Malina sighs as she sat in front of her computer. She was trying to work up the nerve to at least say something.
"I can't believe Zdrada's is right!" She groans.
Since that talk, Malina couldn't stop thinking about what her sister told her. She couldn't deny it anymore. She did have a crush on a boy she never met. And they only knew each other online! She groans before facepalm on her desk.
"Why me?" She groans.
She was surprised to hear her computer ding and looked up. She saw it was from Danny and sat up. Knowing she had to get this over with, she open the PM.
"Hey, there Malina. Sorry if this is a bad time."
"No, not at all. What can I do for you?"
"Well, I realize that we talked a lot but we never saw each other outside of DOOMED. And this is going to bug me for a long time, but is there a way we can see each other? Like, send a picture of our faces?"
Malina blinks. He wants to see her face?! She could feel her face warm up, but shook it off.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I really don't want it to bug me for the rest of my life. Since we have a link, I'll send you mine first."
Malina blinks before seeing the picture. At first, she was surprised to see that he had black hair and blue eyes, which highly reminded her of an angel before remembering that all Angels were females like demons. But she found herself staring into those blue eyes, those nice, blue, shiny eyes...
"GAH!" She screams when she realizes what she was doing.
Taking a breath, Malina started to work on her picture. She was able to make it where her horns didn't show, but the hardest part was trying to smile. She tried for the past several minutes but gave up in the end. She sends her picture along with a reason for her look.
"Here. Sorry for the sour look, I can't smile for the life of me."
She waited until she heard back from him.
"Wow! I thought the white hair and red eyes were just something you made to look more threatening. But that's what you looked like?!"
Malina raise an eyebrow before she saw Danny send another message.
"Sorry! I didn't mean that! I have a bit of bad luck when it comes to cute girls. I mean...Um."
Malina blinks. He called her cute. He called her cute. HE CALLED HER CUTE!
"I am NOT cute!" She screams, blushing.
Malina took a breath before turning back to her computer.
"Don't worry about it. Just DON'T call me cute."
"Sure...sorry."
Malina sighs again, looking at the picture. She had to admit, for a human, he wasn't that bad at the look department. His black hair looked messy, but it was enough to not get in his way. His teeth were nice and white, showing he took care of them. And his blue eyes. There was something about his eyes she couldn't shake. Though she has never been to one, they looked as calm as the ocean.
"So, this is the boy you've been talking to?"
She snaps out of her thoughts when she saw Zdrada looking over her shoulder.
"ZDRADA?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" She screams.
"Seeing if you talked to the human. I got to say, despite looking like a male version of an angel, he's a cute one." She said, smirking.
"Don't even think about it!" She warned her.
"Oh, relax, Malinka. I would never steal a cute boy from you. Not unless he's too good to be true." Zdrada said, causing Malina to groan.
"Malina? Are you still there?"
Malina turns from her sister before answering.
"Yeah. My sister showed up. She saw your picture as well."
"Oh! And what did you think?"
Malina sighs, glaring at her sister's teasing smirk.
"I won't lie, I was surprised. Despite your hair looking like a mess, I can see that it suits you well. And I'm surprised on how white your teeth are. Tells me that you care about cleaning a little bit. But your eyes...well, let's just say I like them."
"Like them? Come on, Malina, you can say more than that." Zdrada said.
"Fuck off," Malina told her.
"Um, thanks? Jazz always mentions that most people like a person's eyes. I don't great what the big deal is, but if you like them then that's okay with me."
Malina could tell that Danny was trying to be modest, which was fine with her. He already showed that he wasn't a creep or a masochist. So, she could put up with his modest answer.
"He's such a dork," Zdrada said, reaching for the keyboard.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" Malina shouted, slapping her sister's hands.
Zdrada pulled them away before smirking.
"Fine, fine. But I can tell he wanted to say more." She said, taking out a cigarette.
Malina groans before turning back to her computer.
"I need to cut this short. Zdrada is pushing my buttons again."
"Sure, thanks for the picture, Malina. Good luck with your sister."
Once Danny log-off, Malina turns and growls at Zdrada.
"For once in your life, can you not be a BITCH?!" She screams, walking away.
"And that's why you love me," Zdrada smirks, taking a puff.
Meanwhile,
"Well, I can see that Zdrada was right about one thing. He does have the looks."
"Please tell me you're not falling for a human, Karma."
"I'm only agreeing with her, Whiskey."
"Don't call me that! It's Whisk!"
"Sure, sure, now to figure out where he lives and what we can do to get those two to leave..." Karma said, checking into Danny's life.
She found the full file of the human boy and was surprised to learn where he lived.
"Amity Park?!" Karma shouted, causing her sister to look over her shoulder.
"The most hunted place on earth? The town where that cute Ghost Boy lives?!" Whisk asked.
"Yes, the sight of many ghost attacks. I wonder..." Karma thought.
"Sis, what are you planning?" Whisk asked.
"I think I have a way to get those two out of our way. But we need the Queen's help." Karma said, causing her younger twin to stare at her in shock.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! What makes you think she'll agree to anything we have to say?!" Whisk asked.
"Because, if there are two demons that can handle it, it's them." Karma smirks, causing her sister to catch on.
"Ah, and while they're busy dealing with the ghosts, and that human boy, we can swoop in and take over!" Whisk smirks.
"Now you're catching on, Whiskey." Karma smirks.
"IT'S WHISK!"
Later,
Malina sighs before setting her broom down. She pulled out her phone, having saved Danny's picture on it. She was glad that she got know what he looked like and was glad that his looks weren't something he made up. She heard of the phrase, "Being Catfish" and was glad that didn't happen to her. If he turned out to be a huge, overweight, creep she heard about, she would find that person and teach him a lesson about fooling a demon!
Still, she couldn't stop looking at his blue eyes. There was something about them she couldn't take her eyes off of. Slowly, the corner of her mouth tugs upwards. She shook her head before putting her phone away. She grabs her broom and started sweeping again. As she thought about Danny, she could feel something in her chest beat. She stops and groans.
"Aw hell." She said, knowing that she could shake the feeling she was having.
"Why am I so helpless?" She groans.
Malina set the broom down, knowing that she couldn't hold back anymore. She needs to see him, but she needs to hide her horns and tail. He doesn't know she was a demon, and she didn't want to scare him away. Now, she has to explain this to the Queen.
"Malina?"
She turns to see one of the Skeleton Guards walking up to her.
"Yes?" She asked.
"The Queen needs to see you and your sister, now." It said.
Malina sighs. If it was just her, she'll have no problem, but both her and Zdrada? She had a bad feeling about this.
And another chapter. Well, Danny and Malina saw each other faces for the first time, and the Twin Demons (I would like to thank Jack Firerage for the names) have a plan to get them to meet. Another idea I have to thank Jack Firerage for. So, how are Malina and Zdrada going to get to Earth? I'll save it for the next chapter. Now, I have stated this in my other stand-alone Helltaker stories, that none of the other demon girls are going to appear. Lucifer is mentioned, but she won't be showing up. So the scene with Malina and Zdrada talking to Lucifer will not appear. But I will explain how it went. Anyway, it's time for the sisters to head to Earth and met Danny face-to-face. And I didn't forget about Jazz and Zdrada, that will happen later. I'm just a little more focus on Danny and Malina right now.
