Kakashi gazed at Naruto as the teen tried to win a gun-shooting competition against Omoi. In truth, he wasn't half bad, and it was amusing to observe his reactions as Omoi entered one of his slippery slope rants.
He got along so well with everyone – even Cea appeared to have been won over by his charm. Only Kamui failed to show a proper welcome as she still felt embarrassed by their earlier encounter.
Naruto didn't appear bothered. He posed his body, one leg behind the other, one eye closed, tongue sticking out, and –
"Ah, youth. Didn't finish the hot chocolate you made him, and he's still energetic," laughed Darui. He sipped his beer and met his gaze with a wink.
Kakashi flinched. "Mocha. Let's keep that part a secret, hmm?" he offered an apologetic smile. "He thinks it's regular coffee."
Darui snorted. "So he doesn't know he sent you running – "
"Kakashi!" Naruto ran to him, waving a piece of paper. "I won a coupon! It's for two yakisoba dishes!" He grabbed his hand and eagerly led him to the nearest stand.
Kakashi ignored Darui's snicker and held his hand, fingers tenderly brushing his knuckles. "Hmm? You got a good one, then." He guided him to his side, slowing him down. "I thought you'd go for a toy."
Naruto's ears flushed red. "'Course not," he mumbled. "You need to win one for me, or it doesn't count."
Kakashi blinked. He half expected Naruto to yell at him he wasn't a kid or something like that. He leaned closer and breathed in the teen's scent. "Pick your favorite, I'll get it for you," he found himself saying.
His voice was, perhaps, too low, because Naruto's cheeks bloomed red. The teen exchanged the coupon for the treats, slightly self-conscious as Kakashi observed him in silence and wondered at the teen's sudden shyness.
"Here," Naruto managed and handed him his share, but instead of eating his yakisoba, the teen's eyes kept flickering in his direction.
Ah. Kakashi caught a few fried noodles with his chopsticks, slurped them, and nodded approvingly at the vendor. He smiled at Naruto – who turned to stare at him – and though the teen blushed as if caught in the act, his responding bright grin was the best reply.
He caught the noodles with his chopsticks, sniffing them eagerly, and took a rather large bite. His eyes lit up. "It's so good! They really know their stuff, don't they?"
The cook smiled in response, and Darui, who trailed behind them, laughed outright. "Have you traveled outside of Hi no Kuni before, Naruto?"
The question was kind, but Naruto still flushed red, this time in shame, and tempered his enthusiasm. "No," he admitted, his voice quiet. "Um. I'm not rich, or whatever."
Kakashi's hand settled on the small of his back and pressed slightly.
Darui's eyes widened. "Ah, I apologize. I didn't mean to imply anything," he quickly said. "Don't feel bad. There is no shame in that." He offered a friendly, appeasing smile. "If anything, your reactions make me appreciate my hometown's food more." He ate his share and smiled at Naruto.
The teen shifted nearer to Kakashi. His eyes fluttered up in uncertainty, so Kakashi pulled him just a little bit closer. "If you liked that, you should try the okonomiyaki," he said offhandedly. "They add ramen noodles on top."
"Really?!" Naruto cried eagerly, his embarrassment forgotten. He finished his dish with three large bites. "I'ma win a coupon for that, too!" he declared and rushed to the nearest ring-throwing stall.
Darui laughed weakly. "Oh, man." He shook his head and sobered up. "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I didn't mean to offend him."
Kakashi finished his meal and threw away the plate. "It's quite all right. He's just… trying to leave a good impression, I imagine." Trying to act like a jaded adult, he thought fondly and sighed.
"He is very… enthusiastic," Darui said, a tad too careful, and Kakashi realized what he meant.
He is very young. "Well, no point trying to change who he is," he said, his voice meticulously casual.
"No," the man agreed. "Didn't imagine him as your type, that's all."
Kakashi sighed, the gesture perhaps too genuine because Darui's eyes flickered toward him. "Yes, well." His eye drifted, drawn to golden strands, captivated by shining eyes. "I couldn't resist him," he confessed.
He watched Naruto as the teen played another game at what appeared to be a toy stand. He threw the rings with impressive accuracy, reminding Kakashi of the day he decided to start a snowball fight, surprising him with his aim…
Darui finished his share and threw his plate in the trash. "Ah! Look! They brought a Ferris wheel! That's new," he said, laughing.
