Day 10
Mayhem Like Me
Camp
Men: Joe, Killua, Kirito, Kyon, Lucian, Mayuri, Prussia, Spike
Women: Alice, Ami, Haruhi, Jasmine, Konata, Michiru, Mine, Misty
As usual, Killua is up before everyone else. This time, he goes over to the well to collect more water, when he notices something in the treemail.
"What the-?"
He pulls out three small basketballs, along with 2 roses.
"Is this a clue to what today's challenge is going to be?" he says. "But why so little? Why roses? And why three balls? I've got to get to the bottom of this."
Killua tiptoes back to the shelter, where he whispers in Alice's ear.
"Albino!" he calls.
Alice wakes up, startled. She is about to yell at Killua when Killua presses his finger to her lips. He then motions for her to follow him.
"Wait till you get a load of this," he says as he leads Alice over to treemail.
"I hope it was worth getting me up for," Alice sighs.
As they reach the treemail, Killua rushes ahead and pulls out one of the basketballs.
"So we're going to be playing basketball today?" Alice says. "All right."
"There's more," Killua says.
He pulls out the other two basketballs, and then hands Alice the two roses.
"Aw, are these for me? How sweet!"
Killua rolls his eyes. "Alice, these are a clue to something, and we need to figure out what."
Alice puts a finger to her chin. "Hmmm…" she says. "The three basketballs are confusing by themselves. Do they mean that we'll be playing something like the Schmergen Brawl again? Do they mean that we will be playing basketball with three balls at once? I can't figure it out."
"And what of the roses?" Killua asks.
"I don't know," Alice says. "We're not playing Bachelor here."
A lightbulb goes on over Killua's head. "I got it!" he exclaims.
"Got what?" Alice wonders.
"The purpose of the roses," Killua says. "They must have something to do with the Rose Bowl of American football. What challenge is a mix between basketball and American football?"
"Why, of course, Schmergen Brawl!" Alice replies.
"That's right!" Killua says. "We are going back into the arena."
"Awesome analysis, Albino!" Alice exclaims, slapping a high five with Killua.
"Now, the only question is, do we leave these roses and balls here, or do we hide them?"
"Eh, just let others find them," Alice says. "It can't hurt or help our game any."
"Okay," Killua says. He puts the basketballs and roses back where he found them.
"Come on, let's eat!" Alice says. "I'll make you a little rice."
"I have no idea why we're playing Schmergen Brawl for a second time," Killua says. "Perhaps the producers have run out of challenges. But if we are, I'm ready for whatever it takes to help my tribe come out on top."
"We won't have Karen trying to screw us this time in the Schmergen Brawl," Alice says. "We're going to win this challenge and regain the majority!"
Later in the morning, Ami notices the basketballs and roses when going out to get some water from the well. She calls for Michiru, Misty, and Jasmine, and they rush over to her to find the items.
"Basketballs?" Jasmine asks.
"And roses," Michiru says. "You know, Tuxedo Mask once hosted this show, and he was into roses."
"Well, we know what we're going to be playing for our challenge," Ami says. "I'm not sure about the roses, though."
"Let's go practice!" Misty suggests. "We can go try shooting these balls into targets of our making."
"Sounds good," Ami says.
"Basketballs and roses," Ami says. "I heard there were a couple of professional basketball players with the last name of Rose. Could that be what is meant by the roses?"
"Misty had us practice today with the basketballs," Michiru says. "I'm not very good at it, but I'm getting better. I'm not too tall, though, which doesn't help me in playing basketball."
"The Men were too lazy to get up from their spots in the shelter, except for that hard-worker Killua," Misty says. "So, we practiced for a couple hours or so. We'd make a makeshift basket out of sticks and palm fronds, then take our time trying to make the shots. I think we are in a great position going into this challenge."
Most of the Men are indeed lounging around. Only Joe and Killua are doing anything around camp.
"Go get us some more water," Killua tells Joe. "Alice wants to try to cook something."
"Aye-aye, captain!" Joe responds.
Joe walks out to get the water, when he sees the four Women tossing around basketballs.
"What's going on?" he asks.
"Oh, nothing much," Misty says. "Just practicing our hoops skills!"
"Hoops skills?" Joe says. "What are those, basketballs?"
"Yep, we got them in treemail today."
"Interesting," Joe says. He then sees the two roses. "Why do you have roses?"
"They came with treemail as well," Ami says. "We can't figure out their purpose."
"I'll bring them back to camp and see if anyone can figure them out," Joe says.
He snatches the two roses, then takes his water and goes back to camp.
"I think those Women are hiding something from me," Joe says. "Am I supposed to believe that these roses are just a random prop? I'm guessing the Women are lying to me, so I'm going to keep an eye on them."
Joe shows the roses to the other Men, but none of them know what their purpose is.
"Perhaps we will be picking flowers at our next challenge," Prussia says.
"Or maybe doing a challenge with a rose puzzle," Lucian offers.
"Eh, I couldn't care less," Spike says. "Just give me the challenge, and I'll do it."
Joe looks thoughtful. "May I keep one?" he asks.
The Men look around at each other. "Doesn't bother me any," Kyon says.
"Yeah, sure, go right ahead," Kirito says.
"Thank you," Joe says.
"I am keeping this rose to give to Giselle after I am finished with this game," Joe says. "I want to let her know how much she means to me, and I think this will be a nice surprise for her."
Immunity Challenge
"Come on in, guys!"
The sixteen remaining players walk into the immunity challenge area, immediately noticing that it is a makeshift basketball court, with one hoop on a half court.
