"I do appreciate the warning General. Colonel Flagg is a tough nut to crack," Colonel Potter said into the phone, "And I'll also be ready when General Stover gets here. Things aren't too busy right now, but you know how fast that can change."

"Yes, General, I'm happy for General Rice's promotion. Good man. Someone you could always count on. If you are saying that General Stover is a bit like General Rice, that does make me feel a bit better," Potter added, "Sir, thank you for keeping me in the loop." "Hawkeye, BJ," General Rice is being promoted and sent to Walter Reed. He was a terrific resource and always seemed to come through for us. His replacement, General Mark Stover, will be here tomorrow and stay for a couple days. He's doing the same for the other MASH units," Colonel Potter revealed.

"Trying to get the lay of the land?" BJ asked.

"That's right, BJ," Potter exclaimed, "He wants to get to know the people at each MASH. He served in a MASH type unit during World War II. Also supervised the medical side of the Berlin Airlift. Been in tight spaces before, so I'm hoping we hit it off."

"His first move is a smart one. Know who you are dealing with," Hawkeye remarked.

"Exactly," spoke Colonel Potter, "And we're his first stop.

"