Kakashi cocked his brow. "A terrible tourist attraction," he noted. "I can't imagine – "
Darui jabbed his ribs and pointed at Naruto.
The blond shook hands with the vendor and pocketed something Kakashi could not see. Omoi joined him, talking about something Kakashi did not quite catch. As he started rambling yet another rant, Naruto suddenly froze, rooted to his spot, and gazed at the object in unadulterated awe.
Right.
Darui laughed, almost folding over, as Kakashi wordlessly turned around and walked to the stall marked with small wheels and blinking lights.
Damn it.
He will have no dignity left by the end of Naruto's visit.
Still, he bought the tickets and ambled back to Naruto's side. The teen and Omoi joined Darui, Omoi sipping on his boba while Naruto glanced around, looking a tad worried. Kakashi schooled his features and tapped on his shoulder.
Naruto turned around and grinned. His worried face lit from within, shining through his smile. He grabbed his hand. "Kakashi! Let's go on the Ferris wheel!"
He smiled and showed him the tickets he bought. "Lead the way."
Naruto's eyes widened as his lips parted in surprise. He bit his lower lip, trying to repress his grin, squeezed his hand, and looked away as he dragged him toward the attraction. His cheeks were flushed, the pink soft and becoming, and Kakashi tightened his hold of the teen's hand in response.
The silliness of Ferris wheels no longer mattered. Nothing else mattered.
He handed the tickets to the bored-looking operator, sneaking a five-dollar bill with them, and the man cocked a brow yet nodded his way.
Good. Kakashi settled onto the unyielding plastic bench, gradually acclimating to its discomfort, and observed Naruto as the teen chose the seat across his. His eyes darted about with palpable excitement, and his hands gripped the edge of the cabin as he impatiently waited for the wheel to rotate and the cabin to leave the ground.
Kakashi huffed at his child-like excitement – and froze. Naruto did not act like that because of his age; his excitement was too pure, too raw and fragile and brilliant to be merely the result of inexperience. No, he was living his childhood fantasies – with him.
The ice cream, the drawings, the hand holding…
All the things he dreamed of doing as a child but did not get the chance to experience.
Kakashi leaned back with a muted sigh. He shook his head, pulling himself together, and smiled softly when the cabin began to move and Naruto pressed himself against the wall, trying to swallow the world with his eyes. The vibrant blue shone like a bright summer sky, shimmering and dancing beneath the colorful fairy lights, and Kakashi suddenly wished he had Sasuke's eyes so he could burn the image into his mind and forever preserve this moment with his lover, as beautiful and dazzling as the sun.
He did have a phone, however.
Kakashi deftly retrieved the device from his pocket and snapped a photo of the teen.
He wanted to remember.
Naruto's excitement only grew as the cabin continued to climb. He leaned over the wall, marveling at the bright lights and the view. He really did find beauty in the mundane, Kakashi noted.
He could not look away.
Naruto suddenly leaned back, scrunching his nose. "Do you think the operator is drunk?" he asked, then looked back and met his gaze – and blushed bright red. Huh.
"No," he replied evenly. "Why do you think that?"
"Well, I'm tryna figure out how much time we'll have at the top," the teen confessed, "sometimes it's two minutes, and sometimes it's five, but I can't find the pattern."
"Well," Kakashi said, leaning back. "The official time limit is two minutes, but some bribe the operator to stretch it to five." He masked his grin when he noticed Naruto's immediate – and rather predictable – frustration.
"Eh?!" Naruto protested. "S'not fair! They should make it the same for everyone!"
Kakashi bid his time. "Ah. Well, had I known you felt so strongly about it, I would not have bribed the man." He forced himself to sit still and savor the sudden widening of Naruto's eyes, the way his mouth parted in shock, the flush striking through him.
The teen shifted in his seat, almost as if he wanted to jump into Kakashi's lap, yet fought to restrain himself.
Oh. "It won't tilt," Kakashi noted dryly, smiling at him. "Come here."
He reached with his hand – and Naruto leaped from his seat and landed in his embrace, straddling his sides and hugging his neck. He grinned at him, as bright as the sun, and rubbed his forehead against Kakashi's. "You didn't have to," he murmured softly, his voice tinged with shyness.
Kakashi thought of the shimmering light that illuminated the crystal blue and wrapped his hands around the teen's waist, drawing him closer. "I did," he said. Quietly, he admitted, "I wanted you all to myself."