"You guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?"
"As ready as we'll ever be," Mine says.
"First things first, I will take it back."
Kirito hands the immunity idol over to Jet.
"Thank you. Once again, immunity is back up for grabs."
"Let's go!" Konata exclaims.
"You received something in treemail, right?" Jet says.
"Yeah," Misty says. "A trio of basketballs."
"So, what Olympic sport do you expect to play?" Jet asks.
"Sailing?" Konata says.
Jet laughs. "Good guess, Konata. No, we're playing 3x3 basketball. Three players on a team, on a half court with only one basket, and modified scoring. But I believe that those basketballs weren't the only thing you received."
Joe pulls out one of the roses. "We got two of these," he says. "We couldn't figure out what they meant, though."
"Hmmm…" Jet says. "Well, let's see. You'd give a rose to someone you're in love with, right? So, what if that meant that you'd be seeing someone you love at this challenge?"
Everyone gasps and starts cheering.
"And…" Jet continues. "If there are two roses, maybe that means that you'll get to see two people!"
The players jump up and down in celebration.
"Let's bring in our first couple of loved ones," Jet says. "Michiru, here is Survivor: Crazy All-Stars winner Haruka Tenoh."
Haruka comes rushing in, and she and Michiru embrace warmly. The two of them share a kiss on the lips.
"And why not someone else?" Jet says. "Here is Survivor: Hikawa Shrine competitor, Setsuna Meioh."
Setsuna walks in, and Michiru and Haruka each give her a high five.
"This is so amazing!" Michiru exclaims. "Thank you so much, Jet!"
"You're welcome," Jet says. "But you're not the only one getting love. How about Misty? Here's Survivor Crazy Second Chance winner Ash Ketchum."
Ash runs in, and he immediately runs up to Misty and hugs her. The two then share a kiss.
"And let's not forget, Survivor: Feudal Japan competitor, Brock."
"Hey, guys!" Brock says, running in and waving. Ash and Misty join him in a group hug.
"You know, this is awesome," Misty says. "Ash and I have been waiting for the right moment to get married. Maybe we can tie the knot after I win this game!"
Konata smirks. "You'll have to get past us, first."
"Indeed you will," Jet says. "Because the next one out here is Kagami Hiragi, Konata's friend."
Kagami jogs on in. "They told me you need some help out here," she tells Konata. "I thought they were joking."
"They were," Konata replies. "But it's still nice to see you."
"And why not someone else?" Jet says. "How about Kagami's sister Tsukasa?"
Tsukasa runs on in. "Let's go!" she exclaims. "Almost got the whole gang here!"
"Yeah, just missing Miyuki," Kagami says.
Konata gives high fives to both of her friends. "Three out of four ain't bad," she says.
"Next up, how about you, Haruhi?" Jet says. "Here comes Yuki Nagato."
Nagato walks in without saying a word. She reaches out and shakes Haruhi's hand.
"I have been programmed to help you out here," Nagato says. "Ask me a question, and I'll answer."
Haruhi thinks about it for a second. "Okay, then," she says. "Who is the other person for me?"
Jet chuckles. "I'll tell you," he says. "Here's Mikuru Asahina!"
Haruhi immediately runs over to Asahina and starts squeezing her. Asahina cries helplessly.
"Oh, you're so moe!" Haruhi says. "Moe moe kyun!"
"Let's move on to the next ones," Jet says. "Ami, here is Survivor: Feudal Japan tribemate Makoto Kino!"
Makoto jogs on out to meet Ami, and the two of them embrace. Ami then sneaks a kiss on Makoto's cheek, causing her to blush.
"Everyone knows now," Ami whispers in Makoto's ear.
"Oh!" Makoto says surprisingly, and Ami kisses her again.
"And the other person here to see you is Survivor: Hikawa Shrine winner Minako Aino!"
"It's so good to be back!" Minako says, as she jogs on over to Ami and Makoto.
"We need you," Ami says. "You were the greatest challenge beast in Survivor history."
"Maybe just third-best, but I thank you for the compliment!" Minako replies.
"Next up," Jet says. "Jasmine, here's your husband Silver, from Survivor: Shamouti Island."
Silver runs out and immediately embraces Jasmine. The two of them then share a long kiss.
"We know how much he means to you," Jet says. "Let's top that off with your friend Whitney, winner of Survivor: Shamouti Island."
Whitney waves as she comes on in. Jasmine grabs her hand and whispers "thank you" to her.
"Now, on to Mine," Jet says. "Here's your boyfriend Tatsumi."
"Boyfriend?!" Mine exclaims. "He's not my-"
Tatsumi rushes over to Mine, who blushes heavily. "You and I aren't-"
"Don't worry about it," Tatsumi says.
"And, let's also bring in another one of your friends – Chelsea, from Survivor: Best Girl."
Chelsea comes rushing in, sucking on a lollipop as she does. "Maybe this time I'll get a fair shake," she tells Mine as she and Tatsumi greet her.
"You got a raw deal last time," Mine says. "We'll make this one count for you."
"Finally, the last Woman to have her loved ones join us is Alice," Jet says. "But wait no more! Here's your boyfriend Ryo!"
Ryo walks in slowly, and Alice rushes over to greet him. She hugs him warmly.
"It's so good to see you!" Alice says.
"Yeah, yeah," Ryo replies.
"And how about this for your second loved one," Jet says. "It's Survivor: Best Girl runner-up, Erina Nakiri, your cousin!"
