AN: Thanks for all the support and reviews!

InfinityMask - I'm sure everything will turn out fine.

Amit Barabi - Yeah, I went with the Vigilante's form, where he is still large and muscular, but still "different" from AM.

Miu opened the door, a nervous smile on her face. "Inko! All- Yagi! Come in!"

"Thank you," Inko said with a smile as she stepped into the entryway. Releasing Yagi's hand, she knelt to remove her shoes before making her way into the living room while Toshinori followed behind her.

As they entered the living room, they saw Miu and Katashi had taken one side of the couch, leaving the other half for them. Toshinori's large frame took up much of the space, but Inko didn't mind, pressing herself into the man's side as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"I see you're getting comfortable already," Miu teased.

"We are," Inko replied happily.

"How does it feel to be dating Japan's number-one hero?"

"It's strange," Inko admitted as she looked at Toshinori. "Finding out that he's All Might changed nothing and everything."

"Indeed," Toshinori agreed. "Inko is a wonderful woman. The fact that she was so willing to accept me despite knowing my biggest secret is still amazing to me."

"Well, one of your biggest secrets," Inko said, suddenly very serious.

"What do you mean?" Katashi asked.

"The other day, Toshi told me something very important. About Izu's quirk. And Ochako's."

"What about her quirk?"

"You see," Toshinori began. "My quirk is- was, very special." Toshinori held up his hand. "Its name is One For All, and it's a quirk that originated from the dawn of quirks, passed around from hero to hero. I was the eighth holder of this quirk."

"What do you mean, it can be transferred? Quirks don't work that way!"

"Normally they don't," Toshinori answered, "which is why my quirk is so special. And it's so imperative that I kept it a secret."

"Izu has that quirk now, doesn't he?" Miu asked softly.

"Yeah," Inko said. "But that's not all-"

"-young Uraraka possesses it as well."

"WHAT?" both of the Urarakas exclaimed.

"Remember how they were from different timelines?" Inko asked.

"Yeah, how could I forget," Miu said somberly.

"In each of their pasts, I gave them my quirk," Toshinori explained, "and it was that very quirk that enabled them to travel to the past."

"And Chako- she still has that quirk?"

"Yes. She, along with young Midoriya, both possess this quirk."

"I knew something was funny about her quirk!" Katashi insisted as he stood up. "Something felt off when she suddenly figured out those fancy new abilities!"

"Honey, calm down and let him explain!" Miu insisted.

"No, it's alright," Toshinori assured them. "I understand this is quite a shock after recently learning of their adventures."

Inko tried to assure them. "For what it's worth, Toshi has promised me that this is the last secret."

"So what does this mean?" Miu asked. "For our children."

"Originally, it meant they were supposed to be my successor and become the next Symbol of Peace in Japan," Toshinori responded. "But we know how that turned out." A grim silence filled the air as the Urarakas looked uncomfortably at Toshinori.

"You're going to be putting Chako through that again, are you?"

"N-no!" Toshinori held up his hands defensively. "I- when they told me what happened to them, I realized how much of a fool I was."

"Good!" Katashi exclaimed. "Otherwise, pro hero or not, there's nothing that would stop me from keeping my little girl safe."

Toshinori laughed awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Believe me, I understand. When I heard what happened to them, I realized how much I had failed them. Both of them. And I vowed that this time, I would be the hero worthy of them."

"And how do you plan on doing that?"

"You've seen how Toshi has acted these last five months," Inko defended him. "He's been trying to be a good teacher and mentor to them."

"Indeed, I have been taking teaching classes, and I promised that I would not leave them with my unfinished business."

"Unfinished business?"

"My injury from six years ago," Toshinori clarified. "I had thought that was my final battle, but it wasn't." He looked at the Urarakas with determination in his eyes. "I won't let those two suffer for my failures a second time."

"Toshi…"

"Now, isn't that a little extreme?" Miu asked, concerned by Toshinori's tone.

