In the bustling city of Tokyo, you can find the four shinobi walking in awe of their surroundings. It was around 8 o'clock so the streets busy with people… and cars. Something that really caught the attention of the shinobi. They didn't anything stupid around like stand in front of the car or try to follow them. Yes, even Naruto behaved himself since that wasn't their goal for today.
Kakashi signaled them to congregate at the nearby corner. "Have you guys gotten familiar with this city?"
They nodded heads and Sakura replied, "Yes, I found out that this city is called Tokyo, and we currently are in the land of Japan. I got complimented for my use of the language and accent." Sakura nervously shuffled her feet. "I don't know how to approach this mission. We didn't exactly go over this back at the academy."
"Yeah well they didn't want us become professional thieves, just professional killers"
"Do you mind being more secretive about this Sasuke. We might fail the mission if anyone manages ease drop on us, we are on a busy street." Kakashi admonished Sasuke with a new word he managed siphoned from the few conversations he had with people around here.
Naruto had a confused look on his face, "I thought those things were streets?"
"No you ride them on the street. I think they are called cars." Sakura replied.
"Wow this place is kind of amazing with their technology." Naruto was still in awe of the bright lights, gigantic buildings and the moving contraptions called.
"Yes, their technological advances may have surpassed our own in many ways, but we will learn more on that during our next reconnaissance mission. Right now, we need to complete the current mission since we need capital to our counterfeiting business."
"What happened to being secretive?" Sasuke snarked back with a smile on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. Before we set off remember that we are going to convene back at the library and don't be too forceful during your mission. I fear this may not be our last time doing this."
"Don't worry sensei. After this we can just get a job." Naruto replied
"We'll talk more on this later but for now spread out. I don't want us crossing paths until the end of the mission." Kakashi commanded.
They walked away in different directions and spread out to different parts of the city. Their mission was to pickpocket the masses, something they weren't very familiar with since they never trained to be thieves. Even though shinobi are trained killers they normally do acts of goodwill towards the community to boost their reputation and solidify their position in society. They have garnered support of their community to be shinobi because they protect them from rival nations and follow an edict expected from a fellow neighbour. Shinobi don't abuse their power and rule by force towards their fellow civilians because they need them as much as they need the shinobi.
So Team 7's mission is one that would make them criminals in both worlds. They weren't comfortable with it at first, Naruto and Sakura being totally against it, but they understood that they are desperate and lost in more ways than one. They need an easy solution that doesn't require them begging for money. They will snatch what they need and disappear if need be. They would get more by taking then asking and they don't want to be remembered in any way, shape or form. Their recognizable features will cripple their criminal career, especially if they make it clear to the world that there were these odd-looking strangers begging for money before mysterious crimes started to happen.

Sasuke headed for the residential areas. He wasn't about to blindly rob people in the middle of street even if he can change his appearance. No he was going blindly rob them in the safety of their homes.
He arrived at a flat and moved towards the alleyway. Making sure that no one was looking his way he quickly transformed himself into a cat. This cat began to climb the walls searching for an open window. 'Seems to be my lucky day.' Sasuke thought as he allowed himself into someone's apartment.

Naruto is currently maintaining 2 jutsu and climbing the walls of a building. He didn't want to all of a sudden undo both jutsu in front the masses so he needed some high ground away from prying eyes. After he reached the roof, he experimentally tried to release one jutsu but both came undone, "Hopefully that will the last time I use transformation with the transparency jutsu" Naruto grumbled.
He managed to activate both jutsu in a bathroom stall in a sushi restaurant and had a clone come out in his stead. Now that he was thinking about it, he was actually maintaining three jutsu and climbing up a wall. Well whatever, now is the time steal some money. Naruto reactivated the transparency jutsu and looked down below at his future prey and reminded himself not to bump into anyone.
Kakashi was fine with the mission at hand since in his experience of thousands of missions he has been called to perform subtle actions for the sake of efficiency. Unfortunately, he can't be subtle here either with so many eyes on him. That's why Kakashi is on top of a building doing what he's about to do.
"Ninja Art: Hidden Mist jutsu"
A thick mist covers a 500-meter radius around Kakashi, and amongst the confusion his clones get to work.
Sakura was currently walking down with a conflicted look on face. "We should have just begged for money. I know its demeaning but come on we don't even need that much money to get by." Sakura kept strolling until she saw a huge cloud of mist and just shakes her head. "This is going to attract more attention from the other forces than begging ever would." But she had a job to do so might as well make her way to the top of a building and change into something else, a person or an animal. Let's go with an animal. Don't want to falsely incriminate someone of stealing.
It has only been a couple hours since invisible forces, crazy animals and a mysterious mist encouraging random criminals steal people's possessions. There would later be arguments between roommates over the loss of money. At least some got their possessions back but with no money inside. Another strange occurrence was the emergence of a giant bird cawing so loud it caught the attention of everyone. It was signal for end of this madness.

Hello readers I'm back and I have to address a couple of things. The bird wasn't a summon but a henge. The henge turned out big to be noticeable and to offset the weight of the user (so the user needed large wings to fly). And Naruto knows the transparency jutsu because this Team 7 is a rendition of every movie, novel and anime filler team 7, and yes their canonical abilities are included. There will be a few in - universe rules I'm going break and some rules I'm going to establish that either nerf or buff my Team 7. I will try to be as canonical as possible but some things will be rehashed to keep the internal logic consistent. I hope you stick around until next time
