Disclaimer: I don't own the 2004 animated film Shark Tale and all rights goes to DreamWorks Animation SKG. Shark Tale has been one of my favorite movies since my childhood, and it still is today. I've enjoyed that movie many times since I was a kid, and I still enjoy it today. Since I love the movie so much, I decided to a story about it called Attack Of The Silky Shark Mafia which is the sequel to the whole retelling of the movie that is called When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie with new characters, new scenes, and different dialogue, and my OC belongs to me. Attack Of The Silky Shark Mafia
Chapter 15: Making Amends
Meanwhile, back at the RMS Republic, Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa are still being held prisoner by the silky shark mafia in the dark and decrepit room, and Don Borovsky's son and daughter Pavel and Rimma and some of the members of his silky shark mafia are still guarding them in order to prevent them from escaping so Don Borovsky and his mafia's plans of taking over Southside Reef by overthrowing Don Lino and his great white shark mafia without any interference at all.
While they are still being held prisoner by the silky shark mafia, they still hope that they will be able to escape from their imprisonment somehow and that Don Lino will send some members of his mafia to rescue them so they will be able to save Southside Reef from Don Borovsky and his mafia and stop their plans of invading the reef as well as overthrowing the great white shark mafia.
Also, Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa has stopped feeling so disappointed at Hannah and Quincy for making a deal with Don Borovsky and his mafia by having them delivered to them which almost put everybody in danger in the process and have decided to forgive them for almost making a huge mistake since they've discovered the truth about the whole thing and how they've decided to help them out with stopping the silky shark mafia's plans as well as how they've been completely unaware of the mafia's invasion plot until now in their defense and they're actually good people with good hearts no matter what and wouldn't do anything to hurt anybody and they've only made the deal with the silky shark mafia for the safety of Northside Reef. They've become best friends with Hannah and Quincy, and they already know that they both shouldn't feel so guilty for everything that has happened and it wasn't actually their fault.
Suddenly, just as the two couples and the two Lino siblings are still intending on saving Southside Reef from Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia, both Oscar and Lenny gets an idea on how to stop the silky shark mafia invasion of the reef, and it's trying to convince Don Borovsky and his mafia that fish and sharks making peace with each other is actually such a good idea and get him to understand that things must change for the better instead of fighting him and his mafia off to save the reef.
Also, Oscar remembers of how he first quickly became best friends with Lenny and Teresa and learned that not all sharks in the ocean are bloodthirsty killers since they're one of them and quickly opened up to Lenny's vegetarian lifestyle when he quickly got to know him and Teresa better, and realized that Don Borovsky needed to know all about it in order to convince him and his mafia to see that fish and sharks burying the hatchet is actually a good thing. Lenny also remembered of how he and Teresa has managed to reconcile with their father Don Lino when he finally learned to accept Lenny for who he is and that all sharks are not vicious and savage with the help of Oscar who learned to appreciate what he already had and reconciled with Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, and realized that Don Borovsky need to know about it as well.
Once they've both realized those things which has happened, Oscar and Lenny figured out that Don Lino hasn't told Don Borovsky about how he realized that it was a huge mistake to judge Lenny for who he is and that he learned to understand that he is his own person besides telling him that he had a change of heart and he and his mafia decided to make a truce to Southside Reef, and they realized that he must know that Don Lino finally accepting Lenny for who he is and realizing that not all sharks are killers has lead him to have a change of heart and know that Oscar forming a good friendship with Lenny and Teresa once he first met them so he will be convinced that fish and sharks can get along with each other. Also, they hope that convincing Don Borovsky and his mafia will be able to mend his estranged friendship with Don Lino since it has become very strained when he discovered what happened six months ago.
"Hey, guys, Lenny and I have an idea to stop the silky shark mafia from taking over Southside Reef," said Oscar.
"Wait a minute. You really do? asked Angie. Oscar nodded. "But we thought that the idea was to fight them off."
"Yeah, and it was Daddy's idea to do so in order to save the reef from them no matter what." said Teresa. "What do you mean by that?"
"We mean that we don't actually have to fight those guys anyway," said Lenny.
"But why shouldn't we fight the silky shark mafia?" asked Sabrina.
