Landing In Tahiti

Since Alexander won the trip, he, the rest of the Pussycats, and the Chans were riding in the first class cabin of the airplane.

The flight was long and there wasn't much for the third Chan son to do but rest off his cold and try to get better.

Anne who sat next to her sick twin brother, was watching over him while he had his eyes closed and rested.

As the plane flew, the Chan family enjoyed their peaceful flight, some looked out the window to enjoy the view while others read magazines.

A few seats in front of them sat the Pussycat crew, Melody sat with the Cabot twins while Valerie sat with Alan M. and Josie.

Alexandra looked at Alan M. and Josie, "Ooh! I should be sitting next to Alan instead of that goody-goody Josie." she complained.

"Stop complaining, Alexandra, just sit back and relax like everyone else." Alexander said.

The flight stewardess suddenly came with a rolling serving cart carrying one tray of food and another tray of beverages.

"Coffee? Lemonade? Tea, iced or hot? Punch? Water? Orange juice? Tomato juice? Coffee? Lemonade? Tea, iced or hot? Punch? Water? Orange juice? Tomato juice?" the flight attendant asked.

"Well, it's about time the drinks got here, I'll have a fruit punch!" Alexandra exclaimed.

"Me too, please." Josie said sweetly.

"Lemonade for me." Alan M. said.

"And I'll settle for some water." Valerie said.

"I'll get the drinks, gang." Alexander offered.

Before her brother could get up, Alexandra came up with a sneaky idea, "Oh, don't bother, Brother Dear, I'll get it." she offered.

"Okay." Alexander said.

Alexandra walked up to the stewardess and took the tray of drinks, "Say, Miss, do you have anything to spice up, uh, my drink, like, well, something spicy?" she asked.

"Not really, most folks want their drinks nice and hot or cold like in the cases of coffee and tea, but if you want something spicy to nibble on, I do have a few small jalapeño peppers here, we were going to serve them with the spaghetti and meatballs." the attendant answered Alexandra simply.

Alexandra snatched the three red peppers and a few strawberries from a fruit plate, "Thanks, oh, and I'll take some of these strawberries, too." she said.

"Okay." The flight attendant said.

After the stewardess walked on, Alexandra sat in an empty seat to use a spoon to secretly take out the ice in one of the glasses of fruit punch, she then tore the peppers into tiny pieces and placed them in the punch.

So that copycat redhead want some punch, too, huh? Well, let's see how she likes one with a nice spicy jalapeño pepper in it, Alexandra thought, dropping a strawberry in the glass with the peppers. this'll make sure she doesn't notice the peppers, I'd better take out the ice and put a strawberry in my punch, too, so no one else will get suspicious.

Alexandra spooned out the ice and put a strawberry in the second glass of punch.

"Hey, Sis, what's the hold up? I'm thirsty here!" Alexander called.

"Ah, keep your shades on! I'm coming!" Alexandra shouted.

"Okay." Alexander called back.

Alexandra walked up to Valerie, Alan M., and Josie to serve the beverages.

"Here you are, Alan, Dear." Alexandra said.

Alan M. took his lemonade as Valerie took her glass of water and Josie grabbed one of the glasses of punch.

"Thanks, what took you so long?" Alan M. asked Alexandra.

"Oh, I just thought Josie's and my punch would taste better with a little strawberry in it." Alexandra said, feigning innocence.

Josie was completely oblivious, "Oh, thanks, Alexandra, I love strawberries!" she exclaimed.

Alexandra snickered fiendishly, "No problem." she said.

Alexandra walked back to her seat with Alexander and Melody.

Melody took a glass of iced tea, "Thanks, Alexandra." she said.

Alexander grabbed a different glass of lemonade, "Finally." he sighed.

Alexandra watched as Josie started to drink her punch.

"The moment those hot peppers sink in, Josie will hop around screaming, allowing me to take her seat next to Alan." Alexandra said to herself.

Alexandra drank her glass of punch, to her surprise, her face turned red and her tongue started burning hot, upon looking at her glass closely, she immediately realized she took the spicy punch by mistake.

Alexandra started jumping around the plane.

Several seats away, Flip was reading a sports magazine, then began to groan loudly.

"What's wrong, Chief?" Scooter asked Flip.

"I'm getting bored, Scooter," Flip groaned. "don't they have anything else entertaining on this flight?"

Suddenly, Alexandra hopped by the Chan family, still screaming from the hot peppers, "Yeow! Water! Water! My tongue's on fire!" she exclaimed.

As the Chans looked on, puzzled, Flip grabbed a bag of pretzels and a glass of lemonade.

"Ha! Ha! Boy, can't get any more entertaining than this!" Flip laughed out loud.

Upon arrival in Tahiti, the Chan family and the Pussycats gathered their belongings and got off the plane.

Charlie converted the Chan van from a wheelchair to the Pussycats' tour bus.

Alan sneezed into a handkerchief just to clear his nose, then, he inhaled deeply.
