Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we're going to be going over the events of the episode of Omniverse titled the more things change part 2. Again as usual I have no idea how much will change but as with almost all of my chapters there will be changes from the original.

Anyway I don't have anything else to add with without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Ben's P.O.V.

After we were done being awed at our first sight of this underground town, we started following Rook after the trio that attempted to completely destroy Mr. Bauman's shop. As we finally caught up to Rook, I said with some awe still in my voice "there's a whole city of aliens down here." Rook as if it were common knowledge said "you seem surprised Bendude" and I said "a whole secret city."

Rook didn't acknowledge what I added on as he said "come partners we much catch those lowlifes who have wrecked Bauman's store." Mira then said "honestly I'm pretty sure Ben and me did more damage to the store then they did" and Rook started running even faster. I said "yeah Rook about that whole partner thing don't get your hopes up" and we split up from each other with Rook chasing after the one that looked like a robot and Mira and I going after bubblehead and the chicken.

As we followed them into what looked like a old train course I activated the Omnitrix and said "XLR8 can catch those skusbuckets" and I slammed down the core and transformed into NRG. The sudden change in mass into NRG caused me to stumble and I almost fell but managed to catch myself on my feet just in time before anything could happen.

I then said "NRG really" and I spit out some molten energy from the grates on the helmet of the containment suit that I need in this form to prevent radiation from hurting anyone near me. As Rook caught up with us he asked "what happened" and I said "eh new Omnitrix I'm still learning the controls" and Rook said "allow me and removed his proto-tool from his shoulder and aimed it at the chicken like alien.

The proto-tool shot out what looked like a blast that hit the chicken alien in the back and after the glow disappeared it revealed there was a device that would keep the chicken alien immobilized while we questioned him. I put a hand on his shoulder and said "nice going Rook" and then caught myself "uh for a newbie I mean."

Mira and I walked up to where the chicken alien was immobilized and she said "talk who's behind these alien shakedowns" and the chicken alien's eye went wide and bawked a little before saying "Behind you." Rook who had walked up behind us said "even I wouldn't fall for that and this is my first day on Earth" and then a light started shining from behind us and saw what looked like a hovering bus coming at us."

I said "guys quick" and we picked the chicken alien from the tracks and threw him off of them and I said "Everyone behind me."

The did so and the bus slammed into me which caused the metal of my armor to tear up the wood part of the tracks as we were still moving backward from my perspective. The alien driving the bus said "hey you took out my breaks" and I retorted "well you ran us over" and we eventually exited the tunnel and ended up in what looked like a market place.

As the bus finally stopped Rook and Mira landed safely on their feet while I landed on my back which honestly wasn't that surprising since I had the most momentum and NRG wasn't light on his feet. The bus driver called out over a microphone installed on the bus "undertown market connect to the sewer line brownfield tunnels on the fair to sunken test. (I have no idea it's hard to make it out and the website I'm getting this from doesn't have subtitles)

After the bus opened up and some aliens walked off of it grumbling and the bus driver said "next stop gaseous gardens" and he started driving again leaving us covered in dust that had kicked up. Rook called after him "hey you do not have breaks" and as I transformed back I said "it'll come to him." I then turned around and saw that we were in a different part of the underground town and I said "I can't believe this place come on let's look around."

As I was putting a helmet thing on my head Rook said "I know I'm the new guy Bendude" and I cut him off and said "dude call me ben" in a way that anyone would normally think I was implying they were stupid. Rook however didn't catch on and said in the same speed I was talking but in a normal tone "ben shouldn't we go after those lowlifes."

I ignored that question and asked "how long do you suppose there's been an undertown" and Rook said "probably since Earth became an open system but Ben" and I interrupted him "I know you're going to say something official and plumbery." He replied "yes Ben" but I just walked away and there was a vendor calling out "tentacles on a stick so fresh they grab you."

I said under my breath "I'm finally that hungry" and then to the vendor "give me one of those" and he asked "with suckers without suckers" and I said in an uncertain voice "with." Rook got in front of me and said to him while flashing his badge "excuse me we're plumbers working a case have you seen a group of bipedal lowlifes run through here one cyanic."

He said "what no I don't know nothing I don't seen nothing" and he closed his shop really quickly and got on the front which seemed made it seem like a vehicle. It started hovering and I said "hey what about my tentacle" and he said "I don't know anything about it" and I said "you were going to sell me" and he cut me off "I don't sell nothing I ain't even here red spot plumber.

