Dean wasn't doing well. He was fuming with rage over Sam's actions. Though part of him knows that whatever his brother is doing right now isn't his brother, it's the demon blood. He can't fully wrap his head around it though. The fact that he would willingly drink blood from a demon and let himself continuously be manipulated by Ruby. Then as he escaped from the panic room, Sam used his powers on him. That wasn't Sam. He wasn't himself.
Dean told him not to come back if he left and he left anyways. When Sam ingested all that demon blood to become the monster that has, consumed this new demonic whole personality, it's truly changed him for the worst. He's impulsive and unhinged. Dean doesn't know what to make of it. He's tried his best already to help him. Everything is hopeless now.
Dean and Bobby were in the den. Both of them had serious expressions on their faces. They were both thinking about the previous night when Sam escaped his detox cell in Bobby's panic room and left with Ruby. They were supposed to be worrying about stopping the 66 seals and stopping the end of the world. Sam was supposed to be there with them. Though he's on his own agenda now after escaping.
"Sam hated all of this growing up, he ran away to Stanford the first chance he got." Dean spoke up to Bobby. "This is like déjà vu. I'm sick of chasing him. Fuck him, he can do what he wants."
Bobby looked stunned by Deans blunt words, "You don't mean that." Dean would never give up so easily on Sam, on either of his siblings.
"I really do Bobby. He's gone. I'm not sure if he's still my brother anymore. Or if he ever was." Deans face had a hopeless expression. He truly feels there's no point in saving his brother. He should focus on saving the world and helping his sister. His sisters current state was always his priority before any of this other shit got piled on.
Bobby started pacing angrily. He was breathing heavily as he fumed in reaction to Deans words. He turned towards his desk and pushed all the books and papers off of it in a fit of rage then turned towards Dean again.
"You stupid son of a bitch! Boohoo! I'm so sorry your feelings are hurt princess!" Bobby was yelling. Dean was standing now as Bobby continued. "Are you under the impression that family's supposed to make you feel good? Bake you an apple pie maybe? They're supposed to make you miserable!! That's why they're family!!" Bobby was screaming at Dean now.
Bobby wasn't getting it from Deans perspective, "I told him that if he walks out that door not to come back and he walked out anyway! That was his choice!"
"You sound like a whiny brat." Bobby scolded Dean once again. Dean walked away to the other side of the room having heard enough of it. Bobby kept going though, "Actually, you sound like your dad. He was a coward."
"My dad was a lot of things but a coward?" Dean didn't look too pleased to hear that.
"Your dad rather push him away than reach out to him. Well tell me, does that sound brave? You are better than your dad ever was. So do us both a favor, don't be him."
Bobby was right. Dean is better than John Winchester. Dean is braver. Dean doesn't give up on family. He has to find Sam and help him. Then they can stop the rest of the 66 seals from breaking. They can stop Lucifer from breaking free. He can undo his mistake.
He stared off into the window out at Bobby's junkyard. Deciding his next move. When Dean went to turn his head back towards Bobby but his surroundings changed in the swiftest motions. Turning around to take in his new surroundings he was in a big fancy windowless room. It had a big set of glamoured doors. It was beautiful. Had an antique look. There was gorgeous delicate religious paintings hanging on each wall with detailed golden frames supporting them. Luxury detailed furniture, light fixtures, and statues decorated the room. Dean walked around in absolute confusion as to how he got here. Until he heard a familiar voice and turned around.
"Hello Dean." Castiel spoke as Dean turned to face him. "It's almost time." Castiel had a very serious look about him as he spoke of the final seal.
Castiel left him alone again. This left Dean alone to pace the room with his thoughts. If he's stuck in this room then Who is going to stop Sam? Is Bobby okay too? If they trapped Bobby as well then what if they did something to Lily? Dean was worrying. He was furious. He doesn't like being trapped like a caged dog. He has too much on his plate right now as it is and being in this room entertaining angels is on the bottom of his list of priorities. Something about the way Castiel has been acting has been odd to Dean and he hopes he keeps his promise he made not that long ago.
It was late at night in Bobby's house. Dean was down in the lowly lit kitchen having a beer. He couldn't find himself sleeping that night with all the stress he's been under. He had risen from hell and discovered he's the righteous man and has to stop the 66 seals from breaking. It's a lot for one to take in. He didn't even think angels were real. Sitting back down at the table, opening another beer, he took a sip and let out a deep sigh.
As he went to take another swig of beer, there was a flutter of wings behind him. Abruptly turning his head back he saw the angel that rose him from the pits of hells, Castiel.
"Hello Dean." Castiel greeted him.
