Marinette;now that we've finally reached this part of the story there's one important thing someone needs to do. Bruce apologize
The room quickly became cold as Bruce did a double take at Marinette who stopped smiling and looked genuinely angry*
Bruce:e...excuse you?
Marinette:you heard me quite clear. My husband saved a mother and her unborn child from a lunatic and all you did was to scream and disown him. So apologize for doing that
Bruce: I'll do nothing of the sort. I've made my stance quite clear with him, he broke a rule he must be punished
Marinette:I see
Marinette got up and opened the door, everyone eyes widen at what she was doing and Jason was falling in love all over again*
Tim"she wouldn't..."

Bruce:you're kidding
Marinette:nope, either you apologize to my husband and admit that YOU were in the wrong not him or you can leave right now and be banned from seeing you're grandchildren you're choice. What's more important your code or you're family?

Marinette started walking to Bruce, she grabbed his tie and pulled him close to her so there were eye to eye and couldn't look somewhere else. The Wayne family were surprised at her boldness*
Jason"god what did I do to ever get this lucky?"
Marinette:since this isn't Gotham this isn't your home everything here is under my name and paid for by my money so you have no say in anything now what's it gonna be? Pride or family?
Bruce and Marinette glared at each other as the rest of the Wayne family looked with baited breathes*
Bruce:fine, you win move back a little
Marinette huffed and gave Bruce his space, Bruce got up dusting himself off and to a surprise to no one he just walked away. Selina sighed and got up giving Marinette a smile*
Selina:I'll talk with the big baby don't worry, please continue the story
Marinette:fine, but tell him he's not welcome in this house without an apology
Selina nodded and walked out to catch up with Bruce, Marinette sat down next to Jason smiling like nothing happened*

Barbara:so, we're just gonna ignore that?
Marinette waved her hand dismissively enjoying feeling Jason's hand wrap there way around her waist*

Marinette blushed and groaned at the analogy, Jason just looked at dick with an unamused expression*
Jason:you proud of yourself? That's the same joke Roy still uses, can't believe you fell down to his level

Jason slowly opened his eyes feeling a as if he was hungover, he felt a pair of arms around him rubbing his back*
Marinette:oh good you're awake, you've been asleep for a while

Jason mumbled softly as he rubbed his face deeper into the warmth of Marinette's body. Marinette blushed slightly since his head was in-between her chest*
Marinette:oh as well as i can be given I'm still not over the jetlag
Jason:MH...jetlag Is the worse I hate...wait jetlag... PIXIE?!!
Jason screamed in a jump and fell to the floor with a groan, he ignored it and quickly got up looking at a annoyed Marinette*
Jason: Marinette, what are you doing here?! It's Gotham it's far too dangerous for you to be here!
Marinette:I know it's dangerous here that's why I came
Marinette got up and sat Jason down on the bed, Jason was about to say something but the glare Marinette was giving him made him shut up. Marinette started pacing around the room*
Marinette:I haven't heard from you in weeks, you haven't called me back or texted me back I thought something happened to you! Do you have any idea how worried I was?! How much stress you put me under you jackass?!
Marinette said extremely angry, she was mixing French with English and saying things that would make a sailor blush. Jason just felt guilty for making his wife feel this stress*
Marinette: honestly, Clearly I was right with the whole green eyes thing
Jason flinched and started looking at Marinette all over terrified that he hurt her in some way*
Jason:did I hurt you?
Marinette:nope, you did give Roy a black eye and break that lovely woman Kori's nose. You've been asleep for a few days, and every time you would wake up, you would act like 2005 king Kong did when he found a woman and protected me from anything
Jason took a breath of relief as he rested his head on the bed with him sitting down on the floor. Marinette scratched his head with a small smile*
Marinette:I believe you owe me a big explanation
Jason:I know, I want to truly I do but...I can't at least not everything...
Marinette:are you cheating on me?
Jason snorted, he grabbed Marinette's hands and sat her back down, she leaned her head on his shoulder*
Jason: Marinette you're about the only person that actually likes having me around
Marinette:funny that didn't sound like a no, maybe i should get Kagami over here so yo can confess
Jason snorted again as Marinette scooted closer to Jason she grabbed his chin and slowly made him look at her*
Marinette:Jayjay it's ok to have secrets I have my fair share of them, just tell me what you can. What you can't just... embellish the story so to speak
Jason sighed looking scared, Marinette god bless her just smiled patiently for him*
Jason:it...it was years ago I was like 15 when it happened... I was on my way home when I heard a woman screaming for help, so I went there to help since the batfamily was nowhere to be seen. I stopped These 2 guys from attacking this woman only to be knocked out by set woman who was really Harley queen. When I came too I saw the butt ugly face of the joker, he wanted to use me as a gambling chip but my father refused to pay a dime for me since he believed the batfamily would come and save me and all i had to do was "hold on"
Marinette grabbed Jason's hands to give him support, he smiled softly at her as he continued*
Jason:the...the joker didn't like that answer so he took this crowbar and started beating me with it over and over again until I was broken with a collapsed lung and a cracked skull, once he was satisfied he left me there but I wasn't alone. He left me there with a bomb powerful enough to destroy the whole warehouse. I crawled to the door trying to escape, I manage to make it on pure will alone but it was lock
Jason gave out a bitter chuckle at the memory, he can still see them bills as clear as day*
Jason:then...the bomb exploded killing me...I...I know it's crazy when I say it since I'm right here
Marinette:i believe you don't worry
Jason looked at Marinette like she grew a second head, Marinette just shrugged*
Marinette:like I said I have a few secrets of my own Jayjay. And I fortunately know a little magic, it's a talent that I've always have possessed. And darling you stink of death magic, have the moment we've met
Jason:with how crazy my life is I'm not even gonna question it. So yeah I died, I was dead for 5 years until i suddenly woke up inside this green water I swam out and later learned it was called the Lazarus pit that green lake brought me back to life but...
Marinette:it came with some side effects death magic always comes with a cost
Jason nodded with a sigh as he looked at the ground, thinking of when he came back to Gotham, how in his anger he harmed Tim, it was an accident but it still ate him up a bit*
Jason:yeah, it can take over when I get angry, when it takes over I black out and all I care is about hurting people it doesn't matter who
Marinette:well not everybody, no matter how many times you woke up you never hurt me, the opposite you protected me
A smile appeared on Jason's face as he looked at Marinette's ever growing belly*
Jason:I did huh, thank God...
Marinette:was that why you were ghosting me? You were scared that you would hurt me or our child when the pit would take over?
Jason:...yes Marinette I am so so sorry I...
Jason winced when Marinette slapped him with her ring hand, the jewel cut Jason's cheek making it bleed a little*
Jason: alright fair I deserve that...
Marinette:yes, yes you do. Jason you are my husband I'm with you in sickness and in health, like it or not I'm not leaving so don't you ever do anything this stupid or next time I'll take you're family Jewels am I understood?
Jason:you still want to be with me?
Jason asked shocked, Marinette rolled her eyes, she pulled Jason to the bed and kissed him lovingly. After a long while she released the kiss and gave him a coy smile*
