The next day, while he was helping wash the dishes, Tanjuro's Crow arrived. "Mr Kamado. Your Kasugai Crow just flew in through the window" Kanna called, walking over to him with the bird perched on her arm. "Oh! Do I have a Mission?" Tanjuro asked, as he dried his hands. The Crow then spoke up, "Tanjuro Kamado. You and your two Eldest children have been given a Mission! You are you head to the Mugan train, where casualties are on the rise! Meet up with Kyojuro Rengoku on site! Head West at once! Head West at once!" the Crow cawed. The Demon nodded, "alright. I'll go let Tanjiro and Nezuko know. Thank you for the information" Tanjuro replied.
The Crow bobbed his head, then turned and flew out of the window. "Well then. I have a lot to do. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but-" Tanjuro began, but Kanna cut him off with a pat his shoulder, "we'll take care of your children Mr Kamado. Just focus on what you have to do now" she said firmly. The Kamado Demon smiled, "thank you very much" he replied. Tanjuro then went to tell all of his children about his new Mission.

"What?! You've got a new Mission already?!" Shigeru whined. Tanjuro had gathered all of his children into a group to tell them all at once. "Yes we do. People need help, the way your Brother's and Sister's did" Tanjuro explained, gesturing to his adopted children. "But don't they have any other Demon Slayers to fight? Why does it always have to be you Dad?!" Genya asked. "Yeah! You don't have to do all the Missions! You should get to have a break sometimes," Teiko agreed, with Sumi and Hanako nodding beside her. "It's not fair! Just because you're a Demon Slayer, doesn't mean you have to go on Missions all the time!" the youngest Kamado Sister agreed.
"Can't you let someone else do this Mission Dad?" Hiroshi asked, as Shuya tugged on his Kimono, "yeah Daddy! Someone else can do it!" he whined. "Papa don't go!" Rokuta sobbed, clinging to his Kimono, alongside Koto. Tanjuro patted their backs, "now, now. I'll be fine. I promise I'll be back in no time, okay? Until I do, I need you to look after your Mother's for me, since Kie and Shizu wanted to stay here" he requested. Takeo crossed his arms, "but you're taking Tanjiro and Nezuko on your Mission!" he said with a scowl. "They're both Demon Slayers who've been given this Mission as well. We'll be back before you know it" Tanjuro replied.
He gently placed his two youngest children down on the floor, "now, be good for the Kanroji's until I come back, okay?" he asked. Shizu walked up to him then, "I-I'm, coming with you t-too" she said firmly. "What?!" Hiroshi cried, while Koto clung onto his Mother's Kimono. "No Mama!" he wailed. Tanjuro frowned, "Shizu, I was going to have you stay here to help look after all of the children, especially yours" he said in confusion. "I'm o-o-one of your D-Demons too. I will help y-you L-Lord Tanjuro" the small Demon woman replied firmly. "Mama!" her youngest Son sobbed. Shizu knelt down and pulled him into her lap. "Mama, o-owes Lord T-Tanjuro ev-everything. If it w-weren't for h-him, n-none of us wo-would be here. I have to s-serve him. He is my M-master" Shizu explained gently.
Koto and Hiroshi sniffled, as Genya picked up his youngest Brother. Shuya and Teiko wiped their eyes, "you'd better come back. Both of you" Sumi said seriously, holding in her tears. "Of course we will" Tanjuro replied, patting them on the heads. Then he hugged his other children, "please take care of them for us, as well as Haruka, okay Takeo, Hanako?" he asked the two oldest of his children who would be there. "We will Dad. And we'll take care of Mommy too" Hanako replied seriously. Tanjuro smiled, "we'll be back soon-" he began, before he sensed his other two Demons running up, "wait! We're here!" Sayuri cried, interrupting him, "don't leave without us!"
Tanjuro looked over at Yukito and Sayuri in confusion, "I thought you were helping the Kanroji's out?" he asked. "Mrs Kanroji told us you have a Mission, so we're here! Why didn't you tell us Mr Kamado?!" the little Demon girl demanded to know, hugging his side. "Because I wasn't going to bring you. I wanted you to stay here and protect my children while I was gone" Tanjuro explained. "I'm sorry Lord Tanjuro, but there is no way we're leaving you. You are our Master, so if you have a Mission, we do too. Besides, Miss Kanroji is here now. All of the children will be perfectly safe here, even if we did stay. So we're coming Master" Yukito said firmly.
"No way Sayuri. You may be a Demon, but you're only a child. And I promised you that I would never let you get hurt again. If you come on this mission, you will be hurt, so I can't let you come" Tanjuro said firmly. Sayuri clenched her fists, "I am a Demon, and one of your Demons Mr Kamado. You saved m from Rui, and gave me a new family. And since I am your Demon now, that means I have to serve you. I am going to help you like you helped me, no matter what!" she said in determination. Tanjuro sighed, deciding that he wouldn't be able to convince the two of them to stay here, and nodded, "alright, the three of you are coming with me then. But my Wife is staying here" he said firmly.
He turned back to look at his children, who had been joined by Haruko while he was talking to his Demons, "I'll see you all soon. Be good for your Mother and the Kanroji's" he said, before the four of them left the Love Estate, calls of 'be safe!' and 'come back soon!' behind them.