The bridge of Naruto's nose bloomed red as he looked away and leaned against him, hiding his red face in Kakashi's neck. "That's all right, then," he mumbled, shy yet again, as he lifted his hand to grip Kakashi's shirt.
Kakashi cursed himself for thinking he was about to kiss him and gently rubbed his back instead. "You're missing the view," he murmured, brushing his fingers against his hair.
Naruto looked up, still cocooned in his arms, and leaned his chin on Kakashi's shoulder. "You were right, I think. It is prettier at night," he said, grinning. "Guess the brown isn't so bad, really. I just had to get used to it."
Kakashi hmmed. "It has only been a day and a half."
"So, plenty of time for me to change my mind," the teen teased.
Kakashi chuckled. He caressed Naruto's back, sniffing the scent of his skin and summer and… festival food. He leaned closer –
Naruto jolted up. "We're near the top!" he declared, excited, and leaned his hands on Kakashi's shoulders so he could see everything. "We're so high up! This is awesome!"
Kakashi leaned back and sighed quietly. I'm dating a kid, he thought, too affectionately to truly be upset, and buried his nose in Naruto's chest. Great. The scent of food became even more prominent.
Naruto caressed his hair, hugging his head close.
He could feel Naruto's chest expanding, then holding, the tension palpable within his grasp, then gradually easing back with a delicate, drawn-out shiver.
"We've reached the top," he blurted, his hold of Kakashi tightening as his chest shivered yet again.
Kakashi hmmed and looked up, drinking in the wide amazement in Naruto's eyes. Surely, they were not that high up? He blinked, taking in the stars, bright against the indigo sky ever dotted with thundering clouds. It dawned on him that the university was situated on a cliff, surrounded by mountains and caverns, and he understood what Naruto saw.
A Ferris Wheel perched on top of the world, sailing high above the clouds.
The teen looked down, his grin bright yet gentle, soft around the corners. "I love you," he mumbled, his voice rushed, and he cupped his cheek and kissed him.
Kakashi sighed. He pulled Naruto flush against his chest, then traced his fingers up, softly pressuring the curve of his spine, and tangled them in his hair. Naruto's lips were beyond enticing, sweet and spicy and demanding against his own, and he had to taste more of him, kiss more of him, feel him –
Naruto suddenly pulled away, his breath shaky and rugged. "I saw a lightning!"
A barking thunder followed his declaration.
Kakashi huffed, then caressed his lover's hair. "That's a sign of good luck, I heard," he commented, then leaned in and kissed Naruto's cheek.
The blond blushed and leaned his head against his chest, snuggling into his lap, and watched as the cabin slowly spun back to the ground.
Kakashi sighed and looked up, glaring at the sky. Though he supposed he really could not blame Mother Nature for her timing. And yet….
Naruto hugged the giant frog Kakashi won for him close to his chest. He felt silly, asking another man to win him a prize, but the soft smirk on Kakashi's lips was worth it. The way Kakashi looked at him was worth it.
The way he was still looking at him.
Darui sighed. "It was a good festival, wasn't it?" He turned around and smiled at them. "Well, this is where we part ways," he said, pointing at the intersection, "unless you guys wanna come up for tea?"
Naruto nodded eagerly. "Yeah!" Kakashi's friends were nicer than he had expected, and he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to show Kakashi he could hang out with them without standing out.
"Lead the way," Kakashi added, his voice slightly dry.
Naruto looked up. His eagerness suddenly melted into nervousness. Should he not have accepted the offer? Was the hour really late? Maybe Kakashi was tired?
But the man looked down and smiled at him, then ruffled his hair. His hand lingered, caressing the short strands and pulling him closer, and Naruto's breath eased. His hold of the frog plushie tightened as he grinned.
They followed Darui up a steep path to an isolated apartment block partly carved into the mountain. The man led them to his backyard, skipping the apartment, which made Naruto even more curious. Was that how twenty-year-olds hung out?
"Here we are," Darui said, gesturing toward a small table surrounded by fairy lights and beaten sofas that looked worn and comfortable. "Got a nice view of the sky tonight, don't we?"
The man walked inside, leaving Naruto to jump onto the blue couch and lie on the cushions, his head resting on his frog, stretching with an exaggerated sigh.
"Move, you brat," Kakashi grumbled, lifted his legs, and sat next to him. He shoved Naruto when he tried to put his feet in his lap and instead pulled him up. "Behave," he said.
