…
Don't Talk Back to Your Superior Officer
Day 5
Camp
Men: Cato, Joe, Killua, Kirito, Kyon, Lucian, Mayuri, Prussia, Spike
Women: Alice, Ami, Haruhi, Jasmine, Karen, Konata, Michiru, Mine, Misty
Some of the Men come back after the Tribal Council angry, while the Women are quite amused with the situation.
"Ooh, looks like a complete split down the middle!" Karen says. "This is a perfect time to cause chaos! I'm playing against everyone here, to an extent. I have tried to screw over my own tribe as much as possible, but now's a chance to screw over the other tribe as well. It's simply diabolical!"
Cato addresses his own tribe with quite a fury.
"Listen, #$*%^&bags," he says. "I don't care why the $#%* you thought it was a good idea to mess with me tonight. I don't give a flying #$*% why you did this. All I can say is, if you voted against my wishes, you will pay."
"Wow, someone's pissed off," Prussia says.
"You'll be my first victim," Cato says. "Don't talk back to your superior officer."
"Aye-aye, captain," Kirito says sarcastically.
"Hey, I'm the Captain around here!" Mayuri complains. "I'm Captain of Squad 12 of the Soul Society!"
"Just shut up, you %*^$," Lucian says.
"Killua and his stupid extra vote screwed up everything at this Tribal Council," Cato says. "Once he pulled it out, there was nothing I could do. But there *is* something I can do about his newly-found good fortune. I'm going to burn this place to the ground – literally."
That morning, Cato gets up early, seeing Killua tending the fire.
"You always up this early?" Cato asks.
"Yep," Killua replies. "I'm an early bird."
"Huh," Cato says.
"Would you like a truce?" Killua says. "I know you're pissed off at me for pulling out that extra vote. Maybe I can smooth things out with you."
"And how so?" Cato asks. "Your alliance is now in the majority. I'm not going to sit here begging you to keep me around."
"Hey, I'm trying to help here," Killua says. "If we can come to a reasonable agreement that ends up helping out the two of us, I'm here for it all day."
"We'll see," Cato says.
"Killua thinks I'm going to get down on my hands and knees and beg him to keep me in this game," Cato says. "Rather, I have a different plan, which I must discuss with the LUCK Alliance."
"I can't believe Cato doesn't want to try to smooth things over," Killua says. "Especially since I want to keep him around in order to win more challenges. I'm not aiming for him as a target. I think it would be stupid to go after him at this point, because we need to win as many times as possible."
Later that morning, with most of the tribe awake, Cato pulls Lucian and Karen aside for a talk.
"Let's get to it quick," Cato says. "Lucian and I are now on the chopping block. Our alliance lost, and now Killua and pals can Pagong us off one by one."
"We are going to need to use Fire Tokens and use them correctly," Lucian adds. "Any wrong moves, and we're screwed."
Karen laughs. "I don't think either of you two have anything to worry about."
"Huh?" Cato says.
"Look at you two, you're the two biggest reasons your tribe can win challenges," Karen says. "Cato is the strongest, Lucian is the smartest. Your tribe needs you two for strength challenges as well as puzzles. Even Killua isn't stupid enough to vote out either of you."
Cato shakes his head. "I still don't feel safe about this."
"Well, how about I do this?" Karen says. "I'll just screw over my tribe at the next reward challenge, and you'll get the Fire Tokens necessary to make a BIG MOVE in this game."
"You'd better pull this one off right this time," Cato says.
"Oh, trust me, there's no one more accustomed to losing than those of us in the Elite Four!" Karen replies.
"I resemble that remark!" Lucian replies.
"Karen says she's going to try to screw her tribe over at this next challenge, but I don't quite trust her," Cato says. "I'm going to try to win as hard as I can, because it's those Tokens that can get us back in the game."
"I'm playing my own game here," Karen says. "I have no loyalty to anybody. Even those I my own alliance I'll screw over if I have to. But for now, I'm going to try to ruin things for the Women."