Dean was a bit startled by Castiels abrupt arrival. He is still getting used to the angel mojo crap. This is the first time Castiel has been to Bobby's home as well. "What's up? What is it this time… It's a little late you know?"
"Yes I know. I apologize on that part. I came to inform you another seal is about to be broken." The trench coat wearing angel spoke as he shifted more into Deans view so he could look at him as he spoke.
"Just great" Dean chuckled in defeat.
"I don't think that this is something to be cheerful about. This is a serious-"
"It's called sarcasm." Dean cut the confused angel off. He has got to teach him how to pick up on social cues and conversations. Castiel looked as if he was about to leave, but then he stood there for a second with his head tilted ever so the slightest. It was almost as if he was listening to something. 'Angel radio maybe?'
Castiel stepped forward slamming a hand on the table as he spoke firmly to Dean."What do you have hidden in the bedroom upstairs?"
Deans eyes widened with shock. Hidden? Is he talking about his sister? He's not necessarily hiding her. He doesn't trust angels yet to be around her. Why is Cas interested in her and why does he seem so concerned?
"My sister is upstairs, she's sick. She not involved in any of this. I don't want you anywhere near her!"
Castiel was taken aback. "John and Mary Winchester only have two children." He looked Dean dead in the eyes.
"That's impossible. You guys are freakin' stupid and got your data wrong then because my sister and brother are twins." Dean said sure of himself.
"Dean.." Castiel lowered himself to Deans level, hand still on the table. "Whatever is upstairs right now.. it's not human."
Dean couldn't believe what this feathered asshole was saying. How dare he come in here and start spewing shit about his family? He doesn't know shit! He has no right to make accusations. His sister is the most humane person he knows, yeah she gets a little crazy sometimes but she's good. She's most certainly human.
Dean frowned as he coldly stared at the angel "You best believe she's human you winged dick. You don't get to come up in here making false accusations! If she's some secret then listen up.. Now you better not tell anyone, I mean anyone!! About her! I don't care who you report to or your ranking status in heaven. She's my family! I don't want her in any angel business. I won't be your righteous man and do anything for any of you if you don't promise me this!"
Castiel sighed taking a step back. It's his moral duty to be a good soldier and do his heavenly duties. Though if Dean Winchester isn't on heavens side then what will they do? They need him. "I won't tell anyone." He looked away and straightened his jacket "I will be leaving now. Goodbye Dean." Castiel hoped this wouldn't blow up in his face.
If what Castiel said was true and Lillian wasn't human then what was she? Dean couldn't even comprehend to fathom the thought. She is human, he assured himself. She couldn't be anything but that. He remembers her as a baby. He watched her grow up into the woman she is now. She is human. There would be no reason why heaven would ever want her.
Just as he made another loop around the room pacing, a giant plate of burgers and a big fancy tin of beers appears on the table in the center on the room. Confused by the sudden appearance Dean went over to inspect it, picking up a beer.
"Hello Dean." A voice broke the silence, pulling Dean away from his thoughts. Dean turned his head to find the angel Zachariah. Castiel stood not too far behind him.
Dean scoffed at him. "What the hell is this? Where the hell am I?"
"You could call it a greenroom." Zachariah gestured his arms wide. "It's almost the grand finale here and we want to keep you safe before showtime." He walked up to Dean in front of the table with food. Picking up a burger he offered it to Dean "You should try one, they're your favorite. From that seaside shack in Delaware? I think you were 11."
Dean didn't move a muscle. He couldn't be swayed by any of his tricks. "I'm not hungry." When Dean refused Zachariah tried offering up women instead but Dean still refused. He wouldn't be tempted.
"I need to know the game plan. What's going on?"
"Let us worry about that. We need you focused, relaxed." Zachariah tried to reassure.
"Well I'm gonna be pissed and leaving, so start talking."
Zachariah took a deep breath trying not to lose his patience. "Every seal has fallen. All except one.. The final seal, it'll be different." He patted Deans shoulder as he made his way towards the other side of the room again.
Dean wasn't understanding the memo. He's sick of not being told everything. It's like they keep teasing him about it. "Why?" he turned towards Zachariah.
"Lilith has to break it. She's the only one who can break the final seal. Tomorrow night, at midnight."
"Where?"
"We're working on that."
"Well do better, work harder!" Dean was frustrated. They don't have all year to do this.
"You just do your job and we will do ours." Zachariah smiled.
"I'm still confused on what that's supposed to be exactly. If I'm supposed to be the one that stops her, then how am I supposed to? With the knife?"
"All in good time."
"Isn't right now a good time?!"
"Have faith." Zachariah continued to avoid the truth.

