Collective laughter of mockery echoed throughout the school. Laying there, was a kid with two protruding silver hair with an average look.

He whimpers, his hands bruised, his eyes looked pleadingly to the tormentors in front of him.

But alas, they laughed regardless.

"Hey! You can't blame us!" The leader of the kids said, "You're the one with the copycat quirk! It fits if you get to be the villain, right? That's the whole point of being a villain, you kill, and steal!"

"B- but.. isn't that a bit of a prejudiced and shallow viewpoint?" Garou stuttered, "Q- quirks doesn't m- make the person, it's what's on the inside that makes it counts.."

"Hey, hey, you don't have to lie to us," The leader crouched, his sneer caused Garou to crawl back in slight fear, "You want to be a villain, right? With that versatile quirk, you can add as many quirks as possible to your arsenal..maybe then, you can try to conquer the world with it."

"Hell, even the infamous, mythical villain that we came to know as 'All For One' steals quirks like you do!" The other kids added.

"But I swear, I'm not him! I don't want to be a villain!" Garou insisted, his voice breaking down almost as if he was going to cry.

"Shh, shhh, being a villain isn't so bad, Garou." He said, caressing the kid gently on the head, "Well, except for the privelege of always being victorious, that is. Villains are always destined to lose after all. Let me rephrase that: Losers like you are always destined to lose. You, villains, both of you are on the same category."

"T- Tacchan..?" Garou was struck by his sudden declaration.

"The hated loses, the popular wins. That's how the world works, idiot." 'Tacchan' flicked Garou's forehead gently with his index finger, before standing up.

...

On an abandoned house..

Shotting his eyes open, he quickly slammed the floor with his fist, as it went through it and created a circular crack around it.

Realising his blunder, Garou sighed, "Aw fuck...I did it again."

The ceiling was about to collapse on itself, all because Garou couldn't control his temper.

Fuck, now I gotta find another roof to hide under.

He ran towards the exit, as the abandoned house collapsed on itself.

He scanned the area around him, before deciding to run away.

Goddamn, what was that dream, anyway? It's been a while since he had any dreams. Why at that point, exactly?

Then, he remembered Yagi. That man has been caused a lot of anxiety and stress to him lately. The fact that his strength is exponentially above him, he just couldn't reach it, not even after years of training.

That reminded him...

of the UNFAIRNESS that this world seems to have. The strong culls the weak. The weak never gets the chance to shine, they just got thrown aside like an old, rusty toy. How is that fair?

And Yagi...

He's like the embodiment of all the unfairness that he had faced. How does he get to relax in his house, under the luxury of being a paid pro-hero, when, without his knowledge, oppressed and discriminated people that are considered as the inferiors suffers as days passes?!

And he's doing NOTHING about it? All the while he operates under the biased justice that has been implemented by the higher ups, he lets the unpopular, akin to the loser he used to be, suffer the discrimination that these damned heroes has turned a blind eye towards.

Years of yearning for strength, and he wasn't able to receive the ultimate strength that Yagi had prevailed in achieving.

He'll try harder.

He will achieve it.

No matter what.

No matter how many bones he has to break, no matter how many liters of blood he has to lose, no matter how many times he's close to death's doorsteps...

He will never relent.

Not until he becomes the Absolute Evil that everyone will learn to fea-

"Again!"

Speak of the devil...

Garou hid under the oak of a tree, his eyes following the two figure in front of him.

Yagi, and the brat..

The brat that he met a couple of days ago. He could see his determined look. He's connected to Yagi?

And what was Yagi even doing..?

"Come on, you already did the ten kilometre run. Time for the final stage, one hundred squats!"

"H- hold on.." The kid said, breathing heavily, clutching to his chest, "I need to breathe..."

So that's how it is. Another kid that he plans on giving the same false hope he gave everyone thirty years ago.

Asshole...

"Maybe I should step in and.." Garou halted, "Fuck, I forgot that I need to stay away from him for the time being..."

He rubbed a circle on his forehead, before walking away, "Guess he can't be helped. For now."

He then disappeared into thin air, leaving behind a gust of cold wind.