I said "dude why did you have to flash your badge" and Rook said "I was interrogating a witness but I may have misjudged." With the tone of his voice, I decided to let it go and said "don't stress I'm the one who skipped breakfast." Rook said "this is my first time away from home when I first became a plumber, I was assigned to my home planet Revonnah.

The most exciting thing to do there is keep the rodents out of the grain silos" and I said "you learned to fight like that protecting alien wheat." Rook said "on Revonnah the rodents run rather large" and Mira spoke up "how large are we talking here" and Rook said "if they were to stand on just their hind legs they would be about as tall as Ben."

Mira then said "okay it's official no offense Rook I'm sure your home planet is beautiful but I'm never going there because I'm not use to dealing with rats that are as large as me and Ben in height." Rook then said "I really do think we should continue looking for the lowlifes" and I said "relax pretty soon the big bad will say Ben Tennyson here to ruin my plan and then you're lowlifes will come looking for us."

Mira then added on "honestly if I had just joined this group I would be surprised how accurate that actually is Rook." He then walked up to a young stinkfly holding a balloon and said "excuse me we're plumbers working a case may I ask you a few questions." I then said "knock yourself out I got to find something to eat" and as I was passing by them a vendor was selling tube socks.

After walking for a little while longer something caught my attention, a vendor calling out "Smoothie's get your prozonian smoothies." As I walked up to him a guy handed him what looked like a coin made out of Taydenite and he coughed up a large purple orb and stuck a straw in it and handed it to the customer and said "there you are sir."

I looked up at him and said "is that safe to eat for me I mean" and the guy got to my eye level and said "hey listen ape" just as a stand or two was smashed apart. As the dust settled it was revealed to be another creature that had about as much ability to plan a strategy as the other creature who attacked us before we met Rook had.

It started charging at me while jumping from one stand to another before landing on one right in front of me and then jumping down to the ground. Mira transformed into her main Satan soul form while I backed up and it growled at me as my back was against a stand with it baring it's teeth at me." As it was about to pounce at me I barely managed to roll out of the way as it destroyed a stand and Mira shot it back away with a dark eraser.

She then said "transform" before flying after it and punching it while dodging it's attacks at her and I activated the Omnitrix and selected Humungosaur's head icon before letting the holowheel go and revealing the core of the Omnitrix. I slammed the core down and started charging at the creature that was attacking only to be knocked back by it's tail.

I looked over at some broken glass and saw that instead of Humungosaur the Omnitrix had transformed me into Waterhazard and I groaned "oh Waterhazard why can't I ever get Humungosaur. Just then the creature actually tackled me to the ground and was holding me down however I shot it with water just to get it off of me.

Rook grabbed his proto-tool off his shoulder and said "Allow me to" but I held out a hand in front of his shot and said "we got this." I shot more water at it which it dodged my blast and jumped on top of me before using me as a springboard and landing further down the street. As both Mira and myself were struggling to hold this creature in place I looked over at Rook and said "why are you just standing there" and Mira while struggling to hold onto the creature on one said look at me and said "seriously."

Rook said "you got this I would not want to interfere" and I said "no it's cool interfere" just as the creature got lose of our hold and slammed us down into the ground on our backs. Rook then readied his proto-tool and shot what could have been a tripwire but used it as muzzle on the creature. As he walked up to us, I said "nice shot" however the creature easily managed to break it before leaping up into the air and landing on a fruit stand.

It looked at Mira and myself and then Rook before deciding to go after Rook and before it could even get close enough to bite him or whatever both Mira and myself grabbed it's tail. After a moment it flung both Mira and I off it's tail before covering the area in a yellow cloud that it disappeared in. as we walked closer to Rook I transformed back and Mira dropped her transformation and I said "whoever sent that monster to kill me he's the big bad see how this works uh which way did it go."

Rook said "not to worry Ben and Mira while you two were looking for food my investigation turned up a lead" and in an uncertain voice I said "of course it did." After walking through a less fortunate side of undertown we ended up front of a building called the gas house and I sarcastically said "let me guess the balloon squealed."

