"koyuki...it's really a pleasure to be working with you." the god slayer chirped, arms behind her back. Smiling brightly towards the fairy tail mage, speaking of the the mage, she smiled nervously.
"ah, thanks, I guess." she rubbed her nape on modest show of bashfulness, "not used to anybody from our world admiring me, except saying; it's the fairy tail wizards, they've destroyed so-and-so, run!" giving a catty look, "kinda miss that..."
"it's because of the collateral damage, isn't it?" recovery girl asked and most fairy tail members looked embarrassed or look away while whistling.
Crystal couldn't help but hold a feline smirk, "fu fu Modest, aren't we..." skipping ahead and skillfully dodging the people walking by, few would point out the silverette and muttered excitedly to themselves. Especially a young middle schooler.
"it's so weird, it's unnatural." happy said with a poker face.
"usually people just shout at us." evergreen sighed and glared at her team mates.
"I told you! I didn't mean to accidentally trap you in my traps!" freed said.
"but hearing you blurt out all those secrets were hilarious!" bixlow teased.
"hilarious! hilarious!" his dolls chanted.
Koyuki shrugged sluggishly, glancing to the girl with a raised silver brow. "I'm surprised you choose to do work studies with sir nighteye."
Crystal pouted slightly in annoyance, 'I had many options, but past agencies were really laxed or straight up annoying on their a hero must blah blah, big talk one's." she pouted.
"is that true?" sato asked.
"yes." sir nighteye said adjusting his glasses, "there are very few agencies similar work as mine, who don't do their job. They're very lazy but payed by the government."
"these work studies involve detective work and information gathering, slightly similar to underground heroes. The only problem is how long these cases drag, evidence and information gathering is such a drag." gran torino said.
"yeah, but sooner or later it gets the job done." Aizawa sighed, knowing from experience.
Her pout turned into a seductive one, koyuki looked a little nervous despite the straight face. "I was also surprised seeing you too, koyuki..." however, a vexing look appeared on the brunette's brow. "though it really bothered me that the plain freckled boy came along." turning away with a click on her tongue, propping her hands on her hips in show of her annoyance, "he really kills the mood for me."
"hey! Izuku isn't plain! He's kind, handsome and the greatest hero ever!" koyuki shouted and sighed, when both crystal and rogue confessed to her, she wanted to give them both a chance. Dating them separately to help her heart choose, but both of them sabatoge the date. 1st rogue and their date in magnolia then the date with crystal that suddenly turned into a war zone. Because of their actions, she refused to date either of them until they grow up.
"that freckled boy is my best friend, too, you know."
Izuku felt both proud and jealous, for koyuki defending him and wishing she was with him throughout his journey.
Glancing up to meet narrowed azures, deep disapproval and openly angered at the insult towards her friend. Flashback of Izuku being sad about his appearance and the silverette looked irked.
Izuku blinked and turned bright red, "wait, so dragneel finds midoriya attractive?" midnight asked.
"yes, and midoriya is anything but plain or ordinary. His freckles are cute and hair is fluffy, but koyuki is attracted to who you are plus to your body as well." Joanne said making the greenette blush even more.
Crystal freeze up slightly, she bowed slightly in apology. "ah, sorry, sorry." blinking in utter surprise at the show of aggression, watching koyuki walk ahead slightly, there was silence for a few minutes. "you 2 must be close if your always by each others side." glancing up to the grey clouds with her orange orbs, seeming piqued. "I keep seeing you 2 together and I can't slip in for chat."
Koyuki calmed down, "I guess with me being here for 3 years, we've kinda stuck to the other by the hip." she smiled slightly to herself and waved to a young boy clinging to he's mother ,he looked at her in awe.
The students were actually jealous of Izuku for befriending koyuki, she proves to be a loyal and kind friend.
The god slayer hummed, closing 1 eye in thought. Before smirking, "almost like your brother and teammate, Lucy. Right?"
