Author's Note: Welcome to the 2023 Halloween special! I have been sitting on this idea for a long time. For this, I want you to picture in your mind your favorite demon character greeting you through this feast. (I am picturing Gaap from Demon '79 of Black Mirror. You can choose who you want.) Let me know in the reviews who you picked. Anyway, I don't know what I am doing yet this Friday. I might have an idea. You are going to have to see. For now, enjoy this year's Halloween special!

Key Nine: Feast:

Welcome to the feast of sinners. Here we have a table filled with some interesting food. I hope you brought your appetite tonight. It's going to be a seven-course meal tonight. You're not allowed to leave the table until you have finished your plates. Let's see what we have on the table here.

Envy

First, we have the first course. Lift your lids. Ah, there it is. Oh! Tonight's appetizer is premium French Onion soup with lobster and the finest chunks of beef there is. Looks pretty, doesn't it? You almost don't want to ruin the surface with your soup. But alas, you must eat up. Look to your left and then look to your right. Your neighbors' soups look better than yours. That's just what envy looks like for this course. So everyone pick up your spoons and dig in.

Marion wishes she could be nice. She couldn't afford that anymore. There were still angels being nice. Marion doesn't know how they do it. How were they still able to stay positive? This place will kill them from the inside. Marion figured that she might as well be dead.

Still, something is keeping her going. Marion doesn't want to end up in a tank in the basement like the other "dead" angels. But what was the point? Escape had been a pipe dream at this point. She hadn't thought about that until Allen Walker came along.

Allen Walker.

She was fine until he came along. He gave her hope. That is just the cruelest thing he could do. Marion cursed herself. Why did she let herself believe in him? She was doing fine until she started to hope.

Marion looked up when she heard the door again. She already knew what was coming next. Jasdevi waltzed in, humming. Alma sat next to her with bated breath.

"Who are they taking next?" she asked. Marion shook her head. The vile twins walked over to the giant golden cage hanging in the middle of the room. They circled the pleasure angels with hunger in their eyes. Who was going to be their new victim tonight?

Suddenly, Jasdevi stopped in their tracks. Marion looked to notice them staring at her. The vile twins were grinning now. She should be used to it by now. Devit pointed at her.

"You!" he shouted. Marion doesn't move. Maybe they might move on to the next angel. Sadly, she isn't so lucky this time.

She ended up being chosen with six other angels for the night. Alma watched with her heart in her throat as Marion was led out of the room. She wasn't going to be back until morning. However, Alma is lucky for tonight in a way. She just doesn't see it.

Greed

How was your soup? Good, wasn't it? Well, here is the second course. Ah, here we are. You are going to love this. Open the lids. Ah, there it is. Lobster thermidor drowning in garlic butter lemon sauce. That's not all. You will also get barbecued oysters with smoky uni butter. Pretty rich, huh? We're going to have nothing but the best tonight. If you think this is good now, wait until you get to the main course. You can't get to that until you finish your second course.

Tate can really smell the blood in the air lately. He isn't the only one either. The angels are starting to look hungrier because of it. Cricket swallowed back his drool.

"Why are we so hungry all the time?" he asked. Tate didn't have an answer. Has it already started? What was he even thinking? Tate looked out the window. That red mist was still there from last night. It had lightened up a bit but not enough. The heavy smell of blood remained.

Last night, Tate thought about eating his own men. This wasn't new. Well, it was but it wasn't. Tate could handle his hunger. For the most part, at least. He wasn't sure how he that would last.

"How are you holding up?" Tate asked.

"I'm fine," Cricket said. "What about you?"

"I can manage," he said. "I have better control." The smaller angel lifted his chin.

"Then I will be the one to keep you from going over the edge!" he said. Tate all but laughed.

"You?" he asked. "You think you can protect me from myself?"

"Yeah," Cricket said. He puffed out his chest.

"We all will," the small angel said. Tate smiled and shook his head.

"Okay," he said. "Sure." Let the little angel dream. He meant well.

"And who's going to keep you from giving in to your hunger?" Tate asked. He noticed Cricket grinning at him.

"You are!" he said. Of course, he was. Tate shouldn't have been surprised by this. Instead, his mind was elsewhere.

