Hey everyone, I'm here to bring you chapter 8 of our story!
I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I feel like this chapter isn't my best work. I've had some writers block at some points and it doesn't feel like there's that much dialogue between characters. But I did my best with this chapter. And hopefully you like it.
But anyways, let's see where this story goes after Seiya is caught and arrested! Will this be the end of Usagi's nightmare? Let's find out!
Enjoy!

Sailor Moon: Sleeping with the Enemy: Chapter 8 Will There Be Justice For Usagi?
"Good morning Tokyo, I'm Nana Aashina, and I am standing outside of the courthouse among a crowd of people, half of them being fans of Seiya Kou and his band, The Three Light's; who have come here to watch the trial." The news reporter said. "The trial is between Seiya Kou and his ex girlfriend, Usagi Tsukino; who he had abused, raped, and tried to have her kidnapped while wanting her friends and family to be murdered. This case had shocked everyone, not just Tokyo, but in the whole country of Japan. The public could not believe that the kind, charming, cheerful, easygoing, and talented idol they once thought of was secretly doing all of these unforgivable acts behind the camera's. The case has everyone enraged and wants justice to be served for Usagi Tsukino and her family. The trial is scheduled to start at 9:00am."
A car then drives up to the courthouse and stops in front of it, everyone watched as Usagi, Mamoru, and her parents and brother got out of the car. A few of the police officers that were standing outside the courthouse rushed them in before the reporters could ask them any questions. Another car drives up and all of Usagi's friends get out and enter the building.
Soon a police car parks in front of the courthouse and two officers exit the car with Seiya, who was handcuffed and wearing a jail uniform. The crowd of people began to scream at him, telling him what an awful human being he was.
A dark purple van with big, yellow shooting stars painted on each side arrived and Taiki and Yaten stepped out and walked up the steps, avoiding all of the reporters.
Everyone entered the courtroom and sat down in their assigned seats. When 9:00am came, the bailiff hailed for the crowd to stand. The judge then entered the room and sat down on his bench and said to everyone to be seated. The trial then began and Usagi's lawyer, Saori, stood and began her speech about the case involving Seiya and Usagi.
The judge then read the paperwork in front of him and looked towards Seiya; he said that he was being charged with domestic violence, domestic abuse, rape, attempted kidnapping, and attempted murder. When he asked Seiya how does he plead, the idol said, "Not guilty.". This caused all of Usagi's friends and family to be in an uproar while she was in tears. The judge ordered for everyone to be silent.
Saori then presented to the court the crime scene photo's from Seiya's house and all of the evidence from the trash bags that Seiya was trying to get rid of. When the judge asked if she had any witnesses, she said yes and called for Usagi to go to the witness stand. The young blond walked over to the stand, the bailiff approached her holding a bible, he instructed her to place her hand on the bible and asked her if she swore to tell the truth, to which she said yes.
She sat down and Saori approached her at the stand. The lawyer asked her to state her name and age, and to answer some questions about her relationship with Seiya; when the abuse started, and to recall and account the days when her ex boyfriend put ipecac syrup in one of the slices of cake, when he locked her in the closet and filmed her naked, when he raped her, and when the police came to her house and told her the plan to set him up. And Usagi answered all of these questions in full detail with tears in her eyes.
Everyone in the courtroom, except for Usagi's family and friends, began to murmur upon learning this information. After she was done telling the stories of each event, the judge told her to step down from the stand and she went back to her seat. They also had a couple of Usagi's friends come sit at the witness stand to testify too.
The next evidence that was provided was all of the footage of Seiya planing to kidnap his ex girlfriend and meeting up with a fake hitman to do the job and to kill everyone else in the house. Taiki was then called to the witness stand to testify and he explained the whole story of the plan to set up Seiya to confirm that he was planning to kidnap Usagi.