Mina's shipping senses were tingling, fairy tail had a very awkward silence. "wait, you like natsu?" mitsuki asked.
"I once did before my memories got erased, I haven't recovered them so I don't hold any feelings for him." Lucy explained trying to calm down an angry mard geer.
The dragon slayer became rigid at the assumption, glancing back with doe wide eyes. "wah?" snapping to the bluenette, who pranced and skipped away.
"nothing... Nothing..." the moora held a broad smile, her hands clenching tightly. Flashback, little Crystal were watching the grand magic games with her brother with the audience. "Charles! Charles!" she tug her brothers sleeve in excitement, she pointed to the silverette standing beside her brother. "I'm going to date koyuki!" turning towards the fairy tail mage with such hopeful and bright eyes, "and we're gonna be a strong team, I'll watch her back..." blushing slightly to herself, "and she'll watch mines." clasping her hands together, as if in prayer. "I hope she gives me a chance."
Everyone was surprised, "the grand magic games...' Izuku muttered.
"so that's how she knew her." yuga said.
"and got her crush, ribbit." tsuyu said.
"what if she doesn't? " Charles asked.
Crystal snapped at her brother's direction; he held this look of focus, watching the results and next contestants. "this isn't some story book where the main female lead always gets the lover by chance, you gotta earn their trust 1st."
"everyone dreams at 1st, but then they wake up to reality where dreams must be achieved through hard work. You all fantasized how your dream of being a hero when it's as easy as you thought, and that life and reality doesn't play fair." Joanne said.
Crystal's little cheeks puffed in frustration, "I will! I'll gain her trust!" slinking back slightly when her mirrored orange orbs looked into hers.
"what if it's someone else? What if she liked someone else that's not you? " her brother watched her jaws clenched in distaste.
"they better be worth my time to even throw the rag! If I found out they're just pansies that won't put in the effort, I won't forgive them!" flashback ends.
The love rivals were surprised by this, this mage is practically challenging them. "so that's why she started the sabatoge." koyuki muttered.
The scene changes where we left off Izuku and mirio with the leader of the 8 precepts of death, he apologizes for he's 'daughter's' behavior. "she tends to get excited while playing and hurts herself, it's a real problem."
All of fairy tail growled at this man.
Izuku was frozen in fear, he flinched when mirio threw his hood over him. He was de-escalating the situation, mirio was having small talk with kai and in thought, they needed to report to sir nighteye about this new information. Kai did asked which agency they were working for but mirio made sure not to give out any important information he has.
Sir nighteye was happy for mirio's actions in handling the situation, but he can read that Izuku will want to protect this little girl by any means. The only good thing from watching these alternate universe stories was the information on how to prevent upcoming events before the summer camp and Joanne saved eri.
Mirio told Izuku they need to finish patrolling, the greenette was slightly shaken but was about to follow. Then eri clung to him, tightening his sleeve. The child trembled in fear; her ruby eyes shook, while tears bubbled in fear. "don't go..."
Hearing that cry for help was breaking their hearts, this little innocent girl needed to be saved. Mirio was about to stand up when sir nighteye held his hand, "there's nothing you can do."
"but--" the blonde protested.
"if you were to engage against kai to save that little girl, it would end in a brutal fight with collateral damage."
Izuku gulped and got the attention of both kai and mirio on Eri's concerns, the leader narrowed his eyes. "only because I just got done scolding her."
"I call bullshit!" gray growled, bisca Alzack and were holding they're daughter close. Mako did the same with his son, romeo.
"yeah, but these bandages don't look like something she'd get from just playing a little too rough." the greenette said wrapping his arms around her securely, glaring slightly at the dark brunette before him. He said she falls a lot but Izuku knew better, 'I'm so glad koyuki isn't here, but she and crystal can take him on.' he thought, "for a girl her age to be trembling in fear, silently. I just don't think it's normal."
It was very obvious on Eri's situation, but they are not strong enough against a yakuza.
