Once again, the only thing Bell could see was darkness, and the feeling of nothingness tingled against his skin. Just like the first time, Bell was quickly thrown out of the void, and in an instant, he could see the walls of the dungeon. Taking a quick look around, Bell realized that he was in the same place and in the same position as he was before he went to the Library. Now all he needed to do was find out if time had passed while he was gone.

After about 20 minutes of running and a few fights with monsters along the way, Bell had finally reached the gigantic staircase leading from the 1st floor of the dungeon to the 1st floor of Babel Tower. As he went up the staircase, Bell realized there were a multitude of stairs from other Adventurers; it didn't take him long to figure out why. As he looked around, he realized two things: One is that his shirt was missing; he didn't know when it happened, but sometime between the minotaur attack and his trip back from the Library, he lost his shirt. The second thing was the arm he lost; it was pale, like really pale; it looked as if Bell had dipped his entire arm in white paint, and the nails of the arm were also about an inch long. All in all, Bell stood out a lot, but he decided that right now his attire didn't matter and that he had to head to guild.

It didn't take long for Bell to reach the guild after exiting the dungeon. After entering the doors of the guild and taking a few seconds to look around, Bell eventually spotted the person he was looking for: a female half-elf with a brown-haired bob cut, emerald green eyes, and a guild advisor uniform that did nothing to hide her curves.

"Ms. Eina!" Bell shouted across the guild hall with a wave to the half-elf.

"Oh, Bell," she responded before turning to see the teen. Once she saw him, her whole demeanor changed. "Oh, Bell," she repeated, this time with an edge to her tone.

"What time is it?" Bell asked, not realizing the face that Eina was currently making.

"Bell Cranel, you will come with me!" Eina yelled as she grabbed him by the ear and dragged him into a private, noise-proofed room. As she closed the door to the room, she started berating Bell with questions. "Where were you? Why were you so late? What were you doing? Why do you look like that? Do you even KNOW what time it is?!" She asked while shaking his head back and forth.

"Too many questions… Please calm down." Bell could see birds swirling around his head.

After taking a few minutes to calm down, Eina pointed over to the couch and asked Bell to sit before she continued her questions.

"...Where were you?..." She asked again, this time much quieter than before.

"I was at a Library." Bell answered, though he knew he couldn't reveal the whole truth, no one would believe him if he said he got transported out of the dungeon and into the Library.

"You went to a library instead of the dungeon?" Eina asked, confusion showing across her face.

"I went there after the dungeon." Bell lied

"Is that also why you were late?"

"Yes." He lied; every time he did, he felt a small twinge in his heart, like someone shot a pebble through it.

"What about the arm?" Eina asked, staring directly at Bell's pale-white arm.

"Honesty, I don't know; it was like that when I left the dungeon." Bell answered as he started moving the arm around.

"Same story for your shirt?"

"Yeah, I lost it in a monster attack while in the dungeon." He lied again.

"Oh Bell," Einas face quickly shifted from one of confusion and anger to one of worry. "Are you OK? Do you need a healing potion?"

"I'm fine, Ms. Eina; really, they didn't get a hit off me, luckily." Bell said as he stood up and spun around for her, showing that he had no marks, cuts, or bruises on his body.

"That's good, Bell." Eina sighed. "You don't know how worried I was when you didn't show up for our daily meeting."

"Uhm, Ms. Eina, I've been meaning to ask, what time is it?"

"It's 5:52, why?"

'That means I was in the Library for a few hours, but that can't be... It only felt like a few minutes in there.' Bell thought.

Eina could see the look of confusion on Bell's face and couldn't help but ask. "Bell, is everything alright?"

"Yes…" Bell said, though it was easy to tell that he wasn't focused on the conversation at hand anymore.

"You should head home for today after you turn in your monster crystals; you look tired." Eina said, trying to cheer Bell up at the prospect of earning money, but that didn't seem to do much for him.

"Yes, Ms. Eina," Bell said absently as he reached down for the pouch that held all his magic stones, only to realize that he had no magic stones.