Meanwhile, Killua is trying to shore things up with Kyon and Spike.
"We want you as part of our alliance," Killua says. "It's time to drop your grudges against the Women and join us, so we can work with them."
"Sorry," Spike says. "Can't do it."
He walks away with his hands in his pockets.
"There are three things I really hate," Spike says. "Kids, animals, and women with attitudes. And that's exactly who Killua wants me to get in bed with."
"I'm willing to listen," Kyon says.
"Okay," Joe says. "If you join us, we're up 6-3. And if we've got enough votes to split between two of them, we are safe from an idol."
"But what if one of them buys an extra vote?" Kirito says. "That would mess us up in a 3-3-3 vote."
"The goal is to figure that out before the vote," Killua says. "If they've got an idol, we flush it out. If they've got an extra vote, we figure that out too."
"Makes sense," Prussia says.
"Okay, as long as you're not working with Haruhi," Kyon says.
"Oh, trust me, we aren't," Killua states.
"Haruhi is here to make my life miserable, and I want to see her go home as soon as possible," Kyon says. "I'm willing to work with Killua and his alliance if it's necessary. I'm just not sure this is going to work against an incredibly crafty Cato."
Ami and Michiru are interested in how this change in the Men's game will affect them.
"We've got to win as many challenges as possible, right?" Ami says.
"Yes, that's correct," Michiru says.
"Wouldn't the best way of doing that be to get rid of their biggest physical threats?" Ami says.
"Yes," Michiru says.
"So… we need to convince the Men to vote out Cato," Ami says.
"But that's not going to be easy," Michiru says. "It doesn't matter how much we butter up Killua, Joe, and Kirito. They're too smart. They're not going to get rid of Cato until much further along in this game. It's like Cato has his own immunity idol."
"We've got to get them to crack," Ami says. "I get the feeling we can get what we want out of them if we offer them more Fire Tokens."
"But don't we have to pay them back?" Michiru asks. "We owe them already. Whatever we win, *if* we win, we've got to give back to Killua's alliance to be fair."
"We'll just give them over with some strings attached," Ami says. "This can't be a kumbaya between our two tribes."
"Killua wants back our Fire Tokens with interest," Ami says. "Instead, he's going to get back his Fire Tokens with strings attached. We are going to direct his votes toward the big threat – Cato. He's too dangerous to remain in this game. And everyone knows it."
"Ami is making the same mistakes she made when I played with her in Hikawa Shrine," Michiru says. "She is trying to direct and control everything in every way possible. That only causes people to get angry with you. My partner Haruka was angered by her, not just because of her language and behavior, but also because of her need to be a control freak. I'm trying to be as friendly as I can with her, but at some point, I'm afraid she's going to turn on me."
As they are talking, Haruhi and Konata come running up the beach toward camp.
"What the hell is going on out here?" Kirito wonders.
"There's a big storm approaching!" Haruhi shouts.
"Yeah, we were down there on the other side of the beach, and we saw it coming!" Konata adds.
"Crap," Joe says. "Let's get in the shelter now!"
The players all rush into the shelter, as the lightning flashes and the thunder roars. The Women all huddle together, trying to keep warm as the rain pours down.
"This is terrible," Ami says. "Not only are we suffering inside this shelter, but there's no way to strategize with everyone packed in like sardines."
"You know, you really should have built a bigger shelter," Alice tells Cato.
"Shut the *$#% up!" Cato replies. "I wouldn't have had to build it if not for you guys."
"Oh, so you wanted us to just roll over and lose?" Mine says. "Fat chance of that happening."
"You Women are so entitled!" Lucian says. "You think cause you win a couple challenges, that you own this place. Well, you don't!"
"Come on, everybody, let's try to calm down," Misty says. "We can't be at each other's throats right now."
Cato simply shakes his head.