Seiya's defense team however, said that Usagi was lying and set up this whole plan to ruin her ex boyfriend's career and to get attention. Saying that she made up the whole story of him abusing her, giving herself those cuts and bruises, taking those nude photos of herself, getting her friends and family involved, and lying to the police which caused them to set up this plan. Then the prosecution said that this was false and didn't make sense because Usagi was a good and kind person according to some of her friends and that she had no alibi. They also pointed out in the nude photos of her that you can see some of the bruises were in the shape of fingerprints and the fact that the expressions on her face clearly show that she was crying and was being tortured. And that in all of the footage you can clearly see that Seiya was obsessed with Usagi and wanted to kidnap her and wanted the people close to her killed.
After one hour of deliberation the jury came back into the courtroom. "Has the jury reached a verdict?" the Judge asked.
"Yes we have." The Foreman stood up and said. "We the jury find the defendant, Seiya Kou, guilty of all charges."
"Thank you," The judge said and turned to Seiya. "Seiya Kou, you are sentenced to life in prison at the Fuchu Prison for all of those charges. Court dismissed."
After he slammed his gravel down, the bailiff walked towards Seiya and escorted him out of the courtroom. As they pass by Usagi, who was watching them, her ex boyfriend looks over to her and whispers, "See you soon my angel.".
Those words felt chilling to her but she brushed it off as it did not matter anymore. Seiya was finally going to prison, she got the justice that she deserved.
It was over.
. . . .
A month and a half later, after Seiya went to prison, things were finally back to normal. The horrible weight had been lifted off of Usagi's shoulders. She was able to live at her house again and be with her family, hang out with her friends, keep up with her studies in school, and live her life normally. For the first time in a while, she was finally free. But not everything was the same as before, there was one thing that did change, something that she never thought would happen.
Her and Mamoru had become best friends.
It was surprising how they went from being enemies to friends, Usagi saw her nemesis with new eyes. She never thought that Mamoru was really a kind, helpful, and friendly gentleman around her and everyone. He would meet up with her after school to go to the library to help her with her homework and study for tests, and then afterwards they would go hangout at different places like the park, cafe, or the mall. Their friendship had blossomed over the month and a half to the point where they would talk about each other's hobbies, secrets, and opinions on many things.
However, when it came to talking about memories from their childhoods, Mamoru would have to make up lies about his parents still being alive to hide the truth from her. That was one secret that he was not ready to share with her or anyone yet. And the lies about his parents and past life before he became an orphan were what he imagined was like, a normal and happy childhood with two loving parents. Ever since the horrible incident that killed his parents, it left Mamoru with amnesia, causing him to not remember anything about his life before the incident. He also kept his secret of having dreams about a girl telling him to find the silver crystal from her too. He felt that it would give away his identity as Tuxedo Mask.
As for Usagi, there was one secret that she had not told him or anyone else yet, something that was also a wonderful surprise. And that was that she began to have feelings for Mamoru.
How she had never noticed before how handsome he was will always be a mystery to her; he was tall and had a toned but soft body, black hair that fell over his beautiful ocean blue eyes. And she loved his wonderful personality too. Being so kind, warm, caring, helping her with anything, being her friend, accepting who she was, and letting her be herself.
Sometimes whenever he was reading a book to her or explaining a mathematical solution to her, she would find herself staring at him in awe, smiling while admiring him. And whenever he caught her in the act she would have to make up an excuse for her staring.
Usagi has never been more happier than she is now, more happy than she was when she met Seiya.
And ever since her and Mamoru began hanging out, her mom and friends would always ask her if anything romantic was happening between them, which she always denied and said that they were just friends. But they saw the obvious blush and love in her eyes and knew that she had a crush on him.
Usagi wasn't in denial with herself that she had fallen in love with Mamoru, but she wondered if he felt the same way about her too; but even if he did, she was too scared to be in a relationship again with someone else. Afraid that she might get hurt again, so she kept her love for Mamoru to herself.