"Huh?" Bell said as he stopped right in front of the door, this time taking off his pouch and checking with his eyes to make sure what he was feeling was right.

"What happened, Bell?" Eina asked.

"My magic stones are gone... I swear, I had almost a bag full."

"Did you misplace them somewhere?"

"No, that's not possible... The only place I went to other than the Dungeon was the Library… Oh." That's when it hit Bell: What if what Angela had said was true and that he really was from a different world than them? What would happen to the magic stones that only existed in his world when he went over?

A bag worth of monster crystals would appear in the middle of the dungeon floor. Their colors would be different as they all hosted a myriad of colors that seemed to attack a multitude of monsters as they all started cannibalizing each other over them. Only one could have them, and deep down in their instincts, they all knew it.

Bell could be seen running through what looked to be a multitude of ruined buildings before stopping at a ruined church. After entering the church, Bell headed to a wooden door on one of the sidewalls, which led down a flight of stairs, which led to another wooden door.

As Bell opened the wooden door, he could hear sobbing coming from inside the room.

"Goddess?" Bell asked as he turned into the room and saw his goddess, Hestia, sobbing into her bed.

"Bellluuuu," she sniffed. "Belluuuuu," Hestia sobbed.

"Uhm, Goddess?" Bell said a little louder, finally getting her attention.

"BELLUUUUU!" Hestia cried as she rocketed towards Bell.

"Hello, Goddess," Bell smiled warmly.

"Bellu, *sniffle*, where were you? Why couldn't I *sniffle* why couldn't I feel your falna?" Hestia said through sniffs and sobs.

"I'm sorry, Goddess. I was in the dungeon when a lot of things happened, and I ended up losing track of time." Bell explained

"B-but why couldn't I feel your Falna?" Hestia asked, the tears that were streaming from her eyes finally ceasing.

"You couldn't?" Bell questioned, 'That doesn't make sense; even if I were in another world, I was still alive, so why couldn't she feel my Falna then?' Bell thought

"I-i- was so worried that you died." Hestia cried out; the thought of Bell dying had restarted the sobbing.

Bell just smiled softly at Hestia and allowed her to cry into his chest until she felt better.

"We should *sniffle* update your falna." Hestia said meekly, patting a spot on her bed to signify where Bell should lay.

"Yes, Goddess," Bell said as he laid on the part of the bed where Hestia patted.

Hestia straddled Bell's back, and with a prick of a finger and a drop of blood, the black tattoo-like falna on Bell's back lit up in a divine white light as his status seemingly came to life and jumped off his back, constantly changing as Hestia looked through Bell's memories. As Hestia looked through Bell's memories, she saw a large gap in his memories, though she didn't have time to analyze it as they went by in an instant. After looking through Bell's memories, Hestia took a piece of paper and pressed it onto his back, signifying the end of the status update.

'What is this?' Hestia thought as she looked at the paper with Bell's status on it. In all her (very short) time on Genkai, she had never heard of anything like this.

'Does this have anything to do with the blank spaces in his memories?' The only reason Hestia didn't question Bell about this was because if she, his goddess, couldn't see his memories from his experience, then there should be no way that he remembered those blank spaces.

She made the quick decision to hide his skills from Bell. "Finished, Bell," she said as she got off his back and handed the paper over to him.

Bell noticed the smudges on the paper under the skills section: "Did I get a skill, Goddess?"

"Ah, no, my hand slipped. Sorry, Bell, you're still skillless."

Bell's head slumped at the news.

"Why did my endurance go up so much, Goddess?" Bell asked

"I don't know, Bell; nothing in your memories showed any reason for the increase." Hestia answered. "Cmon, it's late; we still have to make dinner," she said, trying to change the conversation.

"Ok, goddess," Bell answered, getting up from his position on the bed and heading over to the kitchen to start helping prep dinner.

Two hours later, Bell could be seen lying on a couch as sleep started taking over. 'What a day' were the last thoughts he had before drifting into unconsciousness.
