The Capitol

One day after the Reaping for the 100th Hunger Games.

"Welcome back to another Pre games report, brought to you by Aurelia" The announcer spoke as the cameras turned to live and she turned her chair to better the camera. "It has now been a day since the reaping and it's finally time to reveal the tributes to the Capitol officially!"

She grabbed the stack of cards from the table and flicked through them for a moment.

"And now for the tributes. Representing District One are Flare and Grayson Lockwood. From District two are Mrycella Addair and Evander Soren." She herself was excited by Evander's appearance. "District Three is represented by Ramiro Gonźalez-Lòpez and December Vaughn. Chosen from District Four are Reid Thasos and Ikarus Pyxis. District Five's tributes are Ruon Mattis and Damara Estridge. Kassidy Kane and Delaware Spires are the Tributes from District Six." Cheers could be heard from the center of the Capitol from which people were watching the live broadcast.

"From District Seven, the tributes are Ay Tak and Sylvia Falcon. Chosen from District Eight, you have Sterling Nadir and Velveta Devi. District Nine will have Astrid Santos and Percy Chalamet. District Ten's tributes are Logan Smalls and Chloe Crystal."

Taking a pause, she let out a breath.

"Then to round out the tributes are Chive Winfield and Maleae Picket from Eleven and Bitsy Flavis as well as Orpheus Rashomon!"

Aurelia took a sip of water from the glass on the table. "Now with the tributes revealed it's time to get your votes in! Voting will last until the morning of the tribute parade where they will be revealed slightly beforehand!"

With a goodbye towards the camera, the host let out a long sigh as she leaned back against the chair. The Games were finally back and they would be absolutely amazing that year. Voting would allow the Game Makers to know how the Capitol felt towards the tributes which knowing how the Game Makers were, would use that towards the tributes in the Game.

Livia instantly reached for the phone as soon as the tribute reveal was complete. Flavia picked up on the first ring.

"Oh my god, this is going to be so exciting!" she cried to her friend, a grin on her face.

"I know! What do you think of them so far?"

"I absolutely love the Career districts but the female from Five is interesting! And don't forget the weak looking ones. Those are going to be the most fun to watch and see if they can survive the bloodbath this year."

"Couldn't have said it better myself. I love Four's tributes, I just wonder if they're going to pair up with the Careers this year or not."

"They seem strong enough to join them, but they might find others to ally with. So who knows?"

"All I know is that this year is going to be absolutely epic."

Absolutely epic they would be.
