Chapter 1: Welcome to Teyvat, Mondstadt
"And done. There, that should do it" Lumine finished pack him up. Luckily, she has some bandages with her while she was on the journey with her brother
"Hey, is he going to be ok? He seems to be not waking up soon" Paimon asked in worry
"Don't worry, Paimon. He's going to be ok. He looks exhausted so let him rest a little bit" Lumine calmed Her down
"His clothes are different. Perhaps he is from another world like you?" Paimon asked
"Well, I can tell he isn't from here. All the best we can do is waiting for him to wake up and asking him where he is from" Lumine told her and she nodded
30 minutes later
Lumine and Paimon have been waiting for 30 minutes and yet he isn't waking up. Lumine just caught the fish and she started cooking for her and Paimon
"Paimon think he isn't waking up" Paimon looked at the unconscious boy and looked back at her food
"He must be got a tough fight so he need rest more" Lumine said and started eating her food
Suddenly, the boy groans, Lumine and Paimon notice, and they come closer to him. The boy woke up and put his hand on his head. He opens his eyes and sees two people are looking at him as the blonde girl says first
"You ok, there?" She asked him and the boy answered "Yeah. I'm ok. Thanks for taking care of me"
"No problem. And be careful, I just packed you up. Looks like you got a huge fight" Lumine warned him "So, tell me where are you from"
"I'm from planet Earth. And my name is Boboiboy" the boy introduced him to her. "I'm Lumine and this is my traveling partner, Paimon"
"Hi!" Paimon waved
"What happened to you? Why are you covered with some injuries?" Lumine asked him
"Well, I was fighting the powerful enemy, Retak'ka" Boboiboy answered
"Who's Retak'ka?"
"He's an evil alien, who absorbs elemental powers from a different planet to get stronger" Boboiboy told them
"Yikes! You fought that guy?!" Paimon asked
"Yep! I managed to get all the elements back from him with some help from my friends. He was absorbing my elements because he told me that was his Elemental Powers. But Tok Kasa told me that he was absorbing those elements from different owners" Boboiboy replied
"Tok Kasa?" Lumine asked
"Oh, his name is Hang Kasa. But we called him Tok Kasa because he's old just like I called my grandpa Tok Aba" Boboiboy told him. "Ooohhh"
"Ok, so I was here to training under Tok Kasa to get stronger before I start fighting him again"
"Here? On which planet?" Lumine asked "Quabaq? I'm on planet Quabaq, right?"
"Paimon don't think you are on the planet Quabaq that you called right now. You're on planet Teyvat" Paimon told them
"Wait, so that means I'm on another planet?" Boboiboy said and they nodded. "I just saw you dropped out from the cubes. I think the unknown god did this" Lumine said
"Huh? Cubes?" Boboiboy confused. "Let me explain what is it and including me"
Lumine began telling him about her and her brother, even telling him that she and her brother got separated by the unknown god and ended up in Teyvat. Boboiboy surprised and felt sad that she got separated from her brother just like his siblings got taken away by Retak'ka
"I'm... sorry for your loss " Boboiboy said
"It's ok. If me and my brother got separated from this world then that means he must be somewhere on this planet so I will start finding him" Lumine said with a small smile
"So, can you explain about planet Teyvat?" Boboiboy asked
"Oh Oh. Paimon can explain. Planet Teyvat is a fantasy world where the seven elements flow and converge!" Paimon explained. "Woah... this is exactly a planet Retak'ka would attack..."
"Really?"
"Yes. I did tell you that he absorbed elemental powers from a different planet to get stronger. If he knew this planet, he may absorb it. It's really dangerous" Boboiboy told them and Paimon shook in fear
"What will you do from now on?" Lumine asked
"Eh... Well, it's not like I could build a spaceship or anything. All the best option is waiting for my friends to find me" Boboiboy scratches his cheek as he smiles sheepishly
"Maybe, I can help you to find your brother" Boboiboy said and that makes her surprised."Really? You will help me out?"
