After requiring the info about the new threat from Red Sonja, Wendy took her new sword and headed home being on the lookout for trolls and other evil magical creatures. Thankfully there was none and Wendy made it home safely. Wendy made it to her room, changed into her pajamas, laid the sword next to her bed, got into bed, and went to sleep.

The next thing Mabel knew she found herself sitting at the bar Greasy's Diner in her normal clothes and sitting next to her sipping a tall mug of beer was Red Sonja herself in her battle gear.

"Um...what's going on?" Asked Wendy.

"You are currently sleeping and we're in your dreamscape. I just chose a place from your memories you would be comfortable with to start your training." Said Red Sonja.

"Ok got it. I just have one question." Said Wendy.

"And that's?" Asked Red Sonja.

"Why do you dress the way you do? Isn't that outfit inviting men to come and try to have their way with you?" Asked Wendy.

"I am using my body as bait to attract those who would force themselves onto women. Like a siren using their singing voice to lure sailors to their death. I am calling evil lusty men to me, so I may slay them with my blade." Said Red Sonja with a hint of a mischievous smile.

"Ok... I think I understand." Said Wendy.

"Good. Now let's start your training. I want to you to think about people you would have no problem with striking down with your fists. This is a dream so you can pick whoever you want." Said Red Sonja.

Wendy imagined a half dozen members of the Discount Auto Mart Warriors along with Blind Ivan the former leader of the Blind Eye Society.

"I'm going to enjoy this." Said Wendy as she stood and cracked her knuckles.

"One little change." Said Red Sonja as she snapped her fingers.

Wendy found herself being taller and wearing clothes like Red Sonja. Wendy's cheeks flushed red in embarrassment at the clothes, but then she remembered she was in a dream and none of the men were actually real. She shook her head and rushed at the men and punched one of warriors in the face knocking him to the ground. Wendy then delivered a kick to the groin of another warrior making him fall to the ground in pain grasping his wounded manhood. The red haired warrior only had a second to enjoy her victory before one of the other warriors punched her in the face and another kicked her in the back sending her to the ground and skidding back to where Red Sonja still sat.

"What was that?" Asked Wendy as she stumbled to her feet.

"That was to remind you not to get cocky and to keep your eyes on your opponents. Now focus. You need to be aware of your opponents whereabouts, don't just rush into the middle of them unless you have a plan. Also be aware of your surroundings and what you have on hand. Any object can be used to help you in battle." Said Red Sonja.

Wendy glanced at the counter and saw a stack of plates, which gave her an idea. She grabbed the plates and began to toss them at Blind Ivan and the warriors making them reel back and yell in pain. One warrior took a direct blow to his forehead and collapsed to the ground unconscious. Wendy saw a glass pitcher of orange juice and grabbed it. She charged at the men and tossed the orange juice into one man's face before smashing the pitcher into the head of another man knocking him out. Wendy grabbed the man she splashed with orange juice and slammed his head into a nearby table knocking him out. One of the warriors grabbed Wendy from behind and another tried to attack her, but Wendy kicked him in the gut causing him to double over before slamming her head into the man that was restraining her breaking his nose and forcing him to let go and collapse to the ground. Wendy punched the warrior she had kicked in the gut, in the face knocking him out. Blind Ivan and the remaining warrior both lunged at Wendy, but she sidestepped the two of them and slammed their heads together knocking them both out.

"Not bad. That's all for this lesson. Now I'll let you get back to your normal dreams." Said Red Sonja as she finished her beer.

"Thanks." Said Wendy.

The diner vanished and Wendy dreamed that she was at a concert with her friends.

To be continued.
