Hello again.

This chapter is going to be a big one.

Now for the reviews.

Njistar: Yup, now Lincoln has nothing to worry about.

beninator5: Well, if Lucy joins him, it will have to be at a later chapter.

avenger44: Thank you. I'm a huge Jordancoln fan.

Lets get to it.

A week had passed since Lincoln's first date with Jordan. Lincoln could not have been happier.

At the moment he was in the garage.

He was looking at the ship that he came to earth in.

He loved his family, and he loved his girlfriend. He would never trade them for the world.

But he still had a lot of questions.

Where did he come from?

Why was he sent here?

Who was he?

Sometimes he would come in here to ponder those questions.

He really wanted answers. If anything to have some closure.

Lincoln grabbed the piece of metal that had an S like symbol on it.

While he was looking at it, everything suddenly went white.

When the white light faded, Lincoln saw he was no longer in the garage.

He was now in some frozen wasteland.

Despite the fact that he was only wearing his regular clothes, he was not affected by the extreme cold.

"Where am I?" Lincoln asked himself.

He looked in front of him and saw something he didn't expect to see.

There was some kind of structure in front of him. Most of it was frozen though. In fact the only thing that wasn't frozen was the front doors.

Lincoln walked up to the front doors curiously. When he was right at the doors they opened. Lincoln walked inside.

Inside it was a little dark. He turned to his right and saw a stand.

On that stand he saw a hole that matched the shape of the piece of metal that he had.

Lincoln inserted the piece.

And all the lights turned on, revealing the interior.

The interior was like nothing he had ever seen before.

"Welcome." A female computerized voice said.

Lincoln was startled.

"Analysis shows that ship is operating at 98% efficiency." The voice continued. "Would you like to assume command?"

"Um, yes." Lincoln answered.

"Very well." The voice responded. "What would you like to do?"

"I think I'll just explore for now." Lincoln responded.

"Very well." The voice answered.

"Wait." Lincoln said. "I have to ask. Who are you?"

"I'm the ships computer." The voice replied.

"Oh, ok." Lincoln said.

He then went off exploring.

Lincoln was definitely confused.

What was a ship doing out here in a frozen wasteland?

Eventually Lincoln got to what he assumed was the bridge of the ship.

All the technology here was so futuristic.

"Lisa would really love it here." Lincoln told himself.

Then the captains chair was raised off the floor.

When the chair was lifted, it revealed a man standing there. He had brown hair, a beard, and wore a brown jacket over a blue suit.

Lincoln was confused. He didn't think anyone would be here.

"To see you standing there, and to see how much you have grown." The man addressed. "If only Lara could have witnessed this."

"Who are you?" Lincoln curiously asked.

"I'm your father." The man responded.

Lincoln was downright shocked.

Was this for real?

Was his birth father really standing here right now?

"Well, his consciousness." The man continued. "My name is Jor-El."

"You're really my father?" Lincoln asked curious.

"I am." Jor-El confirmed. "And your name is Kal-El."

"Kal-El?" Lincoln asked.

"Yes." Jor-El responded.

Lincoln couldn't believe this. His birth father was standing right in front of him.

"I have so many questions." Lincoln said.

"Well, I'm here to answer them." Jor-El said.

"Ok." Lincoln said. "I guess the first question would be, where do I come from?"

"You came from krypton." Jor-El answered. "A world with a much harsher environment than earths. Long ago krypton had a massive space program. Our race spread across the stars. We sought several new worlds. This ship is one of thousands that were sent away. For millennia our civilization flourished. But then things went downhill. Artificial population control was established, and the space program was abandoned. We exhausted our natural resources, as a result our planets core became unstable. Krypton blew up. Your mother and I foresaw the destruction of krypton, and we took all the necessary steps to ensure your survival. Thats why you were sent here."

Lincoln took in every word that Jor-El said.

"What were you like on krypton?" Lincoln asked.

"I was kryptons leading scientist." Jor-El answered. "I used my intelligence to benefit all of kryptonian society."

"And my mom?" Lincoln asked.

"Your mother was a truly beautiful women." Jor-El answered. "She was the sweetest woman you could meet. She loved you so much. It broke her heart that she would never get to raise you. She would never see your first milestones."

Lincoln was heartbroken at this. His mother never got the chance to raise him. He would never see her.

Lincoln started to cry.

"I wish I could meet her." Lincoln tearfully said.

"I know, my son." Jor-El said. "No tears now. I knew your mother, and I know that she would be proud of how good you turned out, as proud as I am."

Soon Lincoln stopped crying.

"Thanks, Dad." He said.

"Of course, Kal-El." Jor-El said. "Shall we continue?"

"Sure." Lincoln responded.

They soon made it to what looked like a large tank filled with water with stems sprouting.

"This is a genesis chamber." Jor-El said to Lincoln. "All kryptonians came from one of these. Each one was genetically altered to fulfill a specific role in society. As a worker, a warrior, a leader, a scientist, and so on."

Jor-El turned to his son.

"Your mother and I felt that something precious was lost." He said. "The freedom of choice. We felt that kryptonians deserved to have the freedom of choice, be able to forge their own destiny. You are the embodiment of our desires Kal-El. You are Kryptons first natural birth in thousands of years."

Lincoln was speechless. All this was a lot to take in.

They were now walking down a hallway. Lincoln asked so many questions, to which Jor-El gladly answered.

But there was still one very important question left unanswered.

"Why didn't you and mom come with me?" Lincoln asked.

Jor-El stopped.

"We couldn't, son." He admitted begrudgingly. "No matter how much we wanted to, no matter how much we loved you. Your mother and I were tied to kryptons fate as much as everyone else."

"So, I'm alone?" Lincoln asked.

"No." Jor-El assured. "You have the people of earth to stand behind you. You can embody the best of krypton, and earth. And I assume you have a new family as well?"

"Yes." Lincoln answered. "I have a mom, a dad, and I have ten sisters."

Jor-El's eyes widened.

"Ten sisters?" he asked.

Lincoln nodded.

"I never expected the people of earth would reproduce at such a rate." Jor-El said. "Anyways, you can be an inspiration to the people of earth."

A door opened, revealing a closet inside. Inside were numerous suits of different sizes.

"You can be a symbol of hope." Jor-El said. He then spread his jacket, revealing a symbol on the chest, what appeared to be an S inside a shield.

"That is what the symbol of the house of El means." He continued. "It means hope."

Lincoln had one more question left.

"Why am I so different from the people of earth?" he asked.

"The sun that the earth orbits has given you amazing power." Jor-El answered. "Your cells have drank its radiation, strengthened your muscles. You've grown much stronger then I ever could have imagined. The only way to know how strong is to keep testing your limits. You will give hope to the people of earth. They will follow you, and join you in the sun. And together you will accomplish wonders."

Lincoln looked inside the closet at the suits.

And that's chapter 9.

I think its safe to say the next chapter will be the moment we've all been waiting for.

I hope you all liked this. Please leave a review.
