AN: As always, thanks for the comments and support!

InfinityMask - Yeah, Inko needs to learn who it is she's falling for soon.

heartfanglives - yes. It's a recent change, but I'm using the AN at the end for extra little scenes to show perspectives outside of Izuku/Ochako (who are the primary POV characters), even if some of them are told in a more humorous tone then the rest of the story.

Mugen-Muse - Iron Might actually sounds like it would be quite the interesting take on a post-OFA AM.

SwordOfTheGods - Sorry, there was some weird copy/paste issue from google docs to FFN for the author's notes, I'm not sure what happened there.

As for the other part of your statement, have you checked out my other story 'A Different Course?' There, I actually put Himiko in Class 2 like she should be given her age, and have spent a solid amount of time fleshing out the class with OCs. Including a certain American girl who happens to be Himiko's love interest.

Gran Torino stepped off the train at Tatooin Station and made his way through the crowds as he walked towards the local rail lines. As he walked, he double-checked his phone to make sure he had the right time from Mirai for the meeting of the AFO Task Force. A meeting he had suspiciously been omitted from.

With a frown, he boarded the local train bound for UA. Whatever the reason was for his omission, he would find out soon, one way or another. Since Mirai was being cagey on the phone, that meant that the truth was too sensitive to say over an open line. Unfortunately, Torino had spent enough time hunting villains whom the government would prefer keeping out of the public eye to know how this went, and so he was forced to wait.

When Torino arrived at UA, he saw Mirai waiting at the gate.

"Ah, Torino, right on time."

"Of course I am," Torino responded, "I know I'm not getting answers otherwise."

"We should get going then." Mirai offered a visitor's badge to Torino, who waved it away.

"No need, Nezu let me keep my teacher's ID, just in case I needed to visit."

"How thoughtful," Mirai remarked as his companion stepped through the gate, and they began walking towards the main building of UA.

"So you and Toshi are talking again?" Torino inquired.

"Surprisingly, yes. While we still have our philosophical differences about the future of Japan, there have been recent developments that have caused us to put aside our differences."

"I'm guessing those recent developments are why you called me here."

"Yes."

Torino sighed. "Well, I'm sure you'll explain all this secrecy soon. Let's get it over with."

The two walked in silence until they reached Nezu's office, where Mirai opened the door and allowed Torino to enter. As he walked in, he saw Nezu seated at his desk. Several chairs were arranged around the room, and Torino saw Toshinori and Naomasa sitting in two chairs, along with two kids he'd never seen before.

As expected, he got mixed reactions from the room. Toshinori immediately descended into a coughing fit, the blood visibly dripping around his hand as he tried to stop it, while Nezu looked at him with his usual blank stare. Naomasa didn't seem to react strongly either way, which made Torino wonder if Mirai had warned him ahead of time. And then there were the two kids. The green-haired boy looked uncomfortable as if he wanted to be anywhere else but here, while the brown-haired girl held a hand out to hold onto her companion's arm while she glared protectively at Torino.

"As you can see, I have called Gran Torino to the meeting," Mirai started as he walked in behind Torino. "I know we had originally tasked Toshinori with calling his old mentor, but since it has been over three months and no action has been taken, I decided to call him myself," Nighteye said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"S-sorry," Toshinori meekly replied, "I have been so caught up with training these two and the transfer of One For All that-"

"Yeah yeah, excuses as always," Torino interjected. "I know you just didn't want to talk to me."

"Well, I certainly can understand why Toshinori was hesitant to call you," Mirai said as he walked over to a chair and took a seat. "However, I believe you came here for answers, not to insult your old student."

"Yeah yeah." Torino waved off Mirai's criticisms as he sat down. "So what's this I hear about you having multiple successors?"

Toshinori briefly coughed while everyone in the room looked at him expectantly. "Well you see, the nature of One For All has changed."

"What do you mean changed?" Torino demanded, wanting a direct answer.

"Both Young Midoriya and Young Uraraka here—" Toshinori indicated the two teenagers. "—possess One For All."

Torino did a double take and inspected the two with a more critical eye. The green-haired boy still seemed uncomfortable in his presence for some reason, while the girl still gave him a wary look. Looking back at Toshinori, Torino was about to speak when the girl spoke up first.

