*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*RATATATA

*KABOOM

Damn it... just damn it, I knew things would go completely to shit the moment we came in contact with the Senos... everyone on the planet knew things were going to get out of control once the Blasters started firing.

I just didn't know the intensity with which we would be fighting... that question was answered when we saw the first of the Xeno assault ships being shot out of the air by ASC fire.

...

...we could say that was the signal to all of us that things are now as follows.

...

...

...we are at war.

And the only thing left to do is to see who dominates whom in this conflict.

...

...and with that said...

I have to skin this four-eyed Xeno.

"Graaghh... Aaarghgggh." *SHINK* My omega-edged bayonet cut through the armor and flesh of this four-eyed Xeno, the blade stained in crimson blood dripped onto the Molding Metal floor which is the hotel I'm standing on. The chest piece of this Xeno now had a large opening of melted metal which was caused by my omega-edged halberd cutting it with utmost ease.

I look away from the lifeless body of the Xeno I just killed to see what the situation is like on the rest of the roof... And what I see is a fierce fight against the invading life forms.

Chris who was behind an Elxter particle generator fired over the generator at a large armored Xeno, the red laser from the Black Eye Blaster IV penetrated the head of the huge alien with no problem.

Jean cursed a large bird-like Xeno, firing several dozen semi-solid energy shots with her Kick Dagger IV at the corpse covered in an amount of blue blood.

Ethan carried another of the four-eyed Xenos, who was squirming to free himself from our muscular friend's grasp. His efforts to free himself ended when Ethan broke what I believe was his back with a solid knee. He then tossed him aside grabbed the Split Laser Blaster IV and pointed it at the street where he could see several large Xenos.

Max shot a Xeno in the head with the Falcon Blaster IV, then quickly targeted another long-looking Xeno in the head, the semi-solid energy laser passed through the Xeno's hull with no problem. Killing it without a problem.

Shanra tossed a Xeno over her shoulder with no trouble, then aimed at another female-looking one and killed her with a well-placed shot right in the middle of her eyes.

I always knew that Shanra's strength was 8 times higher than humans, I always knew about the strength of the ascended ones as well. Since I was little she was always careful around me to avoid hurting me or hurting someone else.

I remember one time she was able to almost flawlessly lift a magnetic car to get the ball that we used to play Golboll. It was amazing to see how strong she was in those moments.

Now... can I just say it's downright terrifying, seeing how she's able to take out Xenos 4 times her size with ease makes me think she's barely even trying in these fights.

...but knowing her from our youth...I can tell that she is not holding back right now...unleashing her full strength against these Xenos.

That aside, I see how the other squads that are supporting us right now are dealing with the few Xenos that just landed on the roof of this building not too long ago. A freaking Xenos deployment ship deployed about 12 Xenos at our position.

We expected them to come for us and of course, they came, just as we wanted... what we didn't expect was the different forms of Xenos we would encounter in the process.

I almost felt a heart attack strike me at the sight of the various Xeno life forms that had been deployed against us... But I couldn't, I have a mission to complete and I plan to complete it. And to do that we have to support the guys who are on the streets.

I look at my group and yell to everyone through the speakers built into the helmet "Whiskey 00! Concentrate your fire on the road, take out as many Xenos as you can from the street! We need to support our soldiers on the ground!" I walk towards the barricade that was set up at the edge of the building.

Point to the ground. Where the main combat is going on right now. I watched out of the corner of my eye as the rest of my squad went behind the deployable barricades.

I look down at the conflict raging in the streets...the place that once should have been peaceful and bustling with activity.

...now became a battlefield.

The two streets in front of this hotel became a death zone, next to the hotel there were several groups of Star Guards opening fire against the Xenos. They were trying to advance as best they could under the fire of our Blasters.

An ALCT floating to the left of the building fired its main cannon of volatile condensed particles, the large orange laser passed over the heads of the Xenos until it crashed in their midst, hitting a Xeno vehicle which exploded the instant the beam made contact with it.