Tanjuro, Shizu, Yukito and Sayuri left the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters immediately after that, running West as fast as they could. "Mr Tanjuro?!" Sayuri called as they ran. "Yes? What is it?!" he called back. "What's a train?! The Crow said we were going to it, right?!" the black-haired girl asked. "Oh! I guess you wouldn't know! A train is a vehicle for transporting humans over long distances fast! It can carry a lot of humans at once, and usually takes a few hours to reach each destination!" Yukito explained. "Oh! Because humans aren't as fast as us, right?!" Sayuri asked.
"That. And humans don't have the ability to travel so far for so long without getting exhausted. So they invented vehicles like cars and trains to take them" Tanjuro added onto Yukito's explanation. After that they grew silent and continued to run. "Now, can all of you take on human disguises?" Tanjuro asked when they were close to the Train Station. "I've been practicing my transformation ability" Yukito replied, as he concentrated. The ends of his hair slowly turned black again, and his eyes became gray. Tanjuro nodded with a smile, "good job" he said, impressed.
He turned to look at Sayuri, who focused, and the black stripes on each cheek faded away, and her eyes turned green. "Good job. Looks like you've been practicing turning into other forms besides your Spider Mother one" he praised, patting her on the head. The little Demon girl smiled up at him. Then Tanjuro turned to look at Shizu. She shifted nervously, "s-sorry," she stuttered, "I was m-more foc-cused on l-looking after m-my children" she apologized. Tanjuro shook his head, "don't apologize for that Shizu. You are their Mother, you're supposed to take care of them" he replied. The short Demon woman seemed to brighten at that. "Why don't you put your Haori and scarf on instead? I brought them just in case any of you weren't that good at shape-shifting yet" Tanjuro offered.
Shizu nodded, taking them out of the pack she'd brought with her and putting the clothing on. "Alright, let's go buy our tickets and board the train" Tanjuro said, once everyone was ready. However, as soon as Tanjuro received his ticket, he frowned. 'This ticket smells like Demon blood. I need more information before I act, but I won't let my guard down' he thought firmly. Judging by the looks his Demons were giving him as they took their tickets as well, they all noticed the smell too. As they all left the ticket booth, Tanjuro spoke to them quietly, "don't act until we have more information. It could be dangerous to reveal ourselves so soon. Not for us, but for the human passengers. So we should investigate first, alright?" he asked.
The other three Demons all nodded in understanding.

As they entered the train and moved to find seats, Yukito spoke up, "excuse me Sir. Wasn't the Flame Hashira supposed to be on this train as well?" he asked. "Yes, we should let him know that we're here, before he tries to attack us because he only sensed that we're Demons-" Tanjuro began, before stiffening, "well, what are you all doing here then?!" a voice asked loudly from ahead of them. It was worded a question, but Tanjuro knew that it was a demand. He looked ahead of them to find the flame-haired young man standing in front of them with his arms crossed over his chest.
