Because she had exclusive interviews with Spider-man but she doesn't know she's Spider-Man. So its kind of like in the comics or Superman, Mary Jane has a huge crush on Spider-Man but Peter has a crush on Mary Jane, so…kind of.

"This is it! I got you pinned inside the tent, staring at an all-out blitz." Green Lantern Hal said as he created a boa staff." "Wait. What? What do you mean?" she creates the same staff as Hal did until… "No, no, no." Kilowog, one of the green lantern corp stops the fight, then the two green lanterns land where Kilowog was. "I don't get it, Cruz, what's the plan here? Hope the pizza guy happens by and distracts him?" Kilowog scolds Jessica.
"Eh, could be a good strategy, actually." Hal bumped in. "Quiet, Jordan!" Kilowog shouted. "If you were fightin' anyone other than this poozer, you'd be in the infirmary right now." he gestured to Hal. "I told you, Kilowog. Jess doesn't fight." Hal stated, but then Kilowog creates a giant hammer preparing to battle. "In the Green Lantern Corps, everyone fights." then he attacks Jess when she uses her shield to block the attacks
"Your ring is only as strong as your willpower. Fear weakens your mind. It renders your ring useless." Kilowog said as he then finally breaks Jessica's shield. "Why won't you fight back? Are you afraid?" Kilowog asked. "I'm not afraid!" Jessica then throws an octopus that she created at Kilowog. Hal laughed and said, "She's beating you with sushi." Hal said. Kilowog then pulled the octopus off, that's when he found himself standing on a carpet that Jessica created that she used to pull and knock out Kilowog
"I just believe that when it comes to fighting, there's always another way." Jessica stated. "You got lucky. Well, you won't be able to keep that up, forever. Sooner or later, you will have to learn to fight." Kilowog explained. "Or else we remain the best galaxy defender than the Nova corp!" He said. "Wait, I thought there was only one member of the Nova Corp?" Hal asked. "Quiet Hal!" Kilowog said.
Back on Earth, Gwen and Kamala are having a conversation at school where a homecoming pep rally is about to start soon. "So Gwen has Mr. Parker asked MJ out for a date?" Kamala asked. Gwen chuckled and said, "I wish, but no luck." "Man, It must be hard for Mr. Parker to try to ask the famous reporter of the Daily Bugle, who reports on superheroes." Kamala stated. "Especially his child best friend too," Gwen replied. "Besides, Mary Jane has her gogo eyes on Spider-Man." she stated. "Well, I hope Mr. Parker gets his chance to get a date with her soon." Kamla said. "Yeah, I hope Pete does too…"
Soon, the two lanterns returned to Earth, and at the school football field. "Yeah, Kilowog's right, you know. You're gonna have to hit someone, eventually." Hal said. "Oh, Hal, must you be so wrong about so many things?" Jessica said. Sooner than later, Gwen and Kamala came in.
"Sup, Jess!" Gwen said. "Hi!" Kamala said. "Oh! Hey Gwen, and, Kamala! Were you also having a conversion too? "Yeah." Gwen said. "We were talking about my old Babysitter and close friend, Peter Parker, trying to get a date with Mary Jane." Gwen stated. "Really?" Jessica asked. "You mean the famous Mary Jane Watson, of the Daily Bugle, and has a huge crush on Spider-Man?" Jessica asked more. "Yeah, and it's hard that Mr. Parker is Spider-Man…" before Kamala could finish. Gwen gave Kamala the don't do it face as she pointed to Hal. "...'s Roommate." Kamala lied. "Oh, really?" Jessica asked. "Yup. Pretty crazy that Mr. Parker and Spider-man living together." Kamala lied. "Yes indeed, Pretty crazy." Gwen said.

