The old gate creaked from the rust and vines as Coraline pushed it open, steeping aside so the cowardly trio could follow as they looked around the garden.

"Like, this place is REALLY giving me the creeps now unlike before…" Shaggy gulped.

The once lively and bright place was now dark and withered. The flowers bent as they took a brown color, as if dying as the hearts on the stone wall played music off key and cringing to hear.

Coraline exclaimed in dismay, "Ugh!"

"Freaky…" Courage choked out in a frightened manner.

"Row! Rhat the?-" Feeling a bite on his ankle, Scooby looked and saw the snap dragons chirping angrily at him.

"Stupid plants!" Coraline started to stomp on them.

Shaggy then noticed the blue flowers come out from the bricks that opened it mouth, he gasped realizing they are after Courage and it is about to grabbed him.

Shaggy yelled, "Little puppy dude! Look out!"

The giant blue snap dragons emerging from the stone wall behind him until they bit and wound around Courage's body and started to drag him, making him scream.

"HELP!" Courage screamed frantically.

"ROURAGE!" Scooby cried fearfully, he manage to grabbed Courage's paw, "Ruddy, I gotcha!"

Coraline and Shaggy grabbed the pink beagle puppy and tried to pull him free but the blue flowers seemed to be stronger.

"Get if off me! Get it off me!" Courage bellowed pitifully.

The flowers tried to pulled him from what is to be seemed a stone brick monster.

As the kids and puppies screamed, it tried to pull on Courage with it's vines trying to eat him. Courage howled in a petrified manner.

"Holy cow!" Coraline exclaimed.

The kids and Scooby try their best to win an intense game of tug of war with the monster. Despite their best, the well monster is winning.

Courage was screaming his lungs out and crying desperately for help.

"Hang on Courage!" Coraline encouraged, holding onto Courage tightly.

Shaggy then realized something as he said, "Man I am so stupid!" he quickly let go and runs off.

"Raggy, where are you going!?" Scooby yelled horrified as the vines kept pulling on harder on getting its prey from the kids and Scooby.

Shaggy's eyes set on the fallen bag, he grabbed the bag and dug through it grabbing the garden pliers, "Harvest time!"

The boy ran back quickly and then used the garden pliers snipping the vines off of the snap dragons. Scooby hugged the little pink beagle puppy close to him as the plants screamed in pain before retreating into the stone wall.

"Rare you okay?" Scooby asked, cradling the cowardly pink puppy's head in his chest.

Courage nodded still shaken up from almost being eaten.

Suddenly, the sound of buzzing filled their ears, looking up in alarm they saw what looked like bloated wasps fly towards them.

"Stop!" Coraline yelled out as one almost stung her in warning.

Shaggy waved his arms out as much as he could as the wasps stopped and took the green stone from the ground and started flying off, "Like dudes! The stone!"

Scooby stood up and ran into the bridge, keeping his eye on the wasps as he grabbed the bag and threw it, hitting a bullseye as the wasps stopped their buzzing and fell to the ground.

The four friends walked over bridge, they stared at the sand leaking out of the wasps' bodies before Courage picked up the stone, "Why steal this?"

"Riss Spink did say it might help," Scooby commented, when Coraline looked over, "Raybe she was just taking precautions?"

"Probably..." Courage nodded in agreement as he raised the stone to his left eye, pulling away when he saw that everting was black and white, "Wow!" he pulled it to his eye again and looked around slowly, stopping when he saw a red sphere not too far from them.

"That must be it!" Courage smiled.

That quickly diminished in fear as the lights of the MECHANICAL praying mantis, the Other Father, who was now somewhat of a pumpkin was attached to the gloves hands.

"Sorry...! So sorry...!" his distorted voice called out as the hand made him pull a lever so the praying mantis could stick a leg into the kids and puppies making them all scream with terror, leaving dents and prints when it missed.

"Rhoa!" Scooby yelped as she dodged another swing, gasping when Courage took his paw and pulled him behind him as they backed away from the Other Father and onto the bridge.

"Mother making me! Don't wAnNa hurt yoU!" the praying mantis clawed and stabbed into the bridge, creating a hole as it fell though. The Other Father kicked away the gloved hand on his right hand and pulled off the handle of the level, holding his arm out in urgency, "TAkE it!"

Coraline ran over and snatched the handle from his hand before it was too late, watching as the Other Father sank into the water below with nothing but a waving hand of goodbye and a gurgle.

The garden around them no longer had any color, turning gray and it cracked like stone as it's losses it purpose.

Coraline panted, looking down the handle as it twinkled, the little ghost boy showing his face, "Bless you, miss. You found me! But there's two eyes still lost!"

Coraline only nodded as the ghost boy's face faded, "Don't worry, we're getting the hang of it."

Courage looked up and his eyes widened. His heart thudded against his chest like a drum while his breathing sped up, "Guys!..Look!"

Coraline, Shaggy and Scooby turned to Courage followed his line of sight, Coraline's expression hardening with Shaggy and Scooby shaking with immense fear as a shadow started to fill the moon above.

Scooby swallowed hard against the sick feeling in his stomach, "Re better hurry! RI don't think we have much time!"