"These Women are about to find out just how cruel I am," he says. "I am going to make their lives absolutely miserable, and there will be nothing they can do about it. This is going to get ugly."
"Why doesn't someone buy a tarp?" Joe asks.
"Because most of the Women don't have enough Tokens for it," Ami replies. "Alice and Mine do, but they don't seem to be budging."
"Hey, I hate the rain too!" Alice replies. "But I need my Tokens for later in the game."
"And we're not wasting ours, either," Spike says. "None of us Women Haters will. There are bigger fish to fry in this game."
"How about you, Killua?" Joe asks. "Do you have the Tokens to buy one?"
"I have one," Killua says. "Prussia has one, too. But we need five."
"Mayuri, would you be willing to give us a Token?" Joe asks.
"Nonsense!" Mayuri exclaims. "Besides, I want to do some experimenting with the rain."
Joe sighs.
"It looks like we're not going to get a tarp, because everyone here is too selfish or too obstinate to give up their Tokens for the betterment of everyone else," Joe says. "I'm willing to give up my two Tokens, but no one else is,"
After a couple of hours of nonstop rain, the precipitation stops, just in time for the players to go to the reward challenge.
"Everyone's tempers are flaring because of the bad conditions," Misty says. "We've got to calm down and think about things more. Do we really want to feud like this? Or can we find a way to work together in order to get through this easier?"
Reward Challenge
"Come on in, guys!"
The two tribes stomp into the immunity challenge area, their shoes full of mud, with most of them still soaking wet from the storm.
"You guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?"
"As ready as we ever will be," Mine sighs.
"First off, how have things been going out there with the rain?" Jet asks.
"You mean the super-big storm?" Haruhi asks. "We've been getting soaked!"
"So, your tribe needs a tarp?" Jet asks.
"Yes, and badly," Joe says.
"Well, how about this?"
Jet reveals a giant tarp. Most of the players start celebrating.
"This is what you want, right?" Jet asks.
"Absolutely!" Misty exclaims.
"Well, you'll have to earn it," Jet says.
"But that doesn't make much sense," Kyon says. "If we win it, the Women still get comfort from it. And vice versa. Doesn't sound like a great reward."
Jet chuckles. "Well, how about this? For this challenge, you will be competing against each other – and the clock."
Everyone looks surprised. "How?" Konata asks.
"For today's challenge, you will dig up a giant ball out of a sand pit. You will then roll that very heavy ball to retrieve two keys. Afterward, you will push the ball over to a wall, which you must then scale to reach the platform with the boxes of puzzle pieces. Finally, you will use the two keys to open up a box of puzzle pieces. First tribe to finish their puzzle wins reward. Wanna know what you're playing for?"
"Sort of," Mine says. "You kind of gave it away already."
"Wrong-o!" Jet replies. "Each member of the winning tribe receives one Fire Token. Losers, nothing. As for the tarp, the only way you can earn it is by beating the clock. I have a time limit of half an hour. If both tribes finish the challenge within half an hour, then you will get this giant tarp to share on your shelter."
Most of the players start cheering. Karen looks over at Cato and winks. Cato then rubs Lucian's shoulder and whispers.
"It's on," he says.
Lucian nods silently. Meanwhile, Haruhi and Konata are running around Jet in sheer joy. Mayuri is checking the sand, trying to see how deep his tribe will have to dig.
Spike laughs. "Wasted energy, Captain."
"You might come to wish you hadn't expended it in such a futile effort," Kyon says. "We're going to have to push through this ball with brute force."
"But wouldn't a scientific way be better?" Mayuri asks.
"No," Spike says.
"I'll give you all a moment to strategize, then we'll get started," Jet states.
The players line up at the start, ready to go.
"For reward! Survivors ready? Go!"
Both tribes rush out to their giant balls, and they try digging them out. After some trouble, Killua calls for Cato.
"Come on, let's try to push this thing out," Killua says. "You and I are the strongest ones here."
