Chapter 6
The seed bullets scattered everywhere. And some of them even flew towards the place where Frisk was at. "Wow, I didn't know that he had this kind of power. He is frightening indeed. Now, I have to hide somewhere." Frisk thought. Frisk then quickly hid behind a ruined piece of wall. The wall was hit by the small sized seed bullets and fell down. Frisk barely managed to escape from the wall, which otherwise would have crushed him.
"That was too close. Phew. If I was even a bit slower, I would have been crushed by the wall." Frisk thought as he watched the battle between Daz, Dolo and Flowey. The smoke that came from the blazing fire made it hard to see anything. "I can't really see anything from here. I should go to a better place." Frisk thought.
Just as Frisk was about to go to another place, He saw three figures come out of the fire unscathed. They went to an area where there was no fire.
"Great job." Flowey praised Dolo. "Not bad. Not bad at all. That was a good move."
"Why, thank you." Dolo said sarcastically. "You are not bad either."
"That shield at the last minute really saved us, Dolo." Daz said in a relieved voice. "But don't let your guard down. Stay alert. Flowey could be toying with us."
"I know." Dolo replied. "Just so you know, I have more tricks up my sleeve as well."
Just as the small seed bullets were about to hit Daz and Dolo, Dolo summoned a big shield that had a frog emblem on it. All the seed bullets hit the shield and there was no damage to the shield at all.
"You did well this time." Flowey seemed to be pleased. "Looks like I can have a bit of fun here. Please entertain me."
Flowey summoned small seed bullets and threw them at Daz and Dolo. They easily dodged all the seed bullets. Then they both charged straight towards Flowey. Flowey grinned as they both got closer to him. "Why is he grinning?" Daz thought. Daz and Dolo both noticed that the seed bullets that they dodged were charging at them from behind. But it was too late for either of them to do anything. They both got hit by most of the seed bullets that charged at them from behind. They could not focus on their attack and failed it.
They were both bleeding from all the cuts that were made by the seed bullets. Some seed bullets were stuck on their bodies. A few moments later, the seed bullets that were stuck on their bodies disappeared and they started to bleed from the stab wounds as well.
"Oh no, they're in trouble!" Frisk thought. Frisk wanted to go and help the both of them, but he knew that he lacked the power to do so. So, all he could do was watch the fight. Frisk did not know what to do. Frisk was scared to death.
"Is that all you got?" Flowey said. "If so, then I am utterly disappointed. You both aren't good enough to be even a warm-up. C'mon don't disappoint me. Come at me with everything you got!"
"Huff…Huff…Huff…." Daz was panting. "How could this happen? How could he control the seed bullets like that?"
"Huff… Huff… Huff…." Dolo was panting too. "The seal is obviously broken. It is completely released. We can't win against him. Not like this."
Dolo realized that Flowey was just toying around with them for his own 'entertainment.' Dolo was trying his best to stop himself from shaking uncontrollably.
Flowey summoned some seed bullets yet again. And then he attacked both Daz and Dolo with those. This time, Daz and Dolo were not able to dodge most of the seed bullets because they were already wounded. This added to their injuries and increased their bleeding.
"Looks like I was mistaken after all." Flowey said in a disappointed voice. "This isn't fun. I won't prolong your suffering. I will end it all for both of you in my next attack. Say your prayers."
"What are the others doing?" Daz said in a frustrated voice. "They would normally come if things went out of hand like this."
"They probably are busy renewing the seal." Dolo replied. "We just have to hold out until they renew the seal."
Flowey then summoned three huge seeds. "Oh no, this looks bad! We can't fight back! There's no coming back after getting hit with that.!" Daz thought as he struggled to move. Both Daz and Dolo knew that if they were hit with any of the seeds, they would die.
Frisk was getting worried about the fly and frog duo as they faced Flowey. Frisk was shaking because of fear. "I never knew I could feel like this! This is a real battle of life and death! If you lose, you die." Frisk thought.
"We will never go down without a fight." Dolo reassured Daz. "If we are going to die, we will die fighting!"
"You're right, Dolo." Daz said in a hopeful voice. "We should never give up no matter what. Let's do that"
"Wait." Dolo gave Daz a serious look. "Are you sure we should do it right here and right now? We have never tried it before. It could go wrong."
"Yeah." Daz replied. "I know it has a lot of risks, but we don't really have much of a choice here, do we?"
Flowey then fired all the three huge seeds right at Daz and Dolo. Frisk, who was watching the fight from a high place, was getting worried about Daz and Dolo. But then, Frisk saw a big creature with the body of a frog and the wings of a fly holding a sword charging at the three huge seeds. Frisk looked closely and saw that this creature was a combination attack that was made by Daz and Dolo.