"Yes. I will help you until my friends come to pick me up. I think they're searching for me so I'll be waiting for them" Boboiboy said with a smile
"Thank you, Boboiboy" Lumine thanked him. "No problem. Awesome! (Terbaik!)" Boboiboy gave her a thumb-up
"C'mon. We should get going!" Paimon told them as they get up and follow Paimon. They saw something is jumping around. It's a Hydro Slime
"Yikes! It's a Hydro Slime!" Paimon said in fear
"Let me handle it!" Lumine summons the sword from the air and sly it a few times and it disappears. She puts her sword back as the sword disappears and they continue to follow Paimon until they found the red stone
"What's this?" Boboiboy asked
"Oh. It's the Teleport Waypoint! It allows you to teleport in the location that you have unlocked!" Paimon explained to them so Lumine touches it and it's unlocked
"C'mon. Let's keep going!" Paimon told them and they nodded as they continue to follow. They are in the forest now
"So, where are we off to, Paimon?" Lumine asked her. "Oh. We're off to... a Statue of The Seven!"
They continue to walk and see the view of the world. As for Paimon, she found the statue "There! That's a Statue of The Seven!"
"There are a few of these statues scattered across the land to show The Seven's protection over the world" Paimon explained
"Really?" Boboiboy asked
"Yep! Among the seven gods, this god controls the wind" Paimon added and turned to Lumine "Paimon's not sure whether the god you're looking for is the Anemo God, but... Paimon'll take you to the Anemo God's place first, and there's a reason why"
"Well, c'mon! Let's see that statue!" Boboiboy said in excitement. But it's actually Wind control him because he just heard the God controls wind
"Hey! Wait up!" Paimon and Lumine followed him
"So, Paimon. Can you tell me more about Anemo?" Boboiboy(Wind's personality) asked
'Huh, is just me or his personality just change?' Lumine noticed
"Well. As we all know, poetry and Language flow like wind" Paimon said and turned to Lumine "There'll definitely be someone there who knows about your brother. At least, that's what Paimon thinks!"
"Whether the gods actually answer you is a different story. You never know unless you try"
As they continue walking and they saw the statue is almost near. "I think we are almost there" Lumine said
They walked, swam over it and they finally reached the statue
"Wow, so this is the statue of The Seven" Boboiboy felt amazed
Lumine walks closer and touches the statue. The statue starts glowing and gathers all in the orb on its hands. The energy from the orb comes out and goes over to Lumine. Her gloves and earring is glowing light green. She checks and feels the energy of Anemo inside her
"Lumine. Did you feel something inside?" Boboiboy asked her
"Yes. I can feel the energy inside me" Lumine checks herself again
"Seems all you had to do was just touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo" Paimon told them and Boboiboy said in excitement "Really?! She has the wind element!"
"Yep! Seems like it! Why don't you try it out?" Paimon asked her "Ok"
She puts her hand out and the wind starts gathering all on her hand. It created the vortex "Wind blade!"
"That's awesome!" Wind is in Boboiboy's control and gave her thumb-up
"Paimon agreed too! Well, as much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you.." Paimon said with arms-crossed
"I think I know why, it's because..." Lumine tried to say the last part
"Ah-ha, it's because you're not from this world to begin with. As for Boboiboy, you are from different planet. Maybe you will need the Vision to use the elements from different gods" Paimon told them
"Vision?" Boboiboy asked and Paimon explained "Vision is a gift bestowed upon those who dwell in Teyvat and are recognized by the Gods. They grant the user elemental abilities based on the element of their given Vision. It is said that those with Visions have a chance of ascending to Celestia and attaining godhood themselves. Wielders of visions are called allogenes, though this is not a widely-known term"
"I see. Well, I don't need them. I already have Elemental Powers" Boboiboy told her. "Really?! Which?!"
"Maybe we should get going so we can have conversation" Boboiboy said. "Right! If we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Mondstadt, the city of Freedom. Mondstadt is the city of wind, because they workship the God of Anemo"
"So perhaps, because you got power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there" Paimon told Lumine
Inside Boboiboy's mind
Light is writing down some information in his notebook. Earth saw this and asked him "What are you doing, Light?"