It was Sunday night and Usagi's parents had invited Mamoru to have dinner with them at their house. Everyone was having pleasant conversations at the table while they were eating. Usagi was happy to see that Mamoru and her family got along great; she remembered him telling her that he really liked her family.
Her mother was really fond of Mamoru and would tell her how good of a person he was and that he was right for her even though Usagi had told her multiple times that there was nothing going on between them. Her father liked Mamoru too but wasn't so sure on the idea of them getting together, but Kenji had always been a bit protective of Usagi when it came to her either being friends with a man or dating them. Shingo thought Mamoru was a cool guy and liked the fact that he helped his sister be happy again.
As they were eating a cake that Ikuko had made, a knock was heard at the front door. Usagi's mother went to answer the door and it was the Chief along with a couple of officers who were standing at their door step. "Hello Mrs. Tsukino." the Chief greeted.
"Hello sir, did something happen?" Ikuko asked.
"Yes, and I need to talk to all of you, it's urgent." he said.
She let them in and she called for everyone in the dinning room to come to the living room. Usagi and her parents sat on the couch while Mamoru and Shingo stood on opposite sides of the furniture, the Chief and officers stood in front of the family.
"I'm afraid we have some shocking news regarding Seiya Kou." The Chief said. The family looked at him startled. "We just received word from the Fuchu Prison that he had escaped today."
Everyone gasped and felt their hearts miss a beat. "How could he have escaped?!" Kenji asked alarmingly.
"They told us based on what they found was that he tricked one of the security guards by pretending to be in pain or something so that they could open his cell door and he beat the guard until they passed out. He then killed another security guard that had a set of keys to open doors and bar gates. And he somehow managed to slip past all of the other guards in the prison." The Chief explained.
"Are there any leads on where he is?" Ikuko inquired.
"Well we're still searching for him at the moment, but. . ." The Chief hesitated for a moment. "We were told by one of the prisoners who had a conversation with Seiya that he told them that he was going to escape and go visit his girlfriend."
It was at that moment that everyone felt their blood run cold, but Usagi was the one that was frightened the most as she trembled and her face turned pale. "No. . ." She shivered. "NO, NO, NO! HE'S COMING HERE! HE'S GONNA KILL EVERYONE AND KIDNAP ME! IT'S STILL NOT OVER!"
Her parents and Mamoru console her, trying to calm her down. She finally managed to relax but her face was still stained with tears.
The Chief then said. "Don't worry Usagi, we're not gonna let that happen. And we've already decided that your gonna be somewhere safe and out of your hometown until Seiya is caught."
Everyone turned their attention back to the Chief. "Leave her hometown?" Ikuko said.
"Yes, we've already picked a place for her to stay in temporarily." The Chief said.
"And what place is that?" Kenji asked.
"An apartment in California." He said.
"California? You mean you want her to stay in America?" Mamoru said. "Why a different country?"
"Because we don't know for sure where Seiya is hiding. And we're afraid that he'll be able to track her down easily here in Japan. So sending her to America is the wise choice." The Chief said.
Usagi felt anxious about the plan, not only would this be her first time leaving her home and country for a while, but she was worried about her family and friends. What if Seiya tries to harm them and she's not there to stop it?
"Sir, I. . ." She stammered. "I've never been away from my hometown or even lived on my own somewhere, and. . .what about my family and friends? How will I know their safe if Seiya comes after them?"
"Your friends and family are covered too Usagi." The Chief said. "We've arranged to have bodyguards surround your house and all of your friend's houses. We knew that he would try to go to any of their homes to find you."
"That's good to hear." Kenji said. "And do you know who will be accompanying our daughter in California?"
The Chief and the officers looked at each other. "Well we were thinking that one of us will go with her to America." The Chief said.
Usagi felt nervous about the idea of going to a different country with someone that she barely knew. Mamoru saw her expression and said this. "If it's alright with you sir, I'll go with her to California."
Usagi looked at him surprised. "You're willing to come with me to America?"