...

Izuku collapsed into the ground, barely breathing. He thought the regimen wasn't that intense, but his soaked, sweat filled clothes tells him otherwise.

"You look like shit." Yagi teased, "Told you, it's not easy."

"Sensei..you are truly-"

"-an imbecile, I know." Yagi finished for the kid.

"...I was going to say incredible." Izuku corrected the older man.

"Oh." Yagi raised his brow, before sitting besides the kid, who was laying on the vast amount of grass below him.

He rubbed the kid's hair, "That amount of determination is going to make me cry, brat. The fact that you passed the training regimen with flying colours, really shows your commitment."

Izuku sat down, "It does?"

"Yeah." Yagi patted the boy in the back, "And who knows? You might be an even greater hero than I am..than anyone, really."

"You're giving me too much credit, Sensei." Izuku declined the compliment, but was grateful nonetheless, "But thank you."

"Hey, I didn't say anything that wasn't true. You got heart, kid, I just.." Yagi shook his head, looking away, "Nevermind."

"Is something the matter, Sensei?"

Yagi was silent for a few good minutes, before sighing, "You bore so many resemblances to him, it's not even funny."

"...you want to talk about him, Sensei?" Izuku asked.

"Nah." Yagi declined, "Not something worth to talk about. It's in the past."

"Right.." Izuku replied with slight disappointment.

He then stared at the orange sky, and at the center of his vision, the moon was visible...

With a large crack in the middle of it.

"Say, Sensei..." Izuku pointed at the moon, "Why is there a large crack in the middle of the moon? My history books mentioned that it only appeared thirty years ago."

Yagi was surprised by the sudden question, "Huh."

"Do you happen to have something to do with it, perhaps...?" Izuku asked, wary.

"It's..a long story." Yagi replied.

"I can handle it. You know how much I can speak what's on my mind." Izuku spoke.

Yagi looked at the moon for a while, before saying, "There was this lunatic, goes by the name 'All For One'."

"All For One? You mean the villain that has been missing for thirty years?" Izuku asked in surprise.

"Yep. That same villain. Said he was bored with life or the sort. He came to me with this creepy smile of his, told me to stimulate his existence like I'm some form of stress reliever, it's crazy." Yagi continued, "We fought, and I felt this strange sensation that I shouldn't give it my all. He then kicked me all the way into the moon, and I simply just jumped my way back here."

Izuku was shocked by this. The fact that Yagi survived the vacuum of space is fascinating by itself, what with the amount of deadly cosmic radiation that are rampant there.

And that was the cause of the large crater? His Sensei was truly strong.

"Then I ended up killing him. I had no choice, he was going to obliterate the entire country into smithereens." Yagi sadly said.

"Wait, he's dead?"

"Yep." Yagi confirmed.

"But how come-"

"No one ever knew?" Yagi let out a half hearted laugh, "I hid it for a reason. If the public knows I killed that guy, no one would ever treat me like a fraud. Only a selectful few knows, but I told them to keep it a secret."

Izuku nodded, taking the information in without a problem, "See, I knew that you weren't a fraud from the start."

"No one's gonna believe you, Izuku." Yagi patted the kid in the back, "Even if you told them I killed that guy, it's too late for that now."

"Were you lonely all this time?" Izuku suddenly asked.

Yagi was taken aback. Lonely?

"Nah. Why would I be lonely? That assistant of mine is enough company for me." Yagi shrugged.

"He wasn't enough, I can tell." Izuku replied, showing his doubt.

"..." Yagi didn't respond with anything else. He simply only stood up, "Wanna go to an all-you-can-eat buffet? You're gonna need all the calories to make up for the exercise that you did today."

Izuku knew that Yagi didn't want to talk about it, so he simply dropped the topic. He quickly stood up, enthusiastically saying, "Sure!"

As they walked away, there was nothing left on the park, except for a few children..

And the moon, remaining static in the sky. As second passes by, suddenly...

A hand emerged out of the dark side of the moon.

TO BE CONTINUED! (A little tease there. Sorry for the shorter chapter by the way.)
