"How's Mr. Davenport doing?" Bree asked Chase, as she walked out of the hyperlift into Mission Command.
Chase looked up at his sister, from his chair at the cyber desk, he blinked away the last remnants of sleep, before looking over at Douglas.
Donald had collapsed almost immediately after Douglas, he, and Ellie had teleported back from Frozen Rose's ice cave.
All of a sudden, a low rumble echoed throughout Mission Command, Bree super sped over to stand behind Chase, as her younger brother frantically looked at the readings coming up on the cyber desk.
"Wha…what's going on..?" Bree asked.
"I…I don't know…Mr. Davenport's vibration powers activated again…"
"Douglas," Chase shouted.
"On it, kid," Douglas nodded, as he began creating his force field around Donald.
"Come on, Donnie…you need to control your powers," the echo of rumbles grew quieter until they stopped. Douglas let his sparkling force field dissolve around his older brother. He didn't understand it completely, but he seemed to be able to tap into his siblings powers and calm them when their power surged, like Donnie's were.
"I don't understand why Donnie's powers keep surging?" Douglas questioned, as he walked over to the cyber desk, to stand behind Chase. He looked over the readings from Donnie's power surge that came up on the screen.
"I don't understand why Donnie doesn't seem to be able to control his powers," Douglas questioned, looking over at his brother.
"We know that when Mr. Davenport destroyed the energy crystal, his powers, as well as Ellie's, were enhanced," Chase said, "but what if it's more than that, what if the energy released from the crystal actually flooded their powers with dark energy?"
"You might be on to something Chase," Douglas said, walking back over to sit beside Donald. "Dark Chaos was able to manipulate the light energy in the crystal into dark energy, maybe Donnie and Ellie getting blasted with so much dark energy, maybe the dark energy has been fighting against their light energy powers." Douglas reasoned, trying to make sense of what was happening to his siblings powers.
"So is Dark Chaos somehow activating the dark energy now?" Bree asked.
"Maybe."
Just then, a low rumble could be heard echoing around Mission Command, Donald's vibration powers had activated again, Douglas looked down at his brother, ready to activate his force field around Donnie, when his brother's eyes began to open and he sat up.
"Mr. Davenport," Bree exclaimed, "You're awake." She was about to super speed to her father's side, when Chase grabbed her arm, right as a shockwave blast flew towards the two siblings, luckily Chase was able to activate his force field around both himself and Bree.
"Donnie?" Douglas questioned, sensing something was wrong. Donald turned to face his brother, his eyes sparking with an eerie green electricity. Donald was about to send Douglas across the room with a shockwave blast, but Douglas hit him first with an energy blast. Donnie fell to the floor, Douglas trapped his brother in his force field, and tried to calm Donnie's powers, but something was wrong, he couldn't sense Donnie's powers like he could before.
"Guys, I can't stop him!" Douglas shouted.