Kai glared down on him, "don't presume to know what's normal, for other people's households." Izuku cradled eri and demanded to know what kai was doing to her.
"midoriya that is reckless! We already presume his actions towards eri but confronting him is both dangerous and stupid." sir nighteye scolded.
"I don't want to lose her like what happened to koyuki." everyone was quite.
Kai sighed in defeat, "it figures that a hero woiluld be sensitive to such subteties, very well." both young heroes looked surprise, pivoting towards the alley way. "it's a bit embarrassing, really. I'd rather not be overheard, could you come this way?"
"Joanne, do you know kai's quirk?" sir nighteye asked.
"yes, it's a contact base quirk called overhaul. He can deconstruct and reconstruct anything, even human beings." Joanne explained.
"wait, eri... Was she...? " Izuku was afraid of the answer, Joanne nodded sadly. She looked angst.
Both heroes in training glanced at the other, mirio gave Izuku a hard warning stare. The greenette carried the child who is clinging onto him and trembling.
"if... If we didn't listen to him and took eri... He was going to kill us, wasn't he?" mirio asked scared.
"yes." Joanne said.
"I've actually been concerned about eri lately, no matter what I say, she fights back." kai said lazily, emerald orbs narrowed on the man's back.
"raising a child can be tough, I imagine..." Izuku said.
"yes, children are so difficult." he stopped in his place, shuffling for something. "what will they become? What can they become? I constantly find myself wondering about that." he was removing he's gloves, Eri's eyes widen in fear and she ripped out of Izuku's grasp. She ran to the man's side.
Izuku was horrified, kai was going to kill them if eri didn't go back with kai, "we... We should've saved her..." mirio muttered in defeat, "we shouldn't have left her with him."
"we didn't know kai's quirk, we can still change the outcome." sir nighteye was reassuring mirio.
Izuku was very confused, "oh? Done throwing your tantrum?" kai asked, you can almost hear the sneer in his voice. The 2 left, Izuku wanted to follow but mirio prevented him. He noticed the blood lust and so did eri, they needed to report to sir nighteye immediately and the rain began to fall.
"what is kai's quirk?" macarov asked, Stella sighed and answered. The ceiling shaked, Izuku looks up and had a mutual feeling for some reason.
Koyuki and crystal's phones vibrated, they pulled them out at the same time, looked at the screen then each other and rushed off to meet with the others. The scene changes to the corner street; sir nighteye, bubble girl, mirio and midoriya were already there. "so sorry, it was a complete accident. It was the classic scene, where you run into the transfer student coming around the corner." mirio explained, izuku remained silent.
"mirio, Pls stop using references..." tamaki sighed.
"no, this was my failure." sir nighteye waved the apology off, "it could have been prevented if I had foreseen in advance."
bubble girl nodded in agreement, "we're just glad you guys're are ok! It could've been dangerous if he gotten suspicious--"
"what do you mean?" they all snapped to see both Dragon and god slayer rushing in, koyuki skid to a stop.
Crystal held her phone up, "we received that we're meeting here, but I agree with koyuki. What happened?"
"we pretty much ran into the young boss of the 8 precepts of death..." mirio said.
Both wizards tensed, "are you both alright!?" koyuki asked.
Izuku smiled slightly, "we're alright, koyuki." he turned to bubble girl, "he doesn't seem all that terrifying."
"No, he's plenty terrifying."
Sir nighteye sighed, "the other day, a band of robbers making their getaway got some other people involved in a truck crash. The ones involved were members of the 8 precepts of death, however there were 0 injuries or fatalities." the students looked surprise, "the robbers reported feeling intense pain before blacking out, but they awoke without a scratch. Even preexisting ailments like rheumatism and cavities were miraculously cured, it very well could've been thanks to chisaki's quirk. But either way, the villains were arrested and no one was hurt. So chisaki couldn't be questioned for any crime."
