Unknown Warring States-like World
The story opens at a crystal-blue lake called Lake Touya(which oddly shares the same name as Gintoki Sakata's personal weapon) and its surrounded by a luscious emerald-colored forest, and currently underneath a large tree, we see five figures sitting on separated logs.
The first figure is a young woman with an average height, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had a black knee-length hime-cut hair with orange flapjack-like forelocks and she had dark blue-colored eyes. She had a pair of hippo-like ears on the top of her head, an orange crown-like headband above her bangs and a large orange-colored halo at the back of her head. She wears a black detached collar with an orange-colored eye symbol and white furs, she wears a black shoulderless dress with a big triangular window round, four purple-colored cube-shaped ribbons on the side and black diamond-shaped pattern over a short pleated orange mini-skirt. She had a small pair of angel wings curled around her waist, she wears a white thigh-high stocking on her left leg and a detached sleeve with a ribbon on her left arm, and wears a pair of purple & black wooden sandals on both sides. Her most notable feature are the number of large dark purple-colored tentacles with orange cups on her back. This is Ina'nis Ninomae.
The second figure is a young woman with a tall stature, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had a semi-long messy orange hair with bluish-green highlights and a pair of bluish-green feather-like forelocks, and she had violet-colored eyes. She wears a green ribbon wrapped around her neck, she wears an orange sleeveless-buttoned vest over a white sleeveless shirt with folded white collar and a black strapped top, she wears an orange office skirt and a black belt with a dark-blue Kamer Rider-esque buckle is wrapped around her waist, she wears a white thigh-high socks with soft edges, a pair of white loose-detached sleeves with black & orange garter-cuffs and a pair of black & orange high-cut shoes with purple linings. She wears an orange beret with a star-spangled black band and ribbon, and a small white toque hat with a dark-blue ribbon. This is Kiara Takanashi.
The third figure is a young woman with a tall stature, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had a waist-length pink hair with a black tiara on top of her head and she had red-colored eyes. She wears a white transparent veil over her head and black detached collar with a clover-shaped bib and red diamond-shaped brooch, she wears a black tattered hooded cape with fang-like spikes over a black strapped calf-length gown with brown buttons, linings, accents, runes and a slit side, and a gray-colored belt wrapped around her waist. On both arms, she wears a pair of golden-colored arm rings and on her left arm is covered with a black transparent detached sleeve with golden-colored linings and runes, and her right arm wears a black wristband. On her left leg, she wears a dark-brown thigh-high sock with golden-colored bands and on both of her calves and feet, she wears a golden-colored calf-buckles and slip shoes. This is Calliope Mori.
The fourth figure is a young woman with a short stature, she had a petite frame and a fair complexion, she had a white semi-long hair with blue highlights and is tied in short pigtails on each side by a red & blue hairclips, she had blue-colored eyes and she had shark-like teeth. She wears an oversized jacket with white faded accents, white hoodie, a red "mouth" with sharp teeth, black lines with stitches and a pair of blue & white pockets over a gray mesh top, she wears a pair of white sneakers with black soles and blue socks. She had a large shark tail on her back. This is Gura Gawr.
The fifth figure is a young woman with an average height, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had shoulder-length blonde hair held by golden-colored monocle-shaped hairclip and she had blue-colored eyes. She wears a light-brown coachman's cape with yellow runes and red belts over a white long-sleeved collared shirt with a red necktie, she wears a brown high-waist pleated skirt, she wears a black garter belt on her right upper thigh that helds several items, she wears a pair of black thigh-high socks with black bands and a pair of brown loafers with black shoelaces. She had a golden-colored watch on the middle of skirt, she had a stetoscope dangling around her neck and she wears a brown deerstalker on top of her head. This is Amelia Watson.
Gura then stood up from the log she was sitting at before making a dash towards the lake, "YAHOO!" she cheered before making a big splash on the water.
"Don't go swimming too far, Gura!" Kiara called out.
"Yeah, yeah~" Gura replied off-screen.
