...

Yagi scrolled through the page, moving his cursor to the middle of the screen, which has a site with the title...

"How to appease a teenager..." Yagi mouthed the title, before clicking into it. Aw man, these better not be a guide containing advises that he could bet has heard of in somewhere else. This better be something groundbreaki-

He halted himself when the thing gave him the same regurgitated advise once again.

"Videogames this, videogames that, how many times do I have to tell you that the kid isn't even interested in that sort of thing?" Yagi grumbled to himself, before moving his cursor to the back button, "Man, why do I even bother..I never had kids before, let alone knowing how to deal with them. Freaking obsolete sites.."

But before he could click, something piqued his interest at the bottom.

'You could try to be his wingman'

"A wingman?" Yagi's lips quirked into an amused smile, "Oh-ho, a wingman. Why didn't I think of that?"

Something popped in his mind, "That Jirou kid Izuku's been hanging around with lately..."

He then scrolled down, humming the words as follows, "At the age of adolescence, people usually are interested in finding their own soulmates. Their actions are led by their raging hormones. Oftenly, when teenagers see their potential love interest, their body would release something called 'dopamine', or one would dub them, the 'feel-good' hormo- okay this is taking too long." He decided to stop, "I know these already. Narrowing it down, so basically...I gotta be the wingman for Izuku."

"Yeah, that's it! That could be the answe-!"

"Sensei!" A voice came followed with the noise of a door creaking.

That voice almost gave Yagi a heart attack, prompting him to shut his laptop down, "Y- yeah?!"

"Did I startle you, Sensei?"

"You didn't knock, sherlock." Yagi deadpanned.

"I apologies for my intrusion. It seems that you're scrolling through your personal computer in peace. I was quite foolish to not notice-"

"It's fine." Yagi cut the kid off.

"Ah." Izuku then eyed the laptop, "I don't mean to pry, but..um..what were you searching? I mean, maybe it has something to do with your mysterious power.."

"No, nothing of the sort." Yagi then stood up from the couch, "Were you having a sleepover on your house with that friend of yours?"

"Indeed. It was quite the time, I must admit. I enjoyed every single moment." Izuku smiled.

"And what kind of activities did you two do while you were with her?"

"Studying."

Yagi's eyes dropped, his brows forming a straight line, "Seriously?"

"Positive."

"Look, I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but, dude, your pastimes sucks. I mean, if that friend of yours were spending her time with anyone else like that, she would've ditched them at the first second." Yagi spoke, "Why don't you two go to some place and play some arcade games or...watch movies?"

"We are not dating." Izuku replied with a flat tone.

"Brat, you know well that's not what I meant."

"I didn't have the money to afford such a thing."

Yagi patted the kid, "You could've just asked."

"You mean-"

"Yes. Me. For the budget. Really, I don't mind. What do you wanna do? Movies? Arcade games? Theme parks? Theme rides?" Yagi asked again.

"It's..quite complicated for me to choose. I don't even know what Jirou-" Izuku suddenly stopped, his eyes widening, like an idea abruptly popped into his mind.

"That look says otherwise, does it?"

"She likes music." Izuku replied, "What activities do you suggest that has something to do with it?"

"A musical concert." Yagi pointed out with a wide smile, "That Amai Mask guy is having a concert in a week's time to promote his newly released album. I'm sure she's going to like it."

"I would love to go there with her but..." Izuku looked down, "Sensei, is it really okay for me to not be mindful of what I ask?"

"Kid, it's fine. Thing's not even that expensive. It's not like I'm buying you your own personal music studio." Yagi reassured.

Izuku looked up at him, his smile widening, "I'm grateful, Sensei. You're so kind towards me when I've been nothing but a burd-"

"Don't finish that." Yagi cut the kid short, "You're in your insecurity phase again. Snap out of it."

Izuku was silent for a moment, not speaking a word.

"Something on your mind?"

He exhaled, before speaking, "I feel guilty, for forcing myself into your life, into your home, as your disciple. I know it's selfish, I just... I've always looked up to you, like you were a beacon of light when I was stranded on the void of darkness. I tried to reach for it, but you were so reluctant to take me in, and I'm...I feel like I should just...cut this off."

Yagi stood there, taking all what Izuku just said in.

He took a step forward, his eyes locked onto Izuku's. It's been a long time since he has to do this, to try to console someone.

He placed his hand on the teen's shoulder, "You don't have to cut this off if you don't want to."