"Well back from his old town, aka Asgard, the realm of the Norse gods, It's super peaceful, and most are not violent to one another." Kamala stated. Jessica then gave Kamala a hug and said, "see Kamala gets me. "But…" Kamala pulled Jessica away. "Its required to have a guardian to protect the realm, because it is a target for dark magical creatures and villains, so that's why there are guardians who choose violence to stop the bad guys from ruling asgard." Kamala stated. "See, Jess I told you things like that would happen." Hal said. 'This is super complicated.' Gwen thought as she had she was holding her nose of embarrassment. Then two girls and the hamster mascot came in.
"Go get him tonight, Jordan!" a girl said. "Nibble on, Hamster!" a second hamster said as the trio then whooped for cheering. "Hibble on. Whoo!" Hal said. Then the three girls walked away in annoyance. "Hey!" Hal then ran to catch up with them.
"Life isn't like a sports match, Hal." Jessica said. "There are more ways to perform a touchdown than punching people." Jessica stated. "Yeah, you're the nice Hulk Jess." Kamala stated. "Yeah, whatever. I stopped listening after "Hal."" Hal said as he's not caring. "You got issues, dude." Suddenly, a bus pulled up and Hal immediately became alarmed! "Oh, no!" Hal gets scared as he hides behind the trash can. "I didn't know that we were playing with these guys." he pointed to the opposite football team. Jessica started laughing and said, "Hang on! Is the great Hal Jordan afraid of the other team!"
Gwen laughed too and said, "That's funny!" Kamala joined as she laughed and said, "You're so pathetic." "It's not the team I'm afraid of." He started as he started whimpering and then said, "I finally got tracked down... By my greatest enemy." His "greatest enemy" appeared to be a cheerleader wearing a red uniform, red lipstick, blackish purple hair, purple eyes, and a red bow on her head.
"What? Behind the cheerleader?" Jessica asked. "It is the cheerleader!" Hal said, cowardly. Kamala got confused and said, "Really? She doesn't look dangerous." "Yeah, why are you afraid of her, its just a cheerleader." Gwen said. 'Whats next? Flash Thompson a fraid of the flagman? I bet Peter would laugh at that.' Gwen thought to herself. "That's what she would want you to think." The cowardly Hal said.
She then noticed Hal, getting an angry look, while walking behind the bleachers, where a strange pink glow occurred. Hal gasped and said "I think she saw me!" Then he started whimpering. "Oh, stop it, you big baby.I'm sure she's…" Before Jessica could say anything she then notice the glow …harmless." Jessica said. "What the?" Kamala asked "Oh Great, I hate when someone else is right." Gwen said.
The cheerleader reappeared, only to be wearing her hair down and loose, with a pink lantern power ring in her right hand. She's also wearing princess-themed clothing, including a pink tutu with puffy sleeves and white high collar, along with white elbow-length gloves and matching knee-length socks, and pink high heels, a pink tiara with a white star, and pink lipstick. She was also known as Star Sapphire. "Thought you got rid of me, didn't you, Hal Jordan?" Star Sapphire said in a sinister voice. "Well, now, YOU'RE MINE!" she ;aunches flaming heart, which makes everyone panic.
"You belong to me, Hal Jordan." Star Sapphire shouted. "Show your face, HAL JORDAN!" she was rapidly firing flaming hearts. "Come on!" Jessica shouted. "Run!" Gwen said. Hall yells in terror. "Wait For Me!" Kamala said as she was catching up to the trio. Star Sapphire continued her rampage by launching exploding hearts everywhere, while Gwen, Kamala, Jessica, and Hal ran. Soon they were hiding behind the popcorn kart "What's going on? Who is this girl?" Jessica asked. "And why is she obsessed with you?" Kamala asked. "You better talk before we get fried by that pink psycho!" Gwen said. "She's called Star Sapphire, and she's super clingy." Hal said.
"Really, I didn't see that in her." Gwen said. "Me neither." Kamala said. "I can see that." Jessica stated. "Is she some kind of super evil maniacal space princess or something?" She asked. "Worse! She's... my ex-girlfriend." Hal said embarrassingly.