The turrets that were attached to the right of the ALCT's head came to life and began firing lasers in a succession of minus 1 second. Eliminating a large number of Xenos in the process.

...Damn...how I love it when ALCTs use those wonderful machine guns.

I aim at the ground and fire at an elongated Xeno, filling it with holes in the process. I then aim at another one that Jean shot down a few moments ago. And finally, I eliminated one more four-eyed Xeno that was covered by a magnetic vehicle with precise shots that left smoking holes in its chest and waist.

And so I continued... aiming at a new moving Xeno and opening fire, aiming and firing. Locating and killing the aliens that were in my sights.

I don't know how long I kept doing this...I didn't even count how many aliens...I just saw the different shapes of aliens that were on the street and pulled the trigger.

And so it went on for a long time... until suddenly there were only 20 aliens left on the ground, who seeing that they were outnumbered began to flee... running as far away from us as possible to avoid dying.

...

...I denied them that right to flee.

I shoot a female-looking alien in the back, taking her out before she could try to escape, adjust the Falcon Blaster fire at another of the lanky ones, and then shoot at a four-eyed one.

I was not able to eliminate all aliens, unfortunately.

...fortunately, the ALCT eliminated them all with the laser machine guns they had equipped. Clearing the street of all the aliens that were still alive in the street.

"Fuck yeah I love ALCTs!" shouted Jean as she watched the Xenos being taken out with ease.

"Relax Jean, this is just the beginning soon the fun part will start," I say to Jean as I watch as the forces in the street start to advance. Most likely to support another star guard group not far from where we are.

"Well you can blame our emotion, we blew up so many Xenos like they were fucking piƱatas," said Chris who looked down at the ground at all the dead aliens.

I was about to comment on something else when suddenly I received a call from my helmet. An image was projected in front of me. The image then morphed into a man in an old World War II soldier's outfit.

Gregory, the IS operator in charge of coordinating with the rest of the forces on site. He is also the chief operations leader of New Kryxir.

"Team Whiskey 00" the image of Gregory with a look of determination on his face told me enough to know that we would soon be moving position.

"Gregory seems to be something important, how can we be of service to you?"

"I need your squad to head to Queens Boulevard, I am receiving multiple reports of a large Xenos presence in the area, it appears they have just barricaded themselves in a narcotics trading post. Proceed to the location but use caution."

An image of the city was projected on my helmet, then highlighting where we need to go "Several non-human and ascended groups have been sighted roaming the area. Understood Squadron Leader David?"

"yes sir, consider the task completed then" I reply without hesitation. The hologram of the soldier suddenly disappeared, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Queens Boulevard? That's 5 blocks from our current position. We would have to abandon our position, leaving the other two squadrons alone to protect this position.

I look at the leader of one of the squads. But before he spoke he yelled at me "Hey David! Take your group to Queens Boulevard! They seem to need their squad urgently!"

I nod to him and say, "Fine! Can you guys handle this place on your own?"

"Don't worry about us! We'll kill any ugly aliens before they can set foot in this place! Now go!" said the leader of Omega Squadron 01.

I look at the rest of my squad who had their eyes still on the street, I get up off the ground and say to my squad "All right, hey we need to move to Queens Boulevard! It looks like we're needed to flush out several Xenos that are in the area!"

"Queens Boulevard? Isn't that where a Marketing Center famous for selling who knows how much chemical crap is located?" asks Max, who started to get up from his spot.

Soon the rest followed, I started running straight to the stairs of this building, down every step of this damned hotel, the debris caused by an explosion that shook the building could be seen all over the floor. The door leading to the hallway of rooms in this hotel opens.

Revealing a completely damaged hallway with bullet holes and moldable metal parts strewn across the floor. "Gregory says there is a large group of Xenos that parked themselves in that location, plus they are giving trouble to our comrades on site."

Shane says "Aren't there Steel Rangers in the area who can support them?"