Naruto laughed and leaned on his shoulder. "It's so pretty," he mumbled, gazing at the soft lights. "Can we build something like this in your yard?"
Kakashi hmmed. "If you want." His hand moved to rest on his knee and squeezed.
Naruto huffed and rubbed his cheek against Kakashi's shoulder. It really was beautiful tonight. The sofas were positioned so one had a clear view of the desert sky and the barren mountains, pale and elegant in the bright moonlight. It looked like an alien world from a movie, with sharp angles and rough outlines so different from the rounded softness of his hometown, and yet somehow majestic in their own right.
Kakashi bowed his head and kissed his temple. "What captured your attention?" he murmured, nosing at his hair.
Naruto grinned and leaned into Kakashi's touch. "The mountains," he replied, his voice soft.
Sounds of shuffling and humming disrupted the moment.
Darui returned carrying a tray and a small speaker. "Brought tea," he said, his voice cheery. "And some music."
The soft notes, something between jazz and old-time blues, blended seamlessly with the fairy lights, the weathered furniture, and the imposing mountains – dark shapes, lit by the moon and yet shadowing the stars.
It was enchanting and foreign and feral, and some people called it home.
Darui set up the mugs – and, after a moment of consideration, put the sugar bowl right next to Naruto – and offered Kakashi a cigarette.
A cigarette rolled by hand.
To Kakashi.
Naruto stared, eyes wide, as Kakashi accepted the lighter handed to him. He looked sheepish, of all things, when he turned to gaze back at Naruto.
Naruto realized his mouth was wide open, so he closed it. "You smoke weed?!" he cried, his voice an accusation.
Kakashi shrugged. "Sometimes." His glare narrowed the longer he gazed at him, his eye scrutinizing his face as it slowly heated. He cocked his brow. "I'd ask if this bothers you, but I understand you've smoked before."
Naruto burned red.
Darui laughed. "Busted!" And lifted his mug in his direction.
Kakashi lit the joint. He breathed in, drawing the small circle of fire toward him, then took a deep breath, locking the smoke in his lungs. He looked up, meeting his gaze, and released the smoke from his lips.
Naruto groaned internally. He looked so good doing that.
"How'd you-" He shook his head. Kakashi always knew, somehow, everything. "It doesn't bother you?" He leaned closer, balancing himself on Kakashi's thigh.
"You're old enough to decide for yourself," Kakashi replied evenly. "I'm surprised you didn't tell me," he commented, almost as an afterthought, as he brought the joint to his lips. And breathed in. And smoked –
Kakashi's eye met his, dark and deep and shadowed, and Naruto shook his head. Right.
"Um. Sakura said not to tell you cuz you were pissed when you found out we drank." He leaned closer, all but sitting in Kakashi's lap. "You look like a movie star," he blurted, his voice a muted gasp. His eyes kept seeking Kakashi's, delving into the burning black.
It was not until he heard Darui's discomfited coughing that he remembered they were not alone.
Naruto blushed and returned to sit next to Kakashi just as the man offered him the joint.
His blush deepened, and he felt oddly exhilarated that Kakashi – don't-drink-until-you're-eighteen-Kakashi – passed him a joint. He felt his eye on him, the slight curve of his lips, and wanted to show off.
He did what Kakashi did – took a long drag and then locked the air in his lungs – and coughed.
The two men laughed – not unkindly – and Kakashi leaned closer to the table, picked up a tea mug, and presented it to him. "It's Darui's material. It takes time getting used to."
"I grow it myself," the man said proudly, still chuckling. "One of the benefits of being a scientist."
Naruto sipped from the mug to calm his aching throat, then scowled at Kakashi. "S'bitter," he complained.
Kakashi cocked a brow before dutifully adding three teaspoons of sugar to the tea. Darui snorted.
Naruto's throat no longer felt irritated, so he tried to take another drag, coughed less, and passed the joint to Darui. He greedily gulped the sweet tea Kakashi offered him and leaned back.
His mind immediately felt as if it was about to detach from his body. The world moved slowly and his limbs felt heavy. Naruto crash-landed on the sofa and shifted so he rested against Kakashi. He was too high for maneuvers more complicated than bumping shoulders, but Kakashi, luckily, was not. He wrapped his hand around his waist, supporting his back, and guided him to lean against his chest.
Naruto snuggled closer. It felt good.
