"Stand up tall. It's time to travel all over the place. *Dimension after dimension is crossed as a calendar flips by* Wherever we're needed, we're going to fight. Enemies in large numbers. *Side by side images of American Nazis and Don Thousand's forces appear* Hearts are breaking, communities are being ravaged. We're going to be heroes. *The BRAINS Collective gather on their space station and prepare for battle.* Gonna put everything on the line because there's no choice. Do nothing, we will lose. *Someone naps as people around them rush to save innocent lives.* Do something, we may win. Fighting is what's necessary. *Swiftdrawer gets out of bed, clad in their armor, cape, and more, yawns, and puts on a determined expression while holding their sword.*There's no other choice. We didn't choose to live in yet another era of conflict and suffering. *A transition of Class 1-A learning about past heroes and villains to fighting the Paranormal Liberation Front in Tokyo's Juban district with the Sailor Guardians happens.* All we wanted to do was smile. Here come the tyrants, they seek to impose their authority and destroy everything and everyone in their way. *Don Thousand, Black Frieza, Mr. Heartland, Yappa Yappa, Number 96, and more stare at the ruins of a city while smiling.* Domination, obliteration, that's what they seek. We're going to be heroes. *The Integrity Knights, Avengers, Justice League, Akatsuki, Athena's Saints, and more are shown gearing up for various battles.* Stand strong and get yourself ready for one hell of a war. I've suffered too much, I've been lied to, I've been manipulated. *Kirito has some doubts but is comforted by some of his closest loved ones.*"

We didn't choose to live in yet another era of conflict and suffering. *Snapshots of various characters living their normal lives before they became heroes intersect with snapshots of them fighting various battles* All we wanted to do was smile. Here come the tyrants, they seek to impose their authority and destroy everything and everyone in their way. *The Doktor alongside a group of corrupted politicians arrive to a vital location.* Domination, obliteration, that's what they seek. We're going to be heroes. *Notable Rune-Midgarts residents fight in the ancient city of Glast Heim against interdimensional enemies.*

Can't afford to lose our fighting spirits. *Libra Dohko, Master Wu, Athena, Whis, Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, and others lead instruction on lessons about patience and other virtues on a day of rest.* No matter what we sacrifice, we have to be there as protectors of what we cherish. Get ready, get ready now. *A group of new heroes are encouraged to get up to fight by figures from across the multiverse.* Pour everything you feel into the war ahead. They want war, let's give it to them and do our very best. Let's put our minds and hearts together and fight for the future. *The entire BRAINS Collective engage in a stand off with the enemy, ready to give it their all.*"

We escaped the Infinityverse and many of us found our physical bodies inside of machines in some kind of laboratory when we woke up. Breaking out was useless. We beat the death game and managed to bring everyone who was killed in it back to life. Quinella, Subtilizer, POH, Death Gun, Sugou/Oberon, Lightning, Windy, HitTheTarget, Veeva Dash, Denton, Herobrine, Entity303, Erebus, and Malacoda are no longer villains we have to worry about(FOR NOW). All of their fates have been sealed due to what we did to them in the Infinityverse. They perished and were trapped inside what remains of that game. Minecraftia and the other worlds/universes have been restored to normal, no longer forcibly fused together with Duel Links acting as the anchor and Aincrad as the central connection point. Strangely, it seems I switched to my original body seconds before we were logged out of the Infinityverse by Akihiko Kayaba. And switched back in time for him to log us out. I had a lot of trouble sleeping in my original body when I went to bed and eventually switched back. It bothers me. No, it worries me. It's a bad sign as I had had the same problem the previous night I slept in that body. I eventually managed to sleep peacefully but it was hard to. I wish I could fully understand what's going on. Could it be that I contracted Covid in my original body and Long Covid manifested as difficulty sleeping? If that's true, then some things are worse than I thought. Maybe it would have been better if I didn't go to that family gathering that ended hours before I finally fell asleep the first night. Unfortunately, I can't do much about that in this body since well, the whole being trapped inside machine thing. (Update: sleep is better.) How in the world are we supposed to get out?

Someone established a neural link between all of us for the time being. We are quickly finding out that there's no possible way for any of us to bust out of the machines and then figure out where we are exactly. It became obvious to me that my past foresights about this point in time will probably be mostly false. Well, at least I've been getting some things right in the midst of all of this. For hours, we try to come up with unthinkable ways to bust out but nothing works. And then, something happens. Some familiar individuals bust into the laboratory and one of them releases all of us. We all get up from the machines we've been trapped in for who knows how long. Snarky smirks: "Hey everyone! Glad to see you're all still in one piece! You're welcome for busting you out btw!" The others give greetings too: Naofumi, Filo, Raphtalia, Jesse, Olivia, Tsunade, and Deadpool. Dominic yawns: "Are any of you going to tell us where we even are? This whole thing is such a nap causation." Minenabis and Abstractoa appear. Pirate Blaster says: "Arr! It's been forever since any of us have really seen either of you, especially you, Minenabis!" Minenabis: "That is true. I apologize but watching over space and time with an emphasis on time is a huge responsibility. It is why the Clock Guardians exist. Even I can only do so much. As I said long ago to some of you, I am unable to intervene directly in time related matters due to a contract between myself and other ultimate beings. Or rather, that was how it was until The Shadow was split apart, causing that contract to be nullified so now, I will be more involved with the multiverse." Abstractoa adds: "I was unable to assist you in the Infinityverse. That is due to the duty of non-interference as well as something else. The Light temporarily became 'too pure' so to speak and started attacking myself and Minenabis to purify the multiverse. We were able to resolve that but it took some time."