Sam was amped up with adrenaline. That and on a high of demon blood. He was traveling around with Ruby now that he was out of the panic room, close to a lead on Lilith finally. He felt he was on top of the world. Like he was unstoppable.
He had to keep his eye on the goal. Stay motivated and thinking about the one reason why he's where he is. If he lets his mind drift away the ever so slightest then it'll flood with immense guilt and dark thoughts. He can't have that, he has no time for distractions. Especially now that getting to Lilith and stopping her could not only save his sister but the world, since only she can complete the last seal. He has an important mission to complete.
Sam and Ruby interrogated a demon trying to find Lilith's location. Giving Sam the opportunity to practice his powers. To let him get stronger.
He tortured her using only his mind. She screamed loudly. It was a blood curdling scream. Sam didn't give in. He wanted Lilith's location. He needed it. He knows she knows it. Not giving in he kept inflicting pain as she begged to die.
"Fine!! Please just kill me after!!" The demon begged.
Sam agreed annoyed, "Where is she going to be?"
"A convent. St. Mary's, Ilchester, Maryland… She's going to break the final seal."
"What is the final seal?" Sam questioned.
"I don't know."
Sam didn't like that answer. He started to torture her again immediately. Screams tore into the room again. "I don't know! I swear, I don't! Please kill me please!" she cried out in painful screams.
"Fine."
Sam was about to take her life when Ruby stepped forward out of her long silence of watching. "Hold on, you can't."
"Why not?"
"You gotta take her with us."
Sam looked at her still confused. "Why?"
"This is the final run. You'll need more juice and you're gonna need more than I got if you are gonna take out Lilith."
Sam thought it over and it seemed rational. He nodded his head in agreement.
Once Sam had their kidnapped demon tied up in another area to drain for later usage. He started doing research on St. Mary's. He liked to be fully prepared for where he's going to by acquiring the knowledge and history of the building beforehand. He had an article pulled up and started reading faster as he processed the words. "Are you serious?" Sam said in disbelief.
"What?" Ruby pipped up as she was shuffling about in the room.
"So get this right.. St Mary's was abandoned in 1972, right after a priest disemboweled eight nuns. The priest claimed it wasn't his fault and a demon made him do it. He stated he even remembered the demons name."
"Oh yeah?" Ruby's face turned sour at the last sentence Sam spoke, but Sam was glued to his computer. She turned towards him giving him proper attention now, "Wow that's crazy, so Lilith and yellow eyes, all the A-listers were paying visits. That place has a certain credibility then huh?"
"It's definitely where the final seal goes down." Sam turned serious, his eyes still staring forward. He was prepared to do whatever it takes to take on Lilith. He was so ready for this.
"It's good enough for me." Ruby stood up and gestured towards the tied up demon they had, "Let's pack up this blood bag and get on the road."

Now left alone again Dean was on edge. Unsure of his exact location in the room he's in, he pulled out his cell phone and decided to try to ring Sam. It's worth a shot. He needs to know he cares. If he wasn't trapped right now he would be trying to find him right now.
Sam's number went straight to voicemail. Feeling a little awkward and out of his comfort zone, Dean left him a voice mail anyways. He apologized to him and reminded how they will always be family.
After some time has passed Dean prayed to Castiel. He needed to speak to him. As he waited for him to arrive he started breaking mini statues that decorated the room. As he broke an angel statue the voice of Castiel spoke from behind him which caused Dean to turn around.
"You asked to see me?" Castiel asked.
"Yeah listen.. I need something."
"Anything you wish."
"I need you to take me to see Sam."
"No." Castiel said firmly.
"Why?"
"I don't think that's wise."
"Listen man I need to talk to him about something, just let me out of here to talk to him for a few minutes." Dean pleaded.
"You can go anywhere you want, I'll accompany you." Castiel offered.
"Take me to see Sam then."
"But there. You cannot go there."
Dean got irritated. "Fine, I'm leaving then." He went to leave through the grand entrance when Castiel spoke from behind him.
"Through what door?"
Dean turned to look towards Cas in confusion, though when he looked back at the door it was gone. It was another detailed wall. He went to turn towards Castiel again and he was gone as well. Dean stomped in frustration.
As time passed trapped in the the room, Dean grew restless. He needed to get out and get to Sam. Sam needed him. He picked up one of the taller and sturdier statues. Feeling the weight of it he started hammering into the wall. Attempting the break his way out of the room. Each time he hit the wall and made the slightest bit of damage, the wall would magically repair itself. There truly was no escape.
Dean turned around to find Zachariah yet again. "Let me out of here!"
"I told you it's too dangerous. There's demons on the prowl."
