It was Luke's cousin, Preston's, birthday on March 15th. Lucy hadn't forgiven Luna, Lola, and Luan for forcing her to stay on the show, but she was also heartbroken, feeling like Cuphead used her. In other words, she felt used, broken, and just plain upset.

Luke sniffed as his love ditched him. He couldn't believe Chalice did that to him.

Later, he was at Preston's house as Garrett, Remy, Beau, and Stephen joined him. Luke had recently formed a band with them and called it Elemental Rebel Revolution. Their first song and music video, "The One In The Middle", went viral and got 7 million hits. The siblings were proud of Luke.

Angry Luigi came to check on Luke at Preston's party as his band was setting up.

"Are you okay?" Angry Luigi asked. Luke looked at him.

"It's okay, I'm sure you'll find someone." he tells Luke.

"I'm going to go to the 8th grade prom alone..." Luke says.

The band soon sets up and starts their show for Preston's 15th birthday party. Everyone was loving them. Especially their new songs "Long Gone" and "How Long".

Lisa thinks about the finals. She knew she would win. She and Beau were good. She was watching Beau perform with the band.

Soon, they finish as Preston goes to open his gifts, but sees Luke running to a corner to cry. He pitied him.

Luke later emerged from the corner for cake. Everyone begins to sing to Preston as he smiles for the cameras his parents and friends had. He wished that Luke would be happy and blew his fifteen candles out before giving Luke the second piece of cake.

After the party, the family was heading home as Luna looked at Lucy. "I'm sorry, okay?" Luna says.

"It's going to take time for me to fully forgive you." Lucy says coldly.

A few days later, Lucy arrives at a poetry slam and sees Mugman there. "Oh, no…" Lucy says. She really wanted to win this as she wanted to see her favorite poet. Little did she know that her favorite poet was a judge in this.

Cuphead looks away from Lucy as Lucy sniffed, frowning. Luke was at this to support Lucy. He gave her a reassuring smile.

"Thanks, Luke." Lucy says as only he and Lincoln came. The others forgot due to Lori's senior picnic at the high school.

Lucy goes on stage and reads her poem. The judges liked it.

Then Mugman goes on stage and reads a poem as the judges loved

"So, are you having fun?" Cuphead asked Lucy bitterly.

"Leave me alone, Cuphead!" Lucy said and walked off to be alone and cry. Luke saw red when he saw Cuphead being bitter to Lucy.

"Nice job, Mugsy!" Chalice says.

"Thank you." Mugman says. Margo smiled and kissed Mugman.

Luke didn't see this because he was beating up Cuphead in the alley and didn't hear.

Cuphead used his super art, blasting Luke back. "That does it!" Cuphead says, annoyed. Lucy sees this and was genuinely worried as Cuphead and Luke glared at one another, continuing to fight.

Cuphead used his peashooter on Luke. Luke hissed and snapped his handle off.

"Ow!" Cuphead says as he uses more of his attacks.

Meanwhile, the judges tallied up the points.

"Coming in 3rd place is Lucy Huntington." The judge says as Lucy frowned. She felt like she failed her favorite author.

"2nd place goes to Mugman." The judge says.

"Wait, what?" Mugman asked.

"The winner of the poetry slam is Haiku!" The judge says as Haiku goes to get her award.

Chalice came outside and sees Luke and Cuphead hurt.

"Stop it! Get away from him!" Chalice tells Luke.

"What's going on?" Lynn asked.

"This." Cuphead says and kissed Lynn who pushed him off.

"I'm in a relationship!" Lynn says.

"Wait, what?!" Cuphead asked. Francisco walks up.

"You're trying to steal my girl, why?" Francisco asked.

"Because she's cool." Cuphead says.

Luke spots Chalice.

"Luke, I'm sorry, really!" Chalice says.

"Come on, Luke, sniff, let's go. We probably will never find love, anyway." Lucy says, holding her 3rd place medal.

"Lucy, what's going on? I thought you and Cuphead were dating?" Haiku asked. Lucy cried and told her everything.

She then runs off and Luke goes with her. Lynn feels bad as she goes with Lincoln.

Lucy went home as Charity noticed her tossing the award in the garbage as soon as she came in the door. Luke gets the award out of the garbage and puts it in Lucy's award case.

A few days later, Luke, Garrett, Remy, Stephen, and Beau were at If The Suit Fits, the mall's male formalwear shop, looking at tuxedos for the 8th grade prom.

Luke looks down after he picked a nice Arctic blue Oscar De La Renta tuxedo.

"We can go together." Stephen says. "As a group of friends."

"Pals before gals!" Remy says.

Luke smiled at this and hugged his friends.