"Don't get me wrong." Toshinori gently removed Inko from him and stood up. "I intend to live a full and long life!" In a puff of smoke, Toshinori vanished, All Might replacing him in the living room. "Thanks to young Eri, I have been given a second chance, and like your children, I intend to maximize it as well!"

"That's all we ask," Katashi remarked, awestruck by the hero in his living room. "We just- it's hard, knowing what happened to Chako."

"I know." Inko nodded. "That's the real reason we're here. I think we all could just… use some time to talk about everything that happened to them." She looked at All Might. "But when Toshi told me about One For All, I told him that you had to know. I'm sure you're just as tired of the secrets as I am."

"We are," Miu agreed.

"Inko can be… persuasive." All Might disappeared in a puff of smoke, returning to the form of Toshinori. "While the danger grows with each person who knows about One For All…"

"The fact that it's our daughter means we know to be careful," Katashi finished for him.

"Exactly! Besides—" Toshinori looked at Inko. "—this allows the three of you to talk freely amongst yourselves."

"And with you," Inko pointed out.

"And with me," Toshinori agreed sheepishly.

As the initial shock began to die down, everyone readjusted themselves on the couch as Miu poured them cups of tea. "If you don't mind, I'd like to know more about your quirk," Miu said softly. "And… how it worked to send those two back in time."

"Yes, I can answer that," Toshinori replied before taking a sip from his cup. "You see, for nearly two hundred years One For All has been slowly accumulating strength and power from each of its wielders as it was passed down from one holder to the next until it was passed to your children, the ninth holders."

"Why didn't this time travel work for the previous holders?" Miu asked curiously.

"That is where it gets complicated," Toshinori admitted. "When they received the quirk, it underwent some sort of awakening where they began unlocking the ability to use the quirks of the previous holders. One of these holders had a much more limited time travel quirk. A quirk that, after being fused with One For All for over a century, was powerful enough to send them back in time, years, instead of seconds."

"How many quirks are we talking?" Katashi asked.

"There are six in total. I myself was quirkless, and the first quirk was One For All itself, leaving six others."

"Can we expect this quirk to save our children a second time?"

"Sadly not," Toshinori answered. "Due to the nature of One For All and the quirk itself, it cannot be used for two more years. And even then, only one of them could go back." He sighed heavily. "I doubt one of them would use the quirk to travel back in time again unless the other is dead."

The room was filled with heavy silence at those words.

Eventually, Inko finally decided to break it. "That still leaves five quirks, what do we know about them?"

Thankful for the topic to shift, Toshinori quickly continued. "Thanks to young Midoriya and young Uraraka, I've been able to piece together information about the other holders. Of course, the one I know the most about is my mentor, Nana Shimura-"

Toshinori was cut off by a gasp and the sound of shattering glass as Inko sat there, a haunted look on her face. "M-mom?!"

It took almost half an hour, but eventually, the glass and liquid were cleaned and Inko began to calm down. She sat by herself on the couch, unable to look at Toshinori.

After sitting in silence for so long, she finally spoke. "I never really knew my mother. All I knew was that shortly after I was born I was adopted by my aunt, Ayaka Hyodo. When I was old enough to understand, she explained that my mom died when I was barely a year old. She- she never explained why." Inko looked at Toshinori, her eyes glassy from tears forming. "Please Toshi, tell me about what happened."

Toshinori stared awkwardly. "She died protecting me." He heard Inko gasp, but he refused to look away. She deserved this much from him, at least. "When I was young and still learning to become a hero, an ancient evil found us on a remote island where we were training. Nana forced my other mentor, a hero by the name of Gran Torino, to take me and flee. When I watched, she stood against the evil, a smile on her face and her head held high. And then the island was engulfed in a kaleidoscope of lights." He saw the tears beginning to pour out of the green-haired woman. "That was the last time I saw her."