"Yes," he said. "I'm still your bodyguard, I'll protect you no matter where you go."
Her heart fluttered at his words and she felt confident with the idea. "Okay." she nodded smiling.
After he smiled back at her, Mamoru turned to the Chief. "When can we leave?"
"Tonight." he said. "Like I said, the apartment is all ready, we arranged for a rental car to be there at the airport when you arrive in California, we even booked you a flight that is scheduled to leave in two hours."
"Sounds good to me." Mamoru said. "What about you Usagi-chan?"
"Leave tonight?" she said.
Her mother put her hand on her shoulder. "It's best if you and Mamoru-san leave tonight sweetie."
"But what about telling everyone else the news? I won't be able to say goodbye to them. And I don't know what to pack with me." she said.
"Don't worry honey, we'll let all your friends know and I'll help you pack." Ikuko said.
"Arigato mom." she smiled. And with that, Usagi and her mother went upstairs and packed everything that Usagi needed and wanted to take with her. It only took them 30 minutes to get her suitcases ready and they went downstairs to meet Mamoru and the police officers. They took her luggage and went to the police cars and stored them in the trunk.
Usagi gave her family hugs. "Bye mom, dad, and Shingo. Please be careful and safe."
"We will Usagi, you and Mamoru be careful and safe too. Call us when you get to the apartment." Ikuko said.
"I will." she said. "I love you."
"Love you too pumpkin." Kenji said.
Mamoru hugged them and said his goodbyes too. "Mamoru-san," Kenji said. "Please keep our daughter safe, make sure nothing bad happens to her and she's safe at the apartment and she comes back home safely."
"I will sir, she's in safe hands." Mamoru said. He then joined Usagi in the police car and the officer drove them to Mamoru's apartment so that he can pack his belongings to take with him.
Once he got his suitcases ready, the officer took them to the airport. They arrived on time and grabbed their luggage and thanked the officer. Mamoru and Usagi made their way to where their flight's departure gate was and got in line. Once they were in the plane and seated, the plane took off as scheduled.
The nine hour flight to California was long and exhausting but they finally made it without any trouble. When they got out of the airport, they found the rental car that the Chief had promised them and got in. Mamoru then drove them to the apartment. When they got to the place, Usagi called her family using the phone that was in the living room; when no one answered she left a voicemail saying that they made it to California and to the apartment safely, and also gave them the address and phone number to call her.
. . . .
A week goes by and things seemed to be okay so far. The police were still searching for Seiya and he was still on the loose but he had not invaded anyone's home. But the Chief still made sure to have the Tsukino house and all of Usagi's friend's houses guarded at all times.
And Mamoru and Usagi were doing good too, they were able to adjust to where they were living, although Usagi had a hard time with learning how to speak English but Mamoru was there to help her since he took an English class. And Usagi would call her family and friends everyday to check up on them, let them know how she was doing, and to also ask them if the police have found Seiya yet.
It was a peaceful Sunday night at the Tsukino home, Kenji was reading a book, Ikuko was making dinner in the kitchen, and Shingo was playing his video games. Kenji got up from his chair and went to go use the bathroom upstairs.
When he walked down the hallway, he heard some noise coming from Usagi's bedroom. It sounded like footsteps and he heard some growling too. So he went over to it and heard something move in the room. As if they knew that he was coming.
Getting suspicious he opened the door and looked in his daughters bedroom, the room was empty, there was no one. Everything in the room seemed to be okay, nothing looked like it was disturbed until he noticed that the window was opened.
Getting an eerie feeling he walked over to the window and looked outside, and when his eyes moved to examine the ground below, he discovered to his horror that one of the police officers was lying on the ground lifeless and blood was pooling around them.
Unbeknownst to Kenji, Usagi's large closet on the other side of the room slowly opens and a figure quietly walks out and approaches him. He was too shocked to see a dead body on the ground that he didn't noticed. When he came to his senses, he made a run to the door to go tell his wife and son downstairs about what he saw.
