CHAPTER 8

Kaguya POV

Feoh outskirts

Morning

I sighed in relief as the walls of Feoh finally appeared on the horizon. This journey of mine had been harrowing for me.

"We're finally here"

For the past 2 days, I have traveled nonstop with a company of guards to Feoh without rest. I thank my company for doing such a cruel task but it needs to be done. The visions have stopped, thankfully for the other mikos but not for me. Instead, the visions have focused on me and only me.

After my crazed frenzy, the visions no longer render me mad. It was now calm and serene, I would say but the feeling of dread is still there.

From time to time the visions come back and again I would find myself in the presence of that thing.

Only now it's different.

When I first saw the figure producing such beautiful wings I approached it, but I made a mistake. It looked at me.

It recognized me.

It was the reason why the visions have been focused on me. I'm the only Miko who managed to enter its domain. A mistake for sure but an enlightening one.

When the visions started coming back to me, I decided to investigate more to understand this foreigner with little success.

Whenever the vision starts again, I always find myself back to its presence in its circle. This time it has changed.

The foreigner has now become a giant. It towers over anything I can think of. I think I can fit inside its palm and still have space for me to move. The first time I saw this I almost tried to run away in fear. Tried.

The moment I tried to run, it covered itself with its wings of light. It also covered me inside, trapping me with it in an enclosed space. Nowhere to run, I resolved myself to figure out what the foreigner wanted.

With its wings covering us, I can now see its features clearly. It's a towering giant covered in armor or made of armor. I can't decide which it is because of how foreign and strange its body is shaped. But one thing is for sure, it looked human.

Strangely, its face is non-threatening compared to its dreadful appearance. It had a white ball-shaped head. The prominent feature of its face is the large pointed mustache it had. The mustache actually made it look like a gentleman.

After that vision, all visions became the same as the last. I studied the foreigner and it just stared at me for a long time, a feeling of warmth enveloping me.

The only thing that puzzles me is the reaction of my God every time I try to commune with him.

Fear

My God is afraid of the foreigner. It's the sole reason that it still makes me feel dread whenever I'm in the presence of that foreigner.

Looking back to Feoh, I hoped the Goddess Celestine could decipher this mystery.

My eyes widened in alarm as I looked at the phantom image of the foreigner looming over Feoh.

It was looking in my direction.

My breath hitched.

"It's already here. Celestine must know about this. "

Mika pov

Arcturus Fortress

I'm currently walking in the castle gardens trying to calm down all the Zeonic units I have.

When I woke up this morning, I found myself alone. Alexia had left, leaving a note before I woke up. The note told me how she was going to meet up with some friends to catch up on some news from her family. I sometimes forget that Alexia came from a noble family here in Feoh.

After cleaning myself up and eating breakfast at the castle kitchens. I'm finally free to calm down everyone in my head.

The ZAKUs want to drop colonies onto Feoh after evacuating the civilians. I pointed out we don't have any colonies to use for the said war crimes and told them to calm down on the war crimes. I felt them grumble in defeat and went away to look for some GMs to fight. Looks like the UC cluster will have a massive fight. Again.

Meanwhile, GP02 Physalis gave his suggestion. It was worse than the ZAKU's idea. The suggestion was instead of a colony drop, it should be a nuke. I swear Gato was a bad influence on this MS. No nukes and that's final.

The Zeonic Mobile Armors are the worst ones. Instead of a convoluted plan of mass destruction, all they want is just 5 minutes out of their cluster. That's it.

Like hell, I'm not allowing that shit!

I know these guys the moment they are out, they wreak havoc while chanting "Sieg Zeon". I turned them down instantly.

Dealing with Zeonic Faction MS always gives me headaches every time. Their quirky and overzealous personalities are pretty hard to handle and sometimes I would get caught with their flow.

The AI learning machine was my best find in the UC Era timeline.

The AI was able to record and learn a pilot's skill in combat. It did its job so well to the point it was able to defeat Char himself.

It was a huge surprise to me when Amuro relayed the story of his duel against Char in A Baoa Qu.

Losing an arm (his first critical injury in the war), Amuro is forced to abandon his MS and let the AI on board to finish the fight. Luckily, Char's MS is also in critical condition. The once giant MS has been reduced to a head cockpit.