"Wait. What?" Jessica said. "Your Ex?!" Kamala said. "Are you serious?" Gwen said, then an explosion happened. "Leave it to you to date a supervillain." Jessica said, "Come on, Hal. As Kilowog would say, "Let's stop this bruiser." she said. After saying that, Jessica and Hal start to transform. "In brightest day, in blackest night…" Jessica said the first part. "No evil shall escape my sight…" Hal continued. "Let those who worship evil's might…" Jessica continued. "Beware our power…" he continued. "Green Lantern's light!" Both said it, however Jessica then transforms into Green Lantern, while Hal's ring is sputtering.
"What's wrong with your ring?" she asked until she gasp and said. "Hal! Are you scared?" "Really?" Gwen said, while Kamala scoffs in laughter. "Dude! She really freaks me out." Hal excused. "Alright, our turn!" Kamala said as she and Gwen quickly changed into Ghost-Spider and Ms. Marvel. "And now it's for two legendary heroes Ghost-Spider and Ms. Marvel, let's get stretchy!" Ms. Marvel said, until she saw Ghost-Spider looking at her. "and something about spiders," she said nervously.
"You never told me that your new friends were superheroes." Hal said as she was shocked to see the duo, "Yup, I've seen him do that." Just then Star Sapphire fired a heart right towards them. "Run, Hal, the locker room!" she told Hal as he did. "You can't run from my love, Hal Jordan!" Star Sapphire said as she fired hearts.
As she was firing her fiery hearts at Hal, Ms. Marvel then ran in front of Hal and jumped. "EMBIGGEN!" she shouted as she grew hands and slammed her hands on Star Sapphire, but she blocked it by using her ring to create a heart shaped shield. "Is that the best you do?" Star Sapphire taunted. "Just need her to get close to you." as Ms. Marvel that, Ghost-Spider appeared from her invisibility and shoots webs to cover up Star Sapphire in webs. "Sorry, but it looks like the ace of hearts has been bested by the ace of spades." Ghost-Spider joked as Ms Marvel landed next to her, until pink energy glowed and Star Sapphire escaped the webbing.
"I'll show you a ace of hearts!" She created an ace of hearts card and launched it at the duo. "Look out!" Ghost-Spider shouted as she and Ms. Marvel dodged it. Then she creates more hearts and fires at them. Green Lantern creates a bow and arrow to destroy the hearts and she then creates a bubble around Hal and the Duo. "What did you do to her?" Green Lantern asked Hal. "You better start talking!" Ghost-Spider said. "Yes, Please!" she begged. "Nothing." Hal responded. "She's just mad 'cause I broke up with her." he stated
"Worst! Text! EVER!" Star Sapphire said as she was continuing to fire. "Wait!" Green lantern stopped and made the bubble disappear, which then Hal fell down. "You broke up with her over text?" She asked. "You got some serious love issues, dude!" Ms. Marvel said. "Yeah, its like you pulled a reversed cupid." Ghost-Spider jokes.
"I put a smiley face in it. I'm not the Joker." Hal excused himself. 'Like the clown of gotham?' Ghost-Spider thought. "Well, now there's a frowny face…" Star Sapphire creates a heart with a frowny face. "On my heart!" she yelled and she threw it at Hal. Ghost-Spider managed to store bio-energy on her fist and purple energy was formed as she punched the heart. Then the four started running.
"How could you do that to her?" Green Lantern asked. "Really, dude?" Ghost-Spider said. "A smiley face? You should've gone for a better emoji!" Ms. Marvel shouted.
"You broke my heart." Star Sapphire said. "That's the lowest thing you've ever done." Green lantern told Hal. "You got problems with girls!" Ghost-Spider said "I cry myself to sleep every night." she said as she was continuing to fire more hearts. "That is the most stupidest super villain origin story ever, and I battled Doctor Doom once!" Ms. Marvel said.
One of the hearts almost hits Hal, which made him fly until he lands in Green Lantern's arms "Will you just hit her?" Hal asked. "If anyone deserves to be hit, it's you!" Green Lantern said as she created a brick wall.