"Look, what are you trying to say?" asked Nelson.
"We're saying that we should just at least try to reason with them instead of fighting them," said Oscar.
"You're saying that we should reason with them?" asked Angie.
"But why do you think so?" asked Teresa.
"The silky sharks are trying to take over the reef," said Nelson.
"The silkies are also trying to overthrow the great whites," said Sabrina.
"We can't let that happen," said Teresa.
"If we do, then it's game over for everybody." said Angie.
"We already know what will happen if the silky sharks win, but Oscar and I realize that Borovsky needs to hear the full story about what happened six months ago," said Lenny.
"Borovsky already knows that Lino and his mafia had decided to make a truce once the truth about the Sharkslayer has been revealed," said Oscar. "But we've quickly discovered that he didn't know the reason why Lino and his mafia had decided to bury the hatchet with the reef is because he eventually learned that Lenny is already perfect just the way he is since everybody is already perfect just the way they are."
"Also, Borovsky doesn't even know that Teresa and I quickly developed a good friendship with Oscar once we first met him," said Lenny. "That was when we decided to swim away from home due to Pop always questioning me for who I am and how Teresa is always on my side, and Oscar accepted me for who I am and my lifestyle as a vegetarian shark while he learned that not all sharks are cold-blooded killers and some of them are actually friendly."
"I guess that Lino didn't even mention about managing to understand that Lenny is his own person and that he shouldn't expect him to be something else that he isn't." said Oscar. "And how I quickly became best friends with Lenny and Teresa and got to know them better. He only told him that he and his mafia decided to make peace with the reef, but he didn't tell him the other things that changed his ways for the better."
"We've realized that Borovsky needs to know about how Pop finally accepted me for who I am and realized that not all sharks are aggressive," said Lenny. "And he needs to know about the friendship we quickly began to have with Oscar when we first met him. Besides, if we and everybody else continue to fight him and his mafia in order to save the reef, it might go on forever, and everybody will eventually get exhausted from fighting without a resolution."
"Also, we realized that fighting Borovsky and his mafia to stop them from taking is actually pointless and the fighting can't continue day after day." said Oscar. "Even though if we do win the fight, they might keep coming back and keep trying to take over the reef until they succeed in doing so. We need some kind of resolution to stop the whole silky shark mafia, and it should be resolved by convincing them that things really must change for the better and that fish and sharks can actually get along with each other."
"You know, what you just explained to us is absolutely correct, Oscar and Lenny." said Angie.
"Borovsky and his mafia really needed to know about our sudden good friendship with Oscar and how he got to know us better," said Teresa.
"And he needs to know what really led Lino and his mafia to have a change of heart and bury the hatchet with everybody in Southside Reef." said Nelson.
"That's a good idea to resolve all of this and let's just hope it will work," said Sabrina.
"Yes, and if it does work, Southside Reef would be saved for sure," said Oscar.
"If we could be able to convince Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia, then he would be able to repair his friendship since it hasn't been the best lately." said Lenny.
Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa then share a group hug with each other just as they hope that they will be able to escape from their imprisonment when Don Lino send them some help and manage to stop Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia from taking over Southside Reef, and they've decided to forgive Hannah and Quincy for what they almost tried to do and how everything that has been carried out by Don Borovsky and his mafia wasn't actually their fault. Also, they've decided that they should just reason with them and get them to understand that fish and sharks making a truce was actually a good idea as well as how Don Lino and his mafia's redemption actually turned out and Lenny and Teresa's newfound good friendship with Oscar after they first met him.
Meanwhile, in the wastelands of the Atlantic Ocean, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy are heading right towards the RMS Republic in Northside Reef in order to save Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa from the silky shark mafia. While they do so, Hannah and Quincy are still feeling very guilty for making the deal with the silky shark mafia and for everything that the silky shark mafia did even though the whole thing wasn't actually their fault since they didn't know the silky shark mafia's plot to take over Southside Reef, and they really want to make up for the huge mistake they almost made by helping out with stopping the silky shark invasion of Southside Reef. While they are still in a complete state of guilt, Crystal and Ulrich begin to feel very bad for them since they already know that they shouldn't feel so guilty for everything and they're not actually to blame for what happened.