"I'm writing some information about this planet because when I heard Paimon said this planet contained 7 elements is same as you guys. Not only that, the elements on this planet have been born by Archons. I'm not sure if they are still alive" Light answered
"It's really awesome! If I meet the God who controls a wind element, we will have so much!" Wind said excitedly
"Me too! I want to meet the Fire Archon! If the Fire Archon like battling then I will have a spar!" Fire said and eager to fight the Fire Archon
"Me three! I want to meet the Thorn Archon too!" Leaf said excitedly
"Stop it. You three" Mama Earth sent out the dark aura "Yes sir!" The Trio Trouble Maker do TAPOPS salute
"Would you guys keep the voice down? I'm sleeping here" Water felt sleepy while hugging the whale plush
Back to Boboiboy, Lumine, and Paimon
Now they start walking until something is flying. It was a huge dragon
"What?! What is that?!" Boboiboy gasped in shock
"There's something huge in the sky!" Paimon said
"C'mon. Let's check what is it!" Lumine told them
They start heading to the forest where the huge dragon was. They are looking around and Paimon saw something up ahead
"Huh. Look at that!" Paimon pointed in the direction as they hear the growling and start hiding behind the tree. They take a peek and see the boy is talking to the dragon
"... Don't be afraid" the boy calms the dragon down "... It's alright now, I'm back"
"Is he talking ... to the dragon?" Paimon asked and suddenly the Anemo energy from Lumine starts bursting. It caused a noise and the dragon started roaring and tried to hit the boy. The boy has heard something"Who's there!?"
The dragon roared again as the boy started disappearing. The dragon has flew away
"That was close! Paimon almost got blown away!" Paimon sighed in relief "Luckily Paimon managed to grab your hair! Thanks"
"Good thing the dragon didn't notice us" Lumine said
"Just what was that? Paimon thought we were gonna get eaten. It definitely has something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon..."
"I can't believe dragon exist in this world..." Boboiboy commented "Yeah, Paimon gets why you're worried..."
"Hey, guys. I saw something up there" Boboiboy pointed
"There's some kind of shiny red thingy..."
"Let's take a closer look" Lumine told and they started walking towards the red crystal
"Paimon's never seen a stone like this before, So Paimon can't tell what it is. But Paimon think we should put it away from now"
"Ok" Lumine picked it up and put it in her inventory
"C'mon, we should keep going" Boboiboy told them as they continue walking. Now, Paimon has something wanted to ask Boboiboy
"So, Boboiboy. You said you have Elemental Powers then how many elements do you have?"
"Well, I have seven elements" Boboiboy answered "Really? What is it?"
"I have Earth, Lightning, Wind, Fire, Water, Leaf, and Light"
"Whoa. It's almost the same as the elements on Tevyat. We have Geo, Electro, Anemo, Pyro, Hydro, Dendro, and Cryo. It means Earth, Lightning, Wind, Fire, Water, Thorn or Leaf and Ice. Expect for Light, we don't have that element"
"So, where did you get these Elemental Powers from?" Lumine asked him
"I got this from my friend, Octobot. He's a robot but not just a normal one. He's Power Sphera"
"Power Sphera?" Both of them asked
"It's a round robot with personalities like humans"
"Really?"
"Yes but there are more Power Spheras. They come in different sizes but they're always round. Power Spheras are highly advanced robots that can give power to anyone. In my case, Ochobot gave me elemental manipulation" Boboiboy explained
"So, who's built those things?" Lumine asked
"I'm not exactly sure but they were built in a planet called Ata Ta Tiga as protectors of the galaxy until their creators became corrupted. They rebelled and fled to different locations in the universe, now they're hunted down by a lot of people who want their powers"
"Yikes! That's really dangerous!" Paimon said
"I know. That's why we TAPOPS are taking the hunter down!" Boboiboy said proudly
"TAPOPS?
"TAPOPS is standing for Tracker and Protector of Power Spheras. We are finding and protecting the Power Spheras from the hunters" Boboiboy explained
"Boboiboy. Care to explain about your Elemental Powers?" Lumine asked to know more about his Elemental Powers
"Well, I can split myself into 2 or 7" Boboiboy said and they surprised
"Wait. You can split yourself?" Paimon asked
"Yeah. I can only split from 2 to 7. Essentially the elemental split produces 'copies', but still pertaining to each form that is called upon. Therefore, the elemental forms are their own people, each with a unique personality that in one way or other ties back our original personality. During the elemental split, we also use our own elemental names too" Boboiboy explained
"Whoa"
"Anything else?"
"Well. I have the second tier of Elements. They like an evolved form of them. About the third tier, I don't have it. I only see the third tier of Elements from Retak'ka. And that's all I knew about elements" Boboiboy finished explaining and they continue walking until they heard someone called them from behind "Hey, you! Stop right there!"