Then they entered the locker room, then this happened… "Girls!" a boy pointed to the three girls and they all screamed and run away. 'Okay?' she thought. Green Lantern then slapped Hal. "Ow! Come on. I didn't know she was a Violet Lantern when I started dating her. She was just Carol." Hal stated. "A violet what?" the three girls asked.
"A Violet Lantern. You know, how our rings use will-power, hers uses love." Hal explained. "And I thought that the Nova Corp was the only ones." Kamala stated. "Oh yeah, and then I guess." Hal said. "Okay. Now, you go and apologize to Carol!" Ghost-Spider told Hal to do it until… "You can't run from me, Hal Jordan! Love will always find a way!" Star Sapphire shouted. "Give her a couple, though. She needs to chill." Ghost-Spider said.
Hal sighs and says, "If only I wasn't so effortlessly charming and ruggedly good-looking, then she wouldn't have any power." 'oh geez!' Ghost-Spider thought. Green Lantern gasped and said, "Wait a minute. You might be onto something there."
"Oh, so you think I'm ruggedly good-looking, huh?" Hal said as he did an expression "Ugh!" Green Lantern said and she slaps Hal. "Ow!" Hal said as he hold his face then Green Lantern pulling Hal to a mirror. "Not helping, Hal!" Ms. Marvel said. "Not helping at all!" Ghost-Spider said. Then Green Lantern puts Hal in front of a mirror "She's powered by love, right?" Green Lantern asked. "So, we have to make her not love you. By making you ugly." she stated.
"Sounds simple, but it could work." Ms. Marvel said. "Good luck." Hal said. "he's right, it won't work, it will only get worse." Ghost-Spider said. "You won't know until we try." Ms. Marvel said. After a few attempts, nothing worked. Hal clicks his tongue and says, "See? Lost cause." "Here, Maybe I can try." Ghost-Spider said as she gathered a little bit of bio-energy into her fingers and to shock Hal to make his hair hizzle and nearly burned to a crisp. Unfortunately, that didn't work either.
"Man!" Ghost-Spider said. "How are we going to get the ace of spades gogo eyes of pretty boy now? That's when Garth came in whistling while carrying laundry until he saw the four. "Oh, hey guys, what's up?" Garth greeted. "Hiya!" Ms. Marvel said. "Garth, take off your clothes." Jessica commanded.
"What?" Garth said until Green Lantern grabbed him for no reason. "Okay? What's the plan?" Ms. Marvel asked. It turns out, Jess decided to dress Hal in Garth's clothes. The duo were trying to hold their laughter. "Thanks, Garth. We just need to borrow your style for a bit." Green Lantern said..
"You're not the first to tell me that. Everyone loves my flava." Garth stated. "Your flava?" Ms. Marvel asked. "Don't ask!" Green Latnern told Ms. Marvel. "Okay, Hal, slouch it down a little." which Hal slouched. "Now, shorten your neck." Green Lantern told him, which he did. "Stick out your gut" She told him more then Hal sticked his gut more. "Little more." She told him to do, which he did.
Now, Hal looked like an absolute ape. "Perfect! That's super unattractive!" Ms. Marvel started laughing and said, "Totally! No one will go out with someone as hideous as that." "I'm telling you, it won't work, it will only get worse." Ghost-Spider said. "We gotta try though." Green Lantern said. "What are you trying to say?" Garth asked.
Hal then steps outside, ready to confront his ex, while acting like a total buffoon. Star Sapphire was tapping her high heel and said "There you are." "Greetings, Carol. You want to hear all about my new allergies?" Hal said acting all weirdly. "Eww." Carol said with disgust. Green Lantern gasps and said, "It's working. She's losing power."