Erina walks on in with a stern look on her face. Alice sees her expression and doesn't know what to do. Erina then reaches out and grabs her by the arms, before squeezing her tight and hugging her.
"I didn't know if you were going to hit me or hug me!" Alice says.
"Good to see you, cousin!" Erina replies. "You're doing the Nakiri family name proud!"
"Still hanging out with Soma?" Alice says.
"Oh, him?" Erina says, blushing heavily. "No, no, not at all! Maybe just a little bit, but no, nothing much at all!"
Alice laughs. "Oh, you're so funny!"
"All right, all right," Jet says. "The Women have all gotten their time in spotlight. Now it's time for the Men. We'll start with Joe. Here is your wife, Giselle Gravelpot, finalist from Survivor: Shamouti Island."
Giselle runs in and Joe immediately goes up to greet her. Joe then hands over the rose to her.
"I love you, Giselle," Joe says with a blush.
"Is that all you've got?" Giselle replies, with her hands on her hips.
Joe stammers. "But, but…"
"Oh, relax!" Giselle replies, as the taller girl bends down and kisses him on the lips. "You and I will be together forever! Now do me proud and win this game!"
"I'll try!" a still-blushing Joe exclaims.
"And let's bring in Joe's other loved one, his teacher and competitor on Survivor: Shamouti Island, Roxanne!"
"Ew, her?" Giselle says.
Roxanne rushes in and shakes Joe's hand. Giselle immediately grabs her hand and pulls it off his.
"No, no, no," she says. "None of this funny business between you two!"
"Relax, Giselle," Joe replies. "She's just my teacher."
"I'm so glad Arceus allowed me a chance to participate in this game again," Roxanne says. "It was the experience of a lifetime to play out here twice."
"Arceus, shmarceus," Giselle says. "You just better stay away from Joe."
"Next up are some people I know well," Jet says. "Spike, here's Faye Valentine from Survivor: Xing."
Faye walks in, none too pleased to be spending time on this island. Spike doesn't even respond to seeing her.
"Why the #*$& are you wasting my time with this?" Faye says. "I'd rather be doing anything else but this."
"Don't blame me," Spike says. "I didn't ask for you to come."
Jet chuckles. "Also, we've got another character, and I do mean 'character.' Here's Radical Edward, from Survivor: Seireitei Forest."
Ed walks into the immunity challenge area on her hands. She handstands all the way over to Spike.
"Am I here?" Ed says.
"Yes," Jet says.
"No, am I here?" Ed says.
"You are here!" everyone yells.
"No, am I here?" Ed says.
Some of the players start to steam over Ed's annoying antics, including Spike.
"Two of the three things I hate most – kids and women with attitudes are here. All I need is an animal here to make it a trifecta."
Jet laughs. "Sorry, I haven't got one of those for you. However, for Killua, I've got someone you'll be happy to see. Here's Gon Freecss!"
"Gon!" Killua shouts, as his friend comes running in.
"Killua! So good to see you!" Gon says.
"You've got to play this game someday," Killua says. "This is fun stuff!"
"Oh, I will!" Gon replies. "Jet, you've got to put me on the waitlist!"
Jet chuckles. "I'll put you on there, right behind the cast of Sister Princess," he says. "Also for Killua, here's Leorio Paradinight!"
Leorio runs into the immunity challenge and gives high fives to both Killua and Gon.
"I may not be a doctor yet, but I have the prescription to what your tribe needs!" Leorio says. "And that's the three of us working together to win a challenge!"
"How's Kurapika?" Killua asks.
"Oh, he's still on the hunt for the Kurta eyes," Leorio says. "Heard from him the other day, he just found a couple."
"All right," Jet says. "Time now for Kyon. Here's Survivor: Rivals player Itsuki Koizumi."
Koizumi walks in with a smile, while Kyon facepalms. Koizumi then puts his hands out as if to say, "who knows?"
"Great pick," Kyon says. "The only possible worse pick you could have come with is…"
"Yes, here's Taniguchi, your classmate!" Jet says.
Kyon facepalms again. "Really?"
"Hey, I'm out here to help," Taniguchi says. "Looks like you haven't been doing so great, so I'm here to turn things around for you."
"How did you know?" Kyon asks.
"I saw Haruhi having a good time over there," Taniguchi says.
"It's all coming together as Miss Suzumiya wished it would happen," Koizumi says.
"I knew you were going to say that," Kyon groans.
"Next up!" Jet exclaims. "It's Mayuri's turn. First, it's Squad 12 Lieutenant Nemu Kurotsuchi."
Nemu walks in and shakes hands with Mayuri.
"How have my experiments been doing?" Mayuri asks.
"Quite well," Nemu says. "You are so good at what you do."
"And here is another person Mayuri knows well, Squad 13 Captain Jushiro Ukitake!"
Ukitake trips as he walks in, and he starts vomiting blood on the ground. He then staggers over to Mayuri and shakes hands with him.
"Ugh," Ukitake says. "I feel miserable today."
"Isn't that every day?" Mayuri says.
"Next we've got Lucian," Jet says. "I hate to say it, but here's your queen, Cynthia, runner-up of Survivor: Shamouti Island."
Cynthia marches into the immunity challenge area, and some of the players shudder upon seeing her. As she walks over, Lucian falls to one knee in front of her, panting as he lowers his head.
"I see you have survived this far," Cynthia says. "You know all your winnings belong to me."
"Yes, I understand, Queen Cynthia," Lucian says, trying to catch his breath.
"I am expecting big things from you," Cynthia says. "Don't embarrass me."
"I won't, I won't," Lucian replies.