"I've been getting my ass kicked all year by shit, now you care about my saftey? You're lying about something." Dean squinted at the angel, "I want to see my brother."
"That's.. ill advised."
"Man I'm so sick of your stupid riddles and your smug fat face. What the hell is going on? Why can't I see Sam? How am I gonna gank Lilith?"
Zachariah chuckled a sigh, "You aren't." Dean looked to be in disbelief. "You won't be killing Lilith."
"What?"
"Lilith will be breaking the final seal. The trains left the station." Zachariah moved towards one of the couches to sit down.
Dean didn't understand why this was happening. Why wouldn't they kill Lilith and stop her from breaking the seal. "Me and Sam.. We can stop.." he cut himself off from talking as he looked at the smug expression on Zachariah's face. The gears coming to a full stop in his head in realization. "You don't want it to be stopped? Do you?"
"Nope. Never did." The angel states bluntly. "The end is neigh. The apocalypse is coming, kiddo, to a theater near you" he smiled.
"Then what was all that shit about saving seals? Why have us do that?"
"Our grunts on the ground. They don't know the whole truth. We can't tell them all the big plans. There'd be a huge rebellion on our hands. Think rationally about it. Would we really let 65 seals get broken unless senior management wanted it that way?"
Dean felt defeated. His whole purpose for saving the world these past few months have been for nothing. He put aside his sister and let these angels into his life for nothing. The world was going to end anyways. "But why?"
"Why not? The apocalypse! We like our chances. When our side wins, and we will. It's paradise on earth. Now what's not to like about that?"
"What about all the people during your little pissing contest? What happens to them?"
"Well you can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs" Zachariah stood up as he spoke about killing off millions of people apathetically.
"What about Sam?" Dean still needed to get out of this room. If Dean was trapped here then what was Sam doing. "Sam will stop Lilith."
"Sam has a part to play. His part is very important. Might need some nudging into the right direction but we will make sure he plays it."
Dean stepped more into Zachariah's face not liking how he spoke of his plans for his brother. "What the hell does that mean? What will you do to him?"
"Sam, Sam, Sam… Forget about him yeah? You have larger concerns. Why else would I be confiding in you?" Zachariah put a hand on Deans shoulder as if they have been having a bonding experience with this chat. "We weren't lying about your destiny Dean. The righteous man! We just omitted a few details.. But you are chosen! You will stop it. Just not Lilith or the apocalypse."
"Which means..?"
Zachariah looks towards a painting in an amazement. It was as if he could already he the future. "Lucifer. You will stop Lucifer."
Dean looked up at the same painting which appeared to be Satan being slayed by the archangel Michael. Dean felt like he could have a panic attack any moment now. This shouldn't be his destiny. He was just some guy who hunts monsters. Not the big time biblical junk. None of this stuff should be real. Why would HE be chosen for this. What could he do? Zachariah continued "And when it's over, your rewards will be unimaginable. Peace, happiness.. 2 virgins and 70 sluts." He pat Dean on the back laughing as Dean continued to stare at him in disbelief.
Zachariah started to walk off when Dean called out to him "Tell me something. Where is God in all of this?"
"God? God has left the building." Zachariah said with his back facing Dean. Then he left to leave Dean alone again.
Dean kept trying to call Sam but the calls wouldn't go through. He wouldn't stop trying though. He wouldn't give up. He knows there's no escape to this room but he wasn't about to give up on contacting his brother.
As he attempted to reach his brother again Castiel showed up by himself. "You cannot reach him Dean. You are outside your coverage zone."
"What are you gonna do to Sam?" Dean asked the angel.
"Nothing." Castiel stepped forward so he's facing Dean. "He's gonna do it to himself."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dean asked. Castiel remained silent. "Oh right right.. You gotta toe the company line."
Deans voice got lower now, untrusting of the room. "What's going to happen to my sister if something happens to my brother or me?"
"Dean. I don't understand what you are asking." Cas looked at him with a puzzled look.
"The last time you spoke of her, you made it seem like she was a monster. If at the end of all this something were to happen to Sam or I.. What are you going to do to her?"
Castiel stayed silent. The silence unnerved Dean. "Cas man, I need you to promise me something. Please. If something goes wrong I need you to try to heal her. If something were to try to happen to my brother or me then there is no one to fix her. You are an angel you can heal her with mojo crap. I know you can."
Castiel tilted his head in confusion. "If she's hurt then why didn't you ask to have her healed before? What is her condition?"
"I'm not a beggar Cas. Winchesters can handle things on their own. For what's wrong with her.. I'm not entirely sure to be honest. It looks like a demon put her in some type of coma. Man I've done everything you asked, I don't ask for a lot."
