Author's Note: Well, here it is: the end of Arc 5. I know it's a shorter chapter, but given everything that's in here and the information that I was trying to convey and also keep hidden until the end, I didn't feel like I had much more that I could say. That being said, we're getting into Arc 6 next time, and I am beyond excited for it.

Katsuki Bakugo slumped down on his couch. He'd been a lot more active over the past few days, but he wasn't as happy as he normally was, especially when he saw the fight between the Infernal Orchestra and that bastard Midoriya and his lackeys. What pissed him off most was seeing quirks he recognized as people from his class. Especially Kirishima. That fucking traitor! Didn't he know that his now leader was the reason Bakugo was quirkless?

He let out a small growl and ground his teeth together.

"Well at least you're somewhat back to acting like yourself again." His mom, Mitsuki, said from the kitchen. "Haven't heard you growl like that in a while."

"Shut it, hag. I'm not a hospital patient. You don't have to stay around here all the time."

"You sure act like you are. This last week has been the first time I haven't had to check every few hours to make sure you aren't starving yourself. If you don't wanna be treated like a hospital patient, you should do a better job at not being one." Mitsuki said, wiping off some baking powder on an apron that she took off and tossed to the side.

"Shut up, what do you know?"

Mitsuki said nothing as she walked around to the front of the couch. Then she gave her son a once over and sighed. "Look at you. There's soup stains on your shirt. I haven't given you that kind of soup in four days. Get a hold of yourself!"

"You don't know shit about what's going on." Katsuki growled.

Mitsuki towered over his sitting form. "Get off your ass and change into clean clothes. You're pissed about something, and I'm taking you to the gym so you can blow off some steam."

"I don't need to go to the gym! I'm fine." Katsuki griped. His mother immediately threw a punch at him. He put his hand up to block it, and he did succeed in putting his hand in the way. But he didn't succeed in stopping the force from going through. He ended up slapping his own face.

"Like hell you're fine. You're so weak you can't even block a punch. The Katsuki Bakugo I know would always be training and trying to be better. The Katsuki Bakugo I know wouldn't just sit around waiting to die. He would get the hell up and fight for his life back. So get the hell up, and let's go fight!" Mitsuki said enthusiastically.

With a sigh, Katsuki stood up. "Fine, you win. I'll go get dressed."

"Ten minutes, young man.." Mitsuki said, earning a grunt and a wave over her son's shoulder as he walked away.

True to Mitsuki's order, Katsuki was out of his room within just a few minutes, ready to go. The trip to the gym took a while. Traffic was a bitch that day. Katsuki didn't pay much attention, though. His mind was elsewhere now for whatever reason. Well, he knew the reason. Anger. Hatred. For the people that put him in this position. He should've been at school today, and here he was instead going to the gym with his mother.

Before he knew it though, he was in the gym. He blinked. It was crazy how time was able to just… get away from him like that… He used to be so much sharper than this.

It made him mad.

The next hour or so, he lost himself again, but this time to the workout. It was rough; he wasn't as strong as he used to be, but in his head he still was. That was a blow to his ego, going from the weights that he was used to back at UA down to smaller ones. Pathetic. Between sets, though, all screens in the gym switched to the news abruptly. And what Katsuki saw immediately changed his mood.

For the first time in a long time, he smiled.

The door creaked loudly as Jin Bubaigawara slowly opened it. Inside the dark room sat Tomura Shigaraki.

"Hey boss, I know this whole regime change thing hasn't been easy for you, but I just wanted you to know that we're here for you if you need it. I can't speak for all of us, I guess. Yes I can. Anyway, I'm here for you. Go to hell!"

"Thank you, Twice…" Tomura said slowly. "It's just hard knowing my master isn't here."

"Yeah… But Nine is kinda cool, isn't he? He sucks! I know he's not your master, but he's something?"

"I'm not fond of the lackeys he's brought in." Tomura said, shifting his gaze out the window of where they called home nowadays.

"Yeah…" Twice said, shifting his gaze around the room. "I'll leave you to it. I just wanted to let you know that." Twice left and closed the door behind him. The door creaked just as loudly if not more so than when he had come in.

Tomura sighed. First his family was gone, and now his master was gone. His master being gone at least wasn't his fault. It was that stupid vigilante's fault. If only that vigilante hadn't monopolized his master's time like he did, then his master would have still had enough mana for the final boss. Instead, he wasted such a precious resource on trash mobs.

Because that's all they were. Trash mobs.

Whatever. He just wanted his master back. Sometimes he would catch himself watching the news for hours just to see a glimpse of his master in various stories and headlines. Even just visually seeing him was better than this. And so he watched almost incessantly. Of course, he wasn't in charge of this operation anymore since Nine took over, so he had more free time to devote to that.

It was that devotion that led him to turning on the small box television that he had in what could barely be called a room.

He hoped against hope that he could see his master. A glimpse. Anything to get rid of the aching feeling in his chest that told him that his master was never coming back. Anything to rid him of this negativity that had festered inside of him.

Two and a half hours went by, and he couldn't help but feel even worse having not seen his master. His phone buzzed, alerting him to a message. Probably from Nine if he had to guess. And when he checked, yes, it was from Nine.

"Meet me in the back room now." The text said.

He was about to answer when something on the screen caught his eye. He recognized the man on the screen. Or rather, the child on the screen. He smiled a wide smile.

That would do…

"I'll be right there." He responded. He found it hard to contain his joy from what he just saw.

