Okay I want to first start off and say the reason I'm doing this is because after re-reading my Spider Nights, I just didn't like where I was going with it, also it felt like I was just coping my Moon Knight story, so I'm rebooting it will still be Spider-Man's son, the Superior Spider-Man but now I'm placing him in Security Breach instead, I hope you all can understand and enjoy this new take on the story.
Chapter 1
Strange Delivery
It was a calm sunny morning in the city of New York…or so you think, for in the middle of New York Streets was a hot police chase between a stolen Nissan Sentra and two cop cars. People were screaming and jumping out of the way of the maddening chase while inside the two robbers were hooting and hollering with glee as they raced down the streets of New York.
"What did I tell you man, this would a good score!" the driver said with glee
"It will be even better when we ditch these cops!" the passenger said
Unbeknownst to them however, on the top of the many skyscraper of New York, sitting on the very edge of the building was a red and black figure with black bug-eyed shaped lenses and a black spider all across his chest.
"Sheesh, six in the morning and crime is already underway but I guess that's New York I guess" the figure said
So with that said the figure then jumped down from his spot on the building and started to fall through the air. He then thrusted out his arm out and shot a web from his wrist which stuck to the side of a building causing him to swing through the air. He kept swinging until he was right on top of the stolen car, causing him to let go and dive toward the stolen car until landing with a thud on the roof of the car, spooking the two within.
"What was that?" the driver asked looking at the roof
"Don't know, let me look" the passenger replied
He then stuck his head out of the window of the car to get a better look at what landed on the roof, only to be grabbed by his neck collar and thrown out of the car. The spider figure then shot a web from his wrist which stuck the criminal to the side of a nearby building, making him safe and secure for the cops.
"Now for the other one" the man said
The Spider then jumped off the roof of the car and shot a web at it, until he then pulled forward and went right through the car and kicked the driver out the car and onto the sidewalk. He then jumped in front of the car and grabbed the front of it and brought it to a halting stop. Once the car was stopped the Cops then pulled up to the hero and walked out to meet him.
"If you're wondering, the two robbers are back there down the street with one out cold on the sidewalk and the other webbed to the wall of a building, you can't miss him" The spider figure said to the cops as he turned to leave
"Thanks Spider-Man, we own you" one of the officers said as "Spider-Man" saluted to the officer before shooting a web and swung into air.

Hey there, my name is Ben May Parker, son of Peter Parker aka the Amazing Spider-Man and I am New York's new Superior Spider-Man. Now you're probably thinking "wow talk about a big ego" but you're wrong that is not why I took up that name and to tell you why we have to go back…to when my mother died.
I was ten years old and today was my birthday and I was spending it with my dad Peter Parker and my mom Mary Jane Watson Parker. For my birthday we decided to go to a place called Freddy Fazbear's Mega-Pizzaplex and it was fun, they had good food and a funny atmosphere and the most defining feature were the animatronic mascots Freddy, Chica, Monty and Roxy, one of my favorites' mind you. It was a fun time for us all and I didn't think anything could ruin it…how wrong I was. It was the middle of the show and while everyone was enjoying it, he then came crashing through the roof with a cackle of laughter, Carnage. So without wasting time my father then suited up and took on the psycho symbiote and during which dad was close beating Carnage…that is until he pulled out his trump card. Carnage then grabbed my mom and held a blade to her throat, demanding that he be set free, so with no choice my father agreed to let Carnage go free for the freedom of my mother. I honestly thought that my mother was going to be alright when Carnage let go of her…but I was dead wrong when I saw that crimson blade burst out from her chest in a spray of blood.
So fast forward a bit and I am now fifteen years old and I had started to develop spider powers of my own but it was all for not because Spider-Man was gone. After my mother's death my father had hung up his suit and had quit being Spider-Man and because of that New York plunged into chaos, criminals ran rampant, people were being hurt and worst…everyone was losing hope in their favorite web-slinger. I tired so many times to convince my dad to go back to crime fighting so that New York has a symbol to look up too but he never would listen to me, instead burying himself in his work at Horizon and leaving me alone. I thought that this would be my life forever, to be alone and growing up in a city full of crime and chaos but one day after turning on the T.V and seeing the news about a shootout at Time Square, something in me…snapped. Before I knew it, I had grabbed my dad's old suit and web shooters and swung to the scene. Sure jumping into a shootout without a plan or proper training was a dumb idea but I didn't care I just couldn't take it, seeing all those people hurting just made me want to go and help no matter what happened to me and by some miracle I had won. Everyone was happy, genuine happy since Spider-Man disappeared but my dad… was not, for when I returned home I was greeted by my angry dad, shouting at me, telling me that it was foolish for me to go out there and above all asking me over and over again why I would do something so…dumb but all I did was tell him one sentence that he told me that my great uncle told him.