Castiel nodded in agreement "I will."
"If Lucifer rises you have to wake her Cas. We will need her more than ever."
"Lucifer will rise Dean. I'm sorry this is destiny it must happen."
Dean went to punch Castiel in the jaw. The angel took no damage but Dean definitely broke something in his hand. "You stupid sorry son of a bitch! I don't care about destiny! This cannot happen! We have to stop Sam from killing Lilith, millions of people will die if the apocalypse happens. Do you not care about the lives of innocents?"
"What's so worth saving? I see nothing but pain inside of you. I see your guilt and your anger. I see your confusion. In paradise all will be forgiven. You'll be at peace."
"Shove your peace up your ass. This is simple Cas! Stop this good solider bullshit! There is a right and there is a wrong here, and you know it. You almost helped me once. Help me now. Please."
Castiel pondered for a moment. He knows he shouldn't obey heaven and his orders. Though Dean was right. The lives of too many innocents to count are at stake now. This now truly affects the fate of the earth. He must disobey heaven and help the older Winchester. Looking towards Dean he asked "What would you have me do?"
"Get me to Sam so we can stop this before it's too late!"
Castiel hesitated, "If I do that, we will all be hunted. We will all be killed. Do you understand?"
Dean's expression was more serious than ever now, "If there's anything worth dying for… it's this." He waited for Cas to make the next move to help him. The angel made no move or expression that said he would lift a finger to do anything. Castiel was fearful of heavens wrathful fist coming down on them if they rebelled against their orders.
Dean started pacing the room in anger, "You soulless son of a bitch. Why do you care about dying? You are dead already. We're done."
Castiel tried to make an effort to calm Dean down, "Dean-"
"We're done." Dean turned his back to Cas cutting the angel off from talking further. Slightly turning his head to view the rest of the room, Dean saw that Castiel had left him alone once again.

Sam had arrived at St.Mary's Convent. It was the night of the showdown and he was with Ruby. He felt confident but nervous. Sam was hyping up for this for so long. Though he was slightly off now that thoughts of his family came pooling back to mind.
"It's time Sam. This happening or what?" Ruby cut off Sam from his train of thoughts.
"Give me another minute to think."
Ruby rolled her eyes and put her hand on her hip. She didn't have time for this. "Sam.."
"I said Give me a damn minute Ruby!" He snapped at her. His nerves had him on edge.
"Hurry up then.." she said, more so to herself. Ruby was cradling a knife in her hands.
Sam pulled out his cellphone to check to see if he had any missed calls from Dean again. There was a voicemail from him. He clicked to listen and put the phone to his ear, nervous by what it could say because of their last encounter.
Dean called him a freak, a monster. He said he's done saving him. He told him if he ever tried to go near Lily again he would kill him and he doesn't deserve to save her. Dean said they could never go back to how it was. As Sam listened he felt somber. Tears welled in his eyes as he listened to the rage behind his older brothers voice. Listening to him degrade him and give up on him. Discard him and threaten him. Listen to him as he threatened to keep him away from his sister.
Sam fought back every emotion from Deans words and swallowed them. He didn't need this. Once he stops the final seal from breaking and kills Lilith, Dean will understand why Sam is doing this. Once Lillian is okay again Dean will understand. Dean will be able to forgive Sam in time. This is all happening for a reason. For the greater good. Things might seem bad for Sam now but the outcome will be glorious, he's saving everyone and Dean will be so proud of him. Lily will be okay and he will be able to see her awake and smiling lively at him again. It will all be worth it.
Sam turned towards Ruby nodding towards her in gesture that he was ready. "Finally." She sighed out restless to get everything over with.
She took the car keys out of her pocket and turned on her heels to open the trunk to reveal the hog tied demon they had brought with them. Ruby brought out the knife she was fiddling with ready to drain the demon of all their blood as they struggled against the ropes.

Dean kept pacing the room. He was really getting his steps in today. For what felt like hours of walking in circles uninterrupted after his encounter with Castiel. He then was disrupted when a hand roughly grabbed his shoulder.
Dean was thrown clumsily into a wall and faced with Castiel. He was surprised by the sudden outburst of aggression coming from the angel but before he could protest Castiel covered his mouth with his hand and drew his angel blade.
Dean got a silent understanding to stay quiet as he watched Cas lift his sleeve to reveal his bare arm and drag the blade across it. As the blood dripped down his arm and onto the floor, Castiel dipped into his open wound and started drawing a circle with symbols onto the wall that were foreign to Deans mind.
Just then as Castiel finished his sigil, Zachariah appeared in the room. "Castiel! Do you mind explaining to me what the hell you are doing?"