The others look for gifts to get Luna as Brandy got a guitar pick for her. A lot of people wouldn't be at Luna's 18th birthday party, which was being held at the mall.

Lucy was at Haiku's place.

"I can't believe Luna and Luan forced you to do that. I didn't know a goth could perform on stage. You surprised me, Lucy." Maggie says.

"Not to mention Cuphead forced himself on my sister and Chalice dumped my brother." Lucy says, feeling bad for Luke. "Francisco knocked Cuphead out cold."

"Guys, I got us a gig." Luna says to Sam and her bandmates.

"What gig?" Sam asked.

"Tell us!" Sully says.

"I got us a gig at the Royal Woods Summer Fun Fest." Luna says.

"No way! That is exclusive!" Sam says.

Mazzy grinned.

"I heard about this new band that played at Preston Delaney's birthday party…" Sully says. "I saw the band while I was catering that party with my parents."

"I know, and this may be our last gig." Luna says sadly.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"Lately, no one wants us. Luke's band got really popular." Luna says.

"So let's show the world why we were awesome in the first place." Sam says, then notices Luna is still upset. "She's still upset…"

"Almost nobody is here for my birthday! Why? They hate me!" Luna cried.

"Maybe they had plans?" Mazzy says.

Brandy gives Luna a gift. Luna sniffed and opened it to see the new guitar pick. She was smiling at this.

"Thank you." She says before hugging Brandy.

With Luke, he was discussing the 8th grade prom plans with his friends after paying for their suits and tuxedos.

"So, should we take a limo?" Stephen asked.

"Oooh, that will be awesome!" Garrett says. "We'll arrive in true style!"

"I like it! Are we gonna go for a post-prom dinner afterwards?" Remy asked.

"Possibly. What restaurant should we go to for that?" Luke asked.

"Ooooh, what about Giovanni Chang's Italian-Chinese Bistro? Their chicken alfredo chow mein is delicious!" Beau says.

"Sounds good, we'll go there." Luke says with a smile.

Brandy watches them from the party area. He looks down.

"What are they even doing?" He wondered. He shyly watches them by.

"What are they going on about?" Sam asked.

He shrugged.

"The 8th grade prom is in 2 weeks. That's what they're talking about." Luna says.

Brandy looks down.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked as she looked at Brandy.

"I wish Luke and I were friends again…" he says.

"I know." Sam says.

Charity had brought lunch for the party. Luna gets her food and eats.

Leni came up to Luke and his friends.

"You need me to make you something for prom?" she asked Luke.

"Well…The tuxedo I got is missing a jacket…" Luke says. Leni heads off.

The siblings see Luna eating with her bandmates.

"Happy birthday." Lana says.

"Thanks, Lana." Luna says.

Lucy leaves, not wanting to be around her. She sat outside writing poems about Luke. She then thinks of his 8th grade graduation day and starts to plan his 8th grade graduation party.

With Luke, he heard about Lori's graduation being the same day as his. Garrett was in disbelief when he heard about that. So were Remy, Beau, and Stephen.

To say Luke was angry was a huge understatement. He was livid.

"I want her executed!" Luke screamed.

"I heard Lori tell you how her graduation was a bigger deal than yours because she's graduating from college." Lonnie says when she walks by Luke. Luke hissed.

"So Lynn is finally graduating from 8th grade?" Lucy asked.

"After getting held back, yeah." Lola laughed.

"Do you still have dyslexia?" Lucy asked as Lola tears up. Charity sees this.

"Lucinda, what did I tell you about asking her that?" Charity says.

"I just wanted to know if she needed help." Lucy says.

"Honey, that's a very touchy subject for Lola. She's getting help at school for that, and she's been doing a lot better." Charity says.

"What she needs is anger management." Lucy says and walks away, only to see Lynn trying on a dress.

"Lynn's trying on a dress?" Lori asked.

"Her birthday was last month…" Leni says.

"Francisco asked her to the 8th grade prom with a baseball-themed promposal, and she said yes." Charity says. "So don't make fun of her. Or you'll be in big trouble."

"I'm so glad we aren't in New York. Their prom got delayed." Lori says. "Speaking of which, I think I can be there for Luke's graduation." Lori says.

Later, at home, Luan got the piñata out. Piñatas weren't allowed in the mall, so the piñata and cake were being done at home, which Luna agreed to when her party was being planned.

Luna broke the piñata open, sending candy everywhere. She then got her share and ate a little bit of it.

Brandy sits alone.

Luke was at Remy's house with his friends. He didn't want to be part of Luna's 18th birthday festivities because he was still mad at most of his family members and didn't want to face them.

"I'll have most of them executed after I graduate from 8th grade…" Luke hissed.
