On Monday, the kids got ready for school, but Luke and Garrett were nowhere to be found.
Everyone was eating in separate rooms as the atmosphere was still tense. Soon, they head to school as Luke was planning to attend drama auditions with Garrett.
Brandy came in. He wanted to attend. The argument ruined his handwriting and intelligence.
"What happened? First, you let villains roam. Now your handwriting stinks, and what happened to Garrett?" Stephen asked.
"Garrett is not a bad boy…" Garrett sniffed, still broken from his PTSD.
"Garrett has PTSD and I don't care about what happened to Brandy." Remy says as Brandy heads to class.
In class, Luke was helping Garrett with his work as he was badly broken.
"Start with what you know…my name is Garrett Alexander Miller…I am 14 and going to high school…I am good at cheerleading and basketball and baseball…Luke is going to be my brother soon…" He says to himself.
Brandy looked down.
"Brandy, Garrett needs you." Stephen says.
"Nope, I'm a retiree. Plus, he has Luke. No one needs me. I couldn't stop my family from cracking." Brandy says.
At lunch, Mike tripped Brandy.
"Idiot!" Randy says to Brandy and walks to Mike, growling and upset because he was affected by his parents' situation.
"Okay, what's going on?" The teacher asked.
Lynn ends up knocking Garrett from his wheelchair, causing him to wail like a siren.
"What the?!" Alem tuber says as Mike and Josh trip Alem tuber into Angry Luigi and rush off to their unicycle and make a getaway.
The twins fell on Colleen and Lynn by mistake.
"Whatever. This town has Luke as a hero. Not me." Alem tuber growled and walked away as Angry Luigi sniffed.
"You need therapy." Margo says to Lynn as she helps Luke get Garrett back into his wheelchair.
Suddenly, the ambulance arrived. They begin to wheel Garrett away. Luke grew very concerned. Lucy sees this.
"This is my fault, my fault…" she confessed in public.
Charity tore Lynn a new one once she came to the school.
"Mom, just punish me already. This all started because of me." Lucy sniffed. Charity shook her head.
"What the heck is going on?" The principal asked. Charity had to explain everything.
"All because of a game?" she asked.
"Yes, and I started the chain. Please punish me." Lucy sniffed. "I already lost everything."
"You started the chain?" She asked
"I made Chalice try to dig a grave because she made me kiss Cuphead in front of everyone. I just wanted her to suffer." Lucy says.
"Lucy, how could you?" Stephen says.
At the hospital, Luke was with Garrett.
"I am sorry, but Garrett can't be around the siblings anymore." Maria says. "Too many anger issues and the constant fighting made his PTSD flare up."
"So send them back to Rita?" Luke asked.
"Nope. Boarding school." Charity says. "I've had it with their behavior!"
"I'm heading back home." Alem tuber says.
"Luke's going to miss his chance to be in the play if he misses this audition." Colleen says.
"FINE! IF I SHOW UP, WILL YOU GIVE ME A MOMENT'S PEACE?!" Luke snapped. Brandy screamed, startled by Luke and ran off.
Soon, the audition began as Luke and Brandy tried their best.
Luke got a major part, the lead part, in fact.
Brandy didn't get a part and left, looking down. He tried his best, but failed.
With that, Luke headed back to be with Garrett.
The siblings were at home. Charity had called a therapist so things could be discussed out in the open. She and Forest were getting married this fall and she wanted things to be less tense.
Lucy hadn't come home. She really feels guilty. Charity was crying when she heard Lucy was never coming home. And she cried with Forest when she heard Garrett could never move properly again because of Lynn.
Forest took all of Lynn's sports equipment and donated it to a sports charity. He also made Lynn wear normal clothes after taking all her jerseys and donating them to Goodwill. Then he called all her coaches, kicking her off of all her sports teams, blaming sports for her aggressive behavior.
Lynn looked ashamed of herself for what she did to Garrett.
Lori didn't have it much better. Ever since the video of her hurting Garrett went viral, her life fell apart faster than it did when she hurt Luke. She had to attend anger management classes three times a week on top of her part-time job at Smoothie Palace. She was still lucky to have a job. As far as her college life went, she could no longer go to Fairway, so she had to attend community college and use her paychecks to pay for books and classes there. She would have very little money left for herself.