Minenabis sighs: "There is more as well. Allow me to explain what else has happened since all of you were trapped inside of that death game. This laboratory is an eternal place that is meant to be used for new discoveries by those who have transcended life, death, and mortality as well as gods like us. However, the growing power of Don Thousand corrupted this place. We only just expelled the corruption as it has stopped any attempts to rescue any of you before now. He used the dark desires of many mortals to aid in corrupting this place, all in an attempt to make sure none of you could ever leave to combat his forces. He even appointed Dr. Gero to watch this place. Dr. Gero fled before he could be captured by any of us. That's not all. Many universes have been under attack by Don Thousand's forces. In Miitopia and on Earth, almost a month has passed since you were trapped inside that game. It should be September 18th on Earth now. Additionally, someone managed to trap those of you who teleported to such universes as one of the Minecraftian universes here by manipulating the destination you were sent to to this location. When you teleported, you were knocked out instantly upon your arrival here. After that, you were logged into Minecraftia as avatars. It was very well thought out and neither of us could stop whoever was responsible due to The Light's destructive phase. As I mentioned, many universes were attacked."

Abstractoa continues: "We could barely spend a moment helping until today. We sought out those who were lucky enough to not be trapped here as our foes made some miscalculations in their plans. And with their help, we came here. Thankfully, we succeeded despite all the corruption fueled by the darkness of mortals that stood in our way. Even a number of mortals who are in any of the Afterlife Realms had their darkness extracted. Don Thousand has been plotting behind the scenes for a very long time. As a being of chaos and the Barian god, his corruption was even a challenge for us to break without disrupting the harmony of this entire realm we're currently in." Tsunade asks: "So you mean that this ancient laboratory is part of something far bigger? From what we've been taught back in Konoha by various individuals, I assumed we were just in a pocket dimension. It appears it's more complicated than that." "That is correct. Heroic mortals, allow I, Abstractoa to welcome you to the Nexus. It is the most vital realm in the entire multiverse. I was one of many gods who helped create it as I have in every other cycle of existence up until now." All Might speaks up: "Are you saying that this place hasn't existed the entire time this multiverse has existed?" "You're right, All Might. The rapid expansion of the multiverse into multiple separate planes of existence over several eons required the construction of this realm. Even now, it remains important. In fact, the place outside of time where Gorganan and The Shadow were fought against is an outer part of the Nexus. We have kept the Nexus secret from even most of the most heroic of mortals for countless eons. It exists outside of time even as time continues to flow outside of it, inside of the Time Stream. The Time Stream itself contains the entire multiverse but organized by time instead of space. It is one of several ways the multiverse organizes itself at the same time. The Nexus keeps the Time Stream stable and is itself an anchor to the Afterlife Realms, the Creativity Realm, the Nightmare Realm, and other dimensions."

Beerus says: "There has to be more about this place than just that." Minenabis speaks again: "I will explain from here. You can find all recorded histories of every universe here as well as the future as it is set to occur. Why do we explain the Nexus now? It's not just because you're here or that some fiction authors have written some depiction of it under various names. Our enemies seek to use it to help take over the entire multiverse because it's power is far greater than even the legendary Number Cards when put together. The corruption of this laboratory was step 1. Realms of the gods are the closest to this dimension. If someone like Don Thousand gains control of the Nexus, those realms would fall easily to them. One can even use the Nexus to rewrite the past, present, or future. The reason why Pmurt Nedib never sought to conquer this dimension nor the SDL or Gorganan or Goku Black is because of how restricted information on this dimension is. Right now, legends of the past are defending their respective home universes in the place of the BRAINS Collective. They will eventually have to return to the Afterlife Realms as they have only been granted temporary life in the Mortal Realms. It's all we could do with so little time to help in any other way besides fighting against The Light and returning them to their senses. I apologize if this information is too much for any of you. It is vital we share this now so you all know what's truly at stake this time around." Athena speaks next: "If the Nexus is what they seek to conquer, why are our enemies attacking many universes?" "Some universes contain the keys that are required to gain full control of the Nexus. To make matters worse, they aren't satisfied with just attacking the Nexus. They want to conquer and destroy as much as they can all while developing plans to conquer this dimension too. Across the multiverse, there are thousands of keys. Each of the dimensions BRAINS Collective members are from houses a key each and to get to those keys, the protectors of life in each universe must be left unable to fight back against our foes when they reach those keys. Another reason why this laboratory was used to trap so many of you."

Abstractoa adds: "Each god controls a small portion of the Nexus. But that control can be overrided with the keys. The god who controlled this laboratory was destroyed some time ago in a brutal conflict. You must all understand. The Nexus is itself beyond mortal comprehension in size. The Nexus functions just like a big machine, allowing the Time Stream as well as the multiverse to again: be stable. However, when someone disrupts that stability, the structural integrity of this realm is compromised. It is very easy for top gods like the two of us to disrupt it as well with our powers so we had to hold back in helping rescuing those of you who were trapped in here. There are many uses the Nexus can have. So many in fact that there is an assembly of gods known as the Multiversal Council that meets every billion years. It is held in the central power region of the Nexus, a neutral area not controlled by any god. All gods are invited to it. The next meeting is soon. That being said, we expect most BRAINS members to become qualified to join the meeting. With the ultimate battle for the future on the horizon, it was long decided that this era would be when the next meeting is held. As such, every god that attended last time was asked to raise and champion mortal heroes to eventually lead them to gaining god like status. Individuals such as Goku, Vegeta, Dyspo, and Jiren are very close to qualifying for the meeting. It will only be a few years in Swiftdrawer's Earth's time before the meeting takes place. Athena, Beerus, and other gods who have only become truly active in the multiverse since the last meeting, you will soon find out what part of the Nexus you control. Right now, every BRAINS member is hearing this conversation one way or another." Suddenly, I feel something very bad and clutch my chest. "What the hell am I feeling?" Others react to feeling the same thing. Minenabis says: "The real war for the multiverse has now begun. Don Thousand's forces were taking it easy until just now. I will awaken all of the Clock Guardians who have been put to sleep. They have been resting until this moment: the moment they're needed most."