"Also, here's Flint, member of the Sinnoh Elite Four," Jet announces.
Flint walks over to Lucian in a jovial mood.
"You having any fun out here?" he asks.
"I wouldn't call it fun," Lucian says. "It's actually been quite miserable."
"Cheer up!" Flint replies. "When you got this woman as your queen, there's very little to complain about."
Cynthia looks harshly at Flint, and Lucian gulps.
"Just try not to get in the way," Cynthia tells Flint, who just shakes his head and laughs.
"Next, we've got Prussia. Here is Survivor: Crazy Second Chance runner-up, Hungary."
Hungary rushes into the immunity challenge area and gives Prussia a hug.
"Mr. Prussia, I've been worried about you," Hungary says. "Are you doing okay?"
"I'm doing awesome!" Prussia replies. "Everyone loves me here, too!"
"And we've got Austria as well for you, Prussia!" Jet announces.
Austria walks in, not looking very happy.
"I'm only here because she forced me to come," Austria says to Prussia.
"Why, of course!" Hungary says. "You needed to come out here to help our old friend Mr. Prussia!"
"Prussia has made my life miserable," Austria says. "But, because I'm out here, I'll help him out."
"Awesome!" Prussia says.
Jet then clears his throat. "Finally, we have Kirito's loved ones. Here's his girlfriend Asuna Yuuki!"
Asuna runs in and immediately joins Kirito in a nice, long kiss. The two spin in a circle kissing each other.
"I'm so happy to see you," Asuna says.
"You give me life," Kirito says. "Getting to see you is enough to help me get through the rest of this game."
"You're going to do just fine," Asuna says. "I know no one else who's better at a game."
"And let's not forget Kirito's cousin, Suguha, better known as Leafa!" Jet announces.
Leafa comes rushing in and hugs both Kirito and Asuna.
"You're doing great, Kirito!" Leafa says. "You deserve a lot of credit for making it this far."
"Hey, I haven't made it that far," Kirito says.
"Don't sell yourself short," Leafa says.
"Yeah, we're behind you all the way," Asuna says. "You go out and win that million."
"All right, all right," Jet says. "Now that we have enough people here to field a small army, let's get to today's challenge. We will have 3x3 basketball mini-games between one Man and his two loved ones, and one Woman and her two loved ones. Players will be randomly drawn to go up against each other. You get one point for a close shot and two points for a shot behind the arc. First team to score three points wins the match. First tribe to win five matches wins immunity, safe at Tribal Council. Losers, Tribal Council, where one of you will be the fifth person voted out of this game. We'll draw for matches, then get started."
The players draw rocks to decide which teams will go against each other.
"All right, we've got our first match!" Jet announces. "It's Albino vs. Albino! Killua along with Gon and Leorio will play against Alice with Ryo and Erina. Killua has won the toss and will get the ball first. Survivors ready? Go!"
Killua dribbles forward, with Alice covering him. He then passes over to Gon, who avoids Ryo. Gon finds an open Leorio behind the arc. Erina tries blocking his shot, but Leorio shoots and finds nothing but net.
"2-0 Men!"
Alice takes her turn with the ball, and she passes it over to Erina. Erina then drives to the hoop and puts in a layup over Leorio for a point.
"2-1 Men!"
Killua gets the ball again, and this time he passes over to Leorio first. Leorio tries to find Gon under the hoop for an easy basket, but he is picked off by Ryo. Ryo then passes to Alice, who steps behind the arc. She rises and fires.
"2-point shot… is good! And that's it! This match belongs to the Women!"
Alice high-fives Ryo and Erina, while Killua walks off dejectedly.
"Next up!" Jet announces. "Haruhi, Mikuru, and Nagato up against Kyon, Koizumi, and Taniguchi!"
Kyon sighs. "Really? I have to go up against Haruhi?"
"Random draw," Jet replies, as the players take the court. "Survivors ready? Go!"
Haruhi takes the ball and passes to Mikuru. Nagato puts out her hands as if to say "pass the ball to me," but Mikuru gets scared and ends up fumbling the ball over to Taniguchi.
"Mikuru, what are you doing?" Haruhi shouts.
Taniguchi passes over to Kyon, who looks over at Koizumi standing nonchalantly at the two-point line.
"No way I'm passing to him," Kyon mumbles.
Kyon instead drives to the hoop, and Haruhi fails in her defense.
"Kyon makes the 1-point shot! 1-0 Men!"
Kyon shrugs as Haruhi takes the ball. Nagato again puts out her hands for a pass, but this time Haruhi tries driving to the hoop herself. Taniguchi jumps in and blocks her shot, and it bounces out to Koizumi.
"Come on, Koizumi!" Kyon shouts.
Koizumi does nothing with the ball, just standing there. Kyon rushes over to him and rips the ball out of his hands, all with Haruhi chasing him closely. Kyon looks to pass it, but Haruhi is all over him. In desperation, he tosses the ball toward the hoop.
"Kyon's shot is… good! From the 2-point line! And that's it! Men win this game, 3-0!"
Kyon looks absolutely shocked, while Koizumi shrugs at him.
"You had something to do with that ball going in," Kyon says to Koizumi as they walk off the court, and Koizumi simply shrugs. Nagato gives Koizumi a nod, but says nothing.
"Okay, we are tied up, 1-1! Next up, Misty's team up against Lucian's team!"
Ash and Brock join Misty out on the court, with Cynthia and Flint going out with Lucian.
"Survivors ready? Go!