"I'll admit that this place is pretty mesmerizing." Mori admitted, "If it weren't for the fact that this place is filled with monsters, I could be sitting here comfortably while having a drink." she stated.
"Yeah." Ina uttered in agreement, "I would too love to relax in a place like this but because of the threat of the monsters, I had no choice but to be weary." she stated before taking notice of Amelia whom is in deep thoughts, "Ame, what's wrong?" the tako priestess asked.
"I've been trying to figure out about our current situation." Amelia replied, "Who is behind this mess? Why are they doing this? What do they gain from this?" she listed off, "So many questions and yet no concrete answers." she pointed out, "This is quite a mystery..." she uttered, "... and it's keeping me up all night." she said.
Kiara facefaulted, "Ame, you just found out about this a while ago." she reminded.
"Oh, right." Amelia uttered in realization.
"I'm worried about the others." Ina uttered in concern, "They were with us when that bright light caught us." she pointed out, "I wonder if they're also in this world." she thought out loud.
"I'm worried about them, too." Mori expressed in agreement, "But they'll be okay, they can take care of themselves." she reassured when Aqua, Pekora and Watame came to mind, "Well..." she trailed, "... most of them can take care of themselves." the rapping reaper corrected.
"By the way..." Kiara uttered, "... the guys that saved us?" she reminded, "They're grim reapers, right?" she pointed out before turning to Mori, "How come you look different from them?" the orange head asked.
"Well, I'm still an indie." Mori answered.
"Wait, there are indies and pros?" Amelia questioned in disbelief.
"Speaking of those guys..." Ina uttered out loud, "... where are they right now?" she asked.
"They decided to look around this area and at the same time, they're going to make contact with their comrades." Mori explained in response, "And with how big this area is, I assume that it's taking their time." she assumed.
"Oi!" a voice called out.
"I stand corrected." Mori corrected herself.
The girls then turns around to see Ikkaku Madarame, Yumichika Ayasegawa and another figure walking towards them.
The figure is a young man with a wild and aggressive appearance, he had a very tall stature and a muscular build, he has a long face with pronounced cheekbones, and hairless brow ridges, he had green-colored eyes and had a long-stringy black hair with bells on the tips and his most noticeable trait is the long & thin scar running down the left side of his face and across his left eye. He wears a white sleeveless tattered haori over a black gii & a white gii alongside white bandages wrapped around his midsection, he wears a white sash wrapped around his waist, black baggy hakama pants, white socks and brown sandals. This is Kenpachi Zaraki.
"Madarame-san, Ayasegawa-san, Zaraki-san." Ina greeted, "Welcome back." she expressed.
"You guys found anything in your search?" Amelia inquired.
Ikkaku shook his head, "Nothing much." he answered, "We did contacted some of our comrades and will be meeting with us here." he shared.
Kiara looks around and noticed that someone is missing, "Hey..." she uttered out loud, "... where is your lieutenant?" she asked.
"Oh, she got stomache, so we sent her back to our base for the time being." Kenpachi answered.
"Eh?" Ina uttered in surprise, "What happened?" she asked.
"She ate some mushroom in the forest." Kenpachi answered, "We've confirmed that it's poisonous but for some reason, she still decided to eat it." he explained before letting out a sigh, "She then felt pain in her stomache afterwards." he concluded.
"We tried to stop her but eat away she does." Yumichika stated, "Was she suffering from hallucination and thought it was candy or something?" he assumed.
"No, I think it's because she thought that it's taste great, so she decided to eat it." Kenpachi replied.
"What kind of mushroom did she ate anyway?" Mori inquired.
"The Destroying Angel." Ikkaku, Yumichika and Kenpachi answered at the same time.
Mori facefaulted, "I hope you guys had great doctors in your base." she replied.
"Ikkaku-san! Zaraki-san!" a voice called out.