"I know it's hard to believe, but it's true," Ochako affirmed as she held up her hand and channeled One For All into it, wrapping her hand in a pink glow. She looked expectantly at Izuku, who also held up his hand and called upon One For All, wrapping his hand in a green glow.

"I see." Torino turned towards Toshinori. "I'm sure you have an explanation for this, right?"

"W-well, that is related to the other large secret these two have. You see, these kids are actually from the future."

The silence in the room was deafening as Torino tried to process the information. He was waiting for Toshinori to start laughing, or admit he was lying, but it never came. Finally, Torino spoke.

"Ok, now you're just trying to mess with me."

"He's not," Mirai confirmed, and when Torinio turned his attention to him, he saw Naomasa nodding along in agreement. "Detective Tsukauchi and I have both verified this information with our quirks to the best of our ability."

"So what?" Torino said as he crossed his arms. "Do you mean to tell me that these two kids are both actually One For All users, just from the future?"

"Yes, that is exactly it," Toshinori agreed.

Torino was taken back by Toshinori's assertion. "Really? You mean to tell me that you chose these two kids to be your successors?"

"Hey!" Ochako protested. "We have names you know!" She crossed her arms. "And he did choose us in our original timelines. And you know what else? We impressed him so much that when we approached him in this timeline, he couldn't decide which of us he should give One For All to, either."

"A decision which turned out for the best," Toshinori cut in, returning the attention to himself. "As it turned out when I passed One For All onto them, it had achieved something akin to a Quirk Awakening, where they gained access to the quirks of all previous holders."

"Nana?" Torino asked.

Toshinori shook his head. "One day, but not yet. More importantly, the second holder apparently had a time travel quirk, which had been influenced by all of the years it had been contained within One For All. It activated while these two were on the brink of death, and delivered them to us a little over 11 months ago. In the process of doing so, something happened with their copies of One For All. The two copies merged, and as a result, they both share it."

"What the hell kind of mess is this," Torino said with a weary sigh.

"An opportunity," Nezu said, "for a better tomorrow." Standing from his desk, Nezu walked around it to be closer to the others. "You see, these two are working hard to avert the tragedy that befell them from happening again. And from what they have told us, I very much would like for them to succeed."

"Indeed." All Might sighed heavily. "Their situation may be complicated, but I fully support them. Which is why I have been training the both of them to be my successors - to prepare for my eventual retirement after I defeat All For One, for good this time."

"WHAT?" Gran Torino yelled.

"I had hoped you would have picked up on that," Mirai said. "Why else would we be reassembling the old All For One task force, if not for a threat against Japan on the level of All For One?"

"So what happened?" Torino asked the two kids.

"We sadly don't know much," Izuku admitted, "because we weren't told a lot of details. If you want to blame anyone, blame your past selves-"

"And I do," Nezu chipped in. "If I had a way to speak to myself from your timeline, I would have some very stern words with him about theoretical knowledge that would be helpful in case of time travel."

Izuku paused to see if anyone else wanted to speak, before he continued, "But, during the summer after our first semester, he revealed himself and had a rematch with All Might. He was eventually defeated both times, but a large chunk of Kamino Ward was destroyed in the process, and All Might's injuries were revealed to the world before he was forced to retire, having spent the remaining power that was left behind once he passed One For All onto us."

That gave Gran Torino pause. "I see, so we're going to strike early and take him out then?"

"Ideally, yes," Nezu answered, "however, that plan has several complications. Namely, finding his current whereabouts. While I have several heroes looking into where All For One could be hiding, so far their efforts have been frustratingly scarce."

Returning to his desk, Nezu retrieved a manilla folder before passing it to Mirai. "In the meantime, we have another matter of personal importance to Mr. Midoriya and Miss Uraraka to discuss - the dismantling of a certain group of Yakuza."

"Hold on,"—Torino raised his hand—"first you tell me that All For One is still alive. And then, instead of focusing on him, we're going to talk about dealing with some washed-up criminals?"

"These are very dangerous criminals," Ochako pointed out, correcting Torino. "Criminals that are trying to create quirk-disabling and quirk-destroying bullets."

"That does sound bad," Torino was forced to admit.

"And the worst part is how they are trying to create these bullets."

With a grim face, Mirai handed the manilla folder to Torino. Opening it, he saw a photo of a little girl, barely 4 years old with off-white hair, bright red eyes, and a tiny horn growing on the side of her head.