Cato shakes his head. "No, we'd better keep digging," he replies.
Killua gives Cato a suspicious look, then goes back to digging. Meanwhile, the Women are having a horrible time trying to make any progress. Konata has fallen into the hole in the sand with the ball itself. Haruhi tries pulling Konata out, while the others continue digging.
"Remember: you're not just racing against each other!" Jet says. "You're racing against the clock!"
The Men finally get their ball out of the sand, and they begin pushing it together.
"This ball is not easy to push!"
The Women get their ball out as well, and they start to push. As they do, Killua climbs on top of the ball to retrieve one of the keys.
"Zoldyck gets his first key! Got to get both of those keys!"
Misty hops on top of her tribe's ball to get the first key. The Men push their ball over to the next key, and Killua goes up to get it.
"You've expended five minutes so far!" Jet shouts. "Only 25 more to earn the tarp!"
The Women slowly push their ball over to the second key, while the Men push their ball over to the wall.
"Now, got to get all your tribe's members up that ball and onto the platform!"
Cato climbs up first, but he doesn't offer to help anyone else up. Instead, Killua starts dragging people up the ball. He first gets Joe and Kirito, before moving on to Kyon and Mayuri.
"Lucian, you're next!" Killua shouts.
"No, I'll go last!" Lucian yells back.
"Whatevs," Killua says. "Come on, Spike!"
Killua gets Spike up, then tries to get Prussia up. Prussia proves completely inept in climbing, and he keeps falling down.
"Here, I'll get him," Killua says, dropping down off the ball. "Lucian, you get up, and then pull me up with Prussia."
"Okay, I guess," Lucian says.
Lucian slowly climbs up the ball, taking his time as he does.
"Time is of the essence!" Jet shouts to Lucian.
"Shut up!" Lucian shoots back.
"Yeah, we're a family!" Cato shouts. "We know what we're doing!"
Killua pulls Prussia up, as the Women have gotten their second key and have pushed their ball over to the wall. Mine begins climbing up, as Prussia begins slipping away from Killua.
"Come on, get on my back!" Killua tells Prussia, as he watches Alice get up. Killua gives Prussia a piggyback ride into the arms of Lucian.
"Zoldyck literally carrying his 'family' on his back!" Jet shouts.
Misty helps Jasmine get up, and Michiru and Ami follow after them. Haruhi skillfully climbs up while holding Konata's hand, and she is able to get the clumsy Konata up as well.
"Come on, Karen!" Misty yells. "Get up here!"
"15 minutes gone!" Jet shouts. "Only 15 to go!"
Karen reluctantly grabs Misty's hand and gets up onto the platform. The Men have unlocked the locks to the puzzle pieces, and they have gotten the pieces out to the puzzle table. The Women then start unlocking their box of puzzle pieces.
"It's Lucian and Kirito on the puzzle for the Men, and it looks like it'll be Ami and Karen on the puzzle for the Women! Everyone making good time so far, just about 12 minutes left!"
As Kirito and Ami try logically to put the pieces in the right spots, both Lucian and Karen try mixing the pieces up into wrong places and messing with their organized way of doing the puzzle.
"Come on!" Kirito says to Lucian. "I know what I'm doing here!"
"Me too!" Ami says. "Stop it!"
"We're down to eight minutes left!"
Lucian looks over at Karen, and Karen gives him the slightest of nods.
"Man, I suck at puzzles!" Lucian says in the fakest of voices. "Someone else take over for me!"
Joe steps up next to Kirito to work on the puzzle. With both of them working on the puzzle with the full intention of winning, they start to solve it pretty quickly. Ami is still having trouble, as Karen continues to shuffle up Ami's pieces.
"Quit it!" Ami shouts. "Michiru, get over here. Replace Karen!"
Karen throws her hands up, as Michiru scurries over to help Ami. Just as she does, Joe slams in the final piece of the puzzle.