But then something grabs him in a tight hold and he wrestles with them to break free, the figure tackles Kenji to the floor and hits him in the head multiple times with an object until Kenji losses conscious and is knocked out, a small amount of blood running down his face.
The commotion alerted both Ikuko and Shingo. Ikuko went upstairs to check it out, calling her husbands name. When she saw her daughters bedroom door open, she sensed that something was amiss and walked over to it and called her husband's name again.
She gasped when she saw him unconscious on the floor. Ikuko went to his aid and desperately tried to wake him up and checked to see if he had a pulse. She is then pulled back and is held in a tight grip and she struggles in their grasp. She then bites their arm that is close to her face and they yelp in pain and release her, she then runs to get downstairs while screaming Shingo's name but is then pushed with such force and she falls down the stairs.
Shingo sees his mother fall down and hits the floor, whimpering in pain. "Mom!" he cried and rushed over to her. A person then speeds down the stairs and stands next to Ikuko's body and stares at Shingo.
He was shocked to recognize that it was Seiya, who was holding a club stick.
"SHINGO RUN!" His mother cried.
Shingo then ran to the front door but Seiya immediately chased after him and hit his head with the club, the impact was so hard that Shingo fell to the floor, he quickly tried to get up but Seiya pinned him to the ground. "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP!" Shingo screamed.
"Scream all you want, I killed every police officer outside." Seiya said with malice. He then pulled out a pair of handcuffs that he stole from the officers and cuffed Shingo's hands behind his back. He then tied his legs together with rope too that he brought with him.
Ikuko tries to get up, but the injury in her right arm and left leg prevent her from moving any further. After Seiya finished tying up Shingo, who was crying and shaking, he sees her struggling to lift herself up and walks over to her, pulls out a gun that he also stole from one of the officers, and pins her to the floor while she cried out in pain.
"Where is my angel?" he asked her in an angry tone of voice. Ikuko started to whimper. "WHERE IS SHE!?" he hissed.
"I don't know!" she cried. This earned her a painful slap to her face and she screamed.
"BULLSHIT! You're her mother, you know damn well where she is, now tell me!" Seiya demanded. "Tell me right now or I'm gonna put a bullet in your son's head!"
"NO! PLEASE DON'T! PLEASE SPARE HIM, TAKE ME INSTEAD, PLEASE DON'T KILL HIM! She begged in tears.
"TELL ME WHERE SHE IS DAMMIT!" he demanded again.
Ikuko didn't know how to get out of this situation. She can't give away her daughter's location, but if she didn't her son will die. She was trapped, all she could do was cry and prayed for somebody to help her and her family.
At that moment, the phone on the table ringed. It rang three times before it went to a voicemail that was recorded by Ikuko saying to please leave a message as no one is available right now. The phone beeped and Usagi's voice was heard.
"Hi mom, dad, and Shingo! It's me, me and Mamoru are okay. Right now I'm making curry for dinner from scratch, it's my first time making it so I hope it turns out good. What about you? What's for dinner tonight mom? And how are you all doing? You probably went out for dinner and that's why no one answered. I know, I know, I worry too much haha. Well, I gotta go, call back when you get the chance. Bye!"
When the voicemail ended, Seiya smiled wickedly and turned to Ikuko. "Well, looks like my angel saved you and your son."
She glared at him. "Stay away from my daughter you monster! She doesn't belong to you!"
Those words made him feel enraged and he grabbed her neck tightly and she struggled in his grasp. "MOM!" Shingo cried.
"Wrong, she is MINE!" he growled. "She belongs to me and ONLY me! And I will stop at nothing to get her back, and I will kill ANYONE who stands in my way to claim her once more! Now why don't you be a good mother and call her back and get her to say where she is."
Ikuko gritted her teeth and choked out. "Fuck you!"