"That is Eri," Ochako continued, "and her quirk allows her to rewind organic material to an earlier state. It turns out that the young boss of the Shie Hassaikai, who goes by the villain name Overhaul, is also a scientist. In our time, he was close to being able to mass produce bullets that could permanently destroy someone's quirk,"—she gestured, indicating the photo of Eri—"by using her blood."

"His quirk, Overhaul, allows him to destroy and reform organic and inorganic matter," Izuku elaborated. "After they harvest as much blood as they can get out of Eri without killing her, he uses his quirk to tear her apart and then rebuild her. I can't imagine the pain she has to endure having to suffer through his quirk daily, if not more frequently."

"What?" Torino looked across the table towards Toshinori, the folder in his hands being crushed under the pressure. "How long have you known about this?"

"Since they arrived," Nezu admitted.

"And why are we only dealing with this now?"

"For a selfish reason, I will admit," All Might explained. "I wanted to ensure that One For All was safely held by my successors before the raid."

"Why?" Torino asked incredulously. Hearing that a little girl was being experimented on in such a way made his blood boil. Now that they had explained it, he fully understood why they would prioritize this over All For One, and he couldn't disagree.

Toshinori stood to his full height and disappeared in a puff of smoke, being replaced by his muscular form. "Because I intend to join the raid myself."

"But All Might, your promise-" Izuku protested until All Might put a hand on his head to silence him.

"Worry not, young Midoriya. I fully intend to keep my promise, and my final act will be to defeat All For One for good. However, as you two have taught us, it is best to be prepared and ensure One For All is in safe hands. After all, what good would a quirk-destroying bullet do if I don't have a quirk anymore?"

Looking around the room, Torino saw the reactions were mixed. Mirai looked overjoyed to be working with All Might again, while Nezu remained frustratingly unreadable. Everyone else looked surprised and shocked at the revelation.

"Now then," Nezu finally spoke, "if you would be so kind as to sit down, we have important matters pertaining to the upcoming raid to discuss."

Several days later, Ochako pushed herself out of bed as she heard her alarm going off. For years, she was never a morning person, but that changed once she met All Might, and now it just felt natural waking up before the sun rose to get her morning run in. Not that she minded being able to sleep in on her days off. In fact, it was something she always found herself looking forward to. But she no longer found herself bothered by waking up as early as she did.

Quietly exiting her family's apartment, Ochako silently made her way to the ground floor before she began her morning jog. As she made her way to her usual meeting spot, she saw Izuku already standing there, playing with his phone.

"What, you didn't have the directions ready yet?" Ochako asked, faking a dramatic gasp. "What kind of All Might fan are you?"

"Hey Ochako," Izuku greeted with a yawn. "Himi kept me up late last night watching her shows, so I didn't have time to program the route before I had to leave this morning."

"Of course, it's her fault." Ochako lightly bumped her shoulder into his. It may be selfish of her, but she savored the casual physical contact between them. It gave her a constant reminder that Izuku was here, that he was okay.

Even if it had been several months since she had her last nightmare about Toga stabbing Izuku to death, or stabbing Inko to death, she appreciated the reminder. Izuku was her partner, always there for her. Just like she was always there for him.

She was thankful that Izuku's fist pump broke her out of her thoughts before they strayed further as he held up his phone triumphantly. "There we go."

"I can't believe you literally planned a revised route so that you could buy a limited edition All Might action figure." Ochako rolled her eyes playfully.

"Hey, I've been better!" Izuku defended himself, despite the blush spreading across his face. "Besides! Mom gave me money for my birthday specifically for this figure!"

"To be fair, do you really need to buy all of those figures after…"

"I haven't been buying all of All Might's new figures. I've just been sticking to the limited edition releases only."

Without waiting for an answer, Izuku took off in a jog, following the route displayed on his phone, and Ochako effortlessly caught up, matching pace with him. "And how about the fact that you may be Izuku Yagi soon?"

Izuku sputtered at that but quickly recovered. "Who would have thought that All Might would be interested in Mom like that?"

"I don't know, maybe the same way her son had impressed him with his heroic spirit," Ochako giggled. "At least, that's what he said while we were on I-Island."

"You heard that too huh?"

"Of course, silly." Ochako turned her head slightly to stick her tongue out at Izuku.