Abstractoa speaks again: "I believe it is worth mentioning before we provide all of you some vital assistance a few noteworthy facts. First of all, yes we have needed you all to gain god like status in time for the ultimate battle. The reason I failed to mention this is because the time wasn't right to reveal there was more to my urgency regarding all of you gaining god level strength. When you reach such a thing to a high enough point, you will be given new responsibilities and unlock the opportunity to earn immortality if earning it isn't required for you to get to that point in the first place. There is something else about each of you as well that you must hear. That feeling all of you felt indicate you have all been connected to the multiverse and with it, you have finally gained the full responsibility and duty of protecting it like never before. As such, each of you has been granted a mark on your chests. Those marks will cause pain to call to each of you when your help is needed somewhere in the multiverse. Each mark is linked by a communication only gods as powerful as the two of us can understand. This all means that you will find sometimes yourselves being called to help somewhere whenever a situation gets urgent enough at different times based on what you are able to do and are doing when help is needed alongside many other factors such as what you have knowledge in and any special connections you have. This will continue until the war is over. After that, they will stop until the next multiverse threatening crisis begins."

They pause before continuing: "The next piece of information you must know is that there are individualized ways for all of you to reach god like status. Finally, you will all be directed to train in a pocket dimension where time flows at a different rate than anywhere else, even the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The Infinityverse death game has inhibited your individual paths of training greatly and we must make haste to prepare to send all of out wherever you're first needed to help. We don't have much time so all of you must enter that pocket dimension in a few moments. Your marks will not help you in your training. They do channel your life force to an extent and are shaped differently based on your specialized classes but they do not grant you any extra strength or abilities. You must treat them with respect as they were granted to you by the combined efforts of many gods during the time in which all of you were trapped in the Infinityverse. Minenabis, did I neglect to mention anything?" "No, you told them everything they needed to know. Now, let us provide them the promised assistance before we open the portal." "Of course. We mustn't ever go back on our words as gods." Both of them go around, using their respective abilities to cause the stiffness in our muscles as well as any body and gear decay plus hunger and dehydration to be quickly taken care of with magic. For example, any rust on any of what we had on or with us was reversed in molecular state to return to being metal. After that is all taken care of, we're all in much better condition. Minenabis speaks: "We shall open the portal to the pocket dimension now." Abstractoa nods and the 2 of them work together to open the portal.

Once we stepped inside, we found ourselves alongside every member of BRAINS who wasn't in the laboratory. The reunion was nice but we had training to do. The pocket dimension had everything we could possibly need. I wasn't exaggerating. Even the most extreme training stuff was available. And for a time, we all trained inside that place to resharpen our skills and refine them further. But then, the 2 gods of unfathomable abilities and responsibilities came inside the pocket dimension just as we all finished training for a time. Abstractoa says: "BRAINS Collective, we are unable to allow you to train here any longer. We realize it was short, only a couple weeks to you. But there was no other choice. There's now only time for you to get a full night of sleep before you are sent to where you are needed. The multiverse maps in the BRAINS bases will guide you to where all of you need to individually be. I altered them slightly to resonate with your markings. In simpler terms, think of it like the Friendship Map from Equestria." Applejack replies: "Every BRAINS member knows about the Friendship Map by now, I reckon. I'll be darn touting! That works out perfectly!" "Arr! I agree! Don't you too, Thrashbeak?!" "Thrashbeak agrees too! Squawk!" Not that long later, we all have a feast together before getting some sleep. It's nice to not have to use a Sleep Replacement Potion because sleep is actually a favorite thing of mine. It's being comforted in the embrace of my armor, cape, and sword in this body or several of my plushies and more in my other body. It's a peaceful state that I get into after letting my mind wander, so relaxing, so pleasant. I hope that incidents of trouble sleeping for me go down in the future. Life is so much better when you're well rested.

I had come to missing sleep a little bit in this body after using Sleep Replacement Potions so much. Sleep is one of the best parts of life. I slept well in the bed I shared with Herbsalvin during our time in the pocket dimension. After the next morning in the dimension began, we woke up at a good time. The training of the day before filled my thoughts and dreams with excitement. After we had breakfast, it was time for us to be sent away from the Nexus. Minenabis personally makes sure our Quantum Leap devices are fully functioning before they and Abstractoa joined myself and the others headed for the Miitopia BRAINS base in a show of solidarity with Mii World. Once we arrived, we headed straight for the digital map of the known multiverse. After some time, I found out that I had to go to Raphtalia's World. That took some effort as I am always wearing my armor and I needed to show my mark to get the new thing to work for me for the first time. My mark's a big sword with runes underneath it and darkness and creative stuff above it. As I prepared to teleport away, I smiled at the others: "I will do my very best on the mission. It's our duty to safeguard the multiverse and release the burden that was put on the past heroes of various universes after we were trapped in that death game. I swear by Graceful Protector that I shall do what I can in Raphtalia's World to save it, no matter who I face and who I work with." With that said, I teleport away. I end up in what appears to be a forest. My mark hurts again but this time, more strongly. I feel a pulling in a specific direction and go there but not before teleporting in Chocolate the horse. As my duel runner got totaled some time ago(and has yet to be repaired due to everything that's happened) and Herbsalvin was sent to a different universe than me, all I had was some ender pearls, Quantum Leap, and Chocolate.