Castiel did not say a word. He looked in Zachariah's direction as he slapped the sigil with the hand covered in blood. Immediately upon contact with the wall, a bright light appeared in the room and Zachariah was gone.
"He won't be gone for too long. We have to find Sam now." Castiel was the first to speak.
"Where is he?" Dean asked.
"I don't know, but I know who does." Castiel said as he pulled out the demon killing knife and handed it to Dean. "We have to stop him. From killing Lilith."
"But Lilith's gonna break the finial seal."
"No Dean. Lilith is the final seal! When she dies the end will begin" Castiel said. Dean looked at him with wide eyes. "We have to go now Dean."
"Where Cas?"
"Chuck. The prophet, he will know where Sam is." Castiel grabbed Deans shoulder and they flew out of the beautiful room. Dean closed his eyes to brace himself. Even if flying is as fast as a second he did not like it. He opened his eyes again and was in Chucks living room.
Chuck was walking around on the phone with what sounded like a sex line operator. Sounded like he was trying to sway himself cheaper prices and his suave wasn't any good. Cas and Dean stood and waited for him to notice their presence awkwardly.
When Chuck finally turned and saw them he was confused and anxious by their arrival to his home. "Wait.. This isn't supposed to happen." He hung up the phone and brought his attention on the two guests in his home.
"Chuck this is important. We need to know where my brother is right now." Dean demanded.
・゚: *・゚*
Sam was amped up and ready now. He had drained the demon of all their blood and he had drank as much from Ruby as he could without taking too much. He felt stronger than he has ever felt in his life. He felt like he could do anything.
As soon as the blood had reached his lips, all the sadness from his brothers words were forgotten. It was game time. The show down was happening now. He was going to kill Lilith. He was going to save the world. He was going to save Lily. As he walked down the corridor of the convent with Ruby trailing behind him, he felt he oozed with confidence. Nothing could stop him now.
・゚: *・゚*
Chuck had his most recent work all printed out. He had given it to Dean to read over. It was titled "Lucifer Rising" Dean got the location as he flipped over the pages.
"St.Mary's? This is a convent?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, but you guys aren't supposed to be there. You aren't in this story." Chuck pleaded.
"Yeah, well we are making it up as we go.." Castiel replied.
"Yeah, we are in it now buddy." Dean smirked.
A harsh sound appeared out of thin air, one similar to when Dean was raised from hell. Alongside with a bright light. The house started shaking violently. Chuck recognized the phenomenon as he proclaimed "Oh man! Not this again!" He cradled his head in his hands.
"It's the archangel! I'll hold him off!" Castiel yelled over the noise towards Dean. "Just stop Sam!" He grabbed Deans head and pushed him back. Dean closed his eyes again to brace himself for what was next. Once he opened them again he was in an entirely different setting.
Castiel stayed behind with Chuck. Ready to hold off the archangel protecting the prophet. As Raphael reigned heavenly fire on Castiel, the lesser angel didn't have a chance to begin with. The archangel tore through Castiel, every atom of his grace was blown to bits. All that was once the angel Castiel, was gone without a trace.
・゚: *・゚*
Sam walked through the doors of the heart of the Convent as he saw the blonde demon standing in the center of the room. Ruby was right behind him. He could sense her power with the blood flowing the his veins. Though he knew he was stronger than her now.
Immediately without hesitation he pushed his hand out and used his mind to throw her across the room. Lilith flew as her head hit the alter in the back of the room. Sam heard the doors behind him close but paid no mind to it. Lilith was going to die.
Lilith was sitting on the ground below the alter with her arms pinned against it as Sam approached her. "I've been waiting for this… for a very long time."
Lilith was not fighting back. She was calm and collected "Give me your best shot then."
Sam raised his hand towards her direction once again and started using his powers. A bright light erupted throughout her whole body. She was burning away from the inside out. Lilith was trying her hardest to not show any sign of struggle, it was obvious, but she cried out in pain as the light engulfed her body.
From a distance Deans voice could be heard. "Sam! Sam!"
Sam wavered for a moment but he continued. The light of torment getting brighter as it encased the demons body.
"Sam! Sammy!" There was a banging on the door.
Sam stopped for a moment. Everything felt as if it was in slow motion. Why was he hearing Dean all of a sudden? Sam turned towards the door lost and confused. Could Dean really be here?
"Dean?" Sam asked out loud.
"What are you waiting for! Idiot! The time is now!" Ruby was screaming her head off with wide eyes urging Sam to continue.
"Sam!" Dean could be heard over Ruby's screams and the banging on the door.
"Sam!! Do It!" Ruby raged on.