"ugh! Your government is more laxed!" Crystal whined slouching slightly in show of her annoyance. "Fiore would've been questioning every detail and watch you like a falcon."
"they do that?" nezu asked.
"yes, dark wizards are a huge threat especially when they worship zeref. They take threats seriously." Joanne answered.
"also the population isn't too high." yuumi pointed out.
"but, didn't they do that with fairy tail?" Lily asked and the my hero academia group looked at them.
Koyuki blinked dumbly at the water god slayer, "no... That's what they do for Fairy tail." moora snapped away with a pout and pink blush.
"it's the collateral damage, isn't it?" cementoss asked with a deadpan expression.
Bubble girl silently shook off her utter shock, "st-still, they say the stolen money all burned up. The police decided there was nothing about the incident worth investigating, but the nighteye agency decided to start tracking the gang. Given how strange the story was."
"now that is oddly strange." koyuki muttered.
"there's no way to know what he's thinking yet, but this is a guy who gets stuff done." Mirio then informed of kai's daughter, koyuki tensed at this information. Izuku gave further information about her but didn't notice koyuki taking a step forward towards him, "she was really scared, I don't know what was going on. But I tried to save her!"
Everyone winced at koyuki's behavior.
Her hands trembling, "excuse me..." azures seem dilated from her inner turmoil.
Izuku glanced at koyuki's trembling reaction, remembering koyuki's dream to become a mother. He can already tell she can be nurturing, "I just wish I could've done something to protect her--"
Sir nighteye stopped him, "haste makes waste, go after him haphazardly, and he'll slip through your fingers. You're not quiet so special as to be able to save whom you want, when you want." Izuku was taken aback, koyuki bit down her teeth and grinded in silent rage. Her pupils taking a serpentine glare, "presently, we're requesting other agencies to team up with us on this case." the dark greenette turned away from midoriya's look of defeat and dragneel's glare of rage, "1st, we must predict what the enemy is planning--"
"screw that!" the silverette roared out, slapping her chest. "just let me sniff them out and--"
"and you'll want? Charge in." his lenses seem to narrow from the light reflecting, "act irrational now dragneel and you will face consequences." she clenched her fists, "you're not exactly off Japan's watch, and UA is responsible for you." the glows of his lenses leaving, revealing their glows. "do not disappoint those who've taken you in."
"this is just like the guild team up but we fought immediately." Lucy said.
"unlike earth, earthland don't have secret drug cartels. Lots of illegal stuff but usually the magic council are sometimes in charge to stop threats on an inhumane level." Vivi said.
Koyuki remained silent, looking away while her silver locks shadowed her eyes. Her lips remained pulled back in her rage, "koyuki..." Izuku looked worried.
"after extensive analysis, we'll start planning to make sure everything is in place." directing this to both saddened midoriya and defeated dragneel, "the world is not so accommodating that you can act the hero because you feel like it, the cleverest villains out there lurk in the shadows. There will be times when every precaution must be taken ." the rain came down harder, "you 4 return to the office, your done for the day." he turned to the blue heroine, "your with me, bubble."
Bubble girl rushed beside the man, "yes sir!" leaving the 4 in thought.
"so there's no drug cartels in earthland."
"no, magic is practically everywhere and is allowed to be use all the time. Drugs don't even exist there, steroids or botox are just magical enhancers with no addictive side effects. There's kidnapping, dark guilds, curroption, illegal smuggling, but no drugs anywhere." Joanne explained.
"it sounds almost lucky." snipe said.
"almost?" Shinso asked.
"the demons and slavery."
"oh..."
Crystal glanced to the fairy tail wizard then to mirio, nodding to leave. He didn't understand but listened to the bluenette, leaving the 2 1st years. But before moora harshly tugged Izuku close, "she's crying on the inside, idiot..." she whispered with a strain in her voice, then releasing him with a huff.
Izuku winced but understood, koyuki needs him.
