Hey guys I'm back.

So last time, Bravo team rescued Nikolai from the Ultranationalists, but also discovered Team 7 from the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto wasn't happy to see them, but reluctantly agreed to take them back to friendly territory. Nikolai tells them that the American invasion of Arabia would not end with capturing Khaled Al-Asad. That sounds ominous. For now, their main focus is making it back to the safehouse.

Also, for those who were paying attention in the last chapter, I know I gave Team 7 seemingly wimpy weapons in terms of what their damage is in the game. Sasuke getting a Mini-Uzi, Sai getting a Skorpion, and Sakura getting an M9; also Kakashi didn't get anything. I know I sound like I'm bashing them, which I am, but keep in mind, in this story, the ninja villages don't have firearms, but they know how they work. They just don't bother to use them, because some still have the belief that they need to have honor and fight up close. Well, as honorable as being a stealthy mercenary is. They'll probably get better weapons along the story.

Also, in case you're kinda wondering how Bravo Team with Nikolai and Team 7 can fit into a Blackhawk helicopter, I checked Wikipedia and UH-60 Blackhawk can carry 11 troops and that's not including the 2 pilots and the 2 gunners.

Now in terms of weapons used by the SAS, I looked up what weapons the SAS uses in real life, and some of the weapons they use is the M16 and some of its variants, that includes the M4A1, but correct me if I'm wrong. Now I know that the SAS use the C8 carbine, which is a Canadian version of the M4, but I guess I wouldn't be wrong if the SAS had some M4A1s in their inventory. Also, because Infinity Ward can't be bothered to get some of their weapons right such as the Russians using AK-47s instead of AK-74s, or even the modern versions of the AK, RPDs instead of PKMs or RPKs, etc. Now I get that they probably don't wanna have to pay a whole bunch of licensing fees to different weapon manufacturers for using their trademarks, but still. Although I wouldn't put it past some SAS operators using their own personal savings to buy custom weapons for themselves even though that would be against standard protocol. I guess that's why Captain Price uses the M1911 extensively. Special forces soldiers use different weapons, depending on what the mission requires.

Anyways, sorry for that little bit of ranting there. With that out of the way, let's get on with the story.

Western Russia

2nd Lt. Naruto "Fox" Uzumaki

22nd SAS Regiment

As Hammer 2-6 was flying over the countryside of Western Russia, Gaz got on the radio with Baseplate.

"We've got Nikolai!" Gaz said, "We're taking him to the safehouse in Hamburg! ETA 0700 hours! Out!"

During the whole ride, Team 7 tried to have a conversation with Naruto, but he wasn't in a talking mood. He just sat in silence, contemplating about why a team of Leaf shinobi were all the way out in the middle of civil war-torn Russia. Naruto's thoughts were interrupted when he heard alarms going off in the helicopter warning of a missile lock. It was then he noticed something taking off from the ground and flying towards the helicopter.

"What the hell is that?" Naruto asked, but he already knew the answer. Price noticed this as well.

"Incoming missile! Hang on!" Price orders.

"Break right, break right!" "Flares, Flares!" The pilots tried banking a hard right and launching flares to fool the missile, but it was too late. The missile hit the tail of the helicopter, and it's spinning out of control. Team 7 panics as they try to hold on for dear life, while the SAS, though they were no strangers to helicopter crashes, still held on to what they could grab on while keeping stone faces. But that didn't stop them from hoping that they could survive the crash.

The pilots send out a distress call, "Mayday, mayday! This is Hammer 2-6, we are going down, I repeat, we are going down 2 miles South of waypoint 5…" Crash!

Naruto's world was fuzzy. He had survived the helicopter crash. He came to not long after. The first thing he saw was Sasuke looking down on him.

"And I thought you were supposed to be an elite soldier, loser," Sasuke said mockingly.

"Shut up, bastard," Naruto bit back, "If I recall, you were pissing your pants panicking that we were gonna die."

Sasuke tensed at that. Naruto walked away to check in with the others. Hoyt and Sakura went up ahead to scout the area. Price was wondering if they were missing anyone when Nikolai pointed to where Soap was. He was a few yards away from the crash site. Price and Naruto went to go check on him.