Everyone then turns around to see Asuna Yuuki, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, Flynn Scifo, Heishiro Mitsurugi, Hinata Hyuuga, Jin, Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya, Kenshin Himura, Marth, Mugen, Sakura Haruno, Sanosuke Sagara, Shiina, Souji Okita, Taki, Teresa of the Faint Smile, Yuri Lowell and Yuu Kanda walking towards them.
Kenpachi grinned in response, "Our comrades has arrived." he mused.
After meeting up with each other alongside the girls(sans Gura whom is still swimming in the lake) introducing themselves at the same time, everyone decided to have a discussion underneath a large tree.
"So, this is Lake Touya." Hinata uttered in awe, "It's so beautiful." she commented.
"I'm still baffled that it's name after Ginpachi-sensei's sword." Sakura admitted in disbelief.
"Yeah." Asuna replied in agreement.
"Have you rescued anyone so far?" Kenpachi inquired.
"Indeed, we have." Kenshin confirmed, "Four of them we're sent back to the AWA Academy while Sir Marth decided to stick around and help us." he explained with the aforementioned swordsman nodding in response, Kenshin then turns his attention towards Mori and the girls, "And I assume these girls are victims of the bright light." he pointed out.
"Yup!" Ikkaku quipped in confirmation, "Hope you guys don't mind a girl with giant tentacles behind her back..." he mused with a grin, "... and hope you guys don't mind a girl with shark attributes." he added.
"Speaking of which..." Yumichika trailed, "... where is that little gremlin that likes to bite others?" he questioned.
"KYAAAAAAHH!" everyone then heard a loud scream.
Everyone then turns around to see Gura swimming in comical speed while being chased after by a group of Crab Knights, Gura kept on swimming until she reached dry land and made a beeline towards everyone, jumping on Amelia's back while at it.
"UWAAAAAHH!" Gura cried rather comically while shaking Amelia back and forth, "Save me! Save me! Save me!" the shark girl wailed in panic.
"You're already on dry land, Gura!" Amelia pointed out, "And get off of me!" she demanded, "Woah!" she yelped before falling down to the ground alongside Gura.
"Crab Knights?" Teresa uttered out loud, "What are they doing in a lake?" she questioned.
"My guess that these Crab Knights are different from the others." Jin assumed, "Or there are two types of Crab Knights: one that lives in the sea and the others lives in fresh water." he added.
"That would make sense." Souji acknowledged.
"Guess we'll have to beat these shits up?" Mugen assumed with a grin.
"Better than letting them all run amok." Flynn replied in agreement.
Heishiro then draws out his blade, "Then let us take these things down!" he beckoned.
And with that, everyone charges towards the Crab Knights and another clash ensues, and at the same time, Gura and the others went to hide behind the large trees.

Ikkaku grabs a Crab Knight and stabs at their head with Hozukimaru but only for the foe to dodge by moving their head to the side, he then smirks as Hozukimaru splits apart with its chains wrapping around the foe's neck as the blade comes around and slashes them across the chest. Ikkaku then splits Hozukimaru apart before repeatedly swinging it at the opponent to slash at them from a distance and ending by spinning its blade around by the chain and leaping at the foe for a falling slash.
Yumichika holds up Fuji Kujaku and makes feathers appear around him which then damages a group of Crab Knights, he then proceeds to do a 4-hit slashing attack at one Crab Knight, slicing it to pieces on the process. Yumichika then extends Fuji Kujaku and does an uppercut on one creature before sending out a horizontal vortex of feathers that damage another opponent.
Kenpachi grabs a Crab Knight and runs his Zanpakuto through their chest before lifting them into the air and swinging his sword to fling them off the blade, he then grips Nozarashi with both hands and does a downward slash while firing off a shockwave of spirit energy which blasted a group of creatures. Kenpachi then lunges another Crab Knight while doing a barrage of slashes with Nozarashi, ending with an outward slash that knocks his foe backwards.
Yuu swung his sword and releases a small swarm of supernatural creatures towards the Crab Knights which began to devour the latter, Yuu then charges towards another Crab Knight and slashed it eight times, killing it on the process. Then three Crab Knights jumps over him but Yuu responded by slashing his blade in a circular motions and struck all of them dead.