"I don't think so, they are most likely dealing with other pockets of Xenos presence in the city" I quickly reply as we walk down the stairs at a brisk pace until we reach the second floor of this hotel.

"Do you think we can even get to that place without getting in trouble with the Xenos to begin with?" asked Ethan.

"Ethan you are asking the impossible, there will be Xenos inside the buildings or in the alleys of the city, of course, there will be a large amount of Aliens present in the area" replied Chris who was the first to leave the hotel.

And what I saw was the same scene we saw on the roof... only now I could notice several details closer to these aliens, the four-eyed ones having an almost human-like appearance are more intriguing.

I mean... it's not every day you come across aliens that look a lot like you physiologically speaking... it's scary even. The features this alien has are four fingers and square freaking eyes.

If I had armor I wouldn't notice it from a distance... But now being close to them I could notice these small details of the Xeno.

But the ones that are feminine looking...

...women.

...

...they are much more intriguing than the rest, I mean I don't see a single male variant of the blue-skinned Xenos, and besides they have many similarities with Human and Ascended women...I mean. They have all the traits to be able to completely mistake them for a human.

Besides the fact that they seem to have many similar characteristics to an Ascended...hell they are almost the same in many aspects they share, the skin color, the eyes, and not least...the damn beauty that are the breasts of these Xenos.

...

...

...I'm lucky Shanra isn't a Hellsher Brain, otherwise, she might give me constant headaches for thinking so lasciviously of these Xenos.

...Anyway, I have to focus on the mission now.

My squad and I stepped over all the lifeless bodies of the Xenos. Stepping over the pools of alien blood, we continued walking through the deserted streets of this city, passing between several abandoned cars and ruins of buildings that were victims of a highly explosive weapon.

We take a sudden detour down an alley, a shortcut to get to Queens Boulevard quickly. We will cut through the buildings that will lead us to our destination.

...

...I just hope there are no Xenos on our journey.

...but given the current state of affairs, I doubt very much that we have a peaceful path to Queens Boulevard.

We climb up some escape stairs until we reach what I think is the 12th floor. The window which was connected to the staircase is open, which means they must have left that place in a hurry.

At least now we have an access point to this building.

We enter through the window into a room that appears to be a storage room or warehouse of what appears to be an office building... god I hate offices.

We left this storage room, walking through the empty rooms of these offices and keeping a watchful eye on our surroundings.

And as we watched this whole place seemed...dead for lack of a better word. I began to remember what my life was like before I joined the Star Guard.

I remember before I joined the Star Guard I worked as a clerk for an outside Star System Calling company...how I hated that job.

Fourteen-hour work days with only 6 hours of fucking rest... I hated that job, it felt more like slavery than work in my humble opinion.

Besides... I felt like I was wasting my life in that place... but after seeing that Star Guard announcement things changed for me, bringing me to this precise moment in my life.

Heh... who would have thought that my life would end at this very moment... the arrival of new life forms to our society... the arrival of darkness to our way of life once again

I guess it was only a matter of time really... the Kritket were the first sign of all this... it was only a matter of time before something like the Ucids happened once again.

... David, focus on what's in front of you.

...

... and well I did, because several lights that I imagine were projected by some kind of flashlights were projected in front of us, we quickly hid among the blocks of office workers that were in the place. We spread out a bit around this office to avoid being seen by whatever was on the other side.

But I can bet my Nano Coins that it's a group of Xenos that are using those damned flashlights.

I look at my Shanra, who pokes her head out of the cubicle of a shitty office worker to get a better idea of where the Xenos are. I take advantage of the position that was more in front of me, to get a clearer view of these aliens.

He turned to look at me and started talking to me with his hand. He tells me that there are about 20 Xenos in front of us, every one of them carrying weapons in hand... and they are advancing to our position.

I look to my right, where Jean is hiding in one of the clerical blocks seeing that she was pulling out one of the disintegration grenades, she nods her head at me.

...a code we created among ourselves in our time training to become members of the Star Guard.

His way of telling us.

...

...things will go to shit fast.

...