Rook said "I was told this is where that cyanic biped could be found this time of day" and I said "bubble helmet in here" and I went up to a window. Someone who I assumed worked there said "use the service entrance" and I said to Rook "I hope you're okay waiting outside that's poisonous gas in there." Mira transformed into her main Satan soul form which I knew from what she told me had poison resistance.

Rook had put a breathing mask over his mouth and nose and said "ready" and he kicked the doors open and held his badge up and said "appendages in the air." It seemed like most of them ignored him but a few did as he was hold only raising a few of their appendages into the air while they focused on something else.

As I started walking in I transformed into Terraspin and said to Rook "would you cool it with the badge we're not cops" and I then used Terraspin's powers to remove all the gas from the area. I then said to him "well you might be a cop but I'm a superhero" and Rook saw him "there he is" and pointed him out and the guy we were chasing started making a break for the glass helmet he had on outside of this area.

As I got in his way I grabbed the glass thing that he had over his face and threw it over his head to rook and said "nice hangout you got here great atmosphere." He then fell to his knees wheezing and I said "so whose behind those shakedowns" and he gasped out "I'll tell you as soon as I can breathe." I saw right through that but Rook did not as he put the helmet on him and said "that's a fair bargain" and I tried to warn him however it was too late.

The guy turned one of the knobs on his suit and the inside of the done became blue again and he took off with what looked like a jetpack. I turned my limbs into the fan blades that this species can do and started taking off after him while Rook hopped on and Mira was flying over us so as to avoid being hit with the fan blades.

I said to Rook "you've never dealt with actually bad guys before have you" and he said "I've read about them in book and I've trained extensively." Mira then chimed in "books and training are all good and fine but there's not real substitute for experience." Rook then said "do not lose him this time this rodent will lead us right back to the nest" and the guy we were chasing went faster most likely trying to lose us.

As we were getting closer to him I heard yell out most likely alerting the guards of where he was leading "Ben 10 they're after me boss." Rook then jumped off of me and tackled bubble helmet to the ground where he slid across the concrete of this area and caused sparks to come up and Rook said "we had a deal" while punching the helmet.

I looked ahead of where Rook was focusing and I saw a while bunch of thugs with blasters at the ready and I said "Rook hands up" and as he looked up he only said "oh" before putting his hands up. I transformed back due to the Omnitrix timing out and Mira then dropped her takeover and did the same as bubblehead got up and started heading deeper into the crowd.

I whispered to Rook and Mira "check it out a boatload of those shakedown machines which means a boatload of shakedown." Rook asked for clarification "that is quite a lot" and Mira said "definitely enough to take out the whole city." As we got done whispering a guy cloaked in shadows on a balcony said "ben Tennyson come to ruin my plan I think not" and he leaned forward enough to reveal it was Psyphon, Vilgax's old lackey.

I said in disbelief "Psyphon" and Rook smirked and said "looks like my investigation led us right to your big bad." I stepped forward and said "Psyphon you're the one whose been jacking up all the stores in Bellwood you were always Vilgax's third toughest lackey." He retorted "it seems you have underestimated me" and Mira also stepped forward and said "I mean really who doesn't underestimate a lackey."

Psyphon then address bubblehead and said "you lead Ben Tennyson and his troublesome girlfriend I don't know whether to thank you or eviscerate you." Bubble helmet coyly said "thank me" before Psyphon blasted him with a wrist laser blaster and said "thank you." Psyphon then turned his attention back to us and said "you must have wondered what ever became of me Ben Tennyson."

I responded "not even a little bit" and he said "of course you still think of me as a servant but now I am master so you cannot imagine the joy I get out of saying this get them boys." As the guys started shooting at us Mira, Rook, and I got out of the way and Rook took cover behind one of the shakedown machines.

Mira and I went into an abandoned train car and I activated the Omnitrix and said "come on work for once" and I transformed into Armodrillo while Mira did her main Satan soul takeover and as the guys came in I pushed them out with my jackhammer hands. As we were taking down some of the shakedown machines Rook said "Ben behind you" and an alien that looked like a jacked pig shot me in the back.

I then threw one of the shakedown machines at him and then burst through the train car and I knocked a few people aside and then said "show what you got dear" and she responded "happily" and she formed an orb of dark energy in her hands and called out "Evil shower." This spell caused the orb to shoot forward at a blinding speed before spreading apart and hitting the people with little bullets of darkness along with blowing up some of the shakedown machines with little damage since they weren't armed yet."

