A/N: I'm sorry. T_T

I wanted to deliver a double update today, but I couldn't barely manage one. I'm a failure...

I had a rough draft of Crazy Equals Genius and Best Served Cold ready to go, but the site bugged out this morning; none of us could access our login areas. Nothing. Functioned. As a result, I wasn't able to update them before I left for the day, working and the like. Result! I just got back and I! Am! Steamed! Not only did I nearly break my update streak, but Its already getting late over here.

So I'm going to try for a double update tomorrow, if not tonight.

In the mean time, have this to tide you over.

"What is a man?"

A miserable pile of secrets, yes. But what else.

For you see, a man can be many things. Many, many things indeed...

"How did you do that?"

Naruto swore softly to himself.

"Erm...I don't suppose ya could pretend you didn't see that?"

He swept a leg behind himself, trying to hide the crumbling building behind him. He failed miserably. The thugs groaned in the street. Really, they should be ashamed of themselves. Who tried to kidnap a kid? He glared at said child, wondering if it was too late to take back his ill-fated act of heroism

The boy -student?- he'd inadvertently rescued blinked back at him, eyes wide.

"You know what?" he stood and wiped a smudge of dirt from his cheek. "I don't wanna be a knight when I grow up. I wanna be a wizard! Like you!"

Kurama absolutely cackled.

Naruto blinked at the young boy. Once. Twice, then. Thrice, now.

"No. Bad idea. VERY bad idea. Also, I'm a shinobi...and who are you? What's your name, brat?"

The boy beamed.

And then? He saluted. "Ozma, sir!"

Naruto flung up his arms. "I AIN'T YOUR TEACHER!

A/N: And there we go.

Tired now, gonna go sleep...

So in the immortal words of Atlas...

Here, have a preview or two. I'm exhausted.

And yes. The first is a reference to something I may or may not make.

"Glynda...hold my calls."

"You can't be a doctor!" the prattling little man followed him as he walked by. "You're a quack! There's no science to what you do!"

"So you say. But I've got sage chakra and a marked hand. Lets just say that makes me a very good healer." He tugged on his gloves. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a very long list of patients to attend to today, and at least three babies to deliver. So you can sue me or get out.

"OUT?! Preposterous! I have the backing of the SDC! I'll see to it that you never work in Atlas again-

A hand closed around their face.

"Such an awful personality. Maybe I should heal that too." He growled. "Heal."

And the man screamed.

Glynda didn't look up from her book.

Nothing else came to him. Only fury. A booted foot stomped down and shattered their skulls sull.

Cold light burned the world white. Golden and Black motes of light swirled to life from their crumbling corpses and flowed into his body.

"What is this?"

Kurama shrugged in his head.

"He who kills a god, becomes a god. Guess that's a thing...

Klee, be a dear and blow that gate down, would you?"

"Hmmm...well, if papa says so...

"Well, it was that or