They continue traveling throughout the wastelands together, and then they all arrive at the RMS Republic and prepare to rescue Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa from the silky shark mafia. Just as they are, Crystal and Ulrich assure to Hannah and Quincy that everything that has been caused by the silky shark mafia wasn't their fault since they didn't know about their scheme to take over Southside Reef until they've discovered the truth and that they could be forgiven for the mistake they almost made while they forgive them for what they almost did, and upon hearing their assurance, Hannah and Quincy suddenly stop feeling guilty and realized that it wasn't their fault after all while they forgave themselves for almost making a huge mistake.
"Hannah, Quincy, you shouldn't blame yourselves for everything that the silkies did." said Crystal.
"Yeah, but we made a deal with them and we almost delivered Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina to them," said Hannah.
"But you didn't even know about their plan to take over Southside Reef and overthrow Don Lino and his mafia," said Ulrich.
"True, but we nearly screwed up and put everybody in danger all because of it." said Quincy.
"But you got the chance to learn the truth before you made it, and it was a good thing that you've realized it and learned from the mistake you almost made." said Crystal.
"Also, it was a good thing you two decided to help out with stopping the silkies from taking over the reef as well." said Ulrich.
"You guys are very disappointed in us for what we almost did." said Quincy
"And we're very disappointed in ourselves for it too." said Hannah.
"We are, but we're no longer disappointed in you two for what you did," said Ulrich.
"And you should no longer be disappointed in yourselves for it either." said Crystal.
"You weren't really responsible for everything that has happened lately, and you almost made a mistake, that's all." said Ulrich.
"Even though you've almost screwed up big time, it wasn't your fault and you're not to blame for all of this anyway. Please don't blame yourselves for it." said Crystal.
"Oh, and by the way, we forgive you for almost making your mistake and you've decided to do the right thing," said Ulrich.
"Also, you should forgive yourselves for it and you didn't even know what the silkies had been up to when you made that deal," said Ulrich.
"Honestly, you only decided to make that deal for the safety of Northside Reef which was only a ruse, and you guys are good people with good hearts." said Crystal. "So, Hannah and Quincy, what do you say?"
"We say that what you just explained is so true," said Hannah. "Everything that has been carried out by the silky sharks wasn't our fault and we didn't know about their plans to take over the reef. "
"We honestly would never do anything to have anybody get hurt and we're not to blame for everything the silky sharks have done," said Quincy. "So, we forgive ourselves for almost screwing up."
"That's so great to hear about that, Hannah and Quincy." said Ulrich.
"We're glad that you've learned your lesson. Even the hard way." said Hannah.
Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy continue heading right towards the RMS Republic so they could rescue Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa from the silky shark mafia, and Hannah and Quincy has stopped feeling so guilty for everything the silky shark mafia did lately and stopped blaming themselves for everything as well, and they have forgiven themselves for almost making a huge mistake and has learned from it the hard way while Crystal and Ulrich are proud of them for being able to stop feeling guilty since it wasn't their fault and forgave themselves for the mistake they almost made, and they forgave them since they already know they're not actually to blame what the silky shark mafia did. Just as they are, and unbeknownst to them, some silky shark mobsters from the inside of the RMS Republic suddenly notices them coming from out of one of the windows and decide to alert Pavel, Rimma, and the other mobsters about their arrival.
Soon, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy arrive at the RMS Republic and sneak inside of it to carry out their rescue mission for Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa without being noticed by the members of Don Borovsky's silky shark mafia. They sneaked throughout the hallways of the RMS Republic and began searching for Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa in some of the rooms such as the office, the living room, the restaurant, the ballroom, and the library. They kept searching for Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa in the RMS Republic in order to rescue them, but they're unable to find them and begin wondering where they could be while they are unaware that they are being held prisoner inside of the dark and decrepit room.
Just as they continue searching for Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa so they could rescue them, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy suddenly gets cornered by Don Borovsky's twin son and daughter Pavel and Rimma and some of the members of his silky shark mafia just as they all surround them and sadistically smirked at them. Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters already know that they've come to rescue Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa from them, and they attempt to prevent them from rescuing them. In order to be able to rescue them, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy begin fighting off Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters, and Crystal and Ulrich use combat skills, Hannah uses a cleaning brush, and Quincy uses a shovel.