He looked surprised at the god slayer, then looked towards the silverette. Frowning slightly in concern, "koyuki?" she remained looking ahead, he was getting worried. Reaching out to her clenched fist, "koyuki--" freezing at the droplet of blood through her clenched fingers, emeralds dilating in utter concern and horror. "koyuki!" snapping in front of her and grabbing both fists, "stop it--"
"dammit." she cursed softly.
"koyuki?" he noticed that she was quivering, then trembling. She had a mix of rage and defeat, glancing up to meet worried emeralds.
Her azures taking a dull sapphire color, with tears streaming down. Biting her bottom lip, "... dammit... dammit... dammit..." cursing through her teeth.
"she's taking this very personal." Reiko said.
Izuku held a saddened look before pulling her into his embrace, arm around her back, while the other petted through her pixie locks. Ignoring the rain pelting on their figures, "... dammit... dammit...!" she started to sob, "dammit!!!"
He bit his bottom lip harshly, 'don't cry, koyuki... You didn't do anything wrong...'
"she's taking this very personal." all might said.
"well Child Abuse is a huge topic in fairy tail, most of the members are victims to Child Abuse, labor and slavery. Master macarov doesn't tolerate such inhumane acts, he usually destroys them till they can't feel a thing..." Joanne was pale.
The scene changes to the outside of the sir nighteye agency locker room, "your never going to win." Crystal said at Izuku who just finished changing.
Emeralds meet orange orbs, "excuse me?" he was confused.
She chuckled sounding slightly annoyed. "what will she gain from a quirk user?" laughing snidely to herself, "security? Hah!" meeting his narrowed emeralds with her teasing orange ones, "in comparison to you quirk users and us wizards, you're all quite the inferior race."
"OK that's just being quirkist right there!" Mina growled.
"yeah! Sure quirk and magic are different but not everyone is inferior!" testutetsu growled.
"she goes to a school full of quirks, she would've been more respectful with her peers." tenya said.
"I don't get it, what's the beef with this bitch and quirks?" mitsuki asked.
"she had a very bad experience when she and her brother arrived on earth." kimiko said sadly.
"don't take it to heart, she did the same thing to rouge. Because Fairy tail and sabetooth are told to be the biggest rivals despite the change, while fairy tail is the most destructive guild, sabertooth is said to be more ferocious. That was before, things change a lot." koyuki explained.
"I beg your pardon, but your being quite discrimitory and I didn't need to hear it." Izuku said.
Crystal scoffed, "I'm stating facts." frowning and crossing her arms under her bust, "also, will you even be satisfied with the remaining time with her?"
"Eh?"
Her gaze narrowed onto the greenette, clicking her tongue. "you do realize she's from another dimension, if you get too close to her-- maybe start a relationship with her. She'll eventually have to leave, will that short time together satisfy you?"
Everyone was quite and understand what she said but also hindering the bond koyuki made with her classmates, friends and heroes.
"... I..." he glanced away, flinching at the repeated question; will that short time together satisfy you?
She scoffed at his silence, "I'll take your silence as a no." pushing herself off the wall, "you and everyone else is better off keeping their distance." heading towards the door, "because the day she leaves and is outta the picture, your going to crash and burn with grief."
"you just want her all to yourself you selfish bitch!!" katsuki shouted.
"and if we keep our distance and ignore her she'll get hurt either way! It's not manly hurting someone's feelings!" kirishima shouted.
"she hates us! She's so selfish!" ochako growled, but this gave most of the audience a thought about Crystal. Is this who she really is?
Izuku is utterly perplexed and bewildered, "why are you telling me this? Wouldn't you prefer it?"
Crystal shrugged, "I rather challenge my rival fairly, not pity them for what's coming." she muttered under her breath.
Izuku clenched his fists taking this challenge, "is she always like that?" masaru asked.
Fairy tail was very quite for some reason, "she used to be, but she was young and inexperienced how to win someone you love fairly." Lucy said looking sad and holding mard's hand.