"With Great Power, comes Great Responsibility"
And with those few words, my dad taught me everything he knew about being Spider-Man and before I knew it I was swinging around New York as their new protector, there new Spider-Man. Although during my time as the wall crawler I took upon myself to improve myself further after all I can't keep swinging around with my dad's antiques. So I made myself a new suit, new gadgets and even my personal Spider-Bot's that became my personal eyes and ears around New York to help my crime fighting and because of these new changes and seeing how well I was protecting the city, people started to call me…the Superior Spider-Man. Now I will admit I kind of hated the name it made me sound…arrogant, but over time I began to see the name in a new light, so I wear the name Superior not out of arrogance but as a promise to the people around me and my family that I will continue to improve myself for the safety of everyone around me until I can truly say I am…Superior.

So now here I am, twenty years old with red hair, blue eyes and a pale skin complexion and I live by myself in my apartment just near Horizon Labs with a great rent for someone who had just struck out on their own. I have a job as a freelance tech repair man for vintage tech, it was sort of a hobby of mine, to repair and upgrade old tech to keep up with the ever changing world we live in today.
Which bring us to here, where I was swinging back into my apartment ready to hit the hay and relax after another successful patrol day in New York. So once I arrived, I then landed on the side of the building and crawled into my bedroom through the window and once inside, I then took off my mask and fell back on my bed letting out a sigh of relief.
"Ha, home sweet home" I said with a smile plastered on my face
I almost would have fallen asleep if it weren't for the sudden phone ringing that caught my attention. Fishing out my phone I was greeted to caller I.D of my dad and so with a smile I then pressed the answer button.
"Hey dad, how's it going?" I asked into the phone
"I should ask you that by the way nice job son" said Peter's voice
"Thanks dad but to be honest it was just a bunch a crooks anyway"
"Hey don't sell any victory short, if it weren't for you those wackos would have caused a lot of damage on the streets"
"Yeah I guess but…ever since I was able to lock up most of our enemies it's been kind of been…boring"
"Hey don't knock off boring, it like a blessing in disguise for people for us"
This got a chuckle from me as I couldn't help but relate, after all with very little to do Spider-Man wise I was able to handle my life as Ben Parker quite easily in fact. Just then I heard my doorbell go off which caught me off guard.
'I'm not expecting anything today' I thought
"Hey dad I've got to let you go, I think there's something at my front door" I said to the phone
"Alright I'll talk to you later, bye" dad said as he ended the call
Once it was I then stowed my phone in my pocket and made my way to my front door, and once I did I then peered into the seeing hole. On the other side of the door was a large wooden crate which surprised me as well as made me more curious. So I then unlocked my door and opened it up which revealed the crates full size, which was the same height as me which again surprised me since I have never got a package this big before.
"Okay, that's new even for me" I said eyeing the crate up and down
I then peered out into the hallway, hoping that the person that brought the crate was still here but to my disappointment there was no one. I then noticed attached to the side of the crate, taking a closer look I then saw it was note that was taped to the side of the box, so I took the note down and it read.
"Dear Mister Parker, We have tried so hard to fix her but we have had no luck, maybe you will have better luck"
'Her?' I thought in confusion
I then looked back at the crate, perplexed by the strange package; I almost didn't bring the strange box in but seeing as it was in the middle of hallway and drew a lot of attention to it I thought I might as well just check it out and get it out the people's way. So with my mind made up I then pushed the large crate into my apartment, with ease thanks to my enhanced spider strength, and closed the door behind me. I then pushed the crate into my living room and set it down on the floor as I got ready to open it.
"Well, let's see what we got" I said to myself
So I then grabbed the edge of the box with my bare hands and with a good tug I then yanked the lid right off without any problem. Once it was off I then set it down and peered inside the crate to find…a blast from the past!
"Roxy?!" I exclaimed
It was true, for inside the wooden crate, surrounded by bits of Styrofoam…was Roxanne Wolf from the Pizzaplex or what was left of her. The once pristine Roxanne was now more torn apart then anything he has ever seen, most if not all of her outer shell was completely gone showing her inner workings and endo skeleton for the world to see, but the most defining feature of the old animatronic was the fact was her face was gone with a bit of her silver hair and green streak left.
"Geez, you've seen better days haven't you?" I asked the broken mechanical wolf
Of course the decrepit animatronic didn't reply, merely just laid in the box with her jaw just hanging open. So with a deep breath I then heaved the robot out of the casing and slung her over my shoulder, to where I seated her on my couch so that I inspect the extent of her damage. Of course just by looking at her I realized this was going to be one heck of a repair job and worse is that I have very little knowledge of how these things work even back then. Thinking back I couldn't help relive the moment when I first meet the Racing Star herself.
