Prince of Equestria
Chapter 36- Challenge Accepted
-Avalon, Equestria 3:00 PM-
Jehrai nods, with a smile. He congratulates them. He takes Mario and Twilight to the next obstacle.
Two yoga mats are sprawled onto the floor in the center of the ring. The soldiers are standing right behind Jehrai. He says,
"Alright, the next obstacle is to do seventy pushups!" he yelled out
MTSP and Twilight gulp.
"Holy crap!? Seventy Push Ups! This is going to be torture…" he muttered
Twilight nods, agreeing with him.
"I know this sucks but we will get through this. I promise. We will win it." said Twilight
"Yeah!" said MTSP, confidently.
"Now, begin!" yelled out Jehrai
The two begin their pushups.
After seven, both of them start to sweat.
"Uh. I don't know if I can do this much longer. I am already getting tired." said the prince, who is sweating all over the floor already
"Keep going! We won't lose!" yelled out Twilight, who is sweating as well.
Both of them pant as they do 20 more. Then 40.
-Meanwhile in Canterlot-
Shenlong, "Amy" Kinyu and Knux the Knuckles Doll step into the battle. They recognize Eliza and Blackbiter.
"Missed us?" asked Shenlong, with a smirk.
"Shenlong!" yelled out Blackbiter, with a smile
"Amy! Knux!" yelled out Eliza with a smile,
The five of them all embrace in a big hug
"So. Some more have come to help us in this battle? That's great. That's what we need." Rarity said, with a smile,
"Yeah. I just hope Twilight and Mario will be back soon.." said Fluttershy.
The ones still standing all redirect towards Sombra and Chrysalis, while Zomkiar also plans on his next attack.
"You're finished. Absolutely nobody messes with us!" said Amy K
Chrysalis smirks.
"Aww how cute. Unfortunately for you, we are way more powerful." said Chrysalis
Sombra nods, in agreement with Chrysalis
-Back in Avalon-
Mario and Twilight have gone up to 50 pushups.
"Keep it up you two! You've got ten minutes!" yelled out Jehrai
Mario gulps. Twilight shakes her head.
Both of them keep doing pushups, until they move up to 70.
-Canterlot-
The trio gears up along with all the others for the fight.
Amy Kinyu looks straight to Chrysalis.
"You really don't look that tough. For starters, your legs look like Swiss cheese. You sound like a bitter old lady. I bet you haven't gotten anyone to date or marry in your life and wish to take it out on all of us. You are jealous because we are better than you. Your smell reeks of snot and boogers. Boooo, you stink!" said Amy K.
Chrysalis growls. She goes into rage mode.
"Silence!" she yells, "We will finish you off once and for all! You will be gone for good!" said Chrysalis, as she fires a green blast from her horn, aiming it at Amy K.
Amy K. smirks. She then teleports behind Chrysalis and smacks her.
Chrysalis yells out a sharp pain as she falls to the ground thanks to the pink haired, punk girl.
"Eh. I learned this trick a while ago. Luckily it came in handy." she said, with a proud smirk on her face.
Sombra is mortified.
"What did you do to MY LOVE?!" yelled Sombra,
"Your love?! Sure. Don't tell me that poor old Chrissy is your girlfriend." said Amy K.
Sombra blushes scarlet.
"I WILL KILL YOUUU!" yelled Sombra.
Sombra turns into his shadow form again and starts attacking Amy K. He's trying to suck her life in.
Shenlong growls.
"Don't you DARE mess with her!" yelled Shenlong.
Sombra reverts back to his normal, dark shadow pony form.
Shenlong comes up to Sombra.
Sombra growls.
"The more we kill you and your kind off, the greater chance we will rule supreme!" yelled Sombra,
Sombra sighs.
"Now. Let me show you your greatest fear." said Sombra, as his eyes point directly towards Shenlong, and blinds him, making him see horrible memories.
However, this doesn't last even a minute. Shenlong does the most unpredictable thing and breaks out of it with two of his hands.
Shenlong yells.
The others are shocked.
Princess Celestia decides to say something.
"How did he do that? That's impossible. I didn't think anyone would be able to resist King Sombra's power just like that. Interesting." Celestia said,
"I don't know how he did that either. But hey, that was totally awesome!" said Rainbow Dash
"I'd say he's pretty handsome." said Rarity,
Discord crosses his arms and smirks. His expression says it all- "That showed him.."
Princess Luna smiles as well.
"I'm impressed." said Luna
"That was sick!" yelled out Blackbiter
He, Eliza, Knux and Amy K are cheering for their long time friend.
Eliza smiles and sighs.
"If only Mario were able to see this moment…I wonder how he and Twilight are doing…" Eliza thought
-Avalon-
"Sixty six. Sixty seven. Sixty eight. Sixty nine. Seventy!" said MTSP, as he finally finishes his push ups.