I make sure the saddle and armor on her is comfortable for her before mounting. "Ha! Chocolate! We must go that way! I have a feeling I can't teleport any closer to where we're needed. That's what I chose to ride you the rest of the way." We soon ride into the very city from which the Kingdom Of Melromarc gets its namesake. Of course, the kingdom itself is named after the Melromarc Royal Family. The city is on fire and in ruins. I hop off Chocolate: "Chocolate, even little Andromeda is able to fight. Are you able to fight too now that we've escaped that Infinityverse?" In response, Chocolate finds a random metal pole nearby and puts it in her mouth with her hooves. "Now that's unexpected but pretty cool. Now then, we better find the enemy and any survivors along the way to them." It was a scene from a war film but worse. Chocolate and I walked side by side carefully. My keen eyes darted around for any sign of danger. But then, we ended up running into Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo who were not reacting well to the situation at all. I give a expression that shows I'm feeling a lot of the same things right now. "It's you 3. I don't need to ask how you got here. Someone brought you here after it was found out this world was attacked. What cruelty.. This war is far worse than even the Miitopian Civil War was. Our enemies had no regard for what they have destroyed so far. We must find survivors and take down our foes while we're at it." Kirito, Sinon, Hearts(who also joined our ranks much like Fu surprisingly did), and Alice also show up. Sinon looks around: "We better begin quickly. This isn't a good sign. I'm still getting used to being my avatar in real life but with Hecate at my side, I know I can do this."

"No matter what happens, we will defeat these bastards and bring smiles back to the innocent in this world!" "It is our duty to protect this and all worlds! We shall not fail as long as we live!" "I'm ready for any fight. I've come a long way since I changed sides in the conflict I helped start." "Raphtalia, Filo, both of you know what to do. Everyone, let's move out! As the Shield Hero, I can't let anyone else get hurt!" "You have my knighthood fighting alongside you! Even if we fail, they'll have to pry our bodies in order to make us truly fail! Haaaaaa! Let's go! The future is now and we must safeguard it with courage, bravery, dedication, and more! Let's do our best to ensure this battle is a loss for the enemy!" We ran together and soon found ourselves in the middle of a clash between Melomarc's guards and our enemies. We rush to the side of the Melomarc guards who mostly wear typical silver knight armor. Looking over at the enemies, we saw a lot of Obelisk Force's Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds as well as Roget, brainwashed Sector Security's Goyo monsters, and a few members of the Black Circle. "Damn it! We came just in time. If we had been any later, the guards would have all been completely pulverized by this assembly of problems stemming from Leo Akaba's original plan to unite the dimensions. *blocks some attacks* Wait, Abstractoa and Minenabis forgot to mention the One Supreme World ideology and how it fits into the war now that we finally know our enemy's ambitions are more vast than we originally thought due to my foresights.."

The person who looks to be the guard captain yells: "Shield Hero! Thank goodness you're here! Who are all these strangers? Are they also from another world?" Naofumi replies: "They're from different worlds but now's not the time for this. Air Strike Shield!" Naofumi wipes out some of the Hunting Hounds. Roget speaks up loud enough for everyone to hear: "Well, well, well, what do we have here? More nuisances in the way of our plans? We will conquer and destroy every single universe! And we will bring all dimensions together into a single supreme world that Don Thousand will rule over for eternity!" "Like hell we'll let that happen!" "You have clearly underestimated us. *Sinon destroys a lot of monsters with Hecate.* Now that we're here, you won't be able to succeed in your plans." I look around us: "Damn it! Look at the casualties.. And who knows how many innocent people are trapped in the rubble around us. They're giving us too many problems to deal with here. And I doubt this is the only location that is being attacked.." Roget laughs: "That's right! This entire world will soon be ours! It will be easy to conquer the rest of this dimension once the conquest is complete!" An Obelisk Force member yells out: "Roget! What do we do?! These newcomers are decimating our monsters!" "It shouldn't be possible but it seems that even those with their own monsters can destroy ours. Use Polymerization and summon the Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems! That's an order! Sector Security, you know what you must do instead!" We fight against the onslaught of enemies but casualties remain very high on our side. A lot of the guards were bleeding out and severely injuried. "Crap! If we don't do something, all of these people are going to die! Release Recollection!" Kirito's Night Sky Blade begins emitting the full power of the huge tree it was made from.

With it, he turns a lot of monsters that were coming after him into a big tree. Meanwhile, I cut, swung, and slashed at any foe who got too close. But there are too many for just us to handle on top of saving the lives of the guards. "Release Recollection! Go, my flowers!" "I won't miss a single shot!" Hearts powers up and starts taking the battle seriously but it was clear that that wasn't enough. Naofumi, Filo, and Raphtalia step up their game as well and synchronize their moves. I yell: "We might as well start spraying the guards with the regeneration and healing potions we all managed to bring! It's a good thing we still had so many left over from the missions after the Miitopian Civil War and before the Infinityverse! Get out of the way, enemies! I need some space to save their lives! I may not agree with monarchies as a whole but these guards want the best for the people and I can't let them die here! This dimension will become better defended for the next time you try to attack it! Or I'll be wrong and we'll still keep fighting! Just watch! Who the hell cares about structural damage at this point?! Buildings can be rebuilt but lives cannot be replaced! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 35!" My attack deals a lot of damage, wiping out a chunk of the enemy forces. But as quickly as they were destroyed, more came to take their place such as Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems and Goyo Kings. I grit my teeth, pull out the bag full of my healing and regeneration potions that was in my ender pouch, threw it over to the guards behind me, and yelled: "Catch! Distribute the potions! We'll hold the enemy back! We need all of you at your best to turn the tables in this battle! None of you are supposed to die today. The enemy is disrupting the natural flow of the multiverse your dimension is a part of!" The guard captain yells back: "I'll make sure all of my men are back in shape! Thank you!"