Therapy went well as a lot of stuff was brought out in the open. Needless to say, aggression would be a thing of the past in the Huntington household.
Here's how things went for the past few weeks…
The Waterlashes were getting ready to move out of Royal Woods and back to Greendale. Skylia had finalized her divorce and gained full custody of her kids. She was glad that she could finally move on.
That would mean Luke was losing a friend. But Luke's friend group just didn't feel the same way.
Skylia was packing her stuff and Emma's stuff and asked the twins to do the same with their things.
Valentine's Day was uneventful, for the most part. The kids did have school, but that just felt like a normal day more than anything else.
"We have to perform, Luke." Chalice says.
"Perform on what?" Luke asked coldly.
"The show. It's tonight." Chalice says.
"You are not my show partner. You know this." Luke says.
"Oops…I mean you and Oliver." Chalice says.
"Yeah, where's Lucy, we need to prepare." Cuphead says.
"She's been giving you the cold shoulder ever since you broke her heart." Luke says.
Cuphead entered her class. Lucy just stared at him.
"Listen, I'm sorry…" Cuphead says to her.
"You prefer Lynn. You don't love me." Lucy says coldly.
"She forced me." Cuphead says as Lucy had no emotion, knowing that he was lying to her.
"You forced yourself onto her and the minute you two made out, that's when you broke my heart." Lucy says.
"What about the show?" Cuphead asked.
"Ask Lynn to be your show partner. You seem to love her more than you ever loved me!" Lucy says with no emotion.
"Well, you're the one who ruined Chalice's birthday!" Cuphead shouted. Chalice stormed in.
"The truth is that I wanted her siblings out of my party! Her siblings ruined my birthday if anyone is to blame for ruining it!" Chalice says.
"Chalice, I started the chain of events." Lucy says.
"Your siblings were the main ones who decided to ruin my birthday." Chalice says. "They shouldn't have tagged along. I was only expecting you and Luke to show up."
"I have a class here." the teacher says.
"Well, your class can be put on hold." Principal Ramirez says to the teacher. "Or take it outside to the school courtyard. They're trying to resolve a conflict here."
The teacher took her class to the courtyard. Once the classroom was empty of the other kids and the teacher, that allowed Chalice to continue talking to Lucy and Cuphead.
"Fine, but Lucy, I need you. Please…" Cuphead began to shed tears. "Lynn is nothing to me! I swear!"
"I don't know, do you promise to not cheat on me?" Lucy asked.
"I promise, I swear I will never cheat on you!" Cuphead says.
"Okay. We're together again." Lucy says.
Soon Luke and Oliver were practicing. Oliver noticed Brandon and Mark and glared. He couldn't stand them.
Lucy walked in to get ready, hand-in-hand with Cuphead. Margo was smiling and carrying Mugman bridal style.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was heading there but the road was blocked.
"Oh, great, looks like I have to use magic." Skylia says as the Golden shooter was spying.
"Okay, Brandy, I think you're being targeted." Skylia says.
"And Luke isn't in Greendale. He can't save your butt." Alem tuber says as Skylia flew them over.
The show started a few hours later.
"Get ready to lose." Alem tuber says to Oliver. Oliver ignored him as he was warming up for the show.
"If it isn't the so called heroes why don't you retire from this show." Mark says
"Because my fans adore me and some of Luke's fans adore me. I'm the guy." Alem tuber says. Mark rolled his eyes.
Lisa put on makeup as Beau smiled.
"Who do you think will win?" Savannah asked Bill.
"People have an unhealthy attraction to Luke and the cups. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Bill says.
The hosts came on stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Audition quarterfinals!" Victoria says. "Tonight's show will be themed around sports and all things athletic as we are live from the Detroit Tigers baseball stadium!"
"Tonight will also feature a quadruple elimination. Four teams will strike out as they will be sent home tonight, sending six lucky teams to our semifinals show in Grand Rapids! So let's get those votes in, America!" James says.
"Coming up first is the team of Wlem and Wandy!" James says.
While they were performing, Lucy was writing in her poem book, still guilty for self-inviting the siblings to Chalice's birthday party when Chalice only wanted her and Luke there.
She sniffed as she got ready minutes later.
"Coming up next are some real show-offs! Give it up for Cuphead and Lucy Huntington!" Victoria says.
Cuphead and Lucy do a routine using the song "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns N' Roses. The crowd was actually liking this a lot.