Sam was lost now. He looked around confused. Unsure of his next move. Everything was leading to this. As he was contemplating he started to hear laughter now. Turning his head forward he faced Lilith who had a big giggling grin on her face.
"You turned yourself into a freak, a monster, and now you're not gonna bite?" Lilith said through a fit of laughter. "That's honestly so adorable."

Castiel woke up in front of Bobby Singers house. He was laying in the gravel of the junkyard between two cars. Opening his eyes confused as to being alive, for a moment he took a deep breath.
Standing up he brushed himself off and took in his surroundings. Eyes wide and staring into the night sky, Castiel understands now. God chose him. God brought him back to life. He didn't just leave and abandon all creation. He wants him to help Dean Winchester. Cas made Dean a promise and he will fulfill it. Castiel truly does have a heavenly purpose.
Castiel entered Bobby's home. The hunter appeared to be sleeping at the time being which made things easier for the angel. He went upstairs and headed towards the room where he felt the power surge from.
Opening the door and entering the bedroom he found a woman laying peacefully in bed. Her hands rested at her sides and her eyes were closed gracefully. Cas remembered Dean said she was in some type of coma. He sat next to her on the bed and pressed two fingers to her forehead as he braced himself with the power that came with the touch. He entered her mind.
Lillian was chatting with the man she's become so comfortable with and fond of. They bickered here and there but he was in a good mood lately and she was reeling in it. As she was about to speak she felt a pull in the back of her head. As if someone was pulling her head back in a direction away from there. Her brows knotted in confusion as she clutched her the back of her head.
"What's wrong?" he asked her.
"I don't know. It feels like I'm being pulled on my head?" She gripped her head tighter.
His eyes went wide at her statement. "You have to go. Someone else is here." He could feel the new presence now.
"What? What does that mean?!"
He sighed at her stupidity, she should know exactly what he is saying. "Someone is in your mind right now. You need to go to a different place in your head. They can't see me."
Understanding but annoyed she nodded. "Wait! I don't know how to go anywhere else."
He rolled his eyes at her feeling impatient, "We don't have all day. Think of a place you want to go to, it can be made up or someplace you've been to. Transport your subconscious there. They will find you. They just can't find me!" He shoved her away.
"Fine! Fine!" Lillian thought long and hard. She then found herself opening her eyes to be in a motel she's stayed at before. One of the nicer ones she was more fond of. 'That was easier than I thought it would be.'
She sat down in a chair in front of the window. She sat in the chair facing the door because what if they walk in the door? Drumming her fingers on the table she waited in an anxious anticipation. Lillian truly didn't have to wait long because after a few seconds a man with short black hair in a trench coat appeared.
"Are you Dean Winchesters sister?" he asked.
"Who are you?" She questioned. No way someone violates her head without introducing themselves first.
"I apologize for the rude intrusion. I am Castiel. I'm an angel of the lord. If you are Dean Winchesters sister, your brother sent me to help you. You are in a coma."
Lillian was visibly uncomfortable. An angel????!!!! The thing that she has been avoiding has literally walked into her head. Just what was her brother doing with angels anyways. "I am Lillian Winchester." She squinted her eyes at him. "What is my brothers doing with angels?"
"I believe that is a long story. How did you get into your current state? Dean says it was a demon."
Lillian chuckled at the mention of a demon doing this to her, "No, no. This was the work of a witch. I don't really know what spell it is."
Castiel squinted at her in seriousness as her stepped forward. Placing a hand on the table to steady himself he got down to her level and in her face "What are you?" he tilted his head as he asked perplexed.
"If I tell you then you will kill me." Lillian was serious.
Castiel was puzzled still. Lillian sighed. As much as she enjoyed her slumber, it was most certainly time to wake up and if this angel could wake her up, she needed him. "How much do you trust my brothers?"
"I trust Dean."
"Does Dean trust you?"
Castiel thought to himself then nodded slightly. "If Dean can trust you then I need you to make me a promise. If I tell you what I am, you will tell absolutely no one. Not heaven. Most certainly not my brothers, yeah?" Lillian asked.
Castiel nodded in agreement. He can do this and deal with the repercussions later.
"I'm a nephilim."
His eyes looked like they were going to shoot out of his skull. He stepped back a moment. Then he stepped forward as if he was looking at her in a new light. Fully taking her in. "You are a nephilim" he sighed out. "How is this possible. Who is your angelic sire?"
"Nuh uh. You don't get those details. Now help me wake up."
"Lillian, I can't keep this from your brothers forever." Castiel looked at her apologetically.
"I will tell them when I'm ready." Honestly her brothers now knowing angels are real makes it a bit easier. "Wake up time now?" She asked while clapping her hands.