Lucian gets the ball first, and he immediately passes to Cynthia. Cynthia fires up a 2-point shot, but it misses badly. Misty gets the rebound and passes on to Ash.
"Pass it here!" Brock calls.
Ash looks over at Brock, but then decides to pull up and shoot a 2-pointer. Cynthia rushes over and blocks it.
"Good work, my queen!" Lucian says, as Cynthia passes the ball over to him. She sees Flint wide open, but she refuses to pass. Instead, she chucks up another 2-pointer, and this one fails as well.
"Got it!" Brock says, getting the rebound. He passes over to Ash, who finds Misty under the hoop. Misty puts up a layup, and she scored a point for her team.
"1-0 in this match!" Jet shouts.
Lucian gets the ball back, and he passes to Flint. Flint passes up a shot and throws it over to Cynthia, who this time sees Lucian wide open. But she instead chucks up a 2-point shot, which hits back iron and bounces out.
"I've got it!" Ash calls, as he scoops up the rebound. He passes to Brock, who makes a nice move past Flint and puts in the layup.
"2-0 so far!" Jet says.
Lucian this time passes to Flint, who fakes a shot and tries to make a drive. As he does, he loses possession of the ball, and Cynthia and Misty get tangled up trying to recover it.
"Held ball!" Jet announces. "Since the Men started the match with the ball, the Women get the ball."
Cynthia shakes her head as Misty grabs the ball. She then passes it over to Ash to get things underway. Ash has a clear look at a 2-point shot, but he instead does the safe thing and passes to Brock near the hoop. Brock puts in the layup, and all the Women jump up in celebration.
"That's it! Women win the match, and go up 2-1 overall!"
Flint looks disgusted as he walks off the court. Cynthia and Lucian walk somberly to the bench.
"You know, you can pass the ball!" he tells Cynthia.
"No one tells me what to do," Cynthia replies sternly.
"Okay, next up!" Jet says. "It's going to be Kirito, Asuna, and Leafa going up against Michiru, Haruka, and Setsuna!"
Michiru takes the ball first, and she immediately passes over to Haruka. Haruka spots up for a quick jumper inside the 2-point line, and it goes in.
"1-0 Women here!" Jet shouts.
Kirito takes the ball next, and he charges up the middle. Setsuna and Michiru, both very unathletic, end up falling to the ground as Kirito drives to the hoop and puts it in for 1.
"1-1!" Jet yells.
"Shouldn't that have been a foul?" Haruka asks.
"I'm being a bit lax on fouls today," Jet replies.
"Fine, then," Haruka says. "Give me the ball, Michiru."
Michiru passes over to Haruka, who drives hard to the hoop. Leafa and Asuna both drop to the ground as Haruka charges through. Haruka puts up the layup, which goes in.
"2-1 Women!" Jet shouts.
"We need a new strategy," Kirito says.
He, Leafa, and Asuna huddle up, talking about what they want to do. Jet then breaks up the huddle.
"Let's get moving!" he says.
Kirito smiles, then takes the ball and passes over to Asuna, who is behind the 2-point line. She looks up as if she is going to shoot, but then she passes to Kirito, who starts driving to the hoop again. Haruka guards him, not letting him any further, but Kirito stops on his own. He passes out to a wide-open Leafa in the corner. Leafa puts up the 2-point shot, and it goes in. The Men erupt in celebration.
"That's it!" Jet shouts. "3-2, Men win! It's now tied up 2-2 overall!"
Haruka shakes her head as she walks off the court, being embraced by Michiru on the way back to the bench.
"It's okay," Michiru whispers. "You did your best. They just got lucky."
"I hope it doesn't mean you go home," Haruka whispers back.
"Next up!" Jet announces. "It'll be Prussia, Hungary, and Austria going up against Mine, Tatsumi, and Akame!"
Prussia gets the ball first, but he is incredibly unathletic. He dribbles the ball off his shoe, and Austria dives for it. It is of no use, as Tatsumi picks up the loose ball.
"Over here!" Mine calls.
Tatsumi looks over in Mine's direction, but he only fakes the pass. He then tosses it over to Akame, who is wide open outside the 2-point line. Akame spots up and sinks the 2-pointer.
"2-0 Women, just like that!" Jet exclaims.
Prussia takes the ball and pass over to Hungary. Hungary looks for Austria, but her pass is badly off the mark, and it goes out of bounds.
"Women ball!" Jet says.
Mine gets the ball again, and she passes over to Akame. Akame has a shot at a 2-pointer, but she passes it up. Instead, she goes low to Tatsumi, who works down below the hoop. Tatsumi dribbles a few times, then puts up a hook shot over a helpless Austria.
"It goes in!" Jet announces. "And that's it! Women win this match 3-0, and go up 3-2 overall!"
Tatsumi, Akame, and Mine all share high fives as they walk over to the bench, while Prussia tries dusting himself off.
"Totally not awesome!" he complains.
"Next up!" Jet says. "Konata, Kagami, and Tsukasa vs. Joe, Giselle, and Roxanne!"
Konata starts out with the ball, and she immediately chucks up a 2-point shot. It misses badly, and Roxanne grabs the rebound. She passes over to Joe behind the 2-point line. Joe thinks about shooting, but he instead passes over to Giselle. Giselle then drives to the hoop, elbowing Kagami but not drawing a foul. She puts it up and in for a 1-point shot.
"1-0 Men!" Jet yells.
"Hey, where's the foul?" Kagami complains.
"I'm being lax today," Jet says.
"Whatever," Kagami says.