As I was doing all that, I let our foes just hit my armor. Not a scratch was put on it. I smirk at our foes: "You know, I'm really hard to kill when I'm already dead and my armor can withstand a lot of destructive force. I'm a knight of the people and my comrades and I won't let you get your way here or anywhere else in the multiverse for that matter!" I swing Graceful Protector with deadly accuracy and speed. But the number of foes coming at me increases faster than I can cut them up. Naofumi yells: "What the hell is going on?! It's like they're multiplying their numbers!" Sinon replies: "Our enemies must have been amassing a huge force right under our noses. If I had to guess, we're only seeing the beginning of the forces they brought to this world. We can't give up!" I recognize some of the incoming foes.. "Where did they acquire the tech and resources to build more of those damn ice androids? Yappa Yappa must have taken over whatever was left of the UMC throughout the multiverse. We didn't take or destroy all of it apparently. To make matters worse, the monsters just keep coming.." After 30 more minutes, the guard captain yells: "Retreat! We must go to the castle!" All of the guards retreat to Melomarc's castle. We are forced to retreat alongside them while fighting off the enemy. Chocolate easily finds me and urges me to ride her. As I ride her, I put away my sword and duo wield 2 guns. One is a brand new high powered gun. The other is my BRAIN Blaster. And with them, I start firing at the enemy to cut down their numbers a little bit. However, the Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems start to close in on all of us.. They were the ultimate weapon of Obelisk Force during their invasion of the Xyz Dimension and intrusions in the Synchro and Pendulum Dimensions. The monsters start releasing heavy fire on us, destroying anything around us.

Naofumi was pushed to his limits trying to stop the blasts from hitting anyone. Alice's sword's flowers helped a lot in that department. Filo yells: "Master! We need more help!" "I know, Filo!" I briefly wonder if I could use Enhance Armament or Release Recollection with Graceful Protector. I foresee myself being able to but it isn't a Divine Object so it just won't work that way. A projection of Yappa Yappa appears in the sky. He grins wickedly: "Having fun over there, heroes?! I know the answer is no! You know, I wish I could just kill all of you slowly and painfully but I'm having my own fun in another dimension! You should know that the United Mining Company is now all mine and that there's no one coming to help you! We're attacking so many dimensions that anyone who could possibly resist us is already doing so and can't defend anywhere besides what they're defending now! Enjoy dying painful deaths alongside the pathetic innocent people! I hope to see you reborn as Barian soldiers! Bye!" The projection disappears. "Yappa Yappa.. We will stop you someday. But right now, we have to protect this world. Chocolate, I need you to gallop faster. We have to hurry to the castle. *activates duel disk* While I can't afford to take away the Artists from other battles, I can still use some of my cards to fortify the castle." Chocolate replies: "Right!" "It's good to hear you talk. But still, I can't keep shooting these foes forever. They're getting too close to us and we're constantly under threat of being blasted by those huge bulky nightmares with menacing eyes. One could be seen from kilometers away." "Don't worry, Swiftdrawer. We can do this!" "You're right. We can. It's fortunate Dominic and some others were able to create new armor for you based on the success of the armor made for so many Miitopians months ago." After a few minutes, we finally reach the castle. Kirito and Alice were the last ones to get into the castle grounds.

What appears to be a newly erected gate is closed right behind them but some of our foes still managed to get in before it was closed. "Continuous Spin Slash: 400!" The basic Spin Slash has become nothing to me in terms of performing it, even several hundred times over. I chose to use it so I wouldn't accidentally destroy any of the castle. The enemies who managed to get in were defeated. Most of them had to be killed as much as it pains me to say such a fact. The Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems tried to bust into the castle grounds. However, a barrier prevented them from moving forward. In fact, the barrier even limited the flow of sound from outside. Kirito breathed a sigh of relief: "I guess we can relax a little bit now." Sinon shakes her head: "No, Kirito. We still have important things to do. For example, we need to tend to the wounded. In our situation, we can't afford to go outside and rescue people unless we teleport. But we can't exactly do that here for reasons we don't yet know as you proved by trying to a few minutes ago." We hear footsteps. Raphtalia says: "It must be the Queen and Melty! They've come to see us." We all turn to in fact see both of them. The guards bow as well as Alice, and Naofumi's party. Their captain speaks: "Your majesty. Princess Melty." The Queen, Mirellia Q Melromarc has light skin, purple eyes, purple hair tied in a bob(I had no idea that term exists until I used a site to help me write the description of her appearance) with bangs that end at the collarbone, pale purple lipstick, and a full set of armor over her royal dress. Melty has long blue hair in curly pigtails, blue eyes, light skin, and a frilly style dress of various blues as well as white. She's only 10 or so so she's still a kid in many ways. Myself, Kirito, Sinon, Chocolate, and Hearts aren't exactly the type of individuals to bow for our own reasons. But the Queen doesn't seem to mind: "It's good to have all of you here. Our enemies are not of this world. The barrier will hold for some time but not forever."