Twilight is also done with hers.
"Phew. That was a lot on me. My hooves hurt…" said Twilight
"Same. My hands hurt too." said MTSP
Jehrai has a shocked expression on his face and smiles.
"Congratulations. You two have completed the second task. It appears I must have underestimated your talents. Based on your reputations as among the protectors of Equestria, I shouldn't have been so surprised." said Jehari.
Both the prince and princess smile.
"However. This isn't the final round. The next round will be though."
Their expressions change.
"Crap." said MTSP
"Ugh." Twilight said, as she rolls her eyes.
Jehrai takes both MTSP and Twilight to the final obstacle.
It's in a boxing ring. The ring of fire is still there. A big boxing bag is placed. Two boxing gloves are on the ground.
"You are to box with each other. One of you will be on one side, the other will be on the other side. If you can pass this, you will successfully be able to use our army in the final battle." said Jehrai
"Hey. That's not too bad. I am pretty sure I am strong enough to do it." said MTSP,
Twilight nods. She smirks.
MTSP takes his white gloves off and puts on his boxing gloves. Twilight puts on hers.
Twilight moves to the right side. MTSP takes the left.
"On your mark. Get set! Go!" yelled out Jehrai
"Alright. Um. Jab! Jab! Cross!" said MTSP, as he does the jab and cross moves.
He tries so hard not to hit Twilight too hard and only hits the bag.
Twilight does the same thing. She aims directly towards MTSP with her hoof.
Twilight hits the bag, then hits MTSP in the face
"No offense Twilight, but you got way too strong." said MTSP, "I have no choice."
MTSP aims for an uppercut towards Twilight. He punches her in the face.
Both of them keep aiming their strength towards the bags

-Back in Canterlot-
Fluttershy faces toward Chrysalis. The normally, shyer, quiet pony grits her teeth.
She growls and slaps Chrysalis on her nose.
"This is for everyone that you, your fellow changelings and King Sombra had killed!" yelled Fluttershy
Fluttershy flies up, then down to hit Chrysalis out of anger.
"OW!" Chrysalis screamed in pain
Discord sticks his tongue out at her.
"You just got your butt kicked by my girlfriend. How does that feel?" retorted Discord
Chrysalis grits her teeth in anger.
-Back on Avalon-
Minutes have passed. The timer suddenly goes off.
Both Mario & Twilight are finished.
The prince smirks.
"Congratulations. I am very impressed at how strong you two are. For that, you two are now worthy of using the help of our army." said Jehrai.
They both look at him and smile.
The army of Avali then walk up to Mario and Twilight, then they walk out of the gym. Jehrai is not too far behind as he accompanies them. They go back to the streets of Canterlot to finish off the fight

-Canterlot-
Zomkiar decides to come back with an attack. He first resurrects his army, including Commander Rengo the hippo.
He stares at Spike.
"You will…suffer. You may have gotten lucky this time, dragon, but you won't be anymore." said Zomkiar
Spike growls
"We'll see about that…" he said
Zomkiar laughs.
"Rengo! All of you! Seize him!" he yelled out,
"Got it, master." said Commander Rengo
All of Zarkiar's army charges towards Spike, restraining him from fighting back and tackling him to the ground.
"Oh no! Spike!" yelled out Eliza,
"Spiky!" yelled Rarity,
Everyone is left in shock.
Celestia tries to unleash a solar blast from her horn to aim towards Zarkiar's army but Rengo head butts Celestia, preventing it from happening.
Zomkiar then summons a dark, black and orange ball of fire from his right hand. He aims it towards the poor little dragon
"Time to meet your end!" he yelled out
"No!" yelled Spike,
Spike tries to blast Zomkiar with green fire from his mouth but Zomkiar throws the fire towards Spike, making Spike vanish.
"Noooooooooooooo!" yelled Spike, as he disappears into the ground.
He goes out like a white light
"NO! Not my Spikey Wikey!" yelled Rarity, as she cries
Spike has had a crush on Rarity for years and although Rarity does not feel the same way about him as he does to her (because Spike is a kid dragon and she is an adult around 21-22), she still cares about him like a little brother.
She cries the most out of everyone.
Everyone starts to tear up as the mourn the loss of Spike the Dragon. Even Princess Celestia and Luna.
"He was a good son to Twilight and a great friend to everyone. We'll miss him." said Celestia,
Eliza, who is still in her Nightmare Eliza form, gets even angrier.
"This is not fair. How cruel of him to just take away a poor innocent dragon's life like that….now I am getting p-" said Eliza, as she got cut off
Suddenly, Spike rises his way out of the ground. He uses his dragon claws to escape.
Everyone is shocked.
"H-how?! How did Spike do that?!" yelled Rainbow in shock,
"That's impossible…how did he do that?" wondered Blackbiter
"Spike is getting stronger." said Rarity, "I can't quite believe this myself but he is."