The climax of the fight occurred on an elevator shaft. Amuro watched the fight to the end. He wanted to confirm if the AI could kill Char.

And then the last shot was made.

The Gundam went under the elevator shaft and immediately fired. The sound of an explosion was heard at the shaft.

It was a hit.

But at a cost. Char was able to shoot one last time before his apparent demise as the Gundam's leg exploded making the MS fall.

That was the end of the WHITE DEVIL.

Losing blood, Amuro called for an evac to me. When he relayed the story of how the AI was able to kill Char (which was later debunked after a couple of years), I decided,

I needed an AI.

And so did I. At the end of the OYW, I had a bunch of rewards from the system, one of them was the AI learning machine.

After that, I did what Eve called grinding.

I farmed a lot of credits and ace points doing various amounts of missions across other timeliness. I also found some better upgrades to the AI learning machine which I combined with a current one.

The results are staggering.

The RX-78 Gundam (which I rebuilt, thankfully) functioned so well that I thought Amuro was piloting it. I would later implement these AIs in many units.

I regret it now.

The AI, whose data was based on many respectable and skilled pilots, had developed personalities over the years. It was too late before me and Eve noticed the change.

Their newfound personalities had pros and cons. The pros are that said units can now act on their own judgment. Cons is that this made them more unpredictable in and out of combat.

I pinch my nose as the MS units finally settle down as I walk in the gardens.

"Oh, Sir Scout, It's nice to see you here"

A familiar voice called out.

I turned my head to see Princess Prim sitting on an outdoor veranda. With her is the Goddess herself.

I then paid my respects to her. She is one of the more respectable Princess Knights after all.

"Good morning, Princess, and to you, your holiness. " I bowed.

Sweet giggles reached my ear, it was Celestine.

"No need to be formal, Mika. Please join us. Little Prim is curious about your scouting missions in the badlands. " the said young princess went red. "Truthfully, I'm also curious about what stories you could share with us, dear."

"Of course, your highness. I'll be honored to entertain you. " I replied.

I joined them in the veranda which was filled with various sweets (I did not eat one) and started my tale by my first expedition.

To be honest, I hate it. I hate entertaining this naive Goddess. I'm only doing this because of Prim being here. If Her Highness was alone, I would find an excuse to avoid her.

Noticeably, Her Highness is casually talking to me. It was jarring and suspicious. It's as if she knows me. All of my alarms are ringing in suspicion of her. But I need more data as Ramba Ral said. You need all the info you need before you plan an attack and execute it.

For now, I made sure to have a UN Flag unit spy on her.

Noon

After entertaining the two royalties, I bid them adieu as noon came. I was walking back to the kitchens to get something to eat before a small woman bumped into me.

Naturally, I was like a brick wall standing tall. The girl meanwhile was pushed back towards the cold hard floor.

"Kya!" she squeaked as she was about to fall but I managed to snag her shoulders, stooping her fall.

"Are you alright?"

"Thank you, Mister, I -"

Our eyes met and a connection was made.

I heard her gasp but I ignored it as my Newtype powers went haywire.

This girl had the potential to be a Newtype, a powerful one. Just like Lalah.

Examining her, my brain immediately shut down.

What the hell is she wearing!

She looked like a Japanese Nadeshiko (Japan was a great country to visit) in a Miko outfit. But said Miko outfit is not something to be worn by a maiden of faith.

She had the normal upper robes but she didn't have a long skirt. Instead, her lower half is bare with the exception of her fundoshi which barely covered her maidenhood. I felt my eyes creeping over her child-bearing hips.

I immediately look up to control myself.

"Miss, you shouldn't walk around wearing nothing like that. You'll get sick." I managed to speak out.

"Ah?..."

"Oh, you mean my uniform, good sir. Don't worry about me, it's standard for us Mikos." she hastily said as she pulled herself out of my grasp.

Note to self; kill the guy who standardized this abominable getup.

I then look back down to her. She is standing in front of me. She is stiff as a board.

She is scared of me.

That's suspicious, it might be because I look like a dark elf but her emotion is not leaning toward that direction.

She is absolutely terrified of me.

Another headache for me.

With a sigh, I unclasped my cloak and pulled it off. She stiffened as I proceeded to wrap said cloak around her hips, turning it into an improvised skirt.