Konata this time starts her possession with a pass to Tsukasa. Tsukasa looks for Kagami across the court, but Joe deflects her pass, and Roxanne ends up with it. Roxanne then passes to a wide-open Giselle, just itching to shoot. She pops up the shot, and it goes in.
"Yes!" Giselle shouts. "We win!"
"Uh-uh-uh," Jet says, wagging his finger. "Your foot was on the line. Because of that, your shot is only worth 1 point, not 2. So, the match continues, 2-0 Men."
Konata takes the ball in again, and she passes out to Tsukasa. Tsukasa dribbles toward the basket, before passing the ball out to Kagami. Kagami makes sure both of her toes are behind the 2-point line, and she chucks one up.
"It's good!" Jet yells. "And we are tied, 2-2!"
Joe starts this possession by passing to Roxanne, who drives up and tries a layup – but misses.
"Joe, you were supposed to pass that to me, not that $#%*&!" Giselle shouts.
Konata takes the ball and dribbles behind the 2-point line, then chucks one up.
"The shot is…"
…
…
…
"No good!" Jet screams.
Joe gets the rebound, and this time passes to Giselle. Giselle makes sure both of her feet are behind the 2-point line, then she puts one up.
"It goes in!" Jet shouts. "4-2 final, Men win, and tie up the challenge at 3-3!"
Giselle hugs Joe warmly and kisses him on the forehead, before she sees Roxanne walking over.
"We win… but for no help from you."
"You know, you shouldn't have gone for 2 there," Roxanne says. "All we needed was 1 point."
"Just shut up, you *$#&%," Giselle says.
"Next up!" Jet shouts. "It's Mayuri, Nemu, and Ukitake for the Men, going up against Ami, Makoto, and Minako for the Women!"
Mayuri begins with the ball, and he passes over to Nemu, who passes right back to him. Mayuri then fires toward Ukitake, but he is vomiting up blood, and the ball goes out of bounds.
"Could you please time your sicknesses around me?" Mayuri says.
Ami passes in bounds to Makoto. She dribbles toward the hoop, then puts up a layup over Nemu's outstretched arms.
"1-0 Women!"
Mayuri angrily takes the ball, seeing that Ukitake is in no shape to help. He passes to Nemu, who passes back to him. He then spots up and takes a jumper, making it for 1 point.
"1-1!"
Ami passes to Makoto, expecting Makoto to go hard to the hoop again. But this time Makoto stops and passes over to Minako. Minako drives to the hoop and puts it in up above Nemu.
"2-1 Women!"
Mayuri takes possession, and this time he just fires up a 2-point shot, hoping to win the match then and there. He misses, and Makoto gets the rebound. Makoto then passes over to an open Minako, who tries a long 1-point shot.
"It goes in!" Jet shouts. "And that's it! Women win this match, 3-1, and now lead 4-3 overall!"
Minako gives Ami a high five, and Makoto hugs her warmly. "Good luck," Ami says to Jasmine, who solemnly nods.
"Women can win the challenge with a win in this match!" Jet announces. "Otherwise, we will go to a tiebreaker. It's Jasmine, Silver, and Whitney for the Women, up against Spike, Faye, and Ed for the Men!"
The players take the court, and a very nervous Jasmine gets the ball first.
"It'll be all right, Jasmine," Whitney says.
"Yeah, we've got this," Silver says.
Jasmine immediately passes the ball to Silver, then steps away from the action, as Silver tries charging toward Faye. When Silver is about to meet Faye, she steps completely away from his path and just lets him go up and score.
"1-0 Women!" Jet shouts.
"What the heck are you doing?" Spike says to Faye.
"Hey, I'm not getting hurt over this stupid game," Faye replies.
Ed starts walking around the court on her hands, not even caring about the match. Spike takes the ball in and thinks about passing to Faye. Instead, he chooses to shoot, and his 2-point shot hits nothing but net.
"Spike makes the 2-pointer!" Jet shouts. "And it's 2-1 Men!"
Jasmine gets the ball again, and once more she passes to Silver and steps aside. Silver starts driving toward the hoop, and Spike gets in his way. Faye then puts her hands up to prevent Silver from getting a pass away.
"You're stuck!" Faye says.
But Silver rolls the ball down between Faye's legs, and she and Spike are shocked to see the ball roll right to Whitney's feet. Whitney then chucks up a 2-point attempt.
"Whitney's shot…"
…
…
…
"…goes in! And that's it! Women win immunity!"
The entire Women tribe, along with their loved ones, goes absolutely bananas. Players hug, kiss, cheer, scream, dance, and showboat. The Men tribe, on their bench with their loved ones, look as if they are getting ready for a prison photo.
"Here you go, Women," Jet says, handing over the idol into the sea of people. Misty comes out with it and holds it up high.
"You are safe from tonight's vote. You will get to come to Tribal Council and eat peanuts while your opponents, otherwise known as the losers, the Men, go and vote someone out. Congratulations, and give your loved ones a goodbye, before heading on out."
The Women and their loved ones hug and kiss each other, with the loved ones giving some advice before leaving. They then march out of the immunity challenge area.
"Men, you give your loved ones a goodbye. I got nothing for you, except a date with me for Tribal Council, where one of you will be the fifth person voted out of the game."
The Men also hug it out with their loved ones, before heading on out.
Camp
Men: Joe, Killua, Kirito, Kyon, Lucian, Mayuri, Prussia, Spike
Women: Alice, Ami, Haruhi, Jasmine, Konata, Michiru, Mine, Misty
The Men start talking strategy as soon as they get back to camp.