He could see the blood rushing through Cricket's veins. He was only meat. Meat and blood. Cricket did give him permission to eat his body if/when he died. But it wouldn't be so bad just to have a taste. Only a little taste. He felt his teeth inching out in his mouth. Cricket was just standing right there. He could just… Just…

Tate shook his head.

"Something wrong?" Cricket asked. The boss didn't say a word. He stood up and walked out of the room.

"Tate? Tate?" the small angel asked. The door swung closed.

Pride

Was that good? Hungry for more? Good! Oh good, the third course is here just in time. Brace yourself. You're going to love this. There was go. Open the lids. There. Take a look. Super stuffed mushrooms with truffles, smoked salmon bits, and dill. Take a sniff. Your mouth is watering, isn't it? And look at the top. Yes, you are seeing that right. Those are gold flakes on top of the food. It's all edible. Adds a feeling of being rich, doesn't it? Well, go on then. Take a bite. Pretty good, huh? Eat up.

How long can Lavi keep this up? The net is closing in on him tighter now. The other day, one of the demons found him. He was in London at the time. (Why would he come there? He didn't have an answer for that himself.)

He disappeared into the crowd. No one tried to talk to him. This was good. He had to stay hidden. It didn't help that he had the smell of a local man who had the loneliest feeling. The angel couldn't make it much clearer than that. Either way, he felt like he stood out even though he was blending in.

Lavi already knew that he had to try and survive on his own. That wasn't going to be too hard. It was what he was doing until he met Ami. It looked like he was going to have to start doing that again. Three days would be too much to stay in London. He needed food and enough money for a bus out of the city.

He hadn't been in contact with Stacy for quite some time now. Lavi was worried about her but he couldn't rely on her anymore. He had an idea about what happened to her. He cursed himself on the street. Still, he couldn't worry about her now. The angel had to keep going.

Lavi made it to a small shop in town this morning. Nothing perishable. Just things that will last him for days. He didn't have a destination in mind. He just had to keep moving.

How long was he going to keep this up? Lavi didn't have an answer for that. The demons were starting to catch onto his trail. Speaking of which…

Lavi lifted his head. How long have those two men in trench coats have been following him? The angel narrowed his eyes. One man looked up at him. He whispered to his friend. He even pointed at Lavi. The angel looked around for a moment.

Oh shit.

Looks like it was time to go. Lavi looked to his left and then looked to his right. He was going to have to get out of here as quickly as possible. They already saw him. Right now, they were just talking. He couldn't just stand there.

There was an exit near the back. Perfect. Now how was he going to slip over to the door without being seen? The men were staring at him now. They hadn't made a move yet. Lavi had a clue at what they were playing at. They were daring him to make the first move. Now the angel had a problem. Either more and draw attention to himself or stay and get caught. Lavi held his breath.

"Fuck it."

Lavi turned and walked over to the back exit as fast as he could. He listened for the footsteps as he kept his eyes forward. Lavi pushed himself to keep going. Just get out that door and all the way to that alley. The angel held his breath as he kept his ears open and his eyes forward.

He finally made it to the door. The angel managed to escape into a back alley and run away. What he doesn't know is that Heaven has caught word of his son in the days while he was on the run. Now, Heaven and Hell are starting to close in on him. It's only a question of who is going to make the first move.

Wrath

How was that meal? Pretty good, huh? Oh, you're not done. Here comes the next course. Say thank you to the staff. There you go. Remove the lid. A salad. That's right now. You are getting a salad. But not just any salad. Take a good look. That's right. You have the freshest vegetables with fatty cuts of spicy beef, spicy cuts of roasted chicken, blue cheese, walnuts, soba noodles, and a spicy dressing of spicy honey vinaigrette dressing. Healthy, you see? Laughs Whatever gave you that idea? This is the feast of sinners. We are here to indulge tonight. So go ahead. Eat up.

Leda wanted to scream. She's alone in the dark again. It's only gotten dark outside. She couldn't even look out the high window. The angel clicked her tongue. Tyki is tending to patients again. Even picturing how to kill him didn't do it for her. She already knows what is coming. The monsters know it too. Tyki also knows it. Asking him did nothing.