"So, does Kakashi let you drink now?"
Darui's quiet, teasing words snapped him from his reverie. Naruto lifted his hand and watched as it fell onto Kakashi's lap. It made him giggle. "I'm eighteen now," he declared, frowning when the muscle beneath his cheek hardened. He poked the man's shoulder.
Kakashi glanced at him, then relaxed his arm. Still, something about him felt edged, guarded, just underneath the surface. Something about the glance felt meaningful, but Naruto's mind felt sluggish and the meaning sank into oblivion before he could grasp it. Kakashi lifted his hand and caressed his hair, and Naruto forgot what he was worried about. "We have only started dating after he turned eighteen," he clarified.
"Yeah, because you decided to move here," Naruto muttered, offended. "On my birthday. You still owe me a birthday kiss, you bastard."
The arm beneath him remained soft, but the hard edge only sharpened. Naruto, dazed and dizzy, wondered if Kakashi perhaps didn't want Darui to hear that.
Darui passed the joint back to Kakashi. "So you met when you were seventeen – "
"Sixteen," Naruto corrected, unsure why it was important.
"Oh. All right," Darui said slowly. "But you started dating after."
Naruto nodded. "I tried to convince him that it doesn't matter, but he said I need to meet people."
Kakashi coughed. "Naruto – "
"What? You did! You sai-"
"I know what I said," Kakashi muttered, his hand tightening its hold on his hair. "But it could be misinterpreted."
Naruto's mind was slow, but something told him he might've fucked up. He sat up, his head heavy and spinning, and looked down. "You mean I said something stupid again," he mumbled, "like when I was drunk?"
Kakashi sighed. "Naruto – "
"You'll be angry with me tomorrow," Naruto managed, detached. He gritted his teeth, furious with himself and the stars that refused to stand still and the weed –
"No." Kakashi passed the joint to Darui, then wrapped his arm around his waist and again guided him back against his side. He laughed. "Though perhaps we shouldn't repeat this in public."
"What about him?" Naruto mumbled, pointing at the clearly amused man smoking across from him.
"This is Darui; he's a friend." Kakashi brushed his hair, guiding him closer.
Darui waved his hand, smiling back. "Did you guys meet at Konoha?" he asked, blinking curiously at them.
Naruto looked up at Kakashi, eyes barely focused, and wondered what he'd say.
Kakashi must have felt his gaze because he tangled their hands together, holding him close. "I was his math teacher during his senior year in high school."
"Oh?" Darui laughed, leaning back. "That makes a lot of sense." He laughed again. "I'm getting the feeling he did everything he could to make your life difficult."
"No, I didn't!" Naruto objected, glaring from his hiding spot.
Darui snickered. "Did you flirt with him when he was your teacher?"
Naruto thought about it. "Eh… maybe? Just a little, though."
Kakashi coughed in protest. "Just a little?" he repeated.
Naruto blushed red. "I tried to be subtle," he confessed quietly. "Um. Didn't want to get you in trouble."
Kakashi pulled him closer, and Darui smiled. "Well, you got him now, don't you? So you must have done something right."
Naruto blinked, then grinned. He did something right. He looked up, directed his grin at the man, keeping him upright, and declared, "I got you," informing Kakashi of his current situation.
The man tilted his head and sighed, an affectionate smile toying with the corners of his lips. "You do," he mumbled. He leaned closer, just a little bit, and whispered in his ear. "I got you, too."
Notes:
Naruto made a friend! And poor Kakashi got cock-blocked lol
Well, who knows, he might get a chance next chapter hahaha
Meanwhile, Darui is having a great time watching Kakashi, who is usually aloof and detached, running around catering to Naruto's every need. Naruto has Kakashi wrapped around his little finger, and he doesn't even know it.
So, what did you guys think? I appreciate your kind and lovely reviews so much! They really do make my day! So please let me know and I hope to see you again next time!
BTW turns out I wasn't getting email notifications for a while now, so I didn't some of the more recent reviews (awful of me, I know)
so to make up for that, I'll answer some questions I missed right here:
* TigrezzTail, chp 22: to Sakura, Kakashi must have seemed as stoic as usual. Naruto is so used to staring at him that he immediately noticed something was wrong. He totally panicked, thinking Naruto would make an impossible leap and overreacted lol IDK I like Kakashi to be a little pathetic sometimes haha and he forgave Sasuke because of how flustered and ashamed the boy was (after mentally admonishing him, that is). And idk I've had friends who got blackouts and hangovers every Thursday for months as teens and are still drinking to this day lol Kakashi wasn't bothered so much by his drinking as by the way he acted when drunk (and how he reacted in response).