"Soap," Naruto said to him as they got to his location, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," Soap responded groggily, "I'll live."

"You're still in one piece," Price said, "Get up."

They jumped when the helicopter exploded, presumably because of the fuel tank igniting from the fire. No doubt if the crash didn't alert any Ultranationalists in the area, the explosion would.

"Come on, we need to move before the search parties get here," Price said as he helped Soap up. Soap recovered his M4A1. It was still relatively intact; however, his sniper rifle was wrecked in the crash. Good thing he brought his M1911 with him. Everyone's night vision goggles were also trashed, so that didn't help.

Soap, Price, and Naruto got back to the crash site. "Casualty report," Price told Gaz.

"Paulsen and both pilots are dead sir," Gaz reported somberly.

"Bugger…" Price grimaced, "Alright the extraction point's not far from here. Let's move out."

Naruto grabs Paulsen's and the pilots' dog tags off their corpses. Sasuke grabbed Paulsen's G36C, Sai grabbed an M4A1, and Kakashi grabbed an MP5; the latter two were the pilots' emergency weapons.

"You all know how to work those weapons?" Naruto asked. Sasuke, Sai, and Kakashi looked at each other, and looked back at Naruto. He already got his answer. "Ugh, we'll just have to crash course it." Naruto gave them a quick demonstration on how to use their weapons. Once the shinobi got in tuned with the same radio frequency as the team (AN: Yeah, when I first watched Naruto, I was a bit surprised that they had radios), they headed out to rendezvous with Hoyt and Sakura who were up ahead keeping an eye on the road.

"Bravo 6, this is Baseplate. AC-130 gunship support is on the way, but it will take some time before they will be in a position to assist, over."

"Copy. Bravo 6, out," Price responds to Baseplate on the radio.

"An AC-130, eh?" Gaz muses, "Haven't worked with one of those in a while."

"Heh, believe it," Naruto said as he remembers a certain mission where they needed gunship support.

"I suppose that 'gunship' will be the one to extract us?" Kakashi asks hesitantly, ignorantly wondering how an AC-130 would get them out of this situation.

"No," Naruto responds, "but it'll cover us while we get to the extraction zone. Now cut the chatter, and don't use any Jutsu until absolutely necessary, believe it."

"Keep a low profile," Price orders, "Let's stay out of trouble."

The team meets up with Hoyt and Sakura who are behind a fence near a road.

"Sir, vehicles approaching from the North," Hoyt tells Price.

Price notices a nearby bridge. "Get under that bridge – move it," Price orders.

The team gets under the bridge just as a few trucks drive over, and an Mi-8 Hip helicopter flies over with its spotlight on. They looked like they were heading to the crash site to look for survivors. The team waits for a bit until it's all clear.

"Alright, let's move," Price orders. They make it to an old garage next to a house when they heard a truck pulling up followed by some voices.

"Hold up. We've got company," Price warns the others as he quietly opens the door and scans the garage. The garage is empty, but they see a group of Ultranationalists interrogating an old man, presumably the owner of the farm. Things looked like they were about to turn hot.

"Alright, let's top these bastards before they kill the old man," Price orders. Soap draws his M1911 and puts a .45 ACP bullet through the guy that was about to kill the old man. Said old man runs back inside the house and locks the door. This alerted the rest of the Ultranationalists, but they were quickly gunned down by the others.

"Area clear," Gaz declared. The team then took the time to scrounge the dead bodies for ammo. Sakura took an AK-47 off one of the dead Ultranationalists.

"Hold up," Naruto says, "Haruno, that pink hair of yours is gonna give us away. Put some mud on it."

"What?!" Sakura exclaimed, "If you think I'm gonna get my hair dirty-" Sakura didn't have chance to finish her threat has Naruto just held her down and covered her hair with some mud.

"You can wash it out when we get back to base," Naruto told her without emotion.

"Naruto's right Sakura," Kakashi spoke up, "We need to try and avoid as much fighting as we can. The best we can do is try and blend in with the environment."