... I nod to him... my response was, let him do it.

Fuck the Xenos.

...

Jean nodded, activating the grenade and then rolling it across the floor towards the Aliens who I can now see are walking through the clerical blocks. The grenade rolled down the path of this hallway.

Until stopping in front of one of the Xenos that looks like a frog.

The Xeno looked up, his eyes widened as he saw the grenade rolling in front of him.

And before he could scream.

...

The grenade detonated in a red sphere of about 7 meters in radius, disintegrating everything within its reach in the process.

... the only thing left of that big frog-like Xeno was nothing but dust and ashes covering this place. The rest of the aliens who saw nothing but ashes moved quickly between the blocks of clerks to protect themselves from us.

Too bad they didn't tell them that semi-solid battery Blasters are capable of getting through that crap with no problem.

The blue and orange shots went through the doomed clerical blocks with no problem, the second victim of our sudden ambush was one of the long Xenos who fell backward from several shots that hit him in the center of his mass.

The other aliens began to return fire, the shots that were powered by whatever they were using were aimed at us. Many of them missed hitting us but one or two were lucky enough to hit us.

Such was the case with one of his shots that hit me in the abdomen. Not much happened, the Elxter particle shield absorbed most of the kinetic and thermal energy that was in that projectile.

Also from what I can see from my Elxter particle shield meter, I only remove 10% of 100% of my shield.

This means that we can withstand the fire of alien weaponry for a while, not forever of course, but at least we can resist against them. Nothing like before with the Ucid, their weapons were said to be able to eliminate the molecular structure of anyone unfortunate enough to be hit and turn them into nothing but dust and ashes.

Other weapons were rumored to have the ability to turn people into living bombs that burned the inside of the human body and then exploded in an ion blast.

There are many weapons that are far worse than the ones I just mentioned... I could say we are lucky we are not fighting Xenos that use similar weaponry to the Ucid. It looks more like the kind of projectile-based weaponry that we use.

A blessing indeed, if the Xenos had that weapon of red needles that eat away at your body at a molecular level and cause you the most pain, I would blow my brains out to save myself the suffering.

The shots kept flying back and forth, we were trying to kill each other as fast as we could. The helmets we have have a focus assist that helps us to shoot more accurately, I mean of course we won't have the same lethal accuracy that the Apex Warrior has.

...but we managed to hit the target without much trouble.

Such is the case of one of my shots that hit one of the four-eyed Xenos in the middle of its orbits, the brains completely burned out of its lid and its now lifeless body fell backward.

The remnants of the Xenos began to retreat, opening fire to try to suppress us with a hail of their projectiles, they did not expect us to be on the scene. We took them with their pants down.

And now we have to keep going until the job is done.

I look at my group and say "We have to move forward! Get rid of those Xenos!" I say as I fire at the aliens a total of 20 in a few seconds.

Needless to say, my team was opening fire on the Xenos, advancing little by little while eliminating the aliens that were in our way. I was dominating the situation at the moment.

It was just a matter of keeping up the pressure and we would have them in our control.

...but suddenly.

What had to happen happened.

The unknown doing its deeds once again against us.

One of the blue-skinned aliens, which were just women... just... started to fucking glow blue, the fucking light bathed her whole body as if she was some kind of neon Neirakina.

And suddenly...

...happened.

From one moment to the next the scenario was normal, only for the Xeno to suddenly throw its fist forward... and bloody explosions of the same color and light that enveloped it began to escalate right up against it.

...

...Shanra.

...

...I turned to look at her and yelled at her to get out of the way.

...

...

...it was not necessary for me to tell her. After all, she is an ascended one, a human being who was modified by the demonic Ucid to be superior to us human mortals in every way. So it was no great surprise to see her suddenly vanish from one side to the other.

...and then his arm suddenly began to tremble, convulsing in a way that should not be possible... and that's when everything seemed to freeze.

Shanra's arm... changed, but to be more complex, the arm grew, changed shape, changed color, and elongated to a shape that is not human at all. And the extended limb which now looked like a kind of big tentacle.