"Men win reward! But we've still got three minutes left! Will it be enough for the Women to finish to win the tarp?"
Most of the Men celebrate, while Michiru and Ami make quick work of the puzzle. They start slamming in pieces, while the others sit on pins and needles, waiting for Jet's word.
"Michiru slams in the last piece, and that's it!" Jet exclaims. "With one minute left, the Women solve their puzzle! They win a tarp!"
Ami high-fives Michiru, while the other Women begin to celebrate as well.
"Congratulations to both tribes," Jet says.
He walks by each of the Men and hands them all one Fire Token each.
"Your giant tarp will be waiting for you back at camp," Jet says. "You can head on out."
Both tribes walk out of the immunity challenge area, with nearly everyone feeling positive about the result. Except, of course, Karen.
"I did everything I could to screw my tribe," Karen says. "I got them to lose, but they still got that tarp. Lucian and Cato tried their best as well. As it turns out, it's a lot harder to throw a challenge than you think."
Camp
Men: Cato, Joe, Killua, Kirito, Kyon, Lucian, Mayuri, Prussia, Spike
Women: Alice, Ami, Haruhi, Jasmine, Karen, Konata, Michiru, Mine, Misty
The players arrive back at camp to find a giant tarp on top of their shelter. Most of them start cheering, and Haruhi and Konata scurry over to be the first ones in the shelter.
"This is awesome!" Haruhi exclaims.
"Ooh, I'm picking my spot right now!" Konata says.
Cato, Lucian, and Karen simply shake their heads. As the others head to the shelter, they head on out into the jungle.
"We've been foiled," Lucian says.
"It's your fault!" Cato says. "You didn't do good enough a job at screwing up the puzzle."
"Yeah, and you wanted your tribe to win too soon, so you gave up on screwing things up too early!" Karen says.
"Whatever," Lucian says. "Man, I'd burn that tarp to the ground if I could."
Cato looks over at Karen, then back over to Lucian.
"Don't tell me…" Lucian begins to say.
"Yeah, that's right," Cato says. "We are burning everything to the ground tonight."
"Everything?"
"Everything."
"Well, what if it rains?"
"It doesn't look likely to rain for a while yet," Karen says. "If we pull this off in time, we can get the tarp lit on fire and destroyed before the rain comes back in."
"But how do we do it?"
"We have a five-hour window to work with," Cato says. "The time between people going to bed and Killua waking up like the early bird he is."
"So, we get one stick lit with fire, and touch the very edge of the tarp with it," Karen says. "It catches the tarp on fire, and soon everything is gone."
"The trick is making it so that no one knows that we did it," Cato says. "The easiest way to pull that off is by having you do it."
"Me?" Lucian says.
"Yeah, you. No one will expect you to do something like that, because you're weak and spineless."
"I'm an easy target, so is Cato," Karen adds. "If you do it, people are going to laugh. 'Why in the world would Lucian do such a thing? It must have been an accident.'"
Lucian grimaces and shakes his head. "Fine, then, I'll do it. But I want a Fire Token for it."
"Here," Cato says with a bit of surprise in his voice, flipping a Token over to Lucian.
"Little did Lucian know that I was actually planning on giving him all my Tokens if it meant he'd do this for us," Cato says. "Yeah, I'm playing him, just as I'm playing Karen. This is all an elaborate scheme to get our three to become the Final Three."
"I don't understand why Cato's making me do this, but I'm going in," Lucian says. "And if it means my spot in the game, so be it, but once I'm gone, the two of them are soon to follow."
"Lucian is the perfect pawn in my scheme," Karen says. "He's just a lowly pawn, while Cato is the king, and I'm the queen. In chess, the queen has the most power, and the king is weak and helpless. Maybe if Lucian plays well enough, he can promote to a rook. But he's not becoming a second queen."
Meanwhile, the other players are talking strategy. Ami, Michiru, Misty, and Jasmine gather together.
"Okay, we've got this idol," Ami says, holding out Kon. "This is our lifeline for the next vote."
