Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prideful Plains. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Lion King; Disney and a few others do.

Vitani glanced at Akida who growled and looked at her. There was a lot more in his interest. A lot more had been done and dealt with her. This had become a harder burden to bear than she expected.

She grinned, her fang-like teeth poking through the edge of her face. She had been interested in what was coming at the time. He had been interested in what was coming as much as she was.

The war was coming. He was going to burn if he didn't fight and it was a face, he was aware of. This war wouldn't end any other way than with bloodshed, he had to see that coming sooner or later.

Then again, it seemed as if nobody could see what was coming. It was going to be a lot harder for her to convince him as she wanted if this plan didn't go exactly the way she wanted. She was honestly curious as to what to do next. She was going to end this when it came down to it.

He rubbed at the bridge of his nose, his claws only slightly peeking out from his face. It had made him interested in what to do next.

"There's not a lot of people when it comes down to it. We're both going to fight sooner rather than later." Vitani stated before Akida could only roll his eyes. "You already know that this is going to be interesting. You already know this war is coming, don't you, Ki?" Vitani said with a smirk.

He could sigh, but it made him roll his eyes at her. He leaned back on the ground before tilting his head to the side. The woman was honestly making him scream inside. She had a point, but she was just going to keep trying to force it into his mind. This could only end sooner or later.

He sighed and put a paw to his snout while he rubbed at the grass, angered at this. She had been pushing him. He was honestly going to smile if she snapped in half. This had been a hard thing to comprehend.

"Hmm. What are you going to do if this war breaks down? That whole plan about starting a war? It's going to be interesting." Akida said while he drummed his fingers on the floor. "It ain't going to work. There's no blasted way the Pridelands and your mom will go to war with each other, it'd destroy everything too." Akida stated before he rolled his side.

He glanced at her while he seemed to ponder what to do next. This wasn't going to end well at the time.

Well, he was going to be interested either way. She had some sort of plan either way. He was going to smile if her plan fell apart, it couldn't work. He knew there was no way the sly lioness would do anything.

"Nope," Vitani stated to him.

He only rolled his eyes. The idea of agreeing with her was stupid. It was childish even if he expected it to amount to anything. He'd be a lot more interesting as of the time while he sighed to himself before it came down to it.

He was going to be more interesting when it came down to it. he sighed before he hummed to her. He clicked at her before he tilted his head while he sighed to himself.

Vitani only rolled her eyes at her before she smiled to herself before she clicked her tongue at him. He'd be a lot more interesting at the second while he rolled his eyes.

There was more to this, more to her. He'd find it to be more interesting if she hadn't tried to kill him at the second. This was going to make him sigh and scream if not for the fact that she'd be it came down to it. there was a lot more on the second before he sighed to himself. He clicked his tongue before he rubbed at his head, looking at her with a curse as he did so. He didn't feel like dealing with this, but he would if he had to. She was the only person who seemed to know to this degree. While she tilted her head on the time.

"We're going to be doing this over and over before too long, Akida. Over and over and over until we both drop dead. There's no way out of this, no way to end it. We don't know how to stop this and there's no way I'm going to stop trying to fight." Vitani said while she sighed.

Akida hummed to himself before he shook his head to the side. He could only question what to do next as of the second. She was a lot more insane when it came down to it, she was bloodthirsty, she was ruthless, she wanted him to suffer and it was clear that she'd eat him alive if he didn't mind her as an enemy. It'd be sobering if he didn't also yawn, tired and exhausted from their battle.

He sighed to himself and closed his eyes as if he hummed before running his paws over his face and clicking his tongue before he shook his head. He'd be a lot more interested in what she'd do if she hadn't been trying to kill people like him. He rolled his eyes and leaned back into the mud while he clicked his tongue.

"Then I'll win when it comes down to it. there's a lot more going on than this fight when it comes down to it." Akida said before he hummed to himself before he sighed to himself as of the time.

