Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 56: A Slew of New Powers.

(Author's notes: Just so you know, just because there are popular writer's songs inside this chapter being mentioned without any lyrics being sung doesn't mean I own the songs. I'm just getting into the spirit of mentioning songs without needing any characters singing the song lyrics.

(Carver's POV...)

It's been about a week since the Scraplet infestation, ever since the recruitment of Counterbat, one out of eight hosts of the Allspark, ever since the recruitment of Gravityblaster and his friends, and ever since the Decepticons added Sinnerstreaker to their ranks.

For now, things are normal, including the fact that Fortressimus made good use in using the Forge of Solus Prime to repair and upgrade the technology of the base even further, along with building lots and lots and lots of defenses against even the likes of the Nemesis.

One could say that the defenses were equal to the defenses and weapons of the Nemesis, the Ark, the Darksyde, the Axalon, the Thunder Arrow, the Peaceful Tyranny, and pretty much other kinds of Autobot, Decepticon, Maximal, and Predacon ships. Particularly among them being Obliterator and Doomsday-class Decepticon warships.

Ratchet was ecstatic, and this was becoming a new thing: every time the Autobots gain another advantage over the Decepticons to utilize someday in the future, Ratchet would metaphorically sing praises towards the originator of such ideas.

At the present time, I was watching Rafael, Vince, and Jack playing vid games while Miko, Juith, and Bumblebee were watching me.

Man, I guess the news about me using my powers with Fortressimus Prime's permission reaches everyone in the base fast enough to be comparable to a quickly-spreading forest wildfire.

Then, as I started getting bored, I went to the roof of the silo after letting everyone know what I was doing.

I couldn't take any chances in case anyone accidentally surprised me or in case someone thought I was doing something I shouldn't.

I took the elevator to the roof and I looked at the landscape of Jasper, Nevada.

Really, it's at times like these that I take the time to appreciate things like this before it's too late.

Case in point: the outskirts of Jasper leading into the town.

Granted, it's a fictional location not shown on any real world maps in the Quadwal cluster as Vector Prime elegantly called it, but I couldn't help but feel pity for the people that live there.

Pretty soon in the future, unknowingly to them, their homes and their futures there are going to be taken away by the second version of Darkmount, Megatron's official military headquarters in this universe on Cybertron.

In an instant after I finished admiring the view, I noticed that I was standing by Flamegiver's grave mark, his frame undergoing a pyre funeral after scans of his frame were downloaded into Fortressimus' machine that he's planning on using to bring dead Cybertronians back to life, whether as a protoform, or divinely resurrecting them in every way possible which includes de-aging to young adult age and repairing all forms of previous or current damages regardless of severity, or even a combination of both.

Either way, sounds like an invention worthy of notice.

I then pulled out my phone and selected one of my least favorite songs. And it was one of my least favorites because it was literally a sad song.

It was Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

Nevertheless, I summoned a steel folding chair, sat down, and I began to sing to the song.

(Third person POV...)

As Carver sang, Nickelette came up to check on him, reminding herself to make sure that he didn't do anything he wasn't supposed to.

After Carver finished, Nickelette reset her vocalizer, and Carver whirled around, adopting a sword-wielding ninja stance while summoning a katana.

Nickelette stood firm, knowing that reaction was coming.

Carver immediately realized who was there and banished his katana before asking, "Nickelette, what's wrong?"

Nickelette answers, "I was checking on you, not just to make sure you didn't do anything stupid, but also to ask if you wanted to go for a little patrol."

Carver replies, "Oh. Okay."

Nickelette then says, "Oh, by the way, I heard you singing."

Carver questions, "Wait, you did?"

Nickelette answers, "Yes, I did, and your singing voice, it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard."

Carver replies, "Well, you haven't seen anything yet."

Carver starts playing Street Fighting Man by The Rolling Stones on his phone.

As the song's instrumental beginning started, an illusion happened in front of Nickelette about Terrorcons and Sparkless Cybertronians being sliced and diced, bisected, vivisected, beheaded, dismembered, and so forth by an unknown Cybertronian.

As far as Carver remembers, this Cybertronian looks like a combination of the Generation 1 Optimus Prime, the Generation 1 Ultra Magnus, the Armada Optimus Prime, the RID 2001 Ultra Magnus, the Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime, the Aligned continuity Ultra Magnus, and the Primeverse Optimus Prime from seasons 1-2.

Only thing was that this Cybertronian's paint job was consisted of Kelly green, Princeton Orange, scarlet red, and shadow gray.

The Cybertronian had Optimus' weapons for sure, except that they were a mix between Primeverse Optimus' swords and the Tyran cluster Battle Blades.

Even though his back was turned, he looked like a mix of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus if they had been born to the same parents as brothers.

When the last Sparkless was cut down into large and small pieces, another wave of Sparkless and Terrorcons started stalking their way to the Cybertronian.

He turned his swords into Ion Blasters, and he starts unleashing Energon bolts and metal bullets alike.

After downing a few zombies, the bot charges towards the undead army, shooting them one to four at a time.

He then turns his right gun back into his servo, grabs a Sparkless by the head, blasts its arms and legs off, and then blasts its head clean off, the head disintegrating from being shot off at close range.

The male Cybertronian shot more shots at the undead army, aiming for their heads and spark chambers respectively with Energon bolts and armor piercing rounds.

After the last Terrorcon and the last Sparkless went offline, the Cybertronian backed off and went to leave the area, but then he looked up at the sky full of stars when a big Terrorcon three times the size of the others landed in the center of the area.

Then the Terrorcon charged towards the mech with one goal in mind: to kill him.

The mech fires off a few shots at the Terrorcon's optics, taking them out and making the zombie roar in pain as it tried to regain its sight.

Then the mech transformed into a truck.

It had a nose, yes, but it didn't look like a Peterbilt.

He slams into the zombie's right leg and then his left leg, bringing the zombie down on his back.

Next, he transforms into a fighter reconnaissance jet that was much bigger than even Megatron's jet mode.

The jet went into the sky and then divebombed towards the zombie, firing lasers, bullets, and missiles.

This created a dust storm, but in the end, the zombie was dead, and the unknown Cybertronian stood triumphant in robot mode.

The mech slides off his battle mask and looks at Nickelette.

Then he gives her a warm smile, making Nickelette smile back, even though it was a little forced and awkward.

When Nickelette got a much better view, she was right about the mech not being Optimus or Ultra Magnus, except that his shoulders had much smaller pads, the sides of his head were a little bigger, the front of his head was smaller, his head was gray instead of blue, and his optics were a Blue Yonder color.

Then, as Carver finished singing, the illusion disappeared.

Carver questions, "So, what do you think?"

Nickelette replies, "Um... that was... uh... exhilarating."

Soon, they went on patrol, and after finding some of the others there except for Optimus, Carver gave them a show by playing an illusion of Fortressimus Prime emerging triumphant against Megatron as a Unicron-esque Galvatron.

To say they were impressed was saying something.

And now, things were happy once again.

The End.