Melty adds: "This is a serious situation. Naofumi, who are these strangers?" It turns out Naofumi's party were only missing for a few minutes in this dimension's time during the Infinityverse incident. A suddenly huge blast shakes the newly erected wall. I speak up: "I apologize for interrupting but this isn't exactly the time for introductions. All you need to know for now is that you can trust us. We're here to protect your world too. The barrier won't hold as long as you believe. These mechanical nightmares outside are incredibly powerful. They once brought the cities of an entire world in another dimension to ruin with only a few buildings intact in its capital of Heartland City. That city was colorful and vibrant. After the invasion, it lost nearly all of its color." The Queen replies: "I see. Then what do you suggest we do to fortify our defenses? It's clear to me you know a lot about the threat we face." "If you're okay with another location overlapping this castle, I can set something up to help." "What do you mean by this, mysterious knight from another world?" I pull up my helm so it's back over my forehead instead of over my mouth: "There we go, now I won't look so dangerous. Anyway, there's no time to explain even that. I just have to do it. I activate the action field Artistic Space Station! Watch as our surroundings transform into a space station of the future: showcasing the true power of creativity and imagination combined with scientific innovation and design!" The castle is replaced by the space station. The others are all shocked at what I have done. "This is.. How did you do that?" "Well, now that I've succeeded in pulling this off and it hasn't been penetrated already, I guess we do have some time to explain things and introduce ourselves. Im Swiftdrawer. Im a knight as you can see but there's more to me than that. That can be gone over another time. All you need to know is that my armor weighs 900 pounds and I'm formidable with my sword Graceful Protector amongst other weapons."

For the next hour, the wounded are tended to and discussions continue. But then, the first break in the space station occurs, revealing a menacing glowing red eye. I had long gotten off of Chocolate so I was able to gently stroke her fur and mane underneath her armor and saddle when she got frightened as a result of that. I sigh: "They're getting in now. Break time's over. It's time to fight for our lives as well as everyone else's in this world." I draw my guns again and start firing at the incoming wave of foes entering through the break in the action field alongside Sinon. When they get too close, I put 'em away in favor of drawing Graceful Protector and one of my daggers. The battle for Melromarc resumes. But even with the powers of the Queen and Melty now aiding us as well, we are still completely overwhelmed by the enemy. So many are brought down but they just keep coming and the blasts from the Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems force us on our toes. We fight for hours and exhaustion soon takes effect. The action field is broken enough to where it shatters, leaving the castle in one piece where it was. But we keep fighting even as the Sun begins to set. As night fell, something critical happened. Our foes managed to damage my armor enough to expose my robes and very skin in multiple areas. Before I knew it, so many enemies descended on me, hellbent on ripping me to shreds or some equivalent to that. In seconds, more of my armor was broken and I started bleeding heavily. I dropped Graceful Protector in a puddle of my own blood before collapsing and falling face first into that puddle. I struggled to try to get back up. But it was no use. And then, the Doktor yells: "Move out of the way, monsters and others! I need to get close to Swiftdrawer! It's all part of my plan!" I'm barely able to see our foes back off of me and that horrible Doktor reach my location. He bends down with a vial in his right hand. He uses it to collect some of my blood. I weakly say: "What.. are you.. doing?!"

He laughs: "Just collecting some of your sweet sweet blood! Did you know just how valuable a knight's blood really is?" "..." "It appears I've stunned you into silence! Or it is more like horrified you into silence?! Doesn't matter much because you're going to be dead soon!" "..How am I even bleeding? I'm a zombie." "Did you say zombie?! No wonder this blood smells and looks completely disgusting! Oh and many of our forces can make ANYONE bleed with enough force!" "..No matter how much blood I lose, I won't die. I'm already dead. You can take all of it but as long as you aren't able to destroy my entire body, I'll still be a walker amongst the dead." "You! I'll just have to make sure my new Fusion Parasites get good use of you! I will end you one way or another!" "Your threats don't scare me. What do you want with my blood? Any injuries I sustain hurt like hell still but blood loss does nothing to me. It's the pain that caused me to collapse to the ground. I will say though that if I keep ending up in this position daily, it won't be long before my body decomposes and my soul goes to one of the many afterlifes. I rely on energy I harvested from another dimension to not rot away." "How interesting! Since you're so hard to get rid of and you told me how I can get rid of you, I will tell you! A knight's blood is different than anyone else's blood. The same can be said for even a swimmer's blood! Because of the unique things you have done with your body, your blood has changed to become much more valuable. All the effort you put into what you do reflects on the structure of your blood cells! Not only that but because you have been exposed to magic and traveled through both space and time as a knight, the very makeup of your blood has changed! It doesn't matter if your blood is disgusting. I can easily remove what makes it so disgusting to make it viable to use!"

"So why? Why is my blood so valuable? What makes a knight's blood worth so much?" "Some beings require knight's blood specifically for their own plans or even just to survive! In order for my lord Don Thousand to rule over all dimensions as one, your blood is just one of many things we need! If anyone is able to acquire the blood of not just a knight but a mage, sage, scientist, servant of a god, and many more, they can gain ultimate power by drinking an elixir filled with all of that blood mixed together! In other words, it's a easy way to become a god! And I will become a god as will all of Don Thousand's other loyal servants! Hahahaha! After all, it is the actions of gods that have largely affected the destinies of the likes of you! The special properties found in all of that blood in part because of that are so powerful when combined!" I use some of the energy I harvested in the Nightmare Realm to heal myself and get back up. I feel weakened still but my full strength will return. I pick up Graceful Protector which feels different after being in a puddle of my blood for so long: "So.. My blood will be a sought after commodity for now on now that the likes of you know what it can be used to do? I bet some villains just want the blood of a knight and only that. I'll be ready for them. You made a mistake sticking around to talk. I'm going to end your evil schemes right here right now. Continuous Great-" I'm cut off as I feel attacks hit me from all directions, knocking me back down to the ground. The Doktor laughs: "I'm afraid that you can't stop me! Not when Don Thousand's army is itching to destroy you right here and now!" He starts walking away. My vision blurs but I hold on tightly to Graceful Protector.