"As long as Mom is happy, that's what's most important. She deserves someone special like him."

"Mmm!"

The two continued, enjoying the peace until they reached the store - one of the shops that specifically catered to hero merch that Izuku was a regular at. They saw one person waiting in line already, even though the store wouldn't open for four more hours. Reaching the side of the building, the two took the chance to stretch before they leaned against the wall.

"Are you still planning on coming over for lunch after we deposit your new treasure at home?" Ochako asked.

"Of course, then an afternoon at the beach?"

"Yep!" Ochako cheerily replied as she hooked her pinky around his. "I never had a beach back home, so I'm looking forward to it!"

"I'm glad, it was a shame how dirty that beach was."

"But now it's clean! And people are even maintaining it!"

"Yeah." Izuku smiled as he thought about how they were indirectly inspiring others before he turned back to Ochako. "And Mochi for dessert?"

"If you're offering… although, are you sure you can afford it after you buy this new action figure?" Ochako teased.

"Of course! Since I'm not buying the three other All Might action figures that were released as part of this wave."

Ochako felt her natural blush deepen at his words. It reminded her how much he cared about her, and how much she meant to him. It made her feel special and important. That no matter what, he would be there for her.

And she selfishly wanted to hold those feelings close.

The traitorous part of her brain whispered a question of why she was making the same mistake again, but she quickly swatted the treacherous thought aside. Even if she was confident in her feelings, she wasn't ready yet to vocalize them.

The future was counting on them! She had more important things to worry about right now than a crush.

"W-well then, I'm going to buy a whole pile of Mochi!" Ochako wrapped her pinky tighter around Izuku's.

The two stood that way and continued talking until the shop finally opened. Ochako followed Izuku inside and watched as the shopkeeper greeted him before buying the latest All Might figure. The shopkeeper was taken back by Izuku's restraint when he refused the rest of the wave, giving him a suspicious stare, to which Izuku bashfully explained that he wasn't cheating on him with other stores.

After they were done, the two walked hand-in-hand back to their usual meeting spot. Ochako reluctantly broke apart from Izuku before waving and turning to head home. Breaking into a light jog, Ochako began to run home. She knew it wouldn't make the time pass any quicker, but she felt like the sooner she got home and took a shower, the sooner she would see Izuku again.

She was looking forward to spending the afternoon with him.

After taking a shower, Ochako put on a 2-piece black bathing suit, before she threw a T-shirt and some shorts on. Smiling as she looked in the mirror, she tied her lengthening hair in a ponytail, leaving just enough hair loose to frame her face before she returned to her bedroom. Checking her phone, she messaged Jiro and Aika about upcoming plans, pulled her laptop onto her bed, and watched astronomy videos.

Eventually, Izuku arrived, and Ochako dashed to the door, opening it with a vibrant smile. "Took you long enough!"

Izuku chuckled a bit as he rubbed the back of his head. "I-I kind of forgot the size of the figure and had to rearrange my shelf?" Similar to Ochako, he was clad in green swim trunks, wearing a t-shirt with the words 'swimsuit' printed on it.

"That's just like you." Ochako playfully rolled her eyes but laughed. "Lucky for you, lunch isn't quite ready yet."

Leading Izuku inside, the two helped her parents by setting the table as Miu finished preparing lunch before the four sat down.

Lunch was a pleasant affair with Ochako's parents mostly asking Izuku about I-Island. Naturally, Ochako objected, saying that she had already told them about their trip, but that led to both of her parents teasing her, saying she could be hiding something from them, while Izuku was too polite to lie to them. Ochako's response was to fold her arms and give her parents an exaggerated pout, which lasted all of ten seconds until she broke and everyone descended into laughter.

After lunch, the pair helped Ochako's parents clean up before they finally departed. Ochako grabbed an oversized bag filled with towels and sunscreen on the way out. Exiting the apartment complex, the pair began their casual stroll to the beach. While they have spent many mornings jogging there and had the route seared into their memories, it was a nice change of pace to simply be walking to the beach as friends and enjoying the day as normal teenagers.

Once they reached the beach Ochako laid out the blankets as Izuku removed his shirt. Ochako couldn't help but blush as she saw how toned he had become over the last ten months. Even though she knew what he went through, having gone through much the same thing herself, Izuku never grew a significant amount of muscle mass. However, seeing him without his shirt on, the effects of the training were obvious.