The Ascent III Transmutation suit was made of solid Krifiria, a combination of alloys from different planets with hard minerals that are as light as aluminum and 15 times stronger than the old Keltirk coatings.

One amazing thing about Krifiria is that when voltage is applied to it, its molecular structure changes, turning it into a liquid and malleable metal alloy that can be adapted to any surface we want.

...

...

...so it was not surprising to see how the metal of his suit adapted to the tentacle in the form of several blades and spines polished lethally and pierced the Xeno's abdomen and back with absolute ease.

His body was lifted off the ground by Shanra's newly mutated limb, the look of horror that was on his face and the faces of the other Xenos was alarming to see... as if they didn't know things like this existed.

...

...unfortunately or fortunately for the Xeno that Shanra impaled, her suffering did not last long, because Shanra's mutated limb cut straight up, slicing the upper part of this Xeno in half, and with another swift lash cut her off at the waist, cutting the alien into three pieces.

Her blue blood stained the wall and the floor, and Shanra's mutated arm was beginning to return to its original state. Her hand and armor returned to normal, just as it was before she transformed into that lethal tentacle.

The Xenos could only stare in terror at my girlfriend, every one of them speaking in words that could not be understood at the moment, communicating with squawks, clicks, and extraterrestrial fluent words.

But I'm more than sure... they said to eliminate my girlfriend's monster.

And just as I had predicted the Xenos began to open fire on Shanra, concentrating only on her and leaving the rest of us alone... a mistake we will make them pay for in blood.

Ethan raised his Split laser Blaster and fired a concentrated beam of crimson energy at the Xenos, the laser cut and cauterized several Xenos that were in its targeting range. Eliminating them with a speed that would make the Hunters jealous.

One of the most famous elite forces in all of the U.S.A., apart from the famous Apex Warriors.

Jean likewise began to eliminate several of the other Xenos in the area, Max quickly closing in on the aliens, so much so that he was in front of one of the bird-like ones.

Max swung the Falcon Blaster III at the alien, slashing its chest with the omega-edged bayonet, the armor barely able to withstand the omega force inside that blade.

If our battle suits, which are made of the same material as Shanra's suit can withstand 5 or 6 slashes from those blades. Then it will be cutting through the armor of these Xenos without much trouble.

As I could see in several examples above, the blades do their duty and as we wanted them to.

Chris IV's Black Eye Blaster suddenly went off and the large discharge of a rifle firing high-powered semi-solid energy cracked some of the glass in the office. It also left my ear ringing slightly.

For one reason you always place yourself away from long-range shooters. Even with this helmet on, the sonic force of these weapons is capable of deafening us.

And I think the Xenos also felt the sonic shock of Chris' Black Eye because I saw several of them grab the side of their heads.

Another one of the frog-like Aliens started to charge straight at me, my instincts took control of my body and led me to slide right between the alien's legs, I raised my rifle and slashed between the Xeno's legs.

The orange-colored blood completely bathed my suit and my sight was covered with the blood of this Xeno, I heard how it roared in pain. I quickly wiped the blood off the Xeno and turned to look at the spout I caused.

And I was not disappointed, the Xeno's balls were completely erased from existence, a castration so painful that I'm more than sure it's only a matter of time before the Xeno drops dead from the pain.

But before he could see that, a giant, spiked arm with chrome scales appeared above the Xeno, forming into a fist and crushing the alien instantly, leaving nothing but a large orange blob of flesh and bones.

I look to my right and see that it was Shanra who manifested that part of her body...the arm of a Verdamhound.

And that's just a fraction of what Shanra can do right now...when she's completely transformed, she'll be a completely different being.

...now.

...

...there is only one Xeno left. And that Xeno is one of the elongated ones, poor soul, I could see how his whole body was trembling with fear at this moment. We held our guns up against the alien, waiting for him to shoot.

And if it did, we would create a lot of holes for the bastard.