Just as Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy began fighting Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters, Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa are still imprisoned inside the room and continued to have hope that they will be able to escape so they will be able to save Southside Reef by reasoning with Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia and getting them to understand that fish and sharks can make peace with each other. Suddenly, they all heard the fight going on in another part in the RMS Republic in the room they're imprisoned at and they heard the voices of Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy as well as Pavel and Rimma, and it made them realize that Don Lino had sent some help for their escape after all, and they begin calling out to Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy to help them.
During the fight, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy suddenly heard the voices of Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa and they began using them to figure out where they are at in the RMS Republic, and they suddenly began fleeing from Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters throughout the hallways until they've quickly managed to lose them by entering the gymnasium and they quickly leave the gym and continue using Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, and Teresa's voices to find them. Soon, they find the dark and decrepit room they're imprisoned in and quickly free them, and they are very grateful for rescuing them. Also, they inform them all about their idea of reasoning with Don Borovsky and his mafia rather than fighting them in order to save Southside Reef, much to their surprise, and Hannah and Quincy apologizes for everything that has happened and still intends on making amends for it by helping out with stopping the silky shark invasion.
"Oscar and Angie," said Crystal.
"Nelson and Sabrina," said Ulrich.
"Lenny and Teresa," said Crystal.
"You're all safe," said Ulrich.
"Oh, thank goodness." said Crystal.
"Thank you very much for saving us, homies." said Oscar.
"Yeah, Crystal and Ulrich, we appreciate your help so much." said Lenny.
"Now let's go back to Southside Reef and stop the silky shark mafia from invading it." said Hannah.
"Their invasion of Southside Reef has already begun, and we still have to fight them if we're gonna stop them," said Quincy.
"Everybody is already doing the best they can to fight them off, and Borovsky sent the members of his mafia to make some attacks on some of the places in the reef," said Crystal.
"They're attacking the neighborhoods, the Whale Wash, and the RMS Titanic. Let's go and fight them in order to stop their plans." said Ulrich.
"Yeah, guys, but we've realized that fighting them is really the answer to stopping their invasion," said Angie.
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" asked Crystal in surprise.
"We really don't have to fight them in order to stop their whole invasion scheme," said Teresa.
"Why do you guys think that fighting is the answer to the whole thing?" asked Ulrich in surprise.
"Because we should try to convince Don Borovsky that there's no need to fight at all," said Nelson.
"Sometimes, you have to fight for the sake of others, but sometimes, you really don't have to fight," said Sabrina.
"Guys, what are you trying to say?" asked Hannah.
"We should get Don Borovsky and his mafia to understand that fish and sharks can get along with each other, and how it's possible when I became best friends with Lenny and Teresa after I first met them," said Oscar.
"And get him to know what caused Pop and his mafia to have a change of heart and make peace with everybody in Southside Reef is when he realized that always expecting me to be a cold-blooded killer was a mistake and understands that I am just myself." said Lenny.
"But how's that gonna stop him and his mafia's from taking over Southside Reef anyway?" asked Quincy.
"'Cause that's the real resolution to all of this, and fighting isn't actually the resolution to it." said Oscar.
"You see, fighting doesn't always solve anything, even on a time like this one, and the only way to resolve it is to reason with the silky sharks and get them to know those things," said Lenny.
"Besides, if we continue to fight the silky shark mafia to stop their plans, it might continue," said Angie.
"The silkies might keep trying to take over Southside Reef until they manage to do so. " said Teresa.
"And if the fight continues, then it would become a problem and everybody would get exhausted in the process," said Nelson.
"So, that's the only way to save the reef from the silky shark mafia, homies." said Sabrina.
"You're absolutely right, and Don Borovsky and his mafia really needs to understand all of that somehow," said Crystal.
"He also needs to know how everything turned out six months ago and we hope that would save the reef from the invasion," said Ulrich.
"That's such a good idea," said Hannah.
"We should all do that instead," said Quincy.
"Oh, and by the way, we're really sorry for everything that happened and we would never have anybody get hurt," said Hannah.
"We really regret making a deal with the silky shark mafia and we didn't know their plans. Sorry." said Quincy.