"We've got five," Kirito says to Killua and Joe. "It's us three plus Mayuri and Prussia. That's all we need. Who are we going to vote for?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down," Killua says. "How do we know Mayuri and Prussia are with us for sure? They seem easily convinced otherwise."
"They're the swing votes," Joe says. "If Kyon, Spike, and Lucian manage to get them on their side, then it's one of the three of us going home."
"Then let's just make sure they're wit us," Kirito says. "Joe, you talk to Kyon, I'll talk to…"
"No, no, that's not how to do it," Killua says. "Here's the best way. Everyone hates Lucian, right?"
"Right," Kirito says.
"I don't mind him that much," Joe says.
"Well, he's the enemy," Killua says. "What we need to do is make this vote a unanimous one."
"Unanimous?" Joe says.
"That's right. Make sure that every single player is voting Lucian, with no exceptions."
"But if Lucian uses his Shot-in-the-Dark, then there's a chance that one of us goes," Kirito says.
"Not too hard to fix," Killua says. "If it's going to be a unanimous vote, then let's make it non-unanimous again."
Joe shakes his head in confusion. "I need my teacher Roxanne here to help me figure out what you're saying, because my head is spinning."
Killua chuckles. "Yeah, I'm getting ahead of myself," he says. "Here's how it works. We go to Kyon, Spike, Prussia, and Mayuri, and make it clear: we're all voting Lucian. It's going to be an easy 7-1 vote, and we are going to forget about everything else, because Lucian is too dangerous to remain out here. Then the fun part starts."
"Fun part?" Joe says.
"Yes," Killua says. "Two of us – maybe Kirito and myself – vote for either Kyon or Spike. That way, if Lucian uses his Shot-in-the-Dark and it comes through, then we are safe, because one of them will go."
"I still don't know about this…" Joe says.
"Killua is thinking up all these strategies and sub-strategies, and I'm not sure it's the best thing," Joe says. "If he makes it to the end, he's going to win for sure, unless he goes up against a bitter jury."
A little later, Alice is serving rice to each of the players. It is in front of them all that Killua makes his statement.
"I just want to announce something to both tribes," he says loudly. "After careful consideration, and after all he did to wreck our camp, Lucian will be the next player going home."
Some of the women gasp. Lucian looks particularly perturbed.
"We will decide it by our vote tonight, which will be unanimous," Killua continues. "We will follow the rules of the game, and not do the same thing as the last Tribal Council. But still, Lucian will be eliminated, and there are no further questions."
"I have a question!" Prussia says.
"I said, there are no further questions," Killua replies.
Kyon and Spike look over at each other and try to stop from laughing.
"You really are just going to demand our vote like this?" Spike says. "You've got some pretty big balls to do that."
"Yeah, we will vote the way we decide to," Kyon says.
"Look, I'm trying to make this quick and easy," Killua says. "If we all rise up and defeat the enemy now, then we don't have to worry about him causing more mayhem like me and Kirito and Joe are afraid of."
"Maybe," Mayuri says.
Lucian finally steps to his own defense. "Excuse me, are you really going to pretend that I'm the crazy one? I got duped by Cato and Gary. I trusted them! It's not my fault!"
"You've run out of chances," Killua says. "Now is the time for your removal."
"Oh, but I have people on my side, don't I, Spike and Kyon?"
Spike and Kyon look at each other again and try to stop from chuckling.
"We're voting for who we want to," Spike says.
"Yeah, no one's going to demand for us to do anything," Kyon says.
"This is so frustrating!" Lucian exclaims.
"Killua is trying to just knock me out without a vote," Lucian says. "But he's got another thing coming. I'm going to play like mad in tonight's Tribal Council, and I'm going to get enough votes to blindside him. This is going to be sweet!"
Tribal Council
(Men)
The eight Men trudge on into the Tribal Council area and set down their torches.
"All right," Jet says. "We have a big challenge today, one of the biggest in Survivor history, with 48 people competing. You guys can't get the job done, while those ones…"
He points up to the peanut gallery where the Women are having a snack.
"…beat you and beat you good."
"Yeah, it was kind of embarrassing," Killua says. "I know we're better than that. We should have at least forced a tiebreaker."
"That really sucked," Spike says. "Some of the loved ones on our teams, including both of them on mine, didn't know a thing about basketball."
"Well, that's sometimes how it goes," Jet states. "You get back to camp, what's the first thing you do?"
"Easy," Kirito says. "We all agree to vote out Lucian."
Jet looks surprised. "Unanimously?"
"Unanimously."
"We are letting you know, Lucian, to play your Shot-in-the-Dark," Joe says. "It's an olive branch to you."
"Some olive branch," Lucian replies. "That's only a 1-in-6 shot for me. You're extending me a branch of poison ivy."
Jet chuckles. "You mean to tell me that everyone in this tribe is dead set on voting out Lucian?"
"No, not quite," Spike says. "Kyon and myself don't like being told who we can and cannot vote for. That's why I'm frustrated by Killua's remarks."
"Yeah, he's starting to get too much power," Kyon says.
"Well, if he is, why not just vote him out?" Jet says.
"Objection! Leading the witness!" Killua says.
Lucian clears his throat. "Look, guys – can I say that word, 'guys'? I'm not the evil one here. All I want is to bring home some money to my queen Cynthia. I can't do that without going far in this game. So, I'm asking you: please keep me around."
"We'll see," Kirito says.
"Now, how else can I stall for time here at Tribal Council?" Jet says. "Should I ask everyone how confident they are on a 1-to-10 scale?"