"There, now you won't get sick. Take care of yourself, Ms. Miko" Ruffling her short black hair, I resumed my journey to fill my stomach.

Unknown to me, said Miko is currently blushing madly with her heart pounding hard in her chest.

Nightfall

Celestine POV

"Are you sure of this foreign God, Kaguya?" I asked the eastern priestess.

"Yes, this foreign God had infiltrated Feoh. I saw it looming over the kingdom. My God went silent every time the foreign God made its presence known." she answered.

Currently, we are in the meeting room provided by Alicia. Kaguya's news is very troubling.

" Can you describe it, Kaguya? " I want to know what I'm dealing with.

" I already commissioned a painter to draw the entity, Your Highness." I smiled at her. Kaguya is very reliable like that. Already a step ahead of me.

She produced a scroll from her sleeves and handed it to me. Breaking the seal, I unrolled the scroll.

What I saw shocked me.

White doll?!

" Your Highness! "

Kaguya cried in alarm as the scroll fell to the floor. It rolled open, revealing its terrifying content.

Why is it here?!

I can hear Kaguya asking me what is wrong as I panicked. The sight of the terrible armor and what it's capable of is still fresh in my mind.

"Your Highness?!"

I surprised her by grabbing hold of her shoulders tightly.

"Can you speak with it?"

"What?" she asked confusingly.

"Can you talk to it?!" I screamed at her, shaking her roughly.

"Yes, yes. I can speak with but the foreign God must first initiate contact," she screamed out, terror in her face.

I looked at her fear-stricken face, I did this.

Oh, what have I done?!

"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, Kaguya." I apologized to her profusely. I released her from my grip.

Rubbing her shoulders, Kaguya waves it away.

"I'm alright, Your Highness. But I asked you, why are you afraid of this foreigner?" Kaguya asked as she looked at the Visage of destruction.

I sighed. Time to tell the truth.

"I know this entity, Kaguya," I confessed.

"What?!" she cried out.

"And I know what it is capable of. Believe me, if that entity decides to kill us all, we can't do anything about it."

I collapsed in my seat in defeat. Kaguya took a seat beside me to comfort me, patting my hand.

"Your Highness, please tell me what I need to know. This entity always calls for me now and then, maybe I can understand it."

"No, there is no understanding of that monster." shaking my head at the idea. "Kaguya, please understand, there is nothing you can do to fight it."

"How can we know if we don't try, your Highness?" she told me.

I looked at her. Determination is in her eyes. I sighed, she would definitely try something if I didn't tell her what I knew.

"Alright, but what I'm about to tell you should not leave this room. Promise me."

"I promise your highness." she bowed low to me in gratitude.

For the next hour, I told her a limited knowledge of what I knew.

Of who the foreign god is.

Kaguya PO

Nightfall

I'm sorry, your Highness. I lied to you.

I lay on the bed processing what Celestine had revealed to me.

A foreign weapon of destruction, capable of destroying anything in its path with its massive wings of light. Anything it touches would turn to ashes. It's not a God but a monstrous weapon of mankind.

No wonder it's filled with ash

I remembered the desert made of ash. I shudder at what it once was before turning into ashes.

My mind then wandered to the handsome young man this noon. The reason for my lie.

That God or weapon hadn't infiltrated Feoh because that man carried the entity inside of him.

When our eyes met, I knew a connection was made. I can't describe it. It was as if I had known him my entire life. His entire life was bare for me to witness.

That man was made for War.

I saw countless battles. It was confusing and chaotic. I even saw the entity fighting others of its kind and killing them.

I don't understand why.

Why did it choose to contact me?

Why does my heart yearn for that man?

Why is my heart beating so loudly?

And why am I masturbating to him?

How shameful. Just thinking about him made it itch and wet downstairs. I didn't notice when I started playing with it.

This is your fault, you handsome bastard.

In another room

"Why do I feel horny and who is badmouthing me?" Mika wandered out loud as he tried and failed to sleep because of the strange feeling of horniness that didn't come from him but from another source.

I decided to alternate both SW and SG fic to make it work.

Meanwhile, my other fic, ACL or AQW isekai fic is going to be a side project because it's a huge fic with multiple story arcs.
