.

"I never liked Carlisle and only kept in contact due to a similar diet. He and Edward seemed far too pushy for their good. Not to mention the misogyny."

Heading towards the door the trio of blondes ran to Denali determined to get the full story.

Alice P.O.V

Alice was sitting worried about Esme's sudden departure. First, she disappears for a week and now she divorces her mate? Edward looked at her thinking along the same lines. Alice froze and entered a vision, Edward seeing it too.

A brunette and caramelette enter the town of Forks Washington. It was Esme and an unknown girl, looking to be about 16 to 17 years old.

Both entered a house that looked newly built, smiling and laughing. The two had a familial bond, that was obvious. Esme helped the young brunette move her stuff into a medium room and went about putting stuff away.

Suddenly Esme got a phone call, much to the confusion of both. Looking at the caller ID, she smiled lovingly and answered.

"Hello, my loves, lovely to hear from you. When are you three arriving? Bella wants to see her other moms."

Esme suddenly stopped and glared at the corner in which Alice was watching. Hatred was clear in her eyes.

Alice was pulled out of the vision violently much to the shock of Edward. During both of their spacing, the family gathered around them.

"Carlisle we saw Esme! She was with a brunette! But she called three people her loves. and by the sounds of it, they were women." Edward said with disgust.

Alice nodded and smiled.

"I think the girl she was with is Edwards mate! She looks perfect for him, of course, some changes are needed."

Edward nodded responding in kind.

"Esme also needs to be reminded of being your mate. You chose her after all."

Carlisle nodded and looked over hearing a growl, seeing it come from Rosalie he ignored her. She wasn't important.
