Part 8 Finale: Coastal

Lumen Field, few days later...

Ricky and the others were carrying the expired medicines in a box to a truck.

Ricky: *places box in* And you do this every year with each stadium?

Freefall: *check marks paper on clipboard* Right before the season begins. There's a disposal site made for expired medications, and after that I gotta make a order to replace the medication thrown out. Want to have all the teams medically prepared for anything.

Ish: *sets box in* I take it it can be expensive.

Freefall: *nods* Can be a headache and stresser if the season has ALOT of players or us getting sick or hurt. Sometimes it takes one team to have a large medical bill. -sighs- Pray we don't get an league wide outbreak or that will be a huge stresser and I don't mean money wise...*looks up* Why do I feel a threw a red flag on that concept?

Tua: Well, keep that in mind just in case with that notion.

Freefall gave a smile nodding as they continued.

Freefall:-I overheard Pete thanking you for helping me.

All six stopped looking at Freefall, smiling.

Ricky: He did say he wanted to properly thank us. I'm just happy your awake and living life.

Freefall's smile grew at that as he went over.

Freefall: *looks over the list* Alright, that's all the expired medication. Now let's properly dispose this.

Marty: Soo-draining them is bad news?

Freefall: FOR MOST OF THEM, YES. There will be a list you kids will get once we're done, think it will help at home as well.

They smiled at this as the last of the boxes was placed in the truck.

Troy: And that's the last one.

Freefall: *Smiles* Perfect! Great job kids. Now we just need to dispose of this.

With that Freefall check marked the list.

Later, HOK...

Rampage, Peck, Pick-Ax, and Steed were sitting on the coach watching TV. It was just Rampage and Steed, but Peck and Pick-Ax joined in when they came to check on the Ram Rusher.

Rampage:-Still makes me surprise seeing him in this.

Peck: Even I'm still surprised years later.

At that moment the Ricky came in to check on them.

Ricky: Hey guys, Freefall wanted me to check on-*-VERY CONFUSED* WHY are you watching 'Little House on the Parrie'?

Pick-Ax: *points to the screen* You see that guy?

Ricky: *very confused* YEAH?

Rampage: That's Merlin Olsen, one of my boys.

Ricky's eyes widen as he starred at the screen, knowing who Merlin Olsen was fast.

Ricky: *shock* THAT'S MERLIN OLSEN?! The same Merlin Olsen from the FEARSOME FOURSOME!?

Steed: Yep, once he retired he got a major role at a family friend on this show.

Peck: We actully had to call him for confirmation seeing him in his first episode. *chuckles* To think he went from Fearsome Foursome to Gentle Farmer.

Ricky: *stares* I-Wow.

Rampage gave a chuckle seeing Peck's fan's face, at that moment the others came in with Freefall.

Ish: *confused* What is going on-?

Ricky: Merlin Olsen was on 'Little House on the Parrie'.

Guardians (minus Ricky): *shock* Pardon what?

Freefall had to laugh at the reaction, grabbing the end table to steady himself.

Freefall: *to Rampage* Oh you told him? *Rampage nodded* You tell him he and Roman Gabriel were in a John Wayne movie too-

Guardians (all): *Shock* WHICH ONE!?

Now all the Rusherz present were laughing, the Guardians head's internally turning on the information.

Pick-Ax: "The Undefeatable". He was quite the Screen celebrity after football, if I recall he was a Grand Marshal of the Rose Bowl parade?

Rampage smiled at that in pride.

Rampage: 1983's parade, he was beaming when we told me the news. Not every day you get a call like that.

Their confusion turned to smiles hearing this as Rampage mused on the memory. He had a smile on his face musing-all turned when they heard footsteps and saw Bolt walking in yawning.

Ish: Bolt?

Bolt looked over seeing the Guardians and the NFC West Rusherz, Freefall getting up and walking over.

Freefall: Where in the world were you last night? You just vanished once we hit the hey-

Bolt: Sorry Sorry, I was working on something for the team.

Freefall rose an eye at that-and, for some reason to himself, Ish did as well. Freefall sighed, nodding.

Freefall: Just let us know where you are next time okay, you've been out of Canton alot recently and it's almost game season.

Bolt: Right, will make sure of that-*sees Rampage;smiles* Nice to see your looking better Rampage!

Rampage blinked, but he smile waving..Ricky could see Ish face full of confusion.

Later,

Ricky: Hey, you okay? You looked unconvinced when Bolt came in.

Ish turned, the two heading back to their homes for the day.

Ish: Well, it's not like him to be gone for too long especially for working.

Ricky: Comes with knowing him for a long time as the first?

Ish:-It's not just that he's-he's my first friend. Seeing this is out of the ordinary for him.

Ricky nodded, understanding Ish's worry for the Charger Rusher.

Ricky: Let's keep an eye on him just in-case, maybe he's trying to help Rampage with his team.

Ish smiled at that, nodding in agreement.

Peck sighed as he looked at the sky on top the Hall of Fame roof. He was happy Ricky was able to help Rampage, AND he was able to tell him more about his division. Granted he didn't want it to come at a stressful situation, but talking defiantly helped calm their hearts. He closed his eyes, listening to Alto practice and Grizzly talking to Pack. He opened his eyes looking down to see Freedom talking to his team...he had to admit, even with Wildcard and Dropkick running around all was calm.