"Mom…"

Toshinori stepped toward Inko and opened his arms, a pensive look on his face. Inko silently accepted the invitation and stood up, leaning into Toshinori. As he wrapped his arms around her he felt her tears already beginning to soak his shirt as he felt her sobs. "I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to protect her, Inko."

"No, it's not your fault," Inko said. "I just- after all this time, I thought I had made peace with not knowing what happened to her." She reached up and her hands curled around Toshinori's shirt. "And now-"

"If it helps, she was a wonderful woman and an amazing hero," Toshinori assured her.

"I know. If she was the one to inspire All Might of all people." Inko pulled back, and Toshinori saw the wet smile on her face. "It shows how amazing she was."

"She was," Toshinori agreed. "If there's anything I can tell you-"

"I already have a list of questions." Inko let out a light laugh. "But we'll discuss that later tonight." She turned to the chair Miu was sitting in. "I believe we have another conversation to finish first."

"Are you sure?" Miu asked.

Inko nodded and wiped her face with her sleeve. "I've waited forty years not knowing. I can wait a few more hours."

As Toshinori watched Inko wrestle with her feelings and put the Urarakas first, he was once again in awe of the woman he had fallen for. If he paid more attention he may have seen the similarities sooner, but now that he knew of her relationship with Nana, it couldn't have been more obvious. He realized he was staring and shook his head to break himself out of his reverie. "Y-yes. Where were we?"

"I believe we were talking about who held One For All before you," Katashi supplied helpfully.

"Yes. Well, there was Nana Shimura, who received it from a hero named En…"

That night, when Izuku appeared in the vestige realm, he didn't go to the observatory right away like he usually does. Instead, he sought out Yoichi. He found him in an office, sitting in a leather chair with a book in his hands. Izuku was curious about where he found a comic book of all things here, but that would be a question for another time.

"Midoriya, what do I owe the honor?"

"Nana Shimura…" Izuku began hesitantly. "She's here, isn't she?"

"She is, but she hasn't awoken yet."

"I remember seeing her, back before…" Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat. "Before Second used his quirk."

Yoichi sighed as he put the book down. "Yes. Back then we were all awake, but everyone was watching you, and each passing their judgment on your worth to use their quirks. At the time, Nana was still unsure of you. You were Toshinori's successor, but you had yet to step out of his shadow."

Izuku nodded solemnly. "And now?"

"Now, One For All is still adjusting to accommodate both of you." Yoichi sighed. "And she remains asleep."

"Oh." Izuku couldn't keep the disappointment out of his voice.

"Why the sudden interest? You haven't asked about the sleeping vestiges in months."

"We- I received some pretty big news today. I- Nana is my grandmother."

Yoichi looked genuinely surprised by this. "Oh?"

Izuku bobbed his head vigorously. "Yeah! I, well, I never knew her. She died when mom was still young. So I never really learned about her. Just a few stories from my great aunt."

"You want to talk to her?"

"Yeah, I was kind of hoping to?" Izuku said, uncertainty filling his voice.

"I don't know what's possible, but I will speak with my counterpart. Perhaps we can find some way to transfer energy to her and see if that wakes her up."

"I'm sure you can figure something out!" Izuku couldn't keep the smile off of his face. "And then I can properly meet her!"

Izuku woke up the next morning and swung his legs out of his bed. He placed his foot on the ground and gingerly tested it, wincing at the pain that ran up his leg. He took one look at the crutch leaning against his bed and slipped it under his arm, pushing himself upright. Recovery Girl was supposed to use her quirk on him and Ochako later that day, but until then it was easier to use the support.

Assuming he survived long enough to see Recovery Girl.

"So you're going to tell Jiro and Aika today, right?" Himiko asked, not even bothering to look up from her phone as she heard Izuku limping toward the dining room table.

"Yeah," Izuku said softly. "They deserve to know."

"Good, you don't know how hard it was for me to not blurt everything out last night."