Sakura was about to retort but realized that they were right. They were in the middle of enemy territory, and they needed to get out of here. So, she swallowed her pride and just nodded.

"Alright, if everyone's good, let's keep moving," Price tells them. They hop over the fence and head through the field. As they walk through the field, they see the helicopter coming back around with its spotlight.

"Spotlight, hit the deck!" Naruto tells the group. They all drop down. "Don't even think about using any Jutsu," Naruto hisses at Team 7.

The helicopter is over the field scanning for any signs of the SAS and ninja teams with its spotlight. The team just lies prone trying to blend in with the grass.

"Stay down…," Price orders, "Stay – down."

Everyone just laid still, not daring to move a muscle, lest they wished for an early death. The helicopter finishes its sweep of the field, but it doesn't find anything and flies off to search in another direction.

"The heli's moving away. Let's go."

Everyone got up slowly and moved to the house on the other side of the field. It was then that Sai noticed a truck coming in on the other side of a low stone wall.

"Another patrol coming in," Sai told the group.

Some Ultranationalist soldiers got out from the truck and spotted them.

"Contact, six o'clock," Gaz confirmed. It was then that the soldiers opened fire on them.

"Return fire," Price orders. Everyone opened fire on the soldiers that spotted them, however since the Leaf shinobi never had to use firearms before, they were spraying bullets all over the field.

"Shit, that helicopter's coming back!" Naruto exclaimed.

Apparently, the soldiers who spotted them got the bright idea to call for help because the helicopter was coming back. The door gunner opened fire with his door mounted PKM machine gun while soldiers rappelled out of the back of the helicopter.

"Stay in cover!" Soap told the shinobi.

"Gaz, we'll hold them off! Get that basement door open now!" Price told Gaz.

"I'm on it!" Gaz replied. He went over to the basement door and tried to get it open. Sasuke noticed some additional soldiers climbing over the stone wall. Deciding that he needed to buy Gaz some time, he did some hand signs to prepare one of his signature Jutsu.

"Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke yelled as he breathed out a giant ball of fire at the soldiers. Those unlucky enough to try and dodge it were engulfed in flames as they burned to death. The fireball also hit the truck as it exploded. The soldiers that rappelled from the helicopter were closing in on them. Gaz finally got the basement door open.

"The door's open sir," Gaz told Price.

"Get in the house! Go, go!" Price yelled out. Soap entered first, then Nikolai and Gaz. Naruto noticed the shinobi were still trying to fight the incoming troops.

"What the fucking hell are you stupid ninjas waiting for?!" Naruto snapped. "Get down those stairs!"

Kakashi should've been a little angry for Naruto yelling at him with his seniority being into question, but right now he didn't have time to argue. He had to get his team to safety.

"Team 7," Kakashi told his squad, "Fall back into the house!"

Team 7 reluctantly agreed and ran down the basement. Naruto created a few shadow clones to cover him, Price, and Hoyt as they entered the basement. Once they were inside, the clones dispersed.

"That was some piss poor aim back there," Naruto told Team 7. The Leaf Shinobi didn't say anything. "Still, that was good thinking back there with that Fireball Jutsu, Uchiha," Naruto admitted. He then gave them each a quick demonstration on how to reload their weapons and told them to keep their weapons on semi-auto to save on ammo. Soap gave two spare magazines to Sai for his M4A1, bringing up Sai's total load to 6 spare magazines, plus the recently reloaded one in his rifle.

"Alright, Soap, Fox, take point and scout ahead for an exit," Price told Soap.

"Yes sir," they both nodded. They both went up ahead with Gaz closely behind them, followed by Team 7, Price, and Hoyt. Soap and Naruto make it up the stairs and fire on some soldiers out the window. They make it through the house and are about to enter the kitchen when Naruto notices something being thrown in.

"Flashbang!" They both cover their eyes to avoid being blinded. They notice three enemy soldiers entering the kitchen through the backdoor. They open fire and kill them. The others make it to the top through the kitchen, with Sasuke and Kakashi grabbing spare magazines for their Mini-Uzi and MP5 respectively off the corpses of the enemy soldiers. Sakura grabbed a few magazines for her AK-47. When they got outside, they didn't hear the helicopter anymore, or notice any more soldiers outside the house.