(Flashback)
I was ten years old and my mom and dad had brought me to the Pizzaplex for my birthday and when I first walked in I couldn't help but be amazed by the size and colorfulness of it all which brought joy to my small little face.
"So, what do you think Ben?" my mom asked even though she knew my answer
"It's so cool! Thank you so much mom, dad!" I shouted with glee which brought a chuckle to my parent's faces
So once we admitted into the Pizzaplex and got a map form the, slightly creepy, map bot, we got busy exploring the mall sized attraction. Of course ten year old me just couldn't decide what to do, there was just too many choices. There were so many attractions like Fazer-Blaster, Monty Golf and Mazersice but out of all the attractions there was one that caught my eye the most… Roxy Raceway. So with my mind made up, we then decided to head over to the indoor racetrack but to my disappointment the attraction was closed.
"Huh, wonder what's going on in their?" my dad said looking at the shut gates with curiosity
"Sorry but my raceway is closed for maintenance" a female voice said
We then turned to the voice and we came face to face with one of the infamous animatronic mascots of the Pizzaplex…Roxanne Wolf or Roxy for short. She was tall, just slightly taller than my dad, with sliver fur making up her body with a main of silver hair that flowed down her back with a green bang in the front. For her attire she wore a red crop top, shoulder pads and red hot pants.
Of course seeing the animatronic in all her glory filled me with so much joy that I ran right over to her, ignoring my parent's pleas, and wrapped her bottom torso in a hug which surprised her.
"You're Roxanne Wolf! I always wanted to meet you!" I shouted with glee
Of course my mom and dad peeled me off her, all be it a tad bit tricky due to me having a slight bit of my sticking powers, and pulled me a few inches away from Roxy.
"Sorry about that, our son can be a bit jumpy at times" my mom said but all Roxy did was just chuckle at this
"Ah don't worry about it, I get that a lot from kids" Roxy replied, with bit of moxie in her voice
Roxy then got down on one knee and was now face to face with me, which made her reach out and ruffle my hair, causing me to giggle with happiness.
"Nice to see someone around here who knows a good attraction when he sees it" Roxy said with a bit of pride
"You bet I do…but why is it closed?" I asked which made the animatronic look sad
"Sorry kiddo but my raceway needs a bit of fixing up, but don't worry they'll have it fixed up in no time" Roxy said which made me very happy
"Great and don't worry Roxy, I'll be the first person to ride it when your … back on track" I replied adding a bit of my dad's wit at the end
This caused Roxy to laugh out loud, wiping an oil tear from eye because of it.
"That was good sport, you know I like you kid let me give you something" she said as she reached into her pockets
She then pulled out a golden ticket with a little picture of Roxy with a racing get up on it, waving two checker flags and on it, it read "V.I.P".
"Now I don't give these tickets to anyone but since you're such a good sport I'll let you have it" She said as she handed me the ticket
I then took the ticket and couldn't help be baffled by the golden slip of paper in my hand. Filled with so much joy I then jumped forward and wrapped my arms around her and gave her my best bear hug, which Roxy returned.
"Thank you so much Roxy, you're the best!" I shouted with glee which made Roxy smile largely at this as she squeezed a little tighter.
"Thanks kid, you have no idea how much that means to me" she replied
Unfortunately we had to pull away so that my parents could take me to the other attractions but before that Roxy asked me one last question.
"So, what's the name of my new Superstar?"
"Ben Miss, Ben Parker"
(End Flashback)
Bring myself back to the present I couldn't help but look over on the kitchen table because on it was the same Golden ticket that Roxy gave me all those years ago.
"That was ten years ago…man time sure flies" I said, baffled
I then turned back to the animatronic on my couch and smiled a bit.
"Don't worry Roxy, I'll get you back on your feet in no time" I said with a huge amount of determination
But I then looked out my window and could see the night had come which surprised me a bit, which then lead me to look at my phone's clock and saw it was ten o'clock already.
'I guess we'll have to start tomorrow because it's time for me to hit the hay' I thought
So with that in mind, I then quickly got into my sleepwear and got ready for bed but not before giving Roxy a quick pat on the head.
"Good Night Roxy" I said as I went to my bedroom and laid down to sleep
Unbeknownst to me however, in the living room, while everything was quiet and still…one of her fingers…twitched.
So yeah this the first chapter of the Spider Night's Reboot. I hope you all like it and to remind you constructive criticism is encouraged and I'll see you all next time!