"Why? Am I not saddling you with my baggage, and-"

"No. I mean, at first, I thought of you as a nuisance, but like, nah, that's just my selfishness speaking. I kind of gotten used to it, you being in this house and all, and I think I get why you do it."

"..." Izuku didn't speak a word.

"But if you do want to cut it off, I won't pressure you. Just know that my phone number is an open book whenever you want to, you know, get a pep talk or something, but warning though, I'm super, super bad at it." Yagi almost laughed in amusement, but suppressed it.

"Do you not see me as a burden?" Izuku asked.

"No. You're just annoying at times, but, not even close to being a burden." Yagi replied.

Izuku looked tense, his eyes darting to the floor. He couldn't bring himself to speak. He just felt even more guilty, thinking about how his Sensei is willing to throw his money away just for him.

It's almost nauseating, how a geeky, nerdy kid like him managed to draw out the heart of the most talented, powerful hero in the entire world. He might as well consider himself to be a lucky case.

"My apologies for the sudden downer, Sensei." Izuku sighed, before looking away, "I should shower for now."

"Sure. Don't forget to come back here, I prepped us both a dinner." Yagi reminded him, to which the boy responded with a nod.

He then strolled away into the bathroom's direction, preparing to take off his clothes, grabbing a towel and letting it dangle behind his shoulder.

Tomorrow's the day he starts training again, and he for one, is eager to see how the training will play out.

But then, a knock was heard.

...

"Warning, unidentified massive lifeform are approaching at approximately fifty kilometres per hour. Judging by the distance, the time they would cover to reach the city is approximately fifty minutes." A voice from one of the devices in a pole came out, "Their heat waves are travelling at a rapid pace. If they get even closer, their presence alone would melt everything on it's proximity. It is advisable for the Hero Commission to send heroes as soon as possible."

A jet flew past the device, leaving behind a gust of wind as it kept on playing the warning audio on repeat.

When the jet reached the vicinity where the creature is last seen, from below the jet, a door-like slide was opened, and something ejected below it.

A figure with a black jacket hovered in the air, covered with green aura. The jacket immediately flew away in the air, revealing a curly green haired woman with another black jacket inside with three cuts extending all the way from her waist.

She landed beneath the massive creature, crossing her arms and scowling, "You got a good reason for interrupting my time with my sister?"

The gigantic monster released a steam of heat from it's nostrils, as it leaned forward, the spikes in his spine getting more visible in Tatsumaki's point of view as it bent it's body, "Are you here to challenge me, human?"

"I can't challenge something that is significantly weaker than me." Tatsumaki retorted with a slight curl on her lips, a smug smirk was formed.

Before the creature can respond with a snarky remark of it's own, Tatsumaki's phone suddenly buzzed.

But it continued regardless, "You listen here, you tiny sucking parasite! I was sent by a higher being free from the boundaries of space and time to eradicate the continuous disease you call the 'human race'-!"

"Huh?!" Tatsumaki yelled to her flip phone, "You want me to go back already?! Do you not want me to deal with this pesky monster first?!"

"-Your race's growth as a whole can prove to be problematic to the flow of the universe! The highest being has considered your so-called genetic mutations known as 'quirks' to be a potential threat to all the cosmos! Therefore I am here to-!"

"-Then why did you sent me all the way here if you want the other heroes to come and deal with it?! Ughhhhh, you Hero Commission folks and your indecisiveness.." Tatsumaki grumbled under her breath, as the monster above began to ramble once again.

"Are you not listening, you maggot?!"

"Shut the fuck up!" Tatsumaki screamed, having enough of this farce, "Don't you see that I'm having a call right now?"

"..." The giant monster's lips were sealed.

"Look, I'm dealing with this monster whether you like it or not, so don't call me!" Tatsumaki pressed the hang up button, before returning her attention back to the monster.

"Ya done?" The massive monster asked, leaning even closer to the point that his chin can touch the ground.

"What's with the chin? Trying to intimidate me? Am I supposed to be scared?" Tatsumaki taunted with her arms crossed.

"You think your inconsequential arsenal of abilities are enough to put me at bay, human?! Hah! Unless you can make a meteor fall down on me, the chances of you winning against me are rather slim!"

"Huh. Fine, I'll do that then." Tatsumaki flicked her wrist, her index finger pointing at the sky above.

"W- wait, what are you-" A large object suddenly struck him down from behind him, as it completely obliterated his body into pieces, it's blood splattered on each side of the crater.