"But how will we know when to use it?" Michiru asks. "And who to use it on?"
"We're going to direct all the votes to one of us," Ami continues.
"And which one?" Misty asks.
"Why, you."
"Me? No way!" Misty says.
"Remember, we'll use the idol on you," Ami says. "You're going to be just fine."
"No, that's stupid!" Misty says.
"Misty, try to calm down," Jasmine says.
"Hear Ami out," Michiru says. "Whoever gets the votes gets the idol. If one of us goes home, we're sunk, whether it's you, me, Ami, or Jasmine. We have to get this right."
"Exactly," Ami says. "We are playing in a very unique situation. They presumably have five, but I believe Haruhi and Konata are possible swing votes. But even if it's 5-4, that's not enough to split votes. That's only enough to pick one of us – and use the idol properly."
"I understand, but why me?"
"Of the four of us, you are the most outspoken one," Michiru says. "You'd do a great job at stirring up trouble."
"I get it," Jasmine says. "Misty gets Alice and Mine mad at her, then they throw their votes on her."
"I don't know, I'm really not that into it," Misty says. "I think a better strategy would be to try to swing Konata and Haruhi."
"If you don't do it right, we're all doomed," Ami says. "Remember that."
"I don't like how Ami is using me as a pawn in her scheme, making me only good for someone to direct votes on," Misty says. "How can I be sure that she'll use the idol on me? Would she give me possession of the idol? Would Alice and Mine even vote for me? This is a real gamble."
"I really hope Misty buys into our plan," Michiru says. "Ami has spent a long time calculating and thinking out this plan. She knows what she is doing. Misty just needs to trust her, because if Ami's wrong, we're all on our way out."
"I've got this thing figured out," Ami says. "But I have to admit, I may not even give the idol to Misty. I may hang on to it myself. With no merge, it may be advantageous to let Misty go and hold on the idol to make it longer. These alliances aren't going to last forever. At some point, I may be voting with Alice and Mine."
Alice and Mine talk a little about their situation.
"They know that we're with Haruhi and Konata, and also Karen," Mine says. "Those four."
She points over to Ami, Michiru, Misty, and Jasmine on the beach.
"That's okay," Alice replies. "It doesn't matter what they know. What matters is what we do. And in this situation, we have the ammo to take one of them out."
"Are you sure?" Mine says. "Because you never know which way Karen is going to swing. And it's possible that Konata and Haruhi turn on us. It's not a good situation."
"Oh, would you quit worrying?" Alice says. "Stop being such an eternal pessimist."
"Mine is acting like we don't have the numbers, when in fact we do have the numbers," Alice says. "It's driving me crazy. But I am obligated to help her out because of how I embarrassed her in Survivor: Best Girl. I want to make up for it. So, I'm sticking with her."
"I don't know what Alice is thinking, but we're really just an alliance of two in a nine-player tribe," Mine says. "We might – might – have Karen. And we might – might – have Haruhi and Konata. But all it takes is one of those to flip, and you know the other alliance is coming after me."
Killua, Joe, and Kirito talk about where they're at in the game.
"We have the numbers, 5-4," Kirito says. "But that's always dangerous, because all it takes is for one to flip."
"I know," Killua says. "That's why we've got to keep a close eye on Prussia and Mayuri. They could always flip at any moment."
"But how do we stop them from flipping?" Joe asks.
"Here's a way," Killua says. "Joe, you keep an eye on Prussia, and I'll keep track of Mayuri. We won't be around them all the time, but we'll keep track on whether they start talking to players from the other alliance. Kirito, you try to see what you can do with Spike and Kyon. I think one of them could flip."
"Gotcha," Kirito says.
"Okay," Joe says.
"The goal is to expand our alliance," Killua says. "That means getting Spike or Kyon on board. But if we can't, we've got to make sure that our allies don't jump sides. We're only one vote from being in the minority again."