Asuna grabs a Crab Knight before stabbing them four times at high speeds and then knocks them away with a bash to the face from her rapier's hilt. Asuna then rushes towards another creature and hits them with a fierce barrage of stabs from her rapier, she then lunges upward while stabbing with her rapier before rushing downwards for a diving stab, killing another creature.
Kirito grabs a Crab Knight before lifting into the air while pulling back his hand and then jabbing it into their shoulder. Kirito then dashes forward and does a four-hit combo of slashes in the shape of a square towards a group of Crab Knights, he then rises into the air while spinning and slashing before descending downward for a falling slash from both blades, blasting another group of creatures off the ground.
Teresa kicks a Crab Knight into the air while tossing two daggers at them and then jumping into the air after them before sending them into the ground with a downward sword slash. Teresa then sheathes and draws her sword at high speeds while unleashing a fierce barrage of slashes on her opponent before finishing them off with a sword stab on the face.
Souji charges and attacked a group of Crab Knight by slashing one upwards, slashing another one downwards, jabbing a third one with the hilt of his blade and finishing the last one by slashing it twice on the chest. Souji then grabs a Crab Knight before slashing them three times across the chest and then kicking them away.
Marth grabs a Crab Knight while beating them with his sword's hilt and then slashing them across the chest before kicking them away, he then dodges a strike from another creature and he responded by doing a five-hit combo of slashes which took out his opponent. Marth then raises the Falchion to the sky before rushing at another Crab Knight for a forward thrust before following up with an arcing slash, taking out his target.
Estelle charges forward and knocks a Crab Knight into the air with her shield before thrusting it diagonally into them, she then rapidly thrusts at the enemy and then slamming into them with her shield. Estelle took a step back before performing a charging thrust and hits one Crab Knight, she then spins around and strikes low with a rainbow-colored attack, knocking down enemies and forcing downed enemies to stand.
Flynn attacks a Crab Knight with his sword before casting a blue glyph beneath the target and then summoning a pillar of light to strike them, he then struck the ground with his weapon while sending a powerful blast of energy upward which blasted away a group of creatures. Flynn then dashes through another creature before assaulting them with a glyph of glowing energy that lifts them into the air, blasting them on the process.
Yuri grabs a Crab Knight while repeatedly punching them in the gut and then ending by knocking them back with a punch to the face. Yuri slashes upward while ending a wave of blue wind at his targets and at the same time, he fires off two Azure Edge projectiles which blasted his targets on the process. Yuri then dashes forward a short distance while phasing through enemies and their attacks in the process, he then follow up by slashing the foe across the back, leaving them crumpled.
Taki kicks one Crab Knight down before performing a magical ninja spell in order to triple herself into three. Afterwards, all three Takis slashed their way through their target before jumping into the air to become one again, Taki then takes down the helpless opponent in one fatal strike on the back of it's head, killing it on the process.
Shiina drops down in front of Crab Knight and begun stabbing it across the chest with a kunai, she then took a step backwards before throwing several bombs towards her opponent which blasted it off the ground. Shiina then dashes forward and got behind another Crab Knight before stabbing it on the back and she then finishes it off by setting her opponent on fire with an explosive tag.
Jin dashes forward and quickly beheaded a Crab Knight with one slash across it's neck, he then turns his attention towards another Crab Knight and began unleashing a series of slash towards all over his opponent's body, dismembering the creature as a result. Mugen jumps in the air before stabbing another Crab Knight on the head, he then did a handstand before spinning around which slashed a group of Crab Knight on the process, he then landed neatly on the ground before slicing another Crab Knight across the chest.
Sakura charges towards a group of Crab Knights, "Chaa!" she shouted before punching the ground hard which decimated the pavement as the impact of her strike causes a chain reaction which then sends the creatures flying to the air. Hinata then thrusts her right palm forward and hits one Crab Knight right on the chest area and the impact is so strong, the creature is send crashing to a rock.
