Hello! This is the first story I have ever made. It is about what if Lance and Lysandre were brothers. This story may contain violence. I'm sorry if it's not that good. Any recommendations, critics, or reviews are accepted. I hope you enjoy!

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was born in Kanto but raised in Kalos. Her parents were ALWAYS busy at work. They moved to the Alola region when Julia was 5 years old, and she's been living there ever since. However, her parents were SO busy that they often left her alone. She often walked around Melemele Island. After around 4 months of living in the Alola region, she tumbled upon a house where she met a young boy named Abe and his father. Abe and his father lived there. He saw Julia wandering alone and invited her to come in for food. She tried some of the food Abe's father made and was speechless.

"Wow..." Julia exclaimed.

"How is it?" Abe asked.

"Amazing..." Julia answered.

Abe's father smiled and said, "I'm glad to hear that! You can stay here for as long as you'd like."

"Thanks, but I probably should head back home. Thank you, Mr. ..., uhm..."

"The name's James. And what's your name, young girl?"

"Julia."

"Well Julia, just know that you are always welcome here should you wish to come back."

"Thanks, Mr. James, I will."

Ever since that faithful day, Julia has been coming back to Abe and his father's house around three times a week. No matter how much she seems to taste their food, it always tasted so delicious. Abe and Julia have gotten quite close as well. After 2 months of this 'routine', Julia jokingly proposed to Abe and James to open a restaurant. She was just joking when she said it but, the truth is, James was seriously considering it. The truth is, they may not look like it, but they were having quite a hard time financially.

"Hmm... hmm... hmm..." James was thinking. Julia came over again and she was having lunch with dinner.

"Dad, what's going on?" Abe asked his father.

"Nothing, son. Nothing at all." James answered, still looking deep in thought.

"Mr. James, are you sure? What's going on?"

James sat down at the dining table and explained what was going on. "The truth is, I've been thinking about what you said last time, Julia. About opening a restaurant."

Julia and Abe exchanged glances and Julia said, "Mr. James, I was just joking about that."

James then answered, "I know but, I think it might just work."

"Huh?"

"What do you mean, dad," Abe asked his father.

"I was thinking. We don't exactly have a source of income, son. And we have been struggling financially. Maybe, if we open a restaurant, our life can be easier." James answered his son.

"Hey, dad, you know, that just might work!"

"Yeah, but the problem is, we don't have the money to start it."

"Hey! Maybe I can help." Julia said.

"What?"

"Oh right, I guess I never really told you, my parents are rich. I'm sure they'd like to help you." Julia told them.

"Are you sure?" James asked.

"Yeah, they'll listen to me. And besides, it's my birthday next week. They usually give me anything I want on my birthday."

"I mean, are you sure you want to help us?"

"Of course! And besides once you open a restaurant. I have an actual excuse to eat your food every day."

Abe and James looked at each other. Abe smiled slightly and James chuckled.

"All right, thanks, Julia. And why don't you visit us next week with your family? I'd like a chance to talk to them and why don't we have a feast here too?"

"All right! I'll see you next week Mr. James, bye, thank you!"

Julia went home to find her parents waiting for her.

"Hey, darling, how was your day?" Her mother asked.

Without waiting any longer, Julia explained the situation to her parents. Her parents were surprised to hear her ask something like that, but they wanted to help her. So, they agreed on one condition.

"A condition? What?" Julia asked her parents.

"We get to try their food first," her father answered.

Julia smiled and nodded.

ONE WEEK LATER

Julia and her parents visited Abe and his father. They greeted each other with a smile and introduced themselves. Julia and her parents then sat at the dining table while Abe and his father started working on Julia's birthday feast. A few moments later, the feast was done, and everyone ate together. At the end of their meal, it was finally time for the most important question to be answered. Will they help start the restaurant?

Julia's mother smiled and said, "Yes, we will help you, on one condition."

James and Abe exchanged nervous glances, "Uhh, wh-what condition?" James asked them.

"We get to taste all the new dishes that you decide to put on the menu first," Julia's father answered while smiling.

"It would be our pleasure," James said.

Ever since then, Abe and his father worked hard to transform their house into a restaurant with the help of Julia and her parents' money. After 6 months of working, they finally built finished and named it the family restaurant. Julia would spend every single day in the restaurant. Her parents would visit sometimes but they were mostly busy and left Julia alone. Again. Abe and James sort of became like Julia's second family. Julia lived like this for the next month, then it turned to another 5 months and another year, and another 2 years until her 10th birthday. She celebrated it in the Family Restaurant as she had done in the past few years.

Julia has sometimes been venturing to the forest with Abe to find ingredients for their recipes. And on the way, they also made friends with quite a few Pokémon. On her 10th birthday, Julia decided to journey to the forest to catch a Pokémon as she was now eligible to become a trainer. She ventured and found her new partner, her favorite Pokémon, the Pokémon she befriended and became her best Pokémon friend, a Bagon and a Rowlet which she named Sally and Mokuroh. She caught them with a Pokéball and returned to the Family Restaurant soon after. She then showed off Mokuroh to Abe and James and introduced him because they were always big fans of Grass types.

Ever since she became a trainer, Julia was keen on doing the right thing. She wanted to help people worldwide. But there weren't a lot of things to do in Alola. It's so peaceful. No one was causing trouble, so she decided to go back to where she came from, Kanto and then travel through other regions too. But she wanted to go alone, fend for herself, work together side by side with her partner. She told her parents, Abe, and James about it. They said they would miss her but, they respected her choice and wanted her to do what made her happy. So, she took off. For the first one and a half years, she still contacted her family a lot. However, she then went off-grid... Where is she? What happened?
