27. Meet the Predabots

Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 27: Meet the Predabots.

(First person POV...)

I was enjoying my latest portion of Energon when Feralbeast came up to me and said, "Doublerake, I'm pleased to report that Divesling, Boomcrusher, Thrustbrake, Dynaventure, Dreadsalvo, Bitejeopardy, Emberfire, Magnawhiz, Twitchcritter, Stuffrubble, Autowire, Flash Aurora, Night Zodiac, Junkspin, Landsling, Feral Fang, War Dynamo, Botanikrieg, Landflow, Sling Dynamite, Starscrap, Megascope, Divehoney, Scopezephyr, Melody Scraps, Sidedash, Voltburns, Galvascope, Beeage, Cinderwave and the others found another Energon mine, this one being in the Sundaland Jungle on the Sulawesi Island in Indonesia."

I replied, "Ahh, excellent work as always. Send a few squadrons of Dragonbot Miners, Dragonbot Troopers and Dragonbot Fliers in the exact same numbers you wish to this Energon mine. Order them to investigate and start mining the Energon if there aren't any Decepticons."

Feralbeast nods before going to fulfill his orders.

I went to my personal computer terminal and I coordinated the significant portion of our forces to this Energon mine on that Indonesian island with coordinates placed into the Ground Bridge.

Just then, our scanners detected an assortment of Decepticon signals heading towards our squadrons.

I contacted them as I said, "Feralbeast, be advised: Decepticon signals have been detected heading for your position."

Feralbeast replies, "Understood, commander."

Feralbeast hangs up and I went on my business.

However, a slightly tingly vibration was felt on the back of my helm and the back of my neck armor, and I knew what this meant: something bad was going to happen that could potentially expose me and my fellow Predabots to either Autobots or Decepticons.

I just hope that neither side discovers us too soon; we've got too much riding on our future here with our sources in the Autobots recovering the Predacon clone fossils we've been searching for all over this planet.

(Third person POV...)

In the Autobot base, Ratchet was working on the formula for Synthetic Energon when the computers beep.

Ratchet groans, "Ough, let this be more good news until the events of '"Darkness Rising"' happens."

Ratchet then checks the monitors and his optics widened as he saw Predacon and Decepticon signals heading towards the country of Indonesia.

Ratchet then calls out over the P.A., "Optimus! Get everyone here now! We have a potential crisis on our hands!"

A few minutes later, all the Autobots showed up in the command center.

Ratchet states, "We've detected Decepticon signals, and Predacon signals!"

Even Optimus was shocked at the revelation that Predacon and Decepticon signals had been detected.

Arcee questions, "But how? There's only an assortment of Predacons here in the base with us, and according to our intel, because of Shockwave being an Autobot in this timeline along with Hub End being possessed by a human spirit from hundreds of years in the future who is a descendant of one of our future human allies without even Soundwave and Megatron knowing about it, Project Predacon and Project Shadow Clonecon have yet to begin."

Optimus states, "Regardless of the technicalities, we must investigate and hopefully reason with these new Predacons. Ratchet, open the Space Bridge."

Ratchet nods and activates the Space Bridge.

Optimus states, "Autobots, Maximals, Predacons, roll out!"

A half of the new Autobot forces transforms to their vehicle modes and beast modes before driving, flying, and running into the portal, much bigger than normal not just because of the size of the base to house someone like Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Fortress Maximus, Trypticon, Scorponok, or even Halonix Maximus, but also because of the need for more space for the Maximals and Predacons when entering and exiting the Space Bridge tunnel.

Inside the Energon mine in the Sundaland Jungle on the Sulawesi Island in Indonesia, several hundred Decepticon Brutes, Heavy Soldiers, Rocket Soldiers, Shotgunners, and Titans were having difficulty in fighting the Predabots to force them to surrender and join the Decepticons. The main problem being that the Predabots had instantaneous regenerative healing factors combined with nigh-invincibility and strength levels the equivalent of the Primes and the original Predacons on Cybertron that made them a big problem.

In addition to that, the Predabots also had the ability to unleash an assortment of flames in dragon mode capable of destroying Decepticons without obliterating their frames, the ability to duplicate/multiply themselves to resemble many different iterations of Earth dragons, Cybertronian dragon Predacons, and other kinds of dragon mode Transformers in the case of the Dragonbot Miners, Troopers, and Fliers, and even the ability to create new Predabots/Predacons using a special laser rifle called the Predacon Breeding Generation Rifle to outnumber the opposition of any kind, including specifically Decepticons.

As soon as the Autobots arrived along with Doublerake to even the odds, the lead Decepticon exclaims, "Autobots! And they're building a new army! Decepticons, retreat!"

The remaining Decepticons manage to retreat before any more casualties could happen.

Doublerake approaches the new Predabots and says, "Predabots, welcome to Earth."

Bulkhead exclaims, "Predabots?!"

Suddenly aware of the Autobots standing there, Doublerake turns around to face them then he snarls, "Neither of you Autobots were supposed to find out about us!"

Optimus steps forward and says, "We needed to investigate so as to better counter the Decepticons and avoid anyone here being seen by humans."

Feralbeast steps forward, but Doublerake holds up a servo before saying and before asking, "Your reasoning has merit and logical sense. You are Optimus Prime?"

Optimus answers before asking, "Yes, I am Optimus Prime. And you are?"

Doublerake answers, "I'm Doublerake. These are my comrades: Feralbeast, Divesling, Boomcrusher, Thrustbrake, Dynaventure, Dreadsalvo, Bitejeopardy, Emberfire, Magnawhiz, Twitchcritter, Stuffrubble, Autowire, Flash Aurora, Night Zodiac, Junkspin, Landsling, Feral Fang, War Dynamo, Botanikrieg, Landflow, Sling Dynamite, Starscrap, Megascope, Divehoney, Scopezephyr, Melody Scraps, Sidedash, Voltburns, Galvascope, Beeage, Cinderwave, Locksky, Fireslide, Rhispin, Scraprubble, Daggerslinger, Tormentcircuit, Scratchcircuit, Wind Cascade, Twinstop, Cannoncycle, Meltcloud, Guntwitch, Crackflow, Grandthing, Turbinesteel, Shiftweasel, and Trailglitch."

After about ten minutes, every Predabot/Predacon so far gets their names revealed.

Optimus then questions, "Doublerake, will you and your brethren be willing to fight alongside us?"

Doublerake reluctantly replies, "Count us in, Optimus."

The twosome shakes servos, and a new alliance against the Decepticons is born.