"How about you take another three million year long nap?" Tatsumaki mocked, before floating away, "Now, The Hero Commission idiots..."

Her next stop is the headquarters.

...

"Soooooo, you just wind up in front of my house because you were just taking a normal stroll." Yagi said with a deadpan look, "I don't buy it."

The woman in question replied, "Of course I'm fucking with you, I came here to see you. It's been a long time."

"Who told you I was in here, though?" Yagi asked.

"I prefer to keep my source of information anonymous." Nana said.

"Well, isn't that creepy." Yagi said nervously.

"Toshi, we haven't seen each other in so long and the first thing you do after seeing me is to be wary of me?" Nana said with slight disappointment in her voice.

"Hey, you'll never know, shapeshifting quirks aren't exactly uncommon." Yagi shrugged, "But besides that, if you're really her, I'm thrilled to see you again."

"Bring it in!" Nana stretched her arms forward, causing Yagi to shift away in confusion, mouthing a little 'eh?'.

"It's an invitation, you dolt. Don't you want a little hug?"

"Eh, it's a little weird." Yagi replied.

"You acting like you never hugged someone before."

"I've never hugged you before, though."

"Okay, fine." Nana said, straightening her arms, "Mind if I come in?"

"Oh, sure sure, I don't mind. I got someone inside though." Yagi replied, "Currently taking a shower right now."

As they walked into the living room, Nana sat on the other end of the couch, while Yagi brought the both of them a cup of tea, "So, you came here as a friendly courtesy, or do you want anything else?" He asked.

"Just to see you, of course."

"And this is the part where I say I don't really really trust you." Yagi raised his brow, "Something like this doesn't just come out of the blue."

"..." Nana then exhaled, "Fine. I came here partially not of my own accord. Silverfang filled me in about your occupation as an assistant in UA."

"I saw that coming from a mile." Yagi shook his head, "I was basically coerced into doing this. Couldn't say no. They kept on persisting."

"Is that right?" Nana's brows bent upwards.

"You sound like you don't believe me."

"Of course not. Coming back to Mustafu isn't like you at all." Nana decided to be blunt, "I know that you prefer to keep your existence mostly anonymous to the public, but compromising it like this? Something concealed must be at play."

Yagi was about to say something, but Nana cut him off, "But no, we should just drop that. I'm here mostly because I want to meet you. I mean, I kinda miss you, kid."

"Oh well." He uttered, not sure of how to respond to that. Yagi then rubbed his chin, before something comes up in his mind, "Oh! Listen, since you live near the headquarters, you must know a lot about an incident that happened a week ago in there, something about an intruder."

"Oh, it's about Garou, is it?" Nana asked, her lips forming into a slight smile. It's like she knew something, "What's gotten you so interested?"

"Just curious. He sounds very, very troubled." Yagi said.

"Toshi." Nana suddenly said.

"What? Are you going to answer?"

"Listen here," Nana leaned forward, "Can you be honest with me?"

"Oookay, this seems a little weird, but do go on." Yagi replied with uncertainty.

"...the reason why you came here," Nana then continued, "Is it because of Gar-"

Then, her phone buzzed, cutting her off entirely. She opened it, before seeing the notification on the homescreen,

'To all pro-heroes, those who resigned included, are advised to attend an urgent meeting, which is being held on the headquarters this night.'

"Oh." Nana scoffed, before standing up, "Sorry to cut this conversation short, but this seems to be important."

"Something came up?" Yagi asked.

"Just check your phone. It should be there."

Yagi opened his phone, only to see the same notification on his homescreen, "...oh."

"Sensei!" A voice came from behind him. Yagi turned to greet the kid, "Yo."

Izuku's eyes then shifted to Nana, "...Is this the pro-hero, Floatie?"

"He seems to be knowledgeable when it comes to heroes." Nana perked her eyebrows in interest, "Anyway, are you coming?"

"I mean, if it's that important, sure?" Yagi shrugged, before turning his attention back to Izuku, "You coming with?"

"Yes, Sensei! it's getting kind of tedious around here anyway."

"Ouch." Yagi then turned his head back to Nana, "You think they allow kids in the headquarters?"

"As long as they have permission from a pro-hero, yeah, I think." Nana then walked away, "Come on, we gotta run. The Hero Commission is expecting us." She said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. The commission always annoyed her.

"Looks like dinner have to wait." Yagi sighed, "You don't mind, kid?"

"I'm not that hungry anyway." Izuku said as they both walked out of the door with Nana.