"I thought you'd be bragging about officially being a Midoriya," Izuku teased as he eased himself into a chair.

"Oh, I was!" Himiko grinned. "But they asked why the sudden decision and well…"

"I see." Izuku sat in silent contemplation for a moment. "You don't have to tell them if you don't want to."

"I think I'd feel better if they knew, just in case anything happens. I'm just scared. What if-"

"Himi, do you think those two would care? Remember, the only people who even know what you could have become are Ocha and me."

"No, you're right." Himiko sighed. "I just- Toga is going to scare me for a while."

Izuku pushed himself out of his chair and walked around the table before pulling his sister into a hug. "And we'll continue to remind you that you're Himiko Midoriya now."

"Thanks, Izu."

The two ate breakfast and said their goodbyes before they made their way to UA. There they met up with their friends outside the gate.

"Should you two really be training?" Aika asked as the group approached. "Midoriya can barely walk without Himiko's support!"

"Who said we were training?" Ochako asked. "We're here to see Recovery Girl."

"And to talk to you two," Izuku added.

"I was wondering how long it was going to take for you to tell us about your little stunt," Kyoka said.

"What stunt?" Aika asked.

"Don't you watch the news?"

"Of course I do!"

"Didn't you see them in that big raid on a yakuza compound a couple of days ago?"

"They what?!"

Kyoka gave an affectionate sigh and patted the shorter girl on the head. "Didn't you see the clip with Ryukyu floating over a cloud of smoke?"

"Wait!" Aika turned towards her companions and pointed a finger at them. "That was you?!"

"Yes?" Ochako replied.

"See Ocha, nobody will figure it out," Izuku said jokingly.

"Well, almost nobody," Kyoka said smugly as she crossed her arms and ear jacks.

"So what were you guys doing there?" Aika asked excitedly.

"Let's go inside," Izuku tensely suggested. "We can talk in the gym."

Agreeing, the five made their way to Gym Gamma for training. When they entered, Kyoka and Aika were both surprised by Toshinori's appearance as he stood there talking to Recovery Girl.

"Mr. Yagi?!" Aika asked in confusion, her head darting between him and her friends. "What happened to you?"

"Something very fortunate," Toshinori said with a light chuckle. "During the incident two days ago, I encountered a young girl with a very powerful quirk. Thanks to her, my body reverted to how it was before my injury."

"That's so cool," Jiro remarked. "So this is what you used to look like before you became all skeletal?"

"Yes, and I hope to remain this way from now on," Toshinori admitted with a grin on his face.

"I can imagine! Having your stomach and lung back must feel great."

Toshinori let out a laugh. "You are right, young Shizu, it does."

"Now then—" Kyoka whirled around to face Izuku and Ochako and pointed her ear jacks at the pair. "—just because Mr. Yagi had his own surprise for us doesn't mean you two are off the hook. Spill."

"We were in the raid," Izuku confessed, "because someone was being held by the yakuza. A little girl who was very important to the two of us."

"Woah! Why didn't you tell us someone got kidnapped by the Yakuza, we could have helped too!" Aika insisted.

"It's not that simple," Ochako admitted. "You see, she wasn't really kidnapped - she was the granddaughter of their leader."

"How do you guys know someone in the Yakuza?"

"Well…" Ochako continued. Her eyes darted to Izuku, who gave her a subtle nod and an encouraging smile before she looked at her friends. "We actually have been keeping another secret from you guys. One that's bigger than One For All, even."

"You guys are secretly members of the Yakuza?!" Aika exclaimed.

Jiro laughed as she used her ear jack to poke her friend in the shoulder. "Somehow I don't think that's what's going on."

"No, it's not," Ochako confirmed before taking a deep breath. "Izu and I - we're actually from the future."

"Seriously?" Jiro asked. "After dropping the bomb about your quirk you're just expecting us to believe anything you tell us?"

Despite Kyoka's expectations, Izuku stood there and fidgeted nervously while Ochako simply stared at her with a too-wide grin on her face.

