1. Prelude

Before I share chapter one with you all, I wanted to provide some context behind my motivations for embarking on this project. You see, I read a lot of Marvel academic books, and I often find myself frustrated when the stories either come to an abrupt halt or take a direction that doesn't align with my personal preferences. It is precisely this dissatisfaction that has fueled my desire to create something that I would truly love to read.

I want to emphasize that I am open to constructive criticism and feedback, as I believe it is essential for my growth as a writer. I am committed to learning from such input and using it to improve my craft. However, it's important to note that this endeavour stems from a genuine passion for the concept, inspired by the remarkable artist DuckLordEthan. My ultimate goal is to provide an enjoyable reading experience for everyone who joins me on this journey.

So, with excitement and anticipation, I invite you all to delve into this story. My hope is that you'll have a fantastic time immersing yourselves in the world I've tried to create, just as I would if I were the reader.

Before we dive into the next chapter, I'd like to address a few changes that I've made to the story. Now, if you're not keen on spoilers, I recommend skipping to the upcoming chapter, which will be available shortly.

First and foremost, I've introduced a new element inspired by DuckLordEthan's work: Wanda, Pietro, and Peter being childhood friends. It adds an intriguing dynamic to their relationships and enhances their character development.

Now, here's a big one: Peter won't acquire the "one for all" power. It's something that I've decided to steer clear of, as it's something that often bothers me when I come across it in my readings.

Another aspect I've aimed to tackle is Flash's character. I wanted to portray him as a bit of a douche, while also staying true to his comic book counterpart or even the version we saw in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (TASM1) where he had a good side. I believe this duality adds depth to his character and keeps things interesting. But like 90 per cent of the time he will still be the same douche

Lastly, the initial 5-6 chapters will primarily focus on the characters' school lives before going to MA and the gradual development of the world they inhabit.

So, with these changes in mind, let's continue our journey, as we delve further into the story and witness the growth and evolution of our beloved characters.