Still? There was a lot more to question about what to do next. There were more plans when it came down to it as he sighed to himself. He tilted his head as he crossed his arms across his chest. There was a lot more on his mind.

Vitani snickered, finding enjoyment in this, in the fact that he acted as if he was above this when he wasn't. She knew part of him wanted to fight, to keep going. Their battles that had been fun that had been going and going, dragging them all over the Pridelands. She hadn't seen an end to this sooner or later. The fact that there had been more to him, more that he had been trying to bury as of the time.

She tilted her head while she clicked her nails on the floor before humming to herself.

"We're going to keep fighting whether you want to fight or not. The fight is going to come to you one way or another. The only difference is how, Akida." Vitani stated which made him sigh and shake his head as he questioned just what he'd say.

'Oh, does she find new ways to drive me up a blasted wall, even if I want to scream? I'll find a way to pay her back sooner or later. There's only so much I can do or say to stop her from messing with me and I'm not doing it all over again like this. Does she want to play? I'll play rough.' Akida thought to himself with a sigh as he realized he had to go through this.

He could do nothing more than sigh as he hummed to himself. There was so much that he couldn't at all understand. The idea that he could fathom it at all was as terrifying as anything else, it rocked him to his core.

Still? He was lying to himself. He couldn't deny there was a small edge to himself. He was lying to himself about the idea that this had slowly started to seep into his mind at the second.

He hummed to himself as he sighed and seemed to accept the idea that this had been slowly falling apart.

"Sometimes I despise you for despising this peace so much. What's wrong with peace? We don't get it as often as you seem to think." Akida said before Vitani rolled her eyes at him.

She knew he wasn't even; she knew part of him wanted so badly to be. Yet he was at least honest about the idea that they couldn't go to war so easily. The peace between them was something many lions saw as a good thing; it wouldn't last any longer than the hatred that was within them.

This had to end sooner or later… But not before they beat the lions for control of the Pridelands. Not before Simba was but a distant memory, not before Kovu was left in charge of all the lions and Pridelands as Scar wished.

She'd accept peace when they had won the war and when they had no reason to war with anyone and their power was consolidated.

She sighed as she realized Akida was waiting for an answer. One which she couldn't entirely object with. She knew just the one at the time.

"Look at how much fun we've had, Akida. Look at what we've done since then, you're telling me you'd give all this up just for some peace? For something that won't last? Something where we can't fight? You want that?" Vitani stated as Akida rolled his eyes.

"Every time we meet? We fight, every time we encounter one another? There's a brawl. You might be my friend… Barely." Akida said before he pointed a claw at her with annoyance. "But you're not as much my friend as a sparring partner and you don't want to be anything else. There's not much I can do to protect you if you don't want to be anything more than another enemy I need to fight." Akida said before Vitani rolled her eyes and pushed herself to her paws.

Such a sad idea. Such one which couldn't entirely plan what to do next. It had been something that had to end sooner or later. It was going to be fun when it came down to it. There was going to be so much destruction at the second. So much was going to go wrong and he could feel it.

She craved the chaos. The battle, the blood that would be spilled one way or another. Her name meant war as he knew, but he almost entirely knew that could be saved one way or another.

He rolled his eyes at this garbage, at the idea that all she was had to be bloodlust. It couldn't all be that. He'd find a way this ended without killing everyone around them.

'The Pridelands isn't going to burn anytime soon. I'm not going to let this end with so much blood spilled either. This isn't how the story is going to end either. Not if I'm around to say anything, and I'm not going to let her die either. Not with anything on her part at least.' Akida stated to himself.

He sighed to himself as he questioned what to do next and how best to stop her. There had to be a way to reach through this and stop this sometime soon. It has to end without someone stopping as of the time.

Yet he also knew there would be risks. When wasn't there? When wasn't there something that had to end?

He sighed to himself before realizing how horrible the second the time. There was more to do, more to plan for and try and find out a good answer.

Still could be ok.