The voice from that one time speaks in my head. "Swiftdrawer, it is time to awaken the power within you that was given to you in the Infinityverse. The power that you would have eventually been given access to thanks to your comrades even if that weren't the case. It now lies in your body too. Remember, you are the wind and you must learn to eventually harness the wind in its most raw form. The wind flows through you. You can hear my voice because you have come to understand many truths of the multiverse no mortal should have ever had to learn and your body has been altered many times due to interdimensional, space.and time travel. But right now, your sword shines more brightly than ever before. Graceful Protector is coated in your blood. Your bond with it is stronger than ever. You have to act now." I grip Graceful Protector harder and speak the words I feel are right: "Forged, upgraded, and used with love and dedication! Think to the moments it has bathed and been used at critical moments. Unleash the blood and honor born power! Enhance Armament!" My sword glows with a pink energy as it's strength increases greatly. That energy empowers me to get back up to fight once more despite my wounds and the tears in my armor. I choose not to heal my wounds again(yes I can do that with the energy) as I need to preserve my store of the undead energy I collected. With a minute, my sword cuts through almost anything in an arc of precise and fast destruction. The enemies who had been attacking me are cut into pieces. I wipe out a huge number of enemies before the energy fades and I collapse to the ground again. And my world goes dark. I wake up in a bed inside what looks to be the Melromarc Castle's room for wounded nobility. Guess I'm considering THAT heroic. Yay? Graceful Protector and my gear are laid out nearby. Raphtalia smiles: "You're awake!" "..I am but what happened? I know what happened to me until I blacked out but after that, I know nothing."

The Queen walks to the side of the bed my head is currently facing: "We managed to hold off the enemy forces for now. They retreated but it won't be long until they return. This is war. We have yet to stop the enemy completely in their tracks. Melty saw you the way you were and insisted on helping carry you all the way here. It was difficult for your armor to be removed." A familiar voice adds: "Intriguingly, it really was. I never realized just how heavy your armor really is." "..Bray?" "That's right, I'm here too. Many of our comrades are out there in this dimension too, just waiting for the enemy to return. It was a miracle we managed to make them retreat from this entire dimension. I heard what you pulled off with Graceful Protector. I had a feeling you had gotten yourself seriously hurt so I teleported to this area as soon as I was able to. You were out all night. It's morning now." The Queen says: "You two are close. All of you, let's exit this room and leave them alone for now. A meeting about this war will have to begin soon unless something very urgent happens again. We've been fighting for days now. It was only yesterday that the enemy forces grew to such enormous sizes." Bray and I are left alone in the room. Bray resumes speaking: "My friend, I shall now tell you something very important we discovered thanks to finding your sword covered in your blood after Melty found you. Something that also required the listening in on a very specific confrontation. Your encounter with the Doktor. Swiftdrawer, your sword is now considered a Underworld Divine Object. And my staff is the same way."

"That means.." "Indeed. You and I can use the Enhance Armament and Release Recollection arts with our weapons. It's true that I abandoned using my staff as a weapon. But it seems that after my death and before my unexpected revival, some individuals chose to upgrade my staff. Due to their deeds, my staff now draws power from the natural energies of Miitopia. As such, it is now optimal to use in battle once again." "Wait, when did your staff get in contact with the blood of a knight or the other kinds needed to create an elixir required to quickly become a god?" "Do you remember how I used to use my staff offensively as a melee weapon? That's when. What would be intriguing to others but isn't to me is that you were able to figure out that a weapon needs all those kinds of blood to become a Divine Object. The wind spoke to you very clearly I see." "Bray, why didn't anyone ever mention that the blood of a knight, sage, scientist, and more would be needed to create a liquid that grants godhood until now?" "My friend, that's because it isn't just forbidden to do so. It's incredibly dangerous to do it. Anyone who reveals that such an elixir exists will receive divine punishment. The Doktor will receive divine punishment if he has yet to receive it soon. Additionally, the consumption of the elixir alone won't make someone a god. A normal person will die if they drink it. Someone who has obtained power beyond what most of us mortals are supposed to obtain will survive drinking it. Even I cannot safely drink it because my time in the Nightmare Realm and my surprise resurrection locked away most of what I have gained since I surpassed all of my limits. Most of my Grand Sage level abilities have been rendered unusable. I will have to go through another ritual to unlock what I lost access to. But it shall be far more difficult and test everything I have. Almost like that is the true test to see if I'm worthy of growing my strength infinitely just like many of the gods themselves can."

"Is anyone worthy to drink the elixir?" "Goku and others on the same level as him are worthy. However, the elixir is difficult to create and you need blood from individuals of different universes. Additionally, there are other ingredients such as every element that exists. Light, darkness, noble gases, alkaline metals, all of them. Each time the elixir is created, only one individual can drink it. When the first sip is taken, it binds itself to the individual who took that sip. The elixir is known as the Forbidden Potion of Gods. Do you understand now, Swiftdrawer?" "I do." We both gasp in pain as our marks hurt. "Damn it. The enemy is back. We have to hurry back outside. There's no other choice!" "Indeed. We shall go outside now. Chocolate is waiting for you. She will come to you once we step outside. Do not worry, she was seriously injured but I tended to her wounds and the damage to her armor and saddle with ease and care. Indeed, that's why your sword and gear look as good as new as well. I took care of them. Your blood is no longer on Graceful Protector but one red blood cell did get imprinted in it. That's what also happened when it touched the other blood needed to turn it into a Divine Object. This happens to any weapon wielded by a hero who has crossed multiple dimensions. As we make haste, let me inform you of the reason you were out for so long after using Enhance Armament. In the Infinityverse, Enhance Armament needed a system command. Outside of the digital world, it still needs something similar to that that is connected to the equivalent of that game's system. Without realizing it, you tapped into a spell embedded in the fabric of reality itself. It required a huge energy and mana cost that was too much for you to handle for long." "If that's the case.. *finishes putting everything on, my helmet being the last thing to be put back on* Then how did having the ability to do it in that game translate to being able to outside of the game?" "Your mind was touched by that ability, causing it to subconsciously make the neural changes necessary to be able to pull it off in this dimension and beyond."