Now it was all just a matter of time.

It was rare for Fumikage to be worried about anything, but given that it had been a day and a half since Izuku had left to go for a walk. He had assumed that said walk would be a few hours at most, but that was apparently not the case.

Truth be told, he had had a bad feeling when Izuku left the other day, but he didn't say anything because he knew what it was like to need space from people. Sometimes he even needed space from his own quirk.

'Hey! I'm not that bad!' Dark Shadow's thoughts interrupted his own. Even when Dark Shadow wasn't outside of his body, they still could talk and communicate.

Regardless, he couldn't find any way to make himself comfortable as he sat on the couch next to Himiko. His arms felt… off wherever they sat for more than a few seconds. After maybe twenty minutes of this, he stood up abruptly.

"I am deeply concerned about Izuku." He announced to no one in particular.

"Finally, someone said something about it!" Setsuna said from the kitchen table. Her hand floated back to her carrying a granola bar. "I've been back since last night; Green wasn't here, and none of you said anything about him being gone. His mom's been here, but she's been taking care of Kyouka and hasn't blabbed to me about it either. What's actually going on?" She asked.

"Hitoshi blew up at Izuku almost two days ago. Said he wasn't thinking and berated his leadership skills." Mei said coldly from her computer.

"That's uncalled for, especially with what's happened recently." Setsuna said.

"What's happened recently is exactly why Hitoshi went off on him." Mei turned around in her chair and faced towards the main room. "But I agree that it was uncalled for right now. Don't worry, he's in trouble right now. And he knows it. Not just with me, but with Inko too. And Inko is a lot scarier than I am, believe me."

"I just hope he's okay…" Himiko said after a few seconds of silence.

"I say that we give it til tonight, and if he's still not back, we go looking for him." Setsuna said.

"Works for me." Himiko said with a nod.

"Now, moving on from that, how is Kyouka doing?" Setsuna asked. Footsteps from the hallway caused everyone's heads to turn.

Inko walked out into the main room holding her bags. "She's fine. She's awake right now, and she'll be up and moving around by tonight at the latest. She's still weak, but she's healing. She'll need to do a lot of muscle training to make up for the damage she received." Inko turned to Setsuna. "It's nice to see you again, dear. I hope school's been treating you well with having to be here.

"Oh yeah." Setsuna waved her hand in nonchalance. "Nezu is really understanding, especially with this. Says we're doing great. Just wish all of us were doing great."

"She will be soon. Don't worry. I know she'll recover. Physically, at least. Mentally… She needs time, especially after what her and Hitoshi told me about what happened with Overhaul.. Give her that time. She'll be back and better than ever soon enough." Inko said.

"Thanks, Inko." Mei said, approaching and then hugging the shorter woman. The room seemed to calm as Inko settled in. It seemed to calm for everyone but Fumikage. He didn't have gut feelings very often, but when he did, they were normally right.

And right now?

Right now, his gut was telling him that things were not going to be calm for long.

Almost on cue, the tone that meant there was a message from Prometheus sounded from the computer.

"I wonder what she wants." Mei said absentmindedly as she walked over to her setup. Almost immediately, she jumped up and ran over to the TV. She turned it on and changed channels until the news was playing.

"Breaking news today: Snake Eyes, the leader of notorious vigilante group 'Societas Requiem', has been charged with the murder of professional hero Supersonic." The news anchor began. Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to the screen as video of their fight with the Infernal Orchestra played. "After being taken to Tokyo General Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries that were inflicted during their fight." The next screen had everyone freeze in their tracks. Fumikage's blood ran cold, and he could have sworn he heard Inko start to growl.

On the screen now was a mugshot of Izuku, bloody and beaten. "Thankfully, the identity of Snake Eyes has been confirmed as one Izuku Midoriya, and he has been captured and arrested for his crimes against Japan. We go live now to Ichiro Takanawa as Midoriya is taken from the preliminary holding cell and transferred onto a shuttle to take him to a permanent holding cell in Tartarus now. Takanawa?"

The screen changed to show a man with deer antlers standing in front of a jail building as a flying shuttle was getting ready for takeoff. Izuku was handcuffed and escorted down the runway to the shuttle as two rows of armed guards had rifles aimed at him. "Thank you. I'm standing here as notorious vigilante ringleader Izuku Midoriya is transferred to a Tartarus Shuttle under quirk suppression restraints and threat of gunfire. I spoke with the president of the Hero Public Safety Commission, and she had this to say."

The screen shifted again to an interview with an older woman in a white blazer. "This person is extremely dangerous and has killed a professional hero at the young age of 15 years old. It is truly a tragedy that we mourn the loss of Supersonic. My heart goes out to his family and his work partners, but I hope they find solace in the fact that the child who did this has been brought to justice and will be going away for a long, long time."

The camera changed back to Takanawa. "I'm now standing here as the shuttle takes off, heading to the main airship's current location. The location of Tartarus changes by the minute due to the fact that it is a giant airship. This is used as a deterrent to keep those looking to create a prison break from finding the location of the ship. I for one feel much safer now that he is going away. Back to you, Murokawa."

The screen changed one last time to show the original anchor with Izuku's mugshot in the top corner of the screen. Before the anchor began to speak, everyone in the room heard a weak "Izuku…?" from the hallway entrance. As everyone turned to look, they saw Kyouka's weak frame braced against the wall, eyes wide with tears.