We charged forward toward the ones who were still standing and I said "break it up people" and Mira finished "or let us break it up for you." Rook then blasted a shelf looking thing that three aliens were under and it caused them to be pinned to the ground. Rook said to them "forgive I don't have a witty remark" and I said "don't force it let the wisecrack come to you" and that bit of wisdom I gave him was rewarded with being knocked far back by one of the shakedown machines curtousy of Psyphon.

He then charged me and hit me with another one which this time sent me through the wall and down into the market area of undertown that hadn't been attacked by the mindless creature. I flew down toward us and said "did you think I would be unprepared" and he shot my arm with a red bean that caused to gain mass and grow all veiny.

He then threw a few orbs at Mira's feet and they electrocuted her until she was forced to drop the takeover at which point the electricity stopped. Psyphon said "as long as you stay in the form you're in now those won't electrocute you anymore however that leaves you vulnerable" and he smacked her across the face hard enough to send her into a wall.

I tried to run over to Mira to see if she was okay but the now veiny and enlarged arm of mine was throwing me all over the place and I said "what happening." Psyphon said "my excitor beam has overloaded your nervous system" and I said "someone is going to get hurt." Psyphon retorted "only by you hero" and I looked around and saw there was an electrical box nearby.

I then ran to it and slammed my enlarged arm into it which electrocuted me and I touched the Omnitrix dial and transformed back with a little bit of a twitching feeling. Psyphon floated over me and said "that unpleasant twitchy feeling is only temporary but I have so many more sensations to show you." A voice from the crowd said "ah look out" and Psyphon looked back to see the creature that had attacked us here in undertown a little while ago.

As the creature was charging it expelled the yellow cloud that enveloped me before I walked through it although the creature had almost tackled me. I then ran up to a wall and held onto it catch my breath only for the creature to roar at me and I said "for fucks sake Psyphon call your dog off." He said "it's not mine" and the creature rounded on him and Psyphon started running away.

Rook burst through some wood above me and went after Psyphon and this dog turned it's full attention back to me. As it charged at me I quickly activated the Omnitrix without even looking at the head and slammed the core down and transformed into Shocksquatch. I then shot electricity at the dog which didn't seem to harm it that much as it got right back up and I said "Shocksquatch okay eh."

The creature tried to pounce on me but I managed to hit it with electricity before it fully landed and that flipped it over behind me. I then brought a double axe strike to the creatures head powered with electricity and then punched it 4 times hard enough that we eventually fell through the floor into a train tunnel.

As I was just barely able to hold the dog back I saw light coming at me and saw that it was the bus that had been damaged by me as NRG earlier in the day and I said "no breaks." I held the dog's head up more and the bus slammed into it however that didn't do much as the dog then jumped over the top of the bus and landed right in front of me.

As the dog was staring me down I noticed a tunnel that had a ladder that I could climb so we charged at each other and I jumped over the dog at the last moment and started climbing. As I got up near the top of the tunnel the dog had been coming after me and I said "metal all around just got to get him in the middle" and after it climbed a bit more I shot a massive electricity from my mouth at it which made it a charred dog now.

As I transformed back Mira had made her way down the hole that I had landed in and Rook was standing there with Psyphon and said "Ben I made a wisecrack." The dog however created another yellow cloud and disappeared and Rook said "gone" and Mira said "well if that dog thing wasn't Psyphon's then I'd assume it's more than likely we'll run into it again sometime soon."

As the plumbers had come and arrested the three we were chasing earlier along with Psyphon he said "I'm telling you I have no idea what that creature was" and magister Patelliday responded "tell it to the arbiter transports topside." Grandpa while watching asked "so how did you two like your new partner" and I responded "he fights okay kind of a donut hole thought."

Rook who was right behind us asked "is that good" and I said "oh sure" and then said to Grandpa "see" and Grandpa said "well Ben you and Mira have been doing this for a while now maybe it's someone else's turn to be the donut hole." Rook then said "I know you haven't eaten yet" and he held up a bag from burger shake and said "Magister Tennyson says you prefer these Chili fries care to join me."

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over the events of the episode of Ben 10 Omniverse titled a jolt from the past. I know I left out the parts of Rook fighting Psyphon but I didn't feel like changing P.O.V's every 2 sentences if not less than that.
