After the case with the Wendigo the trio had been on the road going on various cases in search for their dad for months. They soon realized John was just leaving them a trail of jobs to do so he could work alone. Sam was less accepting of that, he wanted everyone together so they could go after the thing that killed Mary as a group. Sam's visions kept increasing which was slightly concerning.

Sam abruptly woke up, sitting up from his bed panting. Interrupting Lillian from her dream she awoke sensing some distress in the room.

"Are you okay? Are you still having nightmares?" She asked Sam, voice just above a whisper, only lifting her head. She didn't want to wake Dean sleeping next to her.

He looked around almost confused about his surroundings. Sam then looked toward her, searching her face in the dark "yeah I'm fine." He turned back to lay back down facing the opposite side of his siblings. Lillian brushed it off and drifted back to sleep.

The next morning Dean and Lillian were searching for new possible cases. Dean was listing them off while Lillian had her legs kicked up listening to the list repeating "Pass" to all the ones he listed. They didn't interest her or didn't sound like possible cases. Sam wasn't paying attention to anything which wasn't like him. He was distracted, sketching in a notepad. She changed her attention towards Sam and watched him carefully.

Then he abruptly got up, "I've seen this." Grabbing Johns journal and what she can now see is a drawing of a tree. Sam also pulled out a picture of John, Mary, Dean and the twins as infants to compare the picture and drawing. Sam started rambling to Lillian and Dean about how they have to go back home to Kansas.

"Um okay.. but why?" Lillian asked, Dean looked at him serious.

Sam presented the photo and drawing to them, "This picture was taken in front of our old house yeah? It's where mom died." Lillian and Dean nodded warily and Sam continued. "It didn't burn down entirely though, it was rebuilt-"

"What does this have to do with anything?" Lillian cut him off.

"Yeah what the hell are you talking about man?" Dean pitched in.

Sam looked slightly unhinged. He looked both his siblings in the eyes and kept going, "I know I'm going to sound crazy, but the people who live in our old house are in danger."

"What makes you say that?" "How are you sure?" Lillian and Dean asked at the same time.

"You… um" Sam looked away then back at them then away again. "You have to um just trust me, alright?" he started packing his bag.

"Just trust you?" Dean questioned suspiciously.

Sam nodded back "Yeah."

"There's no more information you can give..?" Dean pushed.

"I can't explain it" Sam continued packing.

Lillian understood. At least she thinks she did. Maybe this was one of his visions. Though why wouldn't he tell her first. She already knew. "Dean let's just trust him. Check it out and make sure it's all okay over there."

"No Lillian you aren't doing this two against one twin shit with me, there's something he isn't telling us!" Dean raised his voice.

Sam sighed and stopped packing. Lillian doesn't deserve to be yelled at for defending him. She doesn't deserve to be yelled at for helping him keep his secret. He turned towards Dean and spoke "I have these nightmares Dean."

"You think none of us haven't noticed that?" Dean said annoyed.

Sam sighed again "…they sometimes come true."

"What" Dean looked at Sam like he had three heads.

Sam explained to Dean his premonitions and how they came true. He explained to him how he saw Jessica's death. Though Dean tried denying it, he tried telling Sam that it's just weird dreams, some people have them.

"This thing in our old house could even be the thing that killed mom and Jessica!" Sam said trying to convince Dean on why they should go back.

"Calm down!" Dean raised his voice again.

Lillian chimed in, "Sam I do not think the demon that killed mom and Jessica is in our old house. There could be something in our old house based on what you're saying though."

Sam and Dean looked at her shocked.

"Did you just say demon? What do you mean demon?" Sam asked.

"How do you know what killed mom? Why didn't you ever mention it to us!" Dean said next.

Lillian slipped up. She wants to kill Azazel but now wasn't the time. She found out he killed their mom with the help of her father. She doesn't even know where Azazel is. She wanted to find out what he is planning before she killed him, before she revealed to her brothers about his existence. There was a reason why Azazel targeted her family and she needs to know why. It's also so risky, they are so inexperienced with demons. The last demon they hunted on the plane almost exposed her as well. This is a tricky situation.

"I'm sorry I never told both of you. I knew if I told you guys then you would've immediately gone after it and you're not ready. You would've gotten yourselves killed."

"How long have you known?" Dean asked coldly.

Lillian stared at him with sorrow in her eyes not wanting to tell him.

"How long?"

"A few months after I went solo."

Dean turned around rubbing the back of his head in frustration. He turned back around and pointed a finger at her, "Dad has been grinding almost our entire lives for this! And you kept this from us?! How could you?"

"I did it to protect you! I know how foolish you can be. I didn't want you to kill yourselves going after it."

Dean pointed towards Sam not taking his eyes off of Lillian. "Jessica would still be alive if you told us sooner. We could've killed it if you told us sooner."

Lillian knows they couldn't have. Not a prince of hell. There was no convincing Dean otherwise at this point though. She turned to look at Sam and could see the hurt on his face. She knows she messed up but she knows she wasn't wrong for it.

There was no going back from this, she understood that. Lillian grabbed her duffle and backpack without saying a word. She walked towards the door and turned to her brothers. Glancing at both of them with watering eyes she quietly let out an "I'm sorry" then shut the door behind her. They will forgive her when they are ready.

She walked till she was at the end of the lot then flew to the first random place that came to mind. Sam went outside to look for, to try to find her hitching a ride from someone or stealing a car but she was gone, just vanished. He felt wrong leaving things the way they were even if he was upset. Who knows when the siblings will see each other again.

He walked back in the motel room to see Dean pacing then stop to face him "I'm not done with you The Shinning part two."
