Tony sneaks through the building. He doesn't see any guards, but he hears gunshots. Jack and Gaines are trying to draw their attention to reveal their location. Tony quickly finds one sniper, and shoots him in the back of the head with his silencer. Tony then takes the sniper's com. It will only be a matter of time before his friends realize he's not alive, but Tony hopes to be able to listen in on them. To his surprise Nina Myers is one of the snipers.

Carl Webb arrives at Dave's house. As Dave requested Carl sneaks through the back door, he thinks the person standing outside is Dave's security guard. Rebecca Allen is hiding in another room.

Carl: Dave, what can I do for you?
Dave: I'm just scared. You said that if we just put a little pressure on Keaton then I would get a presidential pardon.
Carl: I said that was your best chance of avoiding prison, but no operation goes 100% according to plan.
Dave: What am I going to do now?

Carl figured that Dave just needed someone to hold his hand. And if president Keaton actually did pardon him, Dave could still be a valuable ally. So Carl would babysit him for a little while. And if Dave panicked too much, he would deal with him then.

Mary makes an angry comment to Kim.

Mary: That other woman, you know her from prison?
Kim: Yes, we were cellmates.
Mary: She your lover?
Kim: We were together when we were incarcerated, but not after we got out.
Mary: When Jamal was incarcerated, he did what he had to do to survive. He wasn't exactly friends with them after.
Kim: You have a problem with the fact that I'm bisexual?
Mary: I have a problem with you cheating on my son.
Kim: I'm not cheating. We stood before friends and family, not to mention Allah, and swore to love only each other. But yeah, Danielle and I remain friends. And by the way, Jamal is still friends with the people who introduced him to Islam.

Tony is able to locate Nina Myers. From the conversation it is clear she is the leader of this group. As much as Jack might have wanted to be the one to kill Nina, Tony knows it's his duty right now.

Nina hears something, she turns around and sees Tony. She draws her gun, but Tony shoots and kills her. Just before Nina dies she makes a noise, warning her team. Tony hears footsteps, people running away. He doesn't know if they are fleeing, or merely changing positions. Maybe they are unhoused people startled by the gunshots.