"It's too quiet…," Hoyt notices, "Where the hell did they go?"

"They're probably regrouping," Gaz guessed, "Trying to cut us off somewhere up ahead."

"Stay sharp," Price orders. Everyone nods. They move up towards another farming building looking out for more hostiles where they heard dogs barking. They see a group of dogs coming after them Soap got his pistol out and put down each of the attack dogs with a single .45 caliber bullet. But the dogs were just the first wave. More Ultranationalist forces converged on their location. The team fights back through to the courtyard where several more soldiers met them with automatic fire. Soap fired a grenade from his M203 into a car near some soldiers, and the car exploded taking some soldiers along with it. They take out the remaining hostiles with relative ease.

"Hold on – the helicopter's back," Gaz points out. Everyone saw the Mi-8 Hip in the distance flying towards a different direction.

"It doesn't look like they know where we are," Price says, "Let's keep it that way." He opens a fence and scans the area for hostiles.

"Alright let's press on. Move," Price signals the others letting them know it was clear. They go through the courtyard fence and enter a shallow riverbed. They see a truck pull up with a few soldiers coming out overlooking the bridge.

"Hold up," Soap stops them, "sentries on the bridge ahead."

"Move right, let them pass," Price ordered. They move to the right side of the river avoid getting spotted. The helicopter comes back around scanning the riverbed with its searchlight.

"Stay out of the spotlight." Everyone hugged the wall of the right side of the river as the helicopter scanned the riverbed with its searchlight. Once it finished it flew away to search in other areas for them.

"Let's move, but stay low," Price tells the team. They make it to a hayfield where there was a group of Ultranationalist soldiers with flashlights searching the field for the team. It was silently decided that the shinobi would try to take them out quietly while the SAS soldiers would try and sneak past them. Kakashi snuck up behind one of the stragglers outside of the group, covered his mouth and stabbed him with his kunai. Sasuke took two shurikens and threw them at a pair of Ultranationalists searching behind some hay bales. Sai snuck behind the last one and strangled him with a wire string garrote. Once they were clear they headed to the greenhouses. But as soon as they got there, they heard some cars come by with some soldiers coming out. They apparently were coming to check up on the search when they discovered the dead bodies. This didn't go unnoticed by Naruto.

"They found the bodies," Naruto told the group. They were in a bind. The suppressors on their weapons had long since worn out, so if they opened fire, they would give away their position. But if they didn't, they would just delay the inevitable about being discovered. Just when they thought it couldn't get any worse, they noticed one soldier looking in their direction. He shouted to his comrades that they were in the greenhouse.

"We're compromised! Open fire!" Gaz exclaimed. They opened fire on all sides as enemies were coming in around them. They then heard the familiar sound of helicopter blades.

"Watch out for the helicopter!" Hoyt exclaimed. Said helicopter opened fire with it's door mounted machine guns. The team scrambled to find cover from the helicopter's machine guns while also fighting their way through enemies. They make it through the greenhouses to some wrecked and abandoned houses.

"That helicopter's making another pass, find some overhead cover!" Price tells the group. They fight their way to a barn, where they saw some Ultranationalists retreat into. Price fires a grenade from his grenade launcher into the barn to take out some of the soldiers in the barn. Soap and Naruto each throw a flashbang into the barn before clearing it of hostiles. When the barn was clear, they saw a cache of FIM-92 Stinger missiles on top of some crates. How they got there was anyone's guess, but now was not the time to question the logic of how NATO missiles ended up in Russia.

"Captain Price, we've got Stinger missiles in the barn!" Gaz tells Price.

"Soap, grab a Stinger and take out that chopper! Move!" Price tells Soap.

"I'm on it! Cover me!" Soap replies as he grabs a Stinger missile. Everyone fires at the chopper to cover Soap. Soap lines up the helicopter with the Stinger's targeting computer. Once he's locked on, he fires the missile. The missile tracks its target, but the helicopter pops flares to evade the missile. This unfortunately succeeds in confusing the missile as it hits one of the flares.