"Yeah, Keep it up!" Ms Marvel said. 'Wow it's actually working' Ghost-Spider thought. Hal continued with his weird voice by saying, "Or... Or maybe... Maybe you want to come check out my…" he quickly whispered to Garth and said, "Hey, Garth, what's something dumb that you like?" "Star Battle comic books. But they're not dumb." Garth stated.
Hal went back to his weird voice and said, "My Star Battle comic books." Star Sapphire was devastated as she floated down to the ground. "Look at me, I'm such a loser-y. Ooh, oh!" Hal said in his weird voice. "Hey!" Garth felt offended by this.
Ms. Marvel was snickering and said, "Oh, I wish I was recording this right now." "Seriously?" Ghost-Spider asked. Star Sapphire gasped and started tearing up and said, "What happened to you?" she cried some more as she was cupping Hal's cheek and said, "My beautiful Hal Jordan."
"Sorry, baby. This is the real me." Hal said in a weird voice. "Clearly!" Ms. Marvel said as the two girls giggled. Star Sapphire whimpers and said, "Look at you, so sad. So pathetic. So gross." as Hal sniffled his nose.
"No one can ever love you like this." Then suddenly she powers up. "Excepts me, I'll love you forever! Only I can see the beauty behind the geek! No one can love you like I can, Hal Jordan. Not even… Her!" She said as Green Lanterm "hm." she said as she points at herself.
"I knew it. I knew something like this would happen!" Ghost-Spider shouted. "aw man! I cant believe youre right!" Ms. Marvel said. "Once you're out of the picture, there'll be no one left between me and MY HAL JORDAN!" she yelled as she started to get a thread of Green Lantern.
"Oh, wait! You think…" Then Green Lantern started to laugh and said laughs "No. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no no!" she then gets a hold of herself and said, "No. No, no, no, no, no. We are not together. Not even close to being together. We couldn't be less together-" before she could finish, Star Sapphire attacked.
"you will so regret the day you stole my Hally Waly from me." Star Sapphire said. "Carol, wait!" Ms. Marvel said. She then fired another exploding heart at Jessica! Green Lantern creates staff and starts breaking them down one by one Green Lantern then creates a bow and arrow and attacks her with a bunch of arrows but nothing prevailed. Ghost-Spider did a rapid web shooting, but due to Star Sapphire's power growing, it burned the webbing shots. 'But how?' Gwen thought.
"Powered up like this, who knows what destruction she'll cause. You have to fight her." Hal told her the one thing that Jessica vows never to do. "No. There's got to be another way." Jessica said as she then creates a wall, only for it to be destroyed. "Just hit her." he told her again "Not helping, Hal!" the duo shouted. "Hal Jordanis mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!" she shouted. 'Yeesh, and I thought Pete had crush problems.' she thought to herself because of how Peter has a crush on MJ.
"Come on. Fight. Fight." he told Garth to chant to Jessica to fight "Fight. Fight." the boys continued. "SHUT UP!" the duo shouted at the boys. "Jess, you're better than this, you always have a better idea." Ms. Marvel said. "There's no other way." Green Lantern said. "What do you mean?" Ghost-Spider asked. "I have to hit her" she stated. "What?" the duo said
She then charges at her with constructed fists, but instead of hitting her, she was hugging her. Star Sapphire screamed but she calmed down as she then said, "What... What are you doing?" "Carol, he doesn't love you."
Star Sapphire started whimpering and then crying as she said, "No!" Then she hugged back. "I'm sorry. I know it hurts." Green Lantern said as Star sapphire continued to cry. "He doesn't love you." Jessica said. "That is not how you hit!" Hal shouted
Ghost-Spider with his attitude, so she webbed up Hal's mouth. "That oughta keep pretty boy quiet for a while." Ghost-Spider said, while Ms. Marvel was nodding with Ghost-Spider, while Hal was trying to remove the webbing off his mouth. Ghost-Spider saw more of how Jessica is supporting Star Sapphire and she thought off her previous relationship with Miles Morales, until it ended with his death and funeral, and decided to go to them. Hal saw her going to the two so managed to remove the webbing off his face, and said, "YOW-What are you doing?!" before he could get to her, Ms. Marvel grew her hand to block Hal and said, "I know so watch."