Luckily for the alien, that never happened as the complete terror that enveloped this intelligent being completely overpowered him, dropping the rifle and raising his hands as a sign of peace... that he didn't want to fight.

...bad news for us. Why now do we have to carry around a prisoner at this time, plus I think the higher-ups would like to play with the Xeno for a while.

"Dav do you want me to kill him?" asked Max who brought the rifle close to the alien's face, the heat from the rifle scarring the bloody alien's skin.

I shake my head at him and say "No Max...cuff him and put him to sleep, the higher-ups will want to know what we are dealing with" I tell everyone.

"well look who got lucky...looks like it's not your lucky day my skinny friend," says Chris who slowly walks over to look at the Xeno.

To suddenly hit him with a punch and knock him out instantly.

...

...

Darkness...

...Darkness...

...It is all that surrounds me at this moment... a deep and infinite darkness that seems to have no end or beginning... defying all the laws of gravity that are used in the Eezo...

...but.

...

...in this darkness...there's like, some kind of noise that repeats in succession over and over again...over and over again I hear noises and sounds that I can't properly identify...but for some reason, I feel that they are very close to me.

... too close actually, I could even feel an alarm going off on the side of my head.

...but

...Why does it ring on the side of my head?

...

...

...What?

What is going on?

Where am I?

...

...I am unconscious.

I am unconscious at the moment, most likely on the bridge floor.

I have to wake up.

Come on Real you have to wake up!

Wake up!

Wake up!

Wake up!

...

...

And just as I had been begging it happened... my eyes before were as heavy as a Krogan, began to open... and what I see right now... is nothing but fire.

A fire so blazing that it consumed the entire metal structure in which it was burning, sparks flashing from the instruments flew all over this burning command bridge.

And their officers...

Keelah were burning right now... their lifeless bodies that were now withered and scorched by the fire... are... are... Keelah, I don't want to see them.

How... How am I now?

My eyes began to explore my body... but it wasn't just seeing how my body was, it was also trying to feel any great pain that my body was signaling me with great suffering.

Keelah damn...my ribs... hurt too much, most likely broken by now. My right arm was bleeding badly from several metal shards that were stuck in me...Bosh'tet.

At least my visor isn't broken yet...I won't die any time soon from exposure to airborne bacteria...what a lucky Bosh'tet I have.

I have to move...if I stay here I will end up like my officers...something I don't want to experience while I am still alive, so with a great pain that demanded I not move from my place, I got up from wherever I was lying. Limping as I tried to stand up.

I look around me, watching as the command bridge that I was previously commanding is on fire... Bosh'tet, there goes my efforts as fleet admiral, my eyes are directed to the exit of this command bridge, and with a few painfully slow steps I walk towards the door that was opening and closing in the process.

The door stopped its attempts to close automatically the moment I was in front of the door, at least its systems were still functioning properly.

I walk through the door, entering the corridors of what was once a huge ship full of Quarians... now it is in ruins, with fires in several parts of this corridor and huge holes that must have been caused by some shell or piece of shrapnel that went through the hull of the ship.

I hobbled through the corridors of this ship, trying to find any sign of life from my people who were trapped on this ship... but the more I explored the emptier I found this ship.

I can't find anyone in these corridors... it almost seems like all life inside this ship disappeared instantly.

Please...if there is some kind of divinity watching me right now...please I implore you, tell me that my people inside this ship are still alive, tell me that there are still survivors in this place.

The ship suddenly started groaning, the structure of this whole ship seemed to be collapsing in on itself... wherever we fell it must have split the ship completely.

It's an idea of mine, I have no idea how the ship is doing, all I can do right now is speculate how the ship is doing right now... but my theory may not be as far-fetched as it sounds.

I was going to keep walking when suddenly...something started to sound above my head, a sound of something that seemed to be walking through the ventilation ducts of this ship.

I looked up, trying to see what was above my head, my vision was suddenly cut off when something slimy and sticky fell on my visor. I tried to remove whatever was stuck to my face immediately.

