Can't keep an evil guy down.

David was very confused.

Daniel had been right there laying in a pool of his own blood, a decent portion of his chest cavity blown away.

He'd turned around to pick up a penny he'd seen, when he turned back around...

Daniel was gone!

Corpses didn't just get up and walk off.

David knew that much, Zombies were not real, despite everything Gwen had been telling him.

The police cruisers were closing in, followed by an ambulance for a body that wasn't there anymore.

-An alley a fair distance away.-

John Bruce was a very drunk man.

He rubbed his eyes , not really believing what he was seeing.

A bloody man was stumbling towards him, John could swear he could see one of the guys lungs. Nobody should have been up walking around with a wound like that, even a drunk could tell that.

"You'll suffice."

John backed up a step as knives parted flesh like a cheap grocery bag.

His body would be found about an hour later, dental records were the only way to properly identify him.

The heart had been carved out with surgical precision, it was not found at the murder scene.

Max grumbled as he hauled a red wagon full of paintballs and paintball accessories down the street. He had pretty much maxed out Gwen's credit card, but had got enough guns to arm everyone.

He stopped walking when someone dashed across the road a few feet ahead, he cocked his head to one side.

"No fucking way."

Max fumbled with the gun slung over his shoulder, trying to bring the thing into play as the bloody shape crashed into him.

All that was left was one of Max's shoes and the wagon full of gear.

Max had been kidnapped.

Gwen was the one to discover his shoe, then she saw the spots of blood on the ground.

Something had gone horribly wrong.