"Are you ok, Ochako?" Izuku asked as he noticed how flustered she had become.

"Y-yeah!" Ochako squeaked out. "I just need a moment."

Turning around, Ochako spent far too long smoothing out the blankets to calm herself down before she pulled out the bottle of sunscreen. First, she removed her shirt and shorts, and then she carefully removed her artist gloves before she began applying the sunscreen to herself. When she was done, she finally turned to face Izuku again and was rewarded by seeing him blush almost as much as she did. She couldn't help but enjoy the fact that she had the same effect on him that he had on her.

"T-thank you Ocha-" Izuku stuttered as he grabbed the sunscreen and began applying it, causing Ochako to giggle and put her hands behind her back.

"Ocha huh? I like it."

"You do?" Izuku asked in surprise.

"Yeah. We've been on a first-name basis for so long, don't you think it's time for nicknames?"

"I guess you're right. So you like Ocha?"

Ochako nodded with a smile on her face. "I do! And I could call you Izu, just like Himiko!"

"I would like that."

"Alright, it's decided!" Ochako clapped her hands together. "And now, time to go swimming!"

Once Izuku was done applying sunscreen, Ochako grabbed his arm, careful to leave her index finger extended, and pulled him towards the water. After a couple of feet, she felt Izuku match her pace and let go as the two raced into the water and began swimming.

After spending an afternoon on the beach, Ochako sat on her towel letting the sun dry her off, while Izuku sat next to her.

"Ready to go broke on Mochi?" Ochako asked playfully as she turned towards Izuku.

"You'd be surprised how much money I have now that it's not all going to All Might merch."

"That sounds like a challenge!"

"I trust you, though."

Ochako opened her mouth, but closed it, simply smiling at Izuku for a moment, before responding, "You know me too well."

Once they had dried off, Izuku put his shirt back on, while Ochako put her gloves back on before she threw her clothing over her bathing suit and packed the bag again. Ready to go, they stood up and left the beach, making their way towards the nearby market street. Once there, Izuku led Ochako to a familiar shop, where they ordered Mochi.

True to her word, Ochako bought extra. While she didn't buy any extra for herself, she did pick out several extra pieces to get boxed up for her parents.

"Hey, that's not fair!" Izuku protested as he saw what she did.

Ochako responded by sticking her tongue out. She had to be careful with her new bad habit, otherwise, she would have to endure endless teasing from Himiko about how she had corrupted her. "I did warn you!"

"I didn't expect you to buy for multiple people!"

"My parents will be thrilled to have the treat, though! And I'll be sure to let them know where it came from."

"Fine," Izuku said with a resigned sigh, "next time I'll have to be more specific on my offer."

"Aww," Ochako said, but her actions showed her true feelings as she pulled Izuku into a hug. "Thank you!"

"You're welcome, Ocha."

Pulling apart, Ochako retrieved the boxes of treats while Izuku paid, and then they found a small table outside, where they sat down and Ochako pulled out their two orders of mochi. The two ate in comfortable silence, simply enjoying each other's company.

As Ochako chewed the soft treat, she couldn't help but feel those traitorous thoughts bubbling up again as she looked at Izuku. And like before, she bottled them up, burying them deep within her heart.

Just like she wasn't ready to vocalize her thoughts, she suspected that Izuku wasn't ready either. But someday.

In the meantime?

What they had was more than enough for her.

AN: For the hundredth time today, Himiko stared at the piece of paper in front of her.

Hifumi Toga
Cell: 0X-XXXX-XXXX

"Honey, it's ok if you can't do this today. There's always tomorrow," Inko said, resting her hand on Himiko's shoulder.

"No. I've put this off long enough. I want to know how Fumi is doing," Himiko bit her lip as she looked at Inko, "But could you stay here while I call?"

"Of course."

Inko sat down and Himiko leaned into her shoulder. Taking a deep breath she punched the number in her phone, before she closed her eyes and hit send.

Even though she only heard three rings, it felt like an eternity before Himiko heard someone pick up on the other end.

"Himi? Is that you?"

Himiko could feel the tears building, hearing her sister's voice. She really was turning into a Midoriya, wasn't she?

"Yes Fumi, it's me."