"Behold!" Both Daz and Dolo yelled out. "This creature is the form of our strongest attack!"
"How ridiculous!" Flowey laughed. "What can a feeble creature do? Now, die, you stupid clowns!"
When the three huge seeds got close enough to Daz and Dolo, they used their summoned creature to put the sword that it was holding in front of the three big seeds in order to deflect them. There was a huge clash when the three big seeds and the sword met each other. The clash was so intense that it released big shockwaves. It was a power struggle from there.
Frisk was very surprised to see this kind of fight happening. "Wow there are even shockwaves. What a fight. These monsters are quite powerful." Frisk thought. The clash lasted for a few seconds. The sword was broken and then, the seed bullets hit the frog-like creature that was holding the sword, completely destroyed and turned into dust. "So those seeds were more powerful than Daz and Dolo's combination attack?" Frisk thought.
The three seeds then flew towards Daz and Dolo. They knew that they already lost the battle. ""This is bad! What should I do?" Daz thought.
"To think that he could defeat our combination attack." Dolo said. "He is too strong for us to handle."
The three seeds exploded when they got close enough to Daz and Dolo. This explosion covered a wide area, and made a huge cloud of dust.
"See?" Flowey said, filled with arrogance. "I told you that both of you were going to die meaninglessly. Nice try playing the hero."
Frisk was getting worried about the two of them. Frisk waited eagerly for the dust cloud to settle. "That was an intense explosion. There is no way that those two could be alive after getting hit with that." Frisk thought.
When the dust finally settled, Frisk saw things clearly. There was a huge broken shield. This time, it was around 4 times bigger than the shield that Dolo used. And this shield was broken into pieces. Frisk saw both Daz and Dolo lying on the ground behind the broken shield, with blood all over them. They surprisingly had red coloured blood, the same blood as humans do.
"How stubborn the both of you are." Flowey said. "If you hadn't summoned that shield, you would have been dead. Well, it doesn't matter if you aren't dead after taking that attack. Looks like you both don't have enough soul energy to launch a single attack. What can you do now?"
Flowey then summoned three huge seed bullets that were even bigger than the bullets he used earlier. Daz and Dolo were terrified as they looked at Flowey. "This is it… If any of those bullets hit us, it would be an instant death for us both… We're going to die here. I'm sorry, Toriel, we did all we could to protect this human from Flowey. I hope that he was able to escape safely. " Daz thought. They both closed their eyes as Flowey slowly approached them along with his 3 huge seed bullets.
Frisk, who was watching the whole thing, was worried about Daz and Dolo. He wanted to save the both of them, but he was already aware that he did not have a significant ability to fight a monster like Flowey. He was shaking uncontrollably out of fear. "Is watching all I can do? I must do something about this! If I am going to be serious about joining the Special Forces, I should face opponents who are stronger than me and fight until the bitter end." Frisk thought as he picked up a piece of broken wall that he was able to fit in the palm of his right hand. Frisk then hurried towards Daz and Dolo.
"Look how pathetic the both of you are." Flowey said, looking down on Daz and Dolo. "Some tragic 'heroes' you are. THIS is what happens when you try to be a hero."
"Say what you… want, Flowey." Daz said proudly. "Our objective was not to defeat you in battle, our objective was to protect someone."
"And that's why you are pathetic." Flowey said while laughing. "There is only one rule in this world. And it's kill or be killed. If you can't kill your opponent, then you are the one who will be killed."
"And thanks to us, you will never get a hold of that human." Dolo said. "You won't have your way this time!"
"Farewell, clown duo." Flowey said, hysterically laughing. "Enjoy your last moments."
Flowey launched the three huge seed bullets towards Daz and Dolo. They could not even move an inch as the bullets came closer to them. Both of them panicked at the thought of dying as neither of them wanted to die.
Both Daz and Dolo noticed that the shield was their last bit of soul energy. They knew that their souls were broken. They saw that the tips of their fingers were slowly turning into dust. So, they knew that moving around would put them at a bigger risk of their souls getting completely destroyed. They had no choice but to stay down. They cursed their inability to do anything in the situation. They had to accept their approaching deaths. They were both in despair.
Frisk could not take it anymore and started running towards the three of them at full speed. He did not want Daz and Dolo to die, so he felt like he should go in and save them. "I hope I make it on time." Frisk thought. The bullets were closing in and Frisk's anxiety increased as time passed. Could Frisk save the both of them?