"Bloody hell, he's popping flares!" Soap exclaimed.

"It's never easy," Gaz replies, "Soap, grab another Stinger and fire again! Let's put him to the test!"

Soap runs back into the barn and grabs another Stinger. They once more give Soap some covering fire. Sakura saw the door gunner in her sights, and opened fire on him, hoping that he could at least distract him. But apparently, she got lucky as shit hit the gunner in the head, and his corpse fell from the helicopter. This gave Soap the opportunity to fire another missile at the helicopter, and this time the Stinger ignored the flares and hit the tail of the Mi-8 Hip. The helicopter started spinning out of control as it crashed to the ground. Everyone let out a sigh of relief when the helicopter exploded once it made contact with the ground. Some nice payback if you will. The Ultranationalists shot down the SAS's chopper, now they shot down theirs.

"Nice shooting there Soap, believe it," Naruto complimented Soap.

"No problem, Fox," Soap replied.

"Good work, Soap," Price said being impressed with Soap's ability to keep his cool under fire. "Everyone on me. Let's move out. We're not out of the woods yet."

They went back inside to regroup with Price. Naruto saw a PKM machine gun in the back of a truck that was parked outside the barn. He pulled out a sealing scroll and put his rifle in the scroll, along with the remaining Stingers in the barn to take back to friendly lines, as well as the manifest for the missiles. They can figure out how the Ultranationalists got their hands on them later. For now he grabbed the PKM from the back of the truck, along with some spare belts of ammo.

"This'll be useful," Naruto said as he looked to Price for approval. Price nodded. Even if it was a bit heavy, some extra firepower could help them get out. Once everyone regrouped, they made it out of the barn and headed up to the road. They saw Ultranationalists blockading a bridge with infantry, trucks, and a T-72 Main Battle Tank. They new they weren't gonna pass that without heavier firepower, much more than the machine gun that Naruto grabbed. Luckily, Baseplate came on the radio with some good news.

"Bravo 6, be advised, that AC-130 is entering your airspace at this time. Out," Baseplate said.

"Alright, the gunship's here," Price said, "Everyone get your IR strobes ready to mark our location to the gunship." The SAS troopers got out their strobes and turned them on, while giving spares to Nikolai and the Leaf shinobi. Once they had them turned on, the AC-130's Fire Control Officer, or FCO came on the radio.

"Bravo 6, this is Wildfire standing by. Heard you could use some help down there, over."

"Wildfire, this is Bravo 6. We're Northeast to a road with a petrol station and a bridge. Confirm you have visual on us, over," Price spoke to the FCO on the radio.

"Roger, we see you. Call the shots."

"Wildfire – fire mission – danger close. Enemy armor and infantry 100 meters to the Southwest of our location, over."

"Copy," the FCO confirmed, "Coming down."

Everyone heard the loud boom of the AC-130's 105mm cannon taking out the tank along with mopping up the infantry with its other cannons. As they were bearing down their massive fire power, they hit the gas station which lit up in a giant fireball, taking out any infantry caught in the blast radius.

"Whoa that's bloody outrageous mate!" Gaz cheered on. Naruto, Hoyt, and Nikolai cheered on the at the destruction while the Leaf shinobi just looked at the carnage at what the unseen gunship could do to an enemy in their way. They knew the Western powers were not a force to be underestimated. The AC-130 gunship ceased fire as the FCO came on the radio.

"Bravo 6, we'll cover you all the way to the extraction zone. You'd better get moving."

"Roger that Wildfire. We're moving now. Out," Price responded. He turned to the group, "Come on, let's go!"

Everyone nodded as they made their way past the flaming wreckage across the bridge on their way to the extraction zone, with the help of the fearsome AC-130H Spectre gunship.

And that'll wrap up this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it.

Air support has finally arrived to provide Bravo Team and Team 7 the cover they'll need to make it to the extraction zone. Will they succeed? Find out in the next chapter.

Next time:

"We have armed personnel coming out of the church, request permission to engage."

"Copy. You are cleared to engage the moving vehicle, and any personnel around you see."