"Yes, right. Lillian." Castiel looked at her as she stood up to face him. His blue eyes met her green ones. "Open your eyes."
"What?" She was confused. That's too simple.
He grabbed her face and got louder, more aggressive, "You need to open your eyes! Connect with your physical body. Open them!"

Lilith's words enraged Sam. The voices of Dean and Ruby were lost to Sam's mind. All he could focus on was how she called him a monster, a freak. The rage consumed him so much his pupils spanned out over his eyes, turning them fully black. Sam was more demon than human now.
Reaching out he used his powers again, amped with anger. She was fully lit up with a burning light. Lilith was so engorged with pain that the only sound that could come out of her was a long raspy gasp. The light of her demonic essence fading away kept going as she gasped for air. Sam was reveling in it. Eventually the light went out for good and Lilith dropped dead on the floor of the church.
Blood started pooling from Lilith's still corpse. It was forming around in an intricate symbol on the ground. "What the hell?" Sam didn't understand what was going on.
"I can't believe it." Ruby said in disbelief.
"What's going on?" Sam said in absolute confusion as he watched the blood dance around the floor to form a pattern around them.
"It was all a little touch and go there for a while but.. I mean you did it." Ruby continued talking nonsense to Sam.
"What? What did I do?"
"You opened the door and now he's free at last." Ruby had the happiest look on her face. She looked as if her own paradise was about to start.
"No. No. Lilith, I stopped her, I killed her!" Sam pleaded, trying to make sense of the situation.
"And it is written that the first demon shall be the last seal. You bust her open Sam." Ruby was smiling in satisfaction at how the events played out. Sam was rubbing his head stressed about what to do next. Stressed about how badly he screwed up. "Now guess who's coming to dinner" Ruby continued.
"Oh my god." Sam was pacing the room, whispering to himself in disbelief.
"Guess again…"
Ruby was manically talking and rambling on about how her plan went on for so long and no knew. How only her and Lilith knew. How well she tricked Sam. Sam couldn't believe he fell for it. He couldn't believe he didn't trust Dean.
"You lying bitch!" Sam yelled out at Ruby. He attempted to use his powers on her but found himself unable to and instead was caught in pain.
Ruby stood watching Sam's pathetic struggle. She was unfazed. "Don't hurt yourself Sammy, it's useless. You used up all your juice on the boss."
"The blood.. You poisoned me." Sam accused Ruby.
"No.." She started walking towards him. "It wasn't the blood. It was you, and your choices. I only gave you the options. You chose the right path, every time. You never needed the feather to fly, you had it in you the whole time dumbo."
Sam looked up at her with worry. He felt fear. Was this truly all him? Was this all on him and him alone? Is everything Sam's fault? Is there absolutely no one else to blame? "I know how it is to see it now.. but this is a miracle. All the things Azazel and Lilith did just to get you here… You were the only one who could do it."
Sam had enough of this. He couldn't. He didn't want to be this, whatever she was saying. He didn't want to be Sam Winchester right now. "Why me?" he asked while fighting tears.
Ruby reached down and held his face, "because, it had to be you. It always had to be you. You saved us. You set him free. He will be grateful. He'll repay you in ways you can't even imagine, Sammy."
Before Ruby could continue there was a loud crash at the door as Dean broke in. He walked in full of rage, clear as day. Demon knife in hand. Ruby stood up ready to face the elder Winchester. "You're too late."
"I don't care" he spat at her. As Dean inched close enough to where Sam and Ruby were, Sam grabbed Ruby from behind holding her in place. Dean grunted as her stabbed her in the abdomen with the demon knife. Full of built up anger, he twisted it in her gut, satisfied to watch the demon die. Once he pulled the knife out Ruby's corpse fell to the ground limply.
As soon as Ruby was dead and the brothers were alone Sam felt he could finally be one with his emotions. He choked on his sobs as he made eye contact with his brother for the first time since he escaped Bobby's.
"I'm so sorry."
Before Dean could respond or Sam could say anything else, the ground started to shake. A thick bright light erupted from the center of the symbol that was traced with Lilith's blood.
Sam and Dean grabbed onto each other as the light started to get wider and brighter. "Sammy, let's go now.."
"Dean, he's coming."

"Open them!"
Lillian fluttered her eyes open. Looking around the room she recognized as her room in Bobby's house. She also recognized Castiel sitting on the bed next to her right.
"You awoke quickly" Castiel broke the silence.
"Yeah, guess so." She squinted her eyes at him.
"You need to find your brothers."
"Why?" Lillian was confused by his sudden demand.
Castiel looked at her very serious now "Lucifer has risen."