"Hannah, Quincy, it's okay, and we forgive you." said Oscar.
"We're no longer disappointed in you for what you almost did," said Lenny.
"Also, don't have to blame yourselves for everything." said Angie.
"In your defense, you didn't know about the whole scheme until then," said Teresa.
"All of this isn't actually all your fault." said Nelson.
"You guys are good people and you weren't responsible for any of it." said Sabrina.
"And after we met you guys, you've become our new friends." said Oscar.
"Really? We've become your new friends?" asked Hannah.
"Are you sure about what you just told us?" asked Quincy.
Lenny nodded his head yes. "Look, everybody makes mistakes and nobody's perfect, and it was a good thing you've learned from your mistake before you even made it."
"Since we've learned from our mistake before we made it, we're gonna make up for it by helping you out with stopping the silky shark mafia from taking over Southside Reef." said Hannah.
"We really wanna make amends for almost screwing up and we're still gonna help out with the whole thing. " said Hannah.
"We still appreciate your help, y'all," said Oscar.
"And how we're gonna need your help is to reason with the silkies and get them to understand that fish and sharks burying the hatchet is a good idea." said Lenny.
Then, Oscar, Angie, Nelson, Sabrina, Lenny, Teresa, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy smiled at each other for making the decision of attempting to reason with Don Borovsky and his silky shark mafia and getting them to understand that fish and sharks making peace with each other is actually a good thing by informing him of how Oscar became good friends with Lenny and Teresa when he first met them and got to know them better and how Don Lino and his mafia as well as the other mafias of the Five Families had a change of heart is when Don Lino finally accepted Lenny for who he is and understands that he is his own person since everybody is their own person no matter what. Also, Oscar and the others has manage to forgive Hannah and Quincy for what they almost did while they have managed to forgive themselves for it as well, and they developed a brand new friendship with them and they are still very amazed by how they've decided to do the right thing by helping them out with saving Southside Reef.
Suddenly, the group gets confronted by Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters who prepare to imprison all of them back in the room in order to prevent the silky shark mafia invasion, and instead of fighting them off in order to defend themselves from them, they attempt to reason with them that there's no need to fight and that fish and sharks can get along with each other and what just happened six months ago was good for everybody in Southside Reef. At first, Pavel, Rimma, and the mobsters refuse to listen to them since they strongly disapprove of the idea so much as much as Don Borovsky and everybody else in the silky shark mafia does and still thinks that fish and sharks can never be friends since fish has always been the prey to fish and fish has always been the predator to the fish.
However, when Oscar informed them about how he became best friends with Lenny and Teresa, and when Lenny informed them about how his and Teresa's father Don Lino and his great white shark mafia as well as the other mafias of the Five Families has decided to have a change of heart and made a truce with everybody in Southside Reef, Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters' expressions suddenly became very amazed and they already know that everybody is already perfect just the way they are and that they should just appreciate what they already had. Upon hearing what they've informed them, they are convinced that fish and sharks can be friends after all and that what happened six months ago in the reef was a good idea as well as how not all sharks in the ocean are bloodthirsty and some of them are actually friendly.
Pavel, Rimma, and the silky shark mobsters quickly had a change of heart of their own and redeem themselves in the process, and Pavel and Rimma make amends with Oscar and the others while they repair their friendship with Lenny, Teresa, Crystal, and Ulrich since they've always been best friends with them since childhood, and the group forgive them for their actions. Also, they didn't know about how everything actually lead the fish and sharks in Southside Reef and wish their father Don Borovsky as well as their mother Praskovya and everybody else in the silky shark mafia would know all about it, and Oscar and the others told them everything of what they plan to do right now.
The Borovsky siblings then decide to help the two romantic couples, the Lino siblings, Crystal, Ulrich, Hannah, and Quincy on preventing the silky shark mafia invasion of Southside Reef and reason with Don Borovsky and the rest of the silky shark mafia, and they all leave the RMS Republic while the silky shark mobsters waved bye to them at the deck. Just as they are, Oscar and the others are very delighted by how Pavel, Rimma, and some of the members of the silky shark mafia has managed to redeem themselves once they've explained everything to them, and they hope that Don Borovsky and the rest of the silky shark mafia would do the same.