"Wait! What? How? Why? When?"

Jiro grabbed Aika's shoulder, in part to steady herself as much as to keep her energetic friend from flying off and attacking the pair. "Wait- you're serious?!"

"It's true," Toshinori avowed. "They told me things they would have no way of knowing unless I told them myself. And here, at least, I knew I had never met them before then."

"I thought you two were actually dating or something like that," Jiro said before her eyes suddenly went wide. "Wait- that first day of school! Your notebook!"

"Y-yeah," Izuku admitted, "about that…"

"That means you knew me in the past!" Jiro pointed an ear jack at Izuku threateningly.

"We both did," Ochako admitted. "As part of UA's class 1-A."

"What about me?" Aika asked.

"We never actually met you, sorry," Izuku said.

"Jiro occasionally talked about her friends, but that was it," Ochako added.

"Oh-" Aika looked crushed.

"Hey, cheer up!" Jiro put an arm around her friend's shoulder. "That means even if we go to different schools, we're still friends!"

"But what about all of us going to the same high school together?!" Aika practically wailed.

"That happened after Midoriya arrived, remember? Once you actually started improving your practice exam scores? Maybe this is happening because of them."

"We never met before UA," Izuku admitted. "None of us did. All of this - everything at Montross happened because of us coming back in time."

"So you're saying that by changing the future, we can all go to school together?"

Ochako laughed. "That seems a simple way to look at it, but yes."

"How long have you been meddling with things?" Jiro asked before her eyes went wide and she turned toward Himiko. "Don't tell me-"

"Yep!" Himiko gave a forced smile to the group. "Izu stopping me was part of their whole thing."

"That's why you were being so evasive last night!" Aika exclaimed.

"It's not my story to tell," Himiko said, looking nervously toward Izuku and Ochako. "Especially with everything that happened to me."

"What could be that bad? It's not like you were a villain or anything?"

Himiko suddenly found the floor very interesting as her hands fiddled with the strap of her bag. Jiro quickly realized that her friend's words hit too close to home and kicked her in the shin. "Aika!"

"I'm sorry! It wasn't supposed to be true!"

"It's true," Himiko said. "Himiko Toga was a monster."

"And when your mom found out, she adopted you?"

"Yeah. She was always planning on it, but the night we found out I - I really needed that."

Aika wiggled out of her friend's grip and bound over to Himiko, pulling her into a hug. "I'm so sorry! I would have never guessed in a million years you could be some sort of creepy bad guy!"

Himiko laughed as she returned the hug. "That's because those two did a good job."

"So now what?" Jiro asked. "What does all this mean?"

"Well," Izuku began, with a nervous smile on his face. "How do you two feel about helping us change the future?"

AN: Mirai and Naomasa entered Nezu's office, concerned by the suddenness of a meeting so soon after the incident with the Shie Hassaikai. The investigation is still ongoing and they both had a mountain of paperwork to file, so for Nezu to call them so soon…

"Gentlemen, I know you are both extremely busy right now, but I'm glad you could come," Nezu said as he subtly pressed the button on his desk to activate the anti-surveillance countermeasures.

"What's so important that it couldn't wait?" Naomasa asked, unable to keep the concern out of his voice.

"It's about the situation in Deika City," Nezu explained as he stood up.

"Deika City? Where those two claim the Meta-Liberation Army originated from?" Mirai asked.

"The same. It appears that, perhaps, we underestimated the scope of the threat," Nezu admitted as he walked around the desk. He set a photo down on the desk, and both men gasped at what they saw.

In the photo, they saw Koku Hanabata, the leader of the Hearts and Mind Party, standing on a stage, as if he were giving a speech. But the shocking part was the salute he was making. He was using his thumb and index finger to form an 'L' shape with his right hand and had his thumb pressed against his forehead.

As the two further examined the photo, they saw most of the crowd making the same salute.