* TigrezzTail, chp 24: some people have a really developed gay-dar lol and I imagine bullies would love to harass someone smaller than them (and esp as beautiful as Naruto) by questioning their sexuality. They haven't been stalking them. They just ran into them and decided to sexually harass a minor. I imagined them to be just random bullies who have never been in a real fight. Naruto has been in quite a few fights so he knows how to handle two opponents at once, and his determination and fury scared the shit outta them. I feel like Sasuke is Naruto's ride-or-die haha he just wants to see him happy in his own, standoffish way.
* Saras15, chp 24: that would've been a cool name! now I'm twice as sorry I missed your review. I eventually went with 'Buddy' which is the actual definition of the dog's role in Naruto's life, but now I'm considering changing it. It would've been fun to beat those assholes up, but Kakashi wants Naruto to distance himself from violence and he doesn't want the other students to know what he is capable of lest he'd scare them like he scared Naruto. But yep, I totally share the sentiment.
* Myfanfix, chp 24: sadly, no Hatake jutsu, though it is a cool idea lol Naruto just feels safer with Kakashi, and after years of living by himself, he years for the company of someone he feels safe with.
* TigrezzTail, chp 26: There's a lot going on that Naruto and Kakashi miss so I can't include it in their POV, and so it's open to anyone's interpretation as to why Hinata shared that tale with Naruto, but what I imagined is that Hinata was desperate for anything to talk about with Naruto, so being a nerd, she read about the beach, found something that she guessed (correctly) would interest Naruto, and shared it with him.
* Saras15, chp 26: Naruto doesn't value his life and doesn't know how to get Kakashi to stay. He figured swimming to the other side was something he was capable of and thus found a method within his reach to get the most important person in his life to stay. Obviously, he didn't stop to think about what would happen if he didn't make it... he is impulsive and silly like that lol
* Mel, chp 10: nope, I adore Lee too!
* TigrezzTail, chp 28: Kakashi with all of his dogs, kind of like a family picture haha
* TigrezzTail, chp 29: He's quicker and stronger as the wolf, so he figured he'd manage to surprise the other wolf and knock him out. He didn't know the other man was baiting him to transform and so he fell into his trap.
* Solitare1, chp 30: Naruto feels betrayed to his core and humiliated by what Kakashi did and how much he knew. He basically trusted the wolf with his darkest secrets and allowed himself to be vulnerable around him, which is not something he would've done with Kakahi - or anyone, for that matter - so that's why he's so furious. A part of him also craves validation from Kakashi, so he's also trying to evoke a confession from Kakashi about how important Naruto is to him. He is terrified he means nothing to Kakashi and that the two most important beings in his life - that turned out to be one and the safe - don't give a crap about him. So yep, he's being a little mean to Kakashi haha and definitely isn't thinking about this rationally.
* Solitare1, chp 32: Jiraiya is a free-spirited kinda guy. He knew something was brewing between Kakashi and Naruto and he waited for Naruto to call. Since he didn't, he figured Naruto didn't need him and didn't intervene. He also really trusts Kakashi so he knew Naruto was in good hands. And don't worry, he's angry with Kakashi, but he won't make any judgment until he has a proper grasp of everything that transpired.
* TigrezzTail, chp 33: Had Naruto asked Sakura, she would've told him about Tsunade, and he would've heard a different story (and would've gotten a totally different reaction lol), and yes, Kakashi reported the results of the fight (without mentioning Obito and the gruesome details, just how many men were there, weapons, who was involved, and so on) Jirayia is his boss, after all.
* TigrezzTail, chp 37: opps, my bad! I can't believe I reviewed it like 4 times and still missed it! Will fix it immediately! Thank you!
* TigrezzTail, chp 40: I bet it's great to be deployed in Hawaii! Like if you had to choose between Afghanistan, Iraq, or Hawaii, I mean... and it really was gorgeous! Really expensive, but the views were paradise.
* TigrezzTail, chp 41: yeah, it's awful. I don't know why so many people turn to hate instead of solidarity and acceptance. You'd think its a thing of the past, now. I really wish it were. Hate has never solved anything; it only destroys us as a society and as individuals.
