When we first met during the Red War. I admire how you lead others, how you quickly get back to your feet, your leadership is what forge me to be so strong, without you we would have lost the Red War. They called me The Hero of the Red War, but truth be told? I never think that I was the hero, all I do is go in blow things out, killing cabals here and there, and out.

If someone is the hero than it's you Zavala, I'm just another guardian that luckily good at what he's doing, just another tool. You, however is the hand that guide said tool, and you have shown me on how to lead. If I'm a weapon that you, Zavala, are the hand that weild me to kill my enemies. And for that you have my eternal gratitude

For you I entrusted Sweet Business, she has served me well during my tenure as a guardian, and I hope that she would serve you as good when she served me

If you're reading this that means I'm no longer with you, teach

I'm eternally grateful that you have taught me on how to wield the light, how you teach me the power of light, and how you show me the true meaning of becoming a warlock. I always thought to myself that I would never be able to surpass you that's why I'm always refusing the mantle of vanguard warlock.

To me, you are the source of my power, the knowledge you have gifted upon me are tried and true, tested in the forge of war. If I'm a weapon then you're the wet stone that sharpens the edges.

I'm sure Heritage would be useful to you, I have tried to use it for several times, but it doesn't feel right in my hand, I'm sure you would be able to wield it better. She's a beautiful shotgun, keep her that way will ya

I know how you fear your old self, how you fear to lose your identity, I know that you feel that anything you do would never erase your past. But you are a guardian now Crow, you have people to protect, so make sure that what happened to Cayde would never happen again to anyone.

One last lesson, every guardian carries a burden within them, and as their journey goes that burden would only getting heavier and heavier until they finally slipped and fall into darkness. You need to accept the burden Crow, you cannot treat it like it's not a part of you, embrace the burden, and from it you will be strong enough to one day throw it from oyur back.

If you're reading this that means I'm no longer with you, and I would surely miss your crucible

Forging my skills, and abilities in your crucible have helped me and my growth a lot Lord Shaxx and for that I would always to be in your debt. If this letter reaches you, it might explain why I as absent form your seasonal crucible tournament.

I always enjoy your tales and stories Lord Shaxx, our conversation in the twilight gap truly inspires me to be one day as great as you, though I doubt that will ever happen sice you're still alive when this letter reaches you.

All of my weapon that I gained from the crucible are within the bundle I with the letter, I also would give you fifty percent of the money I saved, I hope you would find that useful to expand the crucible.

If you're reading this that means I'm no longer with you, greatest titan

I know that you looked up to me, seeing me as your inspiration. But the truth is anyone can be me, anyone can be "The Guardian" if they are brave enough, strong enough to carry the burden I carry.

If this letter reaches you Saint, I wanted you to not lose hope, don't chase down whatever being that killed me, but continue protect the weak, the innocent. You are a titan it's your priority, chasing vengeance is not your duty. To you I give the torch of hope for a brighter future

And with this I wanted you to have my beloved shotgun, Last Man Standing. I use this shotgun to protect the evacuation on Io and she have served me well, never failed to do her job. And just like her name, use it until your end, until you are the only one standing in the battlefield

If you're reading this that means I'm no longer with you, old friend

I know that you harbor hatred for Crow, you distrust his motive and you think that his promotion to Vanguard is a mistake. And for that I would say that you're right, when im writing this letter I still do not trusts him as much as I trust everyone else, Savathun's little action shows me that not everyone that resurrected as guardian would willing to defend the Traveler

So, I wanted you to keep an eye onto him, but I also want you to give him a second chance he has protected Zavala, helped me and you on numerous missions so give him a chance, will you? Also stop blaming yourself for Cayde's death, we both did what we could and Cayde surely don't want you to wallow yourself in self guilt

So, with that I being said, say hello to Le Monarque, she have helped me in many assassination missions, use it if you need to, but only if you're truly sure for her aim is true no matter the enemies, she would pierce them