She can't see him in his office anymore. He works by candlelight. He's been so busy lately. Tyki doesn't even talk to her when he walks into the room. In a way, it doesn't feel right. She expects him to say something. Anything. The silence was even worse. The angel lifted her head.

"What did you say?" Leda asked. The doctor looked up at her.

"You miss my voice, don't you?" he asked. She wrinkled her nose.

"No, I don't!" she snapped. Leda wasn't going to play his game. She turned her head away. His laughter made her cringe.

"Aw, did you miss me that much?" he asked.

"Shut up," Leda growled. She clicked her tongue. Tyki chuckled. He took a drag of his cigarette.

"I'm sorry I couldn't keep up our little engagements," he said. "I've been really busy." Leda rolled her eyes. Oh my! What ever should I do without you? It made her want to vomit. The doctor took another drag.

"Do you still want to kill me?" he asked. She kept looking away.

"Yes," she said. He smirked to himself in the dark.

"It's always the same thing with you, isn't it?" he asked. "You can desire to kill me all you want. But you and I know that you will never get that chance."

"I will kill you," she said in a low voice.

"I would love to see you try," Tyki said. Leda gritted her teeth. This rage inside of her was the only thing she had to keep going. That might be the one thing she needed to escape and act on her revenge.

Gluttony

Oh, you look got a little bit of lettuce left in your bowl there. There you go! Oh, you're done yet. We're just getting to the main course. Ah, right on time. Open your lids. Ah yes, there it is. We call this dish the beast. Gaze upon it. Beautiful, isn't it? Hm? What kind of meat is it? Even we don't know. All we know is that the meat is so rich and juicy. The meat is so tender that it falls off the bone easily. The taste is going to melt in your mouth. There are some sides but do you want to eat them next to the beast? Of course, you are! This is a feast after all. This beast comes with roasted potatoes, fresh greens, and fresh garlic bread sticks. Go ahead. Eat up.

Ophelia lay there on the bed. Her empty eyes stared up at the ceiling. It's just like when she was human. Their faces all looked the same to her. Was this going to be her fate—again? It didn't surprise her. What else was new?

They keep picking her for some reason. Was she that beautiful? It didn't feel like it. Yet, she does nothing to stop this. Ophelia has been going along with this for most of her life. Nothing's changed. Like she expected it to.

The monster on top of her was still sound asleep. She couldn't bring herself to look at him. They all look the same. This one wasn't as brutal as the last one. Ophelia still had the bruises all over her body.

She should be used to this by now. The angel used to be fine with accepting her fate. However, he came along and changed everything.

Allen Freakin' Walker!

This was all his fault. He gave her hope. How dare he do such a thing. Now, she's suffering more. Ophelia cursed herself in bed. He wasn't the only one who gave her hope. Leda made things worse. They weren't going to escape, were they? How could they make her believe such nonsense?

Still, Ophelia couldn't help but wonder. It would be nice not to have to sleep around to survive. She could just be herself. That felt like a pipe dream. But what if it wasn't? Was it possible to try and escape? What would that be like to leave this dying city?

Ophelia laughed to herself a dry laugh. There she went again. She just couldn't stop herself. Maybe she was setting herself up for more disappointment. Hope could be so addictive like that. Just an endless cycle of let-downs that she couldn't quit. Why should this time be any different?

Lust

How was your meal? Really good, huh? Oh, excuse me, sir. Finish eating. Finish eating. Nobody is leaving until the feast is over. There you go. Sorry about that, folks. Some people, am I right? Anyway, you're not done. We still have dessert. Ah, look. Here it comes now. You are all getting a giant seven-layer cake. Gaze upon it. Beautiful, wouldn't you agree? Let's see what we have here. Crushed Oreo foundation, red velvet cake, white cake, chocolate cake, a thick layer of fudge, white chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, whipped cream, salted caramel drizzle, and gold flakes.

You know what to do. Enjoy!

He lays there waiting for her. Allen's eyes were filled with lustful delight. Road looked down at him, smirking. He stared up at her, naked and tied down to the bed. She just put a new collar around his neck this morning. He looked so cute with that gag in his mouth. His cock stood up proud. She has that much power over him. What does she feel like doing tonight?

Whipping? Cutting? Pegging? Or should it be a surprise?

Allen stared up at her in anticipation. Aizen raced around in his body.