But Spike and Kyon prove a tough couple to crack.
"Come on, let's work together," Kirito says. "You join our alliance, then you're safe for a while."
"How long?" Spike asks. "Because from what I can tell, your alliance will just dispose of us as necessary."
"Yeah, I'm not really feeling jumping sides," Kyon says. "We have other ways of getting through this game."
"Like what?" Kirito asks.
"The Fire Tokens can play a big role," Kyon answers.
"Yeah, just buzz off," Spike says. "I'm not interested in playing with people who are caught up with the Women."
Kirito walks away disappointed.
"Spike and Kyon don't look like they're jumping sides anytime soon," Kirito says. "We are going to have to hope our entire alliance stays strong, or we won't have the numbers."
"I have no need for Kirito," Spike says. "I think I'm doing just fine in this game right now, and we'll see if he even outlasts me out here."
As the sun goes down, Lucian begins getting antsy about the plan.
"Wait for my signal," Cato whispers to him. "You'll be okay if you just do as I say."
"I'm not sure," Lucian replies. "If I get caught, I'm out."
"No, you're not," Cato says. "I will personally protect you in the vote. Don't worry."
"It just isn't…"
"No, it is a fine plan. Just trust me."
Lucian sighs. "Okay, whatever."
"If I end up blowing my fourth shot out here all because I got caught up in obeying someone else's orders again, then I'm going to be furious with myself when I come back home," Lucian says. "This is the way I am, always roped up in someone else's scheme."
So, as night falls, the players start filing into the shelter. Cato keeps a close eye on who has entered.
"15… 16… 17…" he whispers.
He sees Killua and Alice coming in from near the fire, both chuckling with each other.
"Oh come on, you're so silly!" Alice says.
"No, no, you are!" Killua says.
Cato watches as they come into the shelter, and he recounts all the people in his head.
"18… 19… who's missing?" he says. "It's got to be Haruhi or Konata."
But he checks over on the other side and sees Haruhi and Konata telling jokes to each other as they lie there.
"Who the hell is it?"
He gets up from his spot in the shelter, much to the surprise of everyone else. Looking around, he can't find anyone. He goes down to the beach, and finally he finds the missing person.
"Prussia!"
"Oh, hello!" Prussia says. "Are you having as awesome a night as me?"
"No," Cato replies sternly. "What the hell are you doing down here?"
"Taking in the sights!" Prussia exclaims. "It's a beautiful sight down here!"
"Yeah, sure it is," Cato says. "Come on."
He grabs Prussia by the arm and starts pulling him up to the shelter.
"Wait, why?" Prussia says. "I like it just fine down here!"
"You're going to get some much-needed rest!" Cato replies.
Cato brings Prussia over to the shelter, where he gets a warm welcome.
"There you are!" Joe says. "I haven't seen you in so long!"
"Oh, I was just talking with my good friend Cato!" Prussia replies.
Cato shakes his head. "We're not friends."
"You wound me, mon capitaine," Prussia replies.
Cato facepalms.
"Trying to sabotage my tribe is a lot harder than I thought," he says. "If I had known it'd be this hard, I would have given up a long time ago."
Finally, once the tribe has completely gone to sleep, Cato taps Lucian on the shoulder. Lucian awakens suddenly.
"What?" he says.
"Shhh!" Cato whispers. "It's time for you to do your magic."
"Roger," Lucian mumbles softly.
He quietly gets up, tiptoeing around the others near him. He looks to make sure no one is watching him, then he sneaks on down over to the fire. Upon arriving there, he picks up a piece of wood and lets it get fire. He then tiptoes quickly back over to the camp and sets the burning piece of wood at the edge of the tarp.
"Perfect," Cato whispers to him.
Lucian quickly gets back to his sleeping spot, when the tarp catches fire. It starts burning quickly, and everyone is startled.
"The tarp's on fire!" Kirito shouts.
Seconds later… utter chaos.