Bosh'tet! What the fuck is this!

...And why do I feel like there's something crawling down my back?

...

...It happened very fast...a fleshy, gelatinous thing wrapped itself around my abdomen, squeezing me with a force 5 times greater than that of a Krogan...and lifted me off the ground.

The moment I felt my feet stop touching the ground, that's when I started to scream in fear and terror, I twisted in any way I knew how, trying to free myself from whatever it was that was grabbing me right now... but the strength of this being or whatever it is that is grabbing me is clearly superior to mine.

Leaving me as nothing more than helpless prey on which this being can feed or kill me for its pleasures.

I looked up to identify my attacker.

And...

...

And...

...

Keelah... I wish I hadn't done it.

That...

That Thing...

...Keelah...no...it should not be able to exist.

The head of this horrifying being, which was sticking out of the head... is... by Keelah, a complete abomination! The creature's head opened in three, like a kind of star! Keelah I can see eyes inside those three jaws!

Huge teeth that were more like blades than teeth protruded from the jaws of this abomination! Its skin... Keelah, it looks like I'm looking at a corpse right now! And in the center of its mouth was the darkest tongue I've ever seen in my entire life!

...and that tongue is retreating into your inner self!

No! No!

I have to break free!

I have to!

*CRUNCH

...

...

Before Fleet Admiral Rael'Zorah could put up any more of a fight, this being's gaping mouth slammed shut... swallowing the Quarian whole with no problem at all.

The being in the vent began to swallow deeper into the Quarian it had just consumed, to the point that the body of the now unconscious Quarian lay balled up inside the stomach of this being.

The Try-Stalker who was still exploring the wreckage of this ship, came to him with the memories of a lifetime... a lifetime that is almost similar to that of the other Quarians he ended up capturing in the process.

And honestly, he's not as surprised as he was before...he means of course, he still feels some pity for these beings, for all they had to go through and the events that led them to this moment.

But right now is not the time to apologize, when this battle is over, he will explain everyone to the higher-ups and try to give them as much information as he can about these Quarians.

Before he could continue searching for more life forms on this ship, a voice coming from his communication device spoke to him "Rapkar, how are you doing inside there change".

The abomination identified as Rapkar responds, in a hushed, deadly voice, as if someone is whispering near someone "This is Rapkar reporting leader Ben, What is the Situation?"

"for the moment we are quiet, the hostile Xenos have not shown themselves, but that may change soon, we are almost done placing these in the control cages these Aliens here, finish up inside that ship so we can get out of here soon. I don't want the other uglies coming here for my blood" says the guy identified as Ben.

"Okay... I'll explore one more level and get out of here," says Rapkar, who started to slide down the ventilation ducts of this ship.

Leaving nothing but a ship enveloped by the sound of flames and sparks exploding successively on the site.

/.../

/.../

/.../

Well things seem to be fine at the moment, the Xenos ships that are now in the skies of our planet are still circling the area of the first ship impact. I sent a group of ghosts not long ago to the site to investigate the site and a possible rift that we can take advantage of to destroy those ships from our skies.

And from the reports that the ghost group has been giving me, it seems that there are two different groups of Xenos, the first ones that Astera eliminated, it turned out that they were escaping from the others that were coming after them.

Great fucking news.

...if before I had to worry about dealing with only one alien race... now we will have to deal with two races after this that may or may not hate us for everything that is going on right now.

Damn it.

...Just...damn it.

Ah... now don't think about that Williams, now we just need to think about what we are going to do to keep this planet still under the control of the U.E.A.

"Sir, we have reports in the city of Altiria of several ATVs going into the city," said Astera suddenly, showing an image of a possible security camera from the city of Altiria, where a vehicle that could be called an ALCT, rolling through the streets of that city.

"Tell the 9th Steel Ranger Guard stationed in the city to engage the Xenos...it's time to show them the firepower we can carry!"

"Roger that commander" with that said the image of Astera disappeared, to show me again a complete map of the planet.

...