It's a girl, who's running and jumping over the cliff and she lands right in front of them
She has long, dark brown hair, gold eyes, and fair skin. She wears a jumper-like outfit composed of dark brown leather shorts, a red hoodie-like top, red stockings, and white thigh-high boots embellished with gold linings and symbols.
Her accessories include a leather belt with two small bags, and her Pyro Vision attached, gloves, a small belt on her right thigh, and gold-framed goggles. Her most distinguishing feature is the headband with the large red bow that rests on her head, resembling the shape of bunny ears
"May the Anemo God protect you, stranger!" The girl said. "I'm Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius." She introduced herself and did a salute
"You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourself!" Amber is suspected of them and wanted the answers
"Excuse me. We're not looking for trouble" Boboiboy waved his hands
"That's what all the troublemakers say" Amber doesn't believe them
"Hello. I'm Lumine" Lumine introduced
"Hi there. Err... I'm Boboiboy" Boboiboy introduced himself and didn't want to cause any trouble
"... Doesn't sound like a local name to me" Amber said and turned to Paimon "and this ... mascot, what's the deal with it?"
"We're friends" Lumine answered
"We're only been traveling partners for two months, but... for Boboiboy, we just met today" Paimon added
"So to sum it up, you're traveling partners, right?" Amber questioned "Well look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt recently. Best you get inside the city as soon as possible"
"It's not far from here, I'll escort you there"
"Oh? Aren't you out here for some other reason?" Paimon asked
"I am. But not to worry, I can keep you three safe while doing that too" Amber answered
"Thank you for helping us" Boboiboy thanked her
"Yeah and besides... I'm still not sure if I can trust you three just yet!"
"Why so suspicious?" Lumine felt annoyed a little
"Oh, ahh... I'm sorry. Probably not something I should say as a knight" Amber apologized to them "I give you my apologies, uh... strange yet... respectable travelers"
"Well, It's ok. We know you can't trust the stranger. They may be a bad one" Boboiboy told her
"Well, C'mon. I will show you three to Mondstadt" Amber told them as they follow her
"So, suspicious travelers, what are you doing in Mondstadt?" Amber asked
"I got separated from my brother during the journey" Lumine answered
"That's right. She got separated. And Paimon is just her travel buddy, helping her to find her brother" Paimon added. "Oh, looking for your family... Huh"
"So, what about you, Boboiboy? What're you doing here in Mondstadt?" Amber asked Boboiboy
"Well. I got knocked out during the journey and ended with them. I don't know how did I end up with them. When I heard Lumine got separated from her brother so I decided to help her until my friends come to find me" Boboiboy answered "I see"
"Sorry, what were we saying?" Paimon asked
"Ah... Okay! Let me finish my other stuff first, and then I can help you put up posters around the city..."
"Anyway... What exactly is it you need to finish doing first?" Paimon asked "It's simple. You'll understand in a bit"
As they continue following Amber to help her out something. And they saw something on the hill
"Hey, what's that?" Boboiboy pointed at the creature "Ah! A hilichurl!"
"Quick! Get it!" Amber told them as she summoned the bow and shot hilichurl. Lumine summoned the sword and slashed it
"These monsters have been getting too close to the city recently. My task this time is clear out their camp"
They keeps following Amber until they found the camp. They have found the camp. Not too many but they have a bigger
"This is not good. They brought Mitachurl. I should bring Kaeya with me. This is going to be difficult"
"Let me handle the big one" Boboiboy said and she surprised "Wait. Are you sure? You don't have a weapon with you"
"Don't worry. I'll be fine" Boboiboy answered honestly. However, Amber doesn't know if he can handle it but Lumine told her "Just trust him. He knows what he is doing" "Ok"
"Thank you. Elemental Power! Boboiboy Earth!" His clothes changed into brown
"Eh?! Your clothes can change color?" Amber surprised. "I'll explain it later. Right now, we have to deal with those thing" Earth told her
As they come out of their hiding and start fighting hilichurls. Amber shot the one with crossbow and Lumine slashed two hilichurls with weapons. As for Boboiboy or Earth, he is fighting Mitachurl
Mitachurl tries to punch him but Earth dodges his punch and punches the ground "Earth Punch!". The ground is shaking as the earth comes out and hits Mitachurl into the face. Mitachurl groans in pain and feels angry. He punches the earth and is ready to punch him but Earth hits the ground with both of his fists "Earth Barrier!". The strong wall of earth protects him
Mitachurl punches it many times but it didn't work. Mitachurl still punches it and still didn't work. "Multiple Earth Punch!" Earth punches the ground many times as the earth keeps hitting Mitachurl. And Mitachurl gets knocked out unconscious
Amber, Lumine, and Paimon are surprised at his strength. They already deal with hilichurls. Earth reversed back to his original form
"I guess he's unconscious" Boboiboy looked at unconscious Mitachurl and turned to them. "What's wrong?"