With that, Seiya threw her to the floor and punched her until she passed out. Shingo was crying and calling out to his mother while Seiya went over to the phone and checked the voicemail inbox to see if his angel left any messages on where her whereabouts are. After going through every useless voicemail he finally managed to find the one that he was looking for.
"Hey mom and dad, and Shingo, it's Usagi. Me and Mamoru made it to California safely and made it to the apartment okay." She then said what the name of the apartment was and where it was located in the state, and she said the phone number to call her. He found the notepad and pen sitting on the table and wrote all of the information down.
After the voicemail ended, Seiya grinned. "I'll be seeing you soon angel."
He then heard police sirens outside and he ran to the dinning room that had a large window, picked up one of the chairs and banged the window with it until it shattered and the pieces of glass fell to the floor. He then climbed out the window and escaped into the night.
. . . .
"It's ready Mamoru-san!" Usagi called excitedly.
Mamoru was already sitting at the table when she brought out the plates of curry for them from the very messy and hectic kitchen. He saw that the curry she made didn't look the best in appearance as there were still chunks of carrots and other things in the sauce. But it did look like she tried to put effort into making it.
"Gomen, it doesn't look all that appealing. I'm not good at making things look pretty." she said with a nervous laughter.
"It doesn't look all that bad." He said to help her feel better about her hard work. Thought he admitted to himself that he was nervous to try it. "It's like they say, never judge a book by its cover." He then took a spoon full of the curry and took a bite. Usagi watched him as he ate the first bite, hoping that it wouldn't harm him.
"Wow, it's actually pretty tasty Usagi-chan." he said with a smile.
She was surprised by his positive reaction and tried her cooking herself, the sweet and savory spices filled her mouth. "You're right, it's not that bad! YES! I finally made something that turned out right! Woo hoo!" she exclaimed happily. Mamoru giggled, happy to see her cheerful. "Much better then the other night with the seafood paella."
"Hey the burnt rice wasn't that bad." Mamoru said.
"Yeah, but if it weren't for my clumsiness, the rice wouldn't of caught fire in the pan." she said matter of fact.
"Well I see two positive's with that. One, I like burnt rice. Two, the apartment is still standing, and we didn't become burnt rice too."
Usagi giggled. "Well those two things are good to hear."
"Trust me Usagi-chan, there is no way that you can burn down a place. And no matter what you cook, even if its burnt, I'll still eat it. I love tasting all of the effort and love in your cooking." he said.
Usagi paused on her munching and looked at him, surprised and blushing.
"What?" he asked confused.
She then collected herself and gulped her food down before taking some more bites of her curry. "Nothing!. . .I'm not used to getting compliments from people!" she said with her mouth full, embarrassed and her face turning red. Mamoru laughed at her expression, he thought that she was still beautiful even when she ate eccentrically and stuffed her face.
Just then the phone ranged and Mamoru got up and walked over to it and answered it. "Hello?" He said.
"Hi Mamoru Chiba, this is Chief." he said.
"Hello Chief, what's up?" Mamoru asked.
When he said who it was it got Usagi's attention as she stopped eating and listened in on the conversation.
"I'm afraid we have bad news." he said. "Seiya broke into the Tsukino home and attacked Usagi's parents and tied up her brother."
"What?!" Mamoru exclaimed. "Weren't the bodyguards there guarding the house?!"
"What?!" Usagi said shocked and jumped up from her chair and hurried over to him. "What happened?! What's wrong?!" she desperately asked.
He turned to her. "It's your family, Seiya broke into the house and attacked them."
She gasped. "Oh my god!"
"Hold on Chief, I'm gonna put you on speaker!" Mamoru said and pressed the button on the phone.
"Chief, what happened?! Is my family okay?!" Usagi asked panicked.
"Yes, yes, they're okay. You're parents have some injuries but they'll be okay. And your brother wasn't hurt, he's still shaken up from the incident." The Chief stated. "We got word about something happening at the house when one of the officers was calling for back up before he got cut off. When back up arrived, Seiya had already fled from the scene by breaking the dinning room window. And they found all three of the officers dead outside, and found your injured parents passed out and your brother tied up. They're at the hospital right now."