"I see. Well, it's time we get a move on. I never mention it even in my writings of interdimensional adventures but putting my armor on is a pain in the butt." "Indeed." We head outside to find an even larger force of Don Thousand's troops waiting for us. There were a lot of Ultimate Ancient Gear Golems among them. "Damn it, how in the hell are we supposed to beat our foes? We got lucky last time they showed up." "This is a dilemma for which I have no solution myself. Even Dominic would struggle to come up with a way to deal with this. I must go, I am needed elsewhere at the moment. Take care." Bray teleports away. I mount Chocolate right after she runs over to me and licks my face nervously. I pet her: "It's okay, Chocolate. We'll be okay in the end even if that means being in a small but tranquil corner of a universe currently beyond the reach of mortals like us for eternity as nearly every Mortal Realm is left in ruins." She feels a little bit better and we ride off in the direction of the front lines. Raphtalia greets us: "Glad you could make it! We need all the help we can get in dealing with all of these foes.." "That's no exaggeration. I wish someone could actually come to help us already. It was bad enough yesterday. I might as well just let myself go insane again and summon the Blood Demon Sword. But I have a better idea than that. Go, Artist's Eye!" I activate Artist's Eye. Since I was able to train it a little bit in the Infinityverse, I can now have it activated for about 6 minutes if I don't create anything with it in that time frame. Hearts smirks: "Now the real battle begins. I have no more reason to hold anything back." We all start fighting at full strength. But then, an unexpected twist occurs. The Waves of Catastrophe appear in the sky. All kinds of monsters come from them but that's not all. Roget loudly commands: "Attention Sector Security and Obelisk Force. As you can see, a wave from the Waves of Catastrophe has appeared. Destroy all of the monsters summoned through it! I can't afford to have my invasion ruined by them!"

And then, a lot of figures appear around us. A green haired(long, tied in 2 braids) 17 year old girl in silver plate armor with light skin, yellow-green eyes, and a simple dress named Rishia is first. Then there's L'Arc who has a red and brown long tunic, dark brown gloves, a brown leather thing that looks similar to a wrestling champion belt crossed with the hanging cloth of a tabard, tan skin, spiky red hair, red eyes, and a tattoo on his left arm. He wields the Scythe Vassal Weapon. Now for the others. Kizuna the Hunting Hero has long brown hair tied into pigtails, brown eyes, and a gothic style dress. She holds the Legendary Hunting Tool which can transform from fishing rod to a sword like weapon and back. Glass, wielder of the Fan Vassal Weapon is a spirit person. She has long black hair styles like that of a Japanese princess, white skin, red violet eyes, and a black kimono with some silver areas and more. Elrasla Ragralock is known for her use of the Hengen Musou, a powerful style of martial arts. She is short and has light skin, grey hair, a strong and elderly look, grey? eyes, and a mostly white dougi outfit. Finally, there's Therese who has bluish green hair pulled into a braid of 3 which drapes, white skin, blue eyes, a simple brown and white dress style outfit, and glove like accessories with massive gems on both of her hands. She is a Jewel. Jewels are people who gain special powers from stones they refer to as jewels. Much like Steven Universe, she was born with a gemstone. L'Arc greets Naofumi: "Hey Kiddo! It's been a while! For some reason, a unexpected Wave of Catastrophe began and we took it here to this world. It looks like you're all in great danger. We're going to help you out." Therese nods: "That's right. We'll make sure that things turn out okay here even though the odds are stacked against us." Elarsla cracks her knuckles: "I'm going to show you youngsters once again how it's done!"

Kizuna smiles: "There's no time to hang around but this is going to be great! Let's fight!" Rishia shyly smiles but then gets bold: "Sir Ren will recognize me! I'm so glad to be here! Let's win!" Glass speaks: "Like Kizuna said. Let's get started." Sinon smirks: "The more the merrier. With all of you here to help, our chances of winning have just increased significantly." Kirito yells: "We have to get moving! Now!" I charge in with the others after dismounting off of Chocolate. Chocolate says: "I'm going too!" and charges in with us. Glass gets into the air and waves her fan around: "Circle Dance Attack Formation, Flower Wind!" And so, the fight for Raphtalia's World resumes once again. Roget yells loudly: "Damn it! There's more people standing in our way! Sector Security, split up into 2! Half of you help deal with them. The rest of you, attack the monsters from the Wave!" I unclipped my shield from behind my cape and clipped it to my left glove before drawing Graceful Protector. "This time, I'm not going to let any enemy shatter my armor so easily! I'm going to protect my comrades and this world! The loss in attack speed is worth it if it means I can help do more than what I could do otherwise! Let's go!" As I faced a bunch of Hunting Hounds, I slashed at them as well as bashed them with my shield when I could. But then, I heard Naofumi get angry. "No! Damn it! I can't allow him to be controlled by the demon or the Rage Shield! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 45! Haaaaaaa! Look at what I can do without dying or getting seriously hurt!" Recharge from the battles and conflicts, that's what we need to do all the time. *Exhausted warriors completely chill out right after a long and difficult battle.*Can't you see that we just want to live peaceful lives? Take a day out with friends, swim in a pool. I miss the days when fun and play were paramount with true responsibilities were so far away. *Many characters of great power flash back to innocent childhoods.* Nearly every night I sleep, I cease thoughts of the troubles of reality. Deep down, all we want are the same things anyone else needs to live healthy and well rounded lives. *The Miitopian entourage spend precious time together.*"