"Cuppy and Lucy!" Fans chant and cheer.
Luke and Oliver are getting ready backstage, dressed head to toe in custom baseball uniforms.
Oliver adjusts his baseball cap and smiles.
"Next, get ready for the stars of the show, the ones that will guarantee us a home run performance, Luke Huntington and Oliver Fox!" Victoria says.
Girls go wild as the boys appear. They start their performance of "Swing" by Trace Adkins.
Brandy frowned as he always felt inferior to Luke. Colleen blushed, seeing Brandy. She wasn't made aware of his upcoming move, however.
Luke smiled as he and Oliver finished their routine by hitting an actual home run, running around every base, then sliding into home plate.
Fans cheered wildly and some girls were screaming the boys' names.
"Okay, time to show why we're the best." Alem tuber says as they were next.
"Next is a team that will rock the bases, Randy and Brandy Waterlash!" Victoria says.
Fans cheer as the twins appear. They perform "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John.
Girls screamed for the twins.
"Go, Brandy!" Colleen shrieked, holding a sign.
"What's with her?" Stephen asked, pointing at Colleen. Garrett shrugged.
Mugman had an interview with James. Mugman talked about his interest in writing and how his relationship with Margo was going.
Soon, Mugman and Margo appeared on stage. They do their performance of "Get'cha Head In The Game" from High School Musical.
The crowd was loving their basketball tricks.
Lisa and Beau were next as they performed "I Don't Dance" from High School Musical 2. The crowd really got into it.
Beau's family cheered him on as he danced.
Brandy was looking down, feeling insecure about himself.
Mark and Brandon finished as the judges pressed the gold button, making Brandy even more insecure.
Luke and Oliver just looked annoyed by this.
"Ha ha!" Mark says.
"Stay away from them!" Luna growled. The two guys immediately run like cowards, knowing what Luna is capable of when provoked.
After the show, Luke's confidence was now shot. While he was lucky to make it to the semifinals, he wasn't confident about winning anymore. And thanks to the siblings, it was harder to be confident now.
"I hope you're all proud of yourselves now. Luke is thinking of quitting the show because you couldn't behave yourselves long enough to watch him!" Charity says.
"Luke doesn't need us." Lana says.
"He needs your support! How hard is it to support him?" Charity asked. "There are times where he came to your events and gave you support! This Audition thing is really important to him, especially now."
"I watched it at Skippy's house, plus he could do it without us." Lana says.
"You believe Luke is unstoppable?" Lola asked.
"Yeah and Garrett wants to support Luke. So I can't actually stay for him. We actually can't be in the stadium thanks to Lola." Lana says.
Lori looked ashen.
"She thinks I don't need her. She thinks I'm some ultra-powerful guy who has everything…wow, just wow…" Luke says, shaking his head.
"If that's not faith, I don't know what is." Garrett says.
"Maybe she's right. Maybe I can save Oliver's butt." Luke says. He then glares at the siblings.
"If any of you actually have a supportive bone in your body, then you'll come to the semifinals show in a few weeks. If you don't, then I at least know the siblings who actually care enough to support me will show up!" Luke says before going to find Oliver.
"I told your siblings to not show up tonight." Colleen says. "I'm scared of them."
"YOU DID WHAT?!" Luke shouted.
"Come on, Luke, face it, I didn't want them around me either." Chalice said.
"You have no idea how scary they can be." Mugman says
Luke just leaves, shedding tears and feeling very betrayed.
"I hope you're all proud of yourselves." Stephen says.
"We did it for Garrett. He nearly died. He can't stand being around them without mentally breaking." Chalice says.
"Well, I guess I'll have to tell Mrs. Huntington that her wedding is cancelled, then." Stephen says coldly.
The siblings see this.
"We need to make peace with Garrett. Or Mom will be lonely again. She really loves Garrett's dad and is going to marry him in the fall. But seeing as all we do is fight and treat Luke and Garrett like trash, there may not be a wedding because we act like animals over trivial matters." Lisa says
"Which is impossible since you all just will revert back to normal, because this story just loves having us as antagonists when there are actual villains." Lucy says, breaking the 4th wall a bit.
Brandy was walking by and saw Mark and Brandon. He sighed as Margo and Mugman were walking to Margo's house.
"Luke will always beat me in everything..." he sobbed.