"I'm a 10," Killua says.
"Me too," Kirito says.
"I'm more like a 9," Joe says.
There is a pause, as none of the other players want to answer.
"Well, I didn't officially ask the question, but if you want to answer, go right ahead."
Kyon shakes his head. "I'm not playing any of these mind games with Killua. At the same time, I see his point about Lucian. It's a tough decision to make."
"Mayuri, has there been any talk about swing vote?"
"There has not been much," Mayuri says. "But perhaps some people are keeping it close to the vest."
"It would be awesome if my vote decided who goes home!" Prussia says. "And I think I am one of those swing voters, like in Pennsylvania or Georgia."
"Interesting topics," Jet says. "But if I've got things straight, Lucian's going to go home tonight, or somebody's going to get a big surprise. Let's get to it. Joe, you're up first."
The Tribal Council theme "Tally the Vote" plays as the contestants go over to the voting booth.
Joe goes to vote.
"Lucian, I sympathize with you all the way," Joe says. "But there's no other way around it: you've brought destruction to our camp, so you've got to go home."
Killua goes to vote.
"This has been a long time coming," Killua says.
Kirito goes to vote.
"Man, I hope we've played this right," Kirito says.
Kyon goes to vote.
Lucian goes to vote.
"Killua, you've been a complete $%*-hole out here to me," Lucian says. "I can't wait for the moment you are sent home tonight."
Mayuri goes to vote.
Prussia goes to vote.
Spike goes to vote.
"No one tells me how to vote," he says.
After Spike comes back from voting, Jet makes his usual announcement:
"I'll go tally the votes."
Jet walks over to the voting booth, pulls some of the votes out, rearranges them inside the bucket, then carries the urn back to his usual spot.
"If anyone has an advantage or a hidden immunity idol, now would be the time to do so."
All the players look around at each other, but none of them make a move.
"Okay. Once the votes are read, the decision is final, and the person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
…
…
…
"First vote, Killua."
Killua looks surprised by this vote. "Did he not use his Shot-in-the-Dark?" he whispers to Kirito, who shrugs.
…
…
…
"Spike."
This vote now rankles up Spike. "Why me?" he complains.
…
…
…
"Spike. That's two votes Spike, one vote Killua."
Lucian looks shocked to see this vote. "What is going on?" he whispers.
…
…
…
"Lucian."
…
…
…
"Lucian. We're tied, two votes Lucian, two votes Spike, with one vote for Killua."
…
…
…
"Lucian. That's three votes Lucian, two votes Spike, one vote Killua, two votes left."
Lucian grabs his bag to prepare to leave.
…
…
…
"Killua. Three votes Lucian, two votes Killua, two votes Spike, one vote left."
Killua looks completely flabbergasted upon seeing this vote.
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
Jet pulls out the final vote and opens it extremely slowly. "Killua," he reads. "We have a tie."
"What?" Killua shouts. "What in the world is going on here?"
"You're telling me," Lucian says.
"We will now have a revote," Jet states. "Lucian and Killua, you will not vote. Everyone else, you must vote for either Lucian or Killua only. If there is a tie after this vote, we will go to the unanimous decision tiebreaker before heading for rocks. Keep that in mind as you go to vote. Joe, you're up first. Grab the voting urn and go vote again."
The "Tally the Vote" music starts up again as Joe carries over the urn.
Joe goes to vote.
Kirito goes to vote.
Kyon goes to vote.
Mayuri goes to vote.
Prussia goes to vote.
Spike goes to vote.
"I'll go tally the votes – again," Jet says.
Jet gathers the votes in the urn, then brings it back to the players.
"I'll read the votes."
…
"First vote… Killua."
Killua shakes his head angrily.
…
…
…
"Killua. That's two votes Killua."
In frustration, Killua slams his fist on the stool he is sitting on.
…
…
…
"Lucian."
…
…
…
"Lucian. We're tied. Two votes Killua, two votes Lucian, two votes left."
…
…
…
…
…
"Lucian. That's three votes Lucian, two votes Killua, one vote left."
…
…
…
…
…
"Fifth person voted out of Survivor: Crazy Game Changers, Lucian."
Lucian pounds his fist on the stump he is sitting on, then grabs his bag.
"You guys are lucky that I won't be on the jury," he says.
He grabs his torch and brings it over to Jet.
"Lucian, the tribe has spoken," Jet says, snuffing out Lucian's torch. "It's time for you to go."
Lucian begins to walk out, before turning around and facing the players.
"Lucky!" he shouts sternly. He then walks down the path to find a bunch of boxes and a note.
"You must bequeath your Fire Tokens to another player," Lucian reads. "What the heck, I hate all these people. I'd rather eat them."
After about five minutes of mulling it over, Lucian tosses one Token in Jasmine's box, one Token in Misty's box, and one Token in Joe's box.
"I'll help out the Pokémon people," he says. "But in reality, I couldn't care about any of them. Screw them all."
He then walks off to Ponderosa. The camera pans back to Jet.
"I don't exactly know what went on in the voting booth tonight, and I'm not sure I want to know," Jet says. "Grab your torches, head back to camp, good night."
The Men go over and take their torches, then go on back to camp.
"These people are all frauds," Lucian says. "Frauds, frauds, everywhere. They're a joke. They're kind of like a certain former president who thinks he's a lot richer than he actually is, because he's not super rich. I'm going to go home to my queen."
Who voted for whom:
Joe – Lucian, Lucian
Killua – Spike
Kirito – Spike, Lucian
Kyon – Killua, Killua