"So, this is the power of your earth element?!" Paimon surprised
"It's really strong, though. I guess there are still more of your elements" Lumine said
"Hehe" Boboiboy scratched his cheek as he felt embarrassed when someone praised him
"Sorry for interrupting. But she said there are more of your elements. Does that mean you have 7 elements?!" Amber asked him in shocked
"Yes. I was born with 7 elements" Boboiboy answered and he didn't want them to know that he's from another planet. But for Amber, she was even shocked more, she never heard someone who was born with 7 elements in this world
She snapped out of shock and said "W-Well, As for you, Lumine. You surprised me a little with your move there... And thanks for the backup, you two. How'd it feel?"
"Those things are tougher than they look" Lumine answered
"Yeah. I'm feeling great for helping people out" Boboiboy added
Inside Boboiboy's Mind
"Hmph. They are weak, though. I can finish them off in 5 second" Lightning said with arm-crossed
"Nah. I can finish with my fire!" Fire smiles darkly as his hand on fire
Back to them
"Now that you mention it, how is it the hilichurls ended up here?" Paimon asked in curious and held her chin "These creatures don't seem like a type to set up camp so close to cities like this"
"Exactly, it's more normal for them to be much further out in the wilderness" Amber said
"Is it because the dragon caused this?" Boboiboy asked her but actually Light asked her
"Yes. That's maybe true. The dragon - Stormterror - has been around a lot more recently, our orchards have been destroyed and the local market has been affected as well" Amber explained
"When the storms hit, we usually end up with at least a few injuries, so the Knight of Favonius have been tired up doing the best they can to defend the area" Amber continued
"So these creatures have been getting closer to the city?" Lumine asked. "Exactly. That said, clearing this camp helped make the area a little bit safer"
"Come with me! A responsible knight must make sure to see you to the city safely" Amber told him and they nodded
They continue following Amber to the city and they finally make it to the city of Mondstadt
"Let me officially introduce the city of wind, dandelions, and freedom - Travelers under the protection of the Knights of Favonius - Welcome to Mondstadt!"
"Well, thanks for introducing for us" Boboiboy said with a smile
"Yeah, we really appreciate that" Lumine thanked her
"No worry. I'm the Knight of Favonius. We are always welcome the travelers" Amber told them
"Hehehe. Awesome! (Terbaik!)" Boboiboy gave her a thumb-up
"Finally, no more having to camp outdoors! But... the city folk don't look too cheery" Paimon commented
"Everyone's been put out of place by Stormterror recently. But everything will turn out fine as long as Jean's with us!" Amber told them
"Jean?" three of them asked at the same times
"Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius - Jean, Defender of Mondstadt. With Jean on our side, surely even the vicious Stormterror will be no match for us"
Inside Boboiboy's mind
"I don't think it would be enough safety for them" Light said
"Whatever. I can deal with that dragon" Lightning said
"Lightning, No. They are needing our help so we help them out" Earth told Lightning "Yes sir"
Back to them
'Sounds like someone pretty impressive...' Lumine thought
"Before I take you guys to the Knights of Favonius headquarters, I have a present for you two, Boboiboy and Lumine" Amber said
"A present?" two of them said "It's a reward for helping me clear out that hilichurl camp"
"H-hey! Why doesn't Paimon get a reward?" Paimon felt annoyed "Ahh.. Because this reward is useless to you, Paimon"
"But I'll treat you to a traditional Mondstadt delicacy - Sticky Honey Roast" Amber said and Paimon felt excited "Sticky Honey Roast!"
"Come with me, we'll head to the city's ahh... high ground" Amber told them and they followed her