"Carol." Ghost-Spider said. "Huh?" Star Sapphire said as Green Lantern to let go, only for Ghost-Spider to hug her too. "I'm sorry Hal has been treating you like this." Ghost-Spider said. "I know it's not right." she stated as she thought of the friendship of her and Miles. Star Sapphire then cries into his chest. Ghost-Spider hushes her and says, "There there, Carol! I know you're a nice girl."
"R-really?" Star Sapphire said. "Of course! I'm sure you can find someone better than Hal Jordan." Ghost-Spider said. Hal scoffed and said, "Good luck." this made Ms. Marvel slammed him to the ground and said, "Shut up, this is important!"
"She's right! I mean, look at him." Green Lantern said as she pointed to Hal, which made him confused. "His face is way too small for his head." she stated to Hal. He seemed to be embarrassed as Ms. Marvel snuck in. "He's got terrible breath." Green Lantern stated more. "It smells like dog food." Star Sapphire said, which made Ms. Marvel laughed more. 'Maybe Wolverine could tell his breath.' Ms. Marvel thought to herself
"His real name is Harold." Green Lantern stated more, which made Ms. Marvel laughs hard and points at Hal and says, "Now that's a funny name!" as she continued to laugh more. "My name is Hal!" Hal shouted. "Sure it is." Ms. Marvel said. 'And I thought my full name was embarrassing.' Ghost-Spider thought.
"The only book he's ever read is a playbook." Green Lantern stated more of Hal. "I tried to get him to read Pride and Prejudice once, and he asked where the pictures were." Star Sapphire stated more. "See? He's a smelly, freakish, nincompoop." Green Lantern stated as Ms. Marvel laughed more. "Uh, hey, Star, hit them." Hal told her, but Ms. Marvel made her fist bigger at Hal. "Okay okay, sorry, just don't hit me please." Ms. Marvel then got her hand back to normal size and then said, "I thought so."
"Listen, Carol, you'll find the love you need, when you learn to love yourself." Green Lantern said. "Yeah, I'm sure you could do that." Ghost-Spider said. Then Star Sapphire started to power up more.
"Thank you, Green Lantern. I don't think I've ever felt love like this. My blind desire for Hal Jordan kept me from seeing how much love I had inside of me." she said and then she hugs Jess. You're right, if he can't appreciate me, then he isn't good enough for me." Star Sapphire stated. Then all of a sudden she became more sinister as she then said. "So be warned, Hal Jordan" she pointed to Hal. "One day, I will make you good enough for me! And then you'll be mine, forever!" She then flies off into the city while laughing, this makes the girls very confused. "Well, that's not what I'd expected." Ghost-Spider said. "Me too." Green Lantern and Ms. Marvel said.
"You know, you could have just hit her, Jess." Hal said. "Now that she loves herself and is a hothead here, she'll be totally unstoppable. Trust me, I've seen a million chicks like this." he stated which made the three girls had enough as they punched him in the arm. "OW!" Hal said while holding so hard. "That's what you get!" Ms. Marvel said, "Hey how about we go get some Milkshakes? On the house!" She said as she pointed to herself. "But not you!" she pointed to Hal. "Hey!" Hal said. "Sure I'll be down." Green Lantern said.
"I'll catch up, just give me a minute." Ghost-Spider said. As soon as the three started to walk away, Ghost-Spider brought out her phone and made a call to a certain friend. "Hey Pete, okay you wouldn't believe the adventure I had, but first I want to give you a little advice…" she then started to shoot a web across town on her way to sweet justice.
As for the "relationship" of this Version of Gwen and Miles before his well "you know", It means the strong friendship that they had, so that doesn't mean that Gwen and Miles were a couple like the Spiderverse films, it explores there friendship of this versions of Gwen and Miles. Sorry for the confusion.