"How much do you want it?" Road asked. Allen let out a muffled cry. His mistress giggled.

"You are so adorable," she said. "All tied up and spread for me like that." Allen looked up at her with pleading eyes. Road ran her fingers down his left cheek. Her nails dug into the flesh. Allen let out a gasp. His mistress giggled as she drew her nails down to his chin. He had three deep gashes in his skin. They looked so red and angry. Road loved them.

"Do you know what I think would be hot?" she asked. She leaned down to his right ear.

"If I branded you and craved my name into your skin," the monster said. "That way you would never forget." Her words made him shiver. Road drew back, smirking. She knew what she was going to do tonight.

His mistress drew out a small switchblade knife and flicked it open. Allen's breath caught in his throat. He felt his cock straining. Nothing like a little cock ring to make things more interesting.

"Here is what I am going to do," Road said. "I am going to crave my name into your flesh. Then I am going to cut you up. Then I am going fuck you so hard. I am going to enjoy your skin covered in red." Allen stared at her with big eyes. Road leaned down to his ear again.

"If you are good, I might brand you later," she whispered. She stuck out her tongue and licked his ear. Allen's body jumped up. Road giggled as she sat up.

The tip of the blade went into Allen's collarbone. He groaned through the gag. The angel's eyes rolled into the back of his head. Road smirked.

"Now hang on there," she said. "We're only getting started." First came the "R". Road took her time with it too. The blade went down the skin inch by inch. He cuts so easily. The angel moaned with each cut.

She wrote her name. "Road" was dripping with blood on his skin. The mistress smiled at her work.

"Beautiful," she said. But she wasn't satisfied. His skin wasn't completely red. Road took up the knife and craved more letters into the skin. Words started to cover his flesh.

"Fuck toy." "Road's little bitch." "Slave." "Whore." "Bitch." "Pet." "Use me." "Ride me."

Road smiled at her handy work. Allen stared up at her with big eyes. His body gave way to trembling. The angel was well aware of what was going to happen. His mistress drove the knife into his side. It was a swallow stab either. She plunged it in deep. Allen let out another loud yelp through the gag. Road caressed his cheek.

"Heh. My pathetic, needy little pet," she said. She drew back the knife. There it was. That crimson that she so desperately desired. Her fingers trailed down to his throat.

"You are such a good pet," she said. Road leaned down to his ear again.

"I will give you a little reward," she whispered. Her legs came on either side of him. Road had a dreamy look in her eyes as she slid down onto his hungry cock. Allen moaned as she started to ride him again. His mind retreated into itself as the pleasure took over.

Mistress…

Sloth

How was that? Here, go like this. There you go. Hm? Oh, you aren't done yet. There's one more course for you. Come on, you can do it. Here it is right now. Open the lids. See? Nothing too bad. You're getting mints. That's all. You are finishing off this feast with some mints. You can do it. Eat it!

Lenalee was in another abandoned church. She didn't know where. Noah's words shook her. She couldn't get them out of her head. It wasn't her fault. The angel was just doing her job. But now…

Would it be better if she just stopped doing her job? Would people stop dying or would death just go on without her? She doesn't want to think about that. But what else can she do? Lenalee frowned as she looked at the ceiling.

"What is the point anymore?" she asked herself. Her phone rang by her side. Lenalee didn't bother to pick it up. They were probably calling about where she was. She couldn't face them. It wasn't like they would be hiding anything from her, would they? Lenalee shook her head. Of course not. The didn't make any sense.

She lifted her head when she heard footsteps at the doorway.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize anyone was here," a woman's voice said. Lenalee squinted with a puzzled look on her face.

"Hello?" the angel asked. It was so dark that she couldn't see anyone.

"Hello?" Lenalee asked. "Hello?" There was no answer. Still, the angel kept her guard up. There had to be someone in here with her. Something told her that she had to get out of there.

Suddenly, her phone rang. The angel about jumped when she looked down. It wasn't the office calling her this time. She didn't recognize this number.

"Hello?" Lenalee asked. She could only hear a faint whisper on the other line. The angel of death could only make out one sentence from the caller.

"Meet me outside in the courtyard."

Lenalee got up and walked out of the abandoned chapel. However, she walked out as if she was in a stupor.