"Holy crap!" yelled out Shenlong,
"Incredible!" yelled out Knux
Amy K holds Shenlong's head, marveled at how powerful a kid dragon can be.
Everyone is all shocked at the sight of the power of Spike.
"What? Did you seriously think I was leaving you that easily? Well, I am here to stay." said Spike
Zomkiar is mortified
"This dragon doesn't know when to quit!" yelled Zomkiar,
Rengo looks at his boss, nodding in agreement.
"I know right?! It's ridiculous!" yelled Comm. Rengo
"Zomkiar, you and your army. Strike back!" yelled Sombra, "You must."
Zomkiar looks at King Sombra and replies
"You got it."
Zomkiar strikes back at the heroes, launching his attack against the ones remaining and standing before him.
However, This did not last. At the hands of a flame haired woman with yellow skin; Zomkiar ends up meeting his demise.
Zarkiar's army then runs away and hides behind him.
A light flashes through him and he turns back into just plain old Lord Zarkiar, splitting him and his ghost half, Phentor, once again.
Zarkiar is angered by yet another defeat.
Everyone is shocked.
"Woah! How did SHE do that?!" said one pony
Suddenly. The figure stands tall and she is revealed. Sunset Shimmer
"Do you mind if I join this battle?" she asks
Celestia then turns to face her former student, Sunset. She smiles.
"I've missed you, Sunset Shimmer…" she said
Sunset looks back at Celestia and apologizes to her mentor.
"Princess Celestia, I'm sorry for the terrible things I had done back then and for running out on you. Forgive me." said Sunset
"You have grown up so much. You have truly changed for the better and have made a positive impact on the other world. Therefore, you already have my forgiveness." said Celestia,
Both Sunset and Celestia embrace in a hug
Everyone is like
"Awwwwww"
Meanwhile, Zarkiar stands there in anger.
He growls.
"Just what does this woman think she is?! She stopped me but h-how?! This is ridiculous!"
Sombra stares at him. He unleashes a creepy grin.
Zarkiar is confused.
"We can turn things around and win. I know we can. I refuse to give up." said Zarkiar, "Just what do you think you are doing?!"
The 'king' comes right up from behind him, and strips away all of the dark powers from Zarkiar.
"You have lost, and thus, you have failed us." said Sombra,
Chrysalis laughs and spits at Zarkiar.
He stands there in shock.
"You…. TRAITOR!" yelled Zarkiar, "We had a deal. You broke it!"
"Too bad. We don't need you anymore. Goodbye!" yelled Sombra.
Sombra then attacks Zarkiar and sends him flying through a building.
However. MTSP and Twilight, with the Avali army, have returned to the streets of Canterlot where the battle is happening.
They see Zarkiar being flown into the building. Both are shocked.
"What happened since we were gone?" asked Twilight,
"I don't know. Twilight. I'll be right back. You go follow the Avali army to the others and I will take this from here." said MTSP,
Twilight nods.
"Alright. Follow me." Twilight said, to the Avali army.
They all nodded as they follow the Princess of Friendship to the battlefield.
The Prince does the unthinkable. He flies through like Superman and just when Zarkiar is finally going to meet his end, and remain as Phentor, his ghost half, he grabs onto Zarkiar's arm to prevent him from crushing his head by being flown further into the building.
"I got you…" muttered the Prince
Zarkiar stands there, even more in shock. His main arch-nemesis just saved him..
"H-how?! Why did you-we are supposed to hate each other!" said Zarkiar,
"Listen. We need you and your power in the fight against Sombra and Chrysalis. We don't have a choice now. Especially since I'd figure they had something to do with why you are in this predicament. We can really use your help too." said Mario,
Zarkiar looks back at the prince. He laughs at the idea that he actually does trust him.
"Yeah. Right, right. How am I supposed to believe you?! You can't possibly b-" said Zarkiar
The Prince stares at Zarkiar. He has a serious expression on his face.
"I'm serious. Listen, I may despise you for trying to ruin my life, chasing me around all these years but…I kind of enjoy our little encounters. I enjoy stopping you every single time. I love our relationship. This is why I am still recruiting you even after you betrayed us again." said the Prince, "How about it? I promise when this is all over, we can go back to hating each other."
Zarkiar nods, somewhat agreeing with the Prince.
He thinks about it a bit.
The madman answers.
"Yeah. I'd like that idea." said Zarkiar
Zarkiar smirks. He also likes trying to stop MTSP every time himself.
"Good. We have a deal. Let's go." the Prince said,
Both parties shake their hands on it.
MTSP and Zarkiar fly off together in the distance, to the battlefield.
"Mario! Twilight!" every one of the heroes all yell out, cheering for their returns.
Zarkiar is right behind them.
"Yes, it's great to be back here." said Mario,
"Exactly. I couldn't agree more. I missed everyone." said Twilight