"Oh thank goodness they're okay!" She said in relief with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry that three of your men died sir."
"You don't need to apologize Usagi, it's not your fault." he told her. "There's also something else that I need to tell you that we also learned."
"What is it?" Mamoru asked.
"Usagi's brother told the officers that Seiya went through the house phone voicemail inbox and found the message that Usagi left that said where you guys were!" he said.
Both Mamoru and Usagi gasped. "OH MY GOD NOOOOO! HE KNOWS WHERE WE ARE! I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS! WHAT DO WE DO?!" Usagi screamed hysterically as she paced around the room holding her head.
Mamoru quickly ran up to her to stop her from pacing and held her close to him to calm her down. "Usagi-chan, it's okay, it's okay, that bastard isn't gonna find us! We're gonna leave and find another hiding place!" he told her.
"Yes! I need the both of you to leave now and drive as far away from California as possible! It doesn't matter where you are in America, just drive and be careful!" The Chief ordered them.
"Yes sir!" Mamoru said.
"But what about Seiya?! How will you find him if he's here in America?! What if he does find us?!" Usagi asked.
"Like Mamoru said, he's not gonna find you, because America is a big country. There are millions of places you can hide and him trying to find you is like finding a needle in a hay stack. It'll be hard for him to track you two down." The Chief said. "As for us finding him, I don't know, but no matter what, we won't stop until he's caught. We'll contact the FBI and they'll put him on the watch list."
"The FBI?" she said.
"They're federal law enforcement in America." he explained. "Good luck you two and be careful."
"We will, Arigato Chief. Bye." Mamoru said and the call disconnected. "Let's go Usagi-chan."
"Okay." she said. They both then packed up everything that they needed and left the apartment. They then got in the car and drove away.
. . . .
Four hours had passed by and Mamoru was still driving them down the long dark road. Usagi had fallen asleep some time ago in the passenger seat. It took a while for her to calm down after learning the frightening news. But Mamoru told her that nobody knew that Seiya would look through the phone's message inbox.
Mamoru looked at her sleeping form, she was sleeping calmly and silent as each passing light on the road and from the moon danced across her. Up until Seiya broke out of prison, she was happy, childish, strong, courageous, and still alive. And he wanted her stay that way.
He promised her that he would still help her and protect her from that psycho no matter what. He loved her more than anything, he wouldn't let anyone take her away from him, he would even die for her so that she would live. He had never felt like this before, he had a purpose in life, and it was to help and protect Usagi. And heaven help them if that monster finds them and tries to harm her.
Mamoru then decided to turn on the radio to break the some of the eerie silence, he then pressed a random button and a song came on. It was a slow but relaxing melody that made him feel peaceful, and the lyrics were good too, and kind of fitted with him and Usagi on the road tonight.
I gave a girl a ride in my wagon
Now she crawled in and took control
She was tired as her mind was draggin
And I said get some sleep and we'll get on down the road.
Like a picture she was laying there
And moonlight dancing off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
She's gonna love me in my Chevy van
And that's alright with me
Her young face was like that of an angel
And her long legs were tanned and brown
Better keep your eyes on the road son
Better slow this vehicle down
~ "Chevy Van" by Sammy Kershaw
Mamoru continued driving down the dark and endless road, with the girl he cherished so much sleeping and dreaming next to him, thinking of the criminal that was coming for her.
Oh no! Looks like Seiya went even more cuckoo and broke out of prison and is now on the run to find Usagi! And is killing anyone that stands in his way! How will they stop him from achieving his goal?! Will Usagi and everyone on her side live?!
We shall find out next time! ;)
So I hope you all enjoyed this chapter even if it wasn't the best.
I'll see you all next time in the next chapter!
Bye bye! :)