Heishiro does two thrusts forward before doing a second slash and then pulling his sword back a bit to deliver a downward strike that hits a Crab Knight overhead. He then charges up his sword before doing a slow but powerful upwards slash that knocks a Crab Knight into the air, energy then surges through his sword and then goes to deliver a downward slash which sends his opponent bouncing off the ground.
Kenshin draws his sword and took a kendo stance before he dashing towards a Crab Knight and upon impact, he simultaneously struck nine points on his opponents body at once before by stopping from behind them and sheathing his sword as his target fell to the ground in a crumpled state. Sanosuke jumps into the air and then lands his fist onto a Crab Knight's chest before crashing to the ground like a meteorite, he then finished his opponent off by stomping it's head hard.
BREAK OUT!
"Wooh!" Ikkaku breathed out in relief, "That takes care of 'em." mused.
Mori and the others then peek their heads out from their hiding spot, "Is it safe to come out?" the rapping reaper asked.
"It's safe!" Yumichika confirmed.
Afterwards, everyone decided to recuperate back underneath the large tree while having a discussion at the same time.
Gura breathed out a sigh of relief, "I'm so glad you guys defeated those things." she expressed, "I could take them on myself but I'm missing my trident." she stated.
"Me, too." Mori uttered in agreement, "If I just had my scythe with me, I could have take those creatures on as well." she stated, "But I lost it when we we're caught by that bright light." she pointed out.
"You lost it or it got left behind the office?" Kiara assumed.
"Both are possible." Mori acknowledged.
"You bring a scythe in your office?" Yumichika questioned in disbelief.
"Anyway..." Kenshin interrupted, "... since we've cleared this area free from Crab Knights, I suggest that we head towards the next location." he beckoned before turning to Sakura, "Any suggestions Haruno-san?" the scarred samurai inquired.
Sakura then checks the map on her tablet, "I suggest that we check the forest of Muramasha." she replied.
Sanosuke facefaulted, "Muramasha? Seriously?" he questioned in disbelief, "First Lake Touya and now that!" he listed off, "Is every places in this area named after things from Ginpachi-sensei and his friends' home world?!" he exclaimed in annoyance.
"Your question is as good as mine." Yuri replied.
Kenshin sighed, "Strange names aside, I think it's best that we head towards the aforementioned area and see if we can find victims of the bright light there alongside creatures of the Apostle to eliminate." he beckoned.
"Right." Taki uttered in agreement.
A few minutes later and after finding themselves fully-rested, everyone decided to make their way towards their next destination but unbeknownst to them, a strange figure is watching them from afar.

After reuniting with their friends, Angela Burton, Chika Oguie, Harunobu Madarame, Kanako Oono, Kanji Sasahara, Kenjirou Hato, Makoto Kousaka, Manabu Kuchiki, Mirei Yajima, Mitsunori Kugayama, Rika Yoshitake, Saki Kasukabe, Souichiro Tanaka and Susanna "Sue" Hopkins are gathered around by Yuuki Asaba and Hideyoshi Nagachika.
"As much as I like to sent you back to our world, I really can't do that at the moment." Yuuki admitted, "With the culprit behind this mess still at large, we theorized that they could repeat the same shenanigans, so we'll have guys stay in our main base for the time being." he explained.
"I see..." Harunobu uttered in acknowledgement, "Guess we had no choice but to wait until this mess is over." he conceded.
"So, what should we do now?" Saki asked.
"We'll be taking you all to the AWA Academy, so you can get some rest." Hideyoshi answered, "I'm pretty sure that you're all tired from all the things you've experienced so far." he pointed out.
Chika sighed in response, "We really do." she admitted.
Yuuki then pulls out a small device in hand before pressing a red-button and this is followed by a blue portal opening before them, much to everyone's awe and surprise, and afterwards everyone entered the portal and a few seconds later, the portal vanished without a trace.
